  1. Hi all, Today I'm happy to announce that we've now opened up the business section of the forums. We've decided to allow players to apply for a business lease in order to establish business roleplay on the server initially. There are plans to make these businesses buy-able further down the line once there is enough money in the economy for players to be able to afford these businesses. In order to encourage larger companies/factions to run these businesses we've decided that you must own a company in order to apply for a business. The business lease will be free for the first 2 weeks, after this you'll be expected to pay a monthly leasing fee. A pre-defined list of businesses are available to lease throughout the city and will be expanded on. The below initial clubs and bars are well-known locations on the map to aid new players in locating them whilst we launch the server. Players will have more business types and locations available to them on the launch of the server. The requirements for a lease can be found below: You need to have plans to own a company to create an application for a business. Pre Launch: You must have plans to own a company to create an application for a business. If you are accepted and end up not owning a company the business will be revoked. You need at least 6 people listed in one application, which helps run the business. You lease this business, meaning you pay a monthly lease fee for it. You cannot transfer the lease without lead admin approval. It needs to make sense for your character to own and run this business. You can find more information along with the application format here. Thank you, Baker

  2. Most organized arms dealing, as roleplayed by factions, is the sale of stolen legal firearms or firearms purchased in poorly regulated transactions in gun states. The profit margin is significant, as criminals and gangs will pay several times the legal sale price for an unregistered firearm they can use in crimes. If you're selling firearms outside the bounds of the law, you are an arms dealer or arms trafficker rather than a legal gun seller. Arms trafficking can be divided into two basic categories: state and federal. California state arms trafficking charges are generally less serious - all you have really done is sell a locally acquired firearm without a license or without conducting the proper background checks. For this you may be sentenced to six months in county jail or fined, with more serious consequences for aggravating factors (e.g. prior trafficking convictions). Federal arms trafficking is much more serious, and applies more to most roleplayed weapons dealing. An arms dealing incident is made federal by transporting the weapons across state lines, which is how the bulk of guns used in California crimes enter circulation. Arizona and Nevada are major weapons shipment points, being gun states in which large amounts of firearms can be acquired in legally murky or outright illegal gun sales and also being states which border California, where those weapons can be sold for several times their retail value. The penalties for federal offences increase sharply, to a maximum of 10 years in federal prison and much more extensive fines. In addition most people who engage in these activities are already convicted felons prohibited from possessing firearms, which carries an extra five years. 320. Illegal Sale, Lease, or Transfer of a Firearm is the LSRP penal code entry for arms trafficking. It's a low-end felony. 324. Illegal Distribution of Ammunition will probably also come up. Between these two charges, being stacked (or multiplied) by the amount of arms and ammunition you're selling, your character is looking at heavy time. If your character is convicted of major arms trafficking you should probably also roleplay a more serious federal conviction, assuming you're roleplaying interstate transactions. I suggest this for 'realism' purposes, as any major arms trafficker irl is investigated by a federal taskforce and usually ends up with heavy sentences. Ultimately it's up to you though. Typically people are only ever charged with weapons possession on these servers, as arms dealing investigations are rarely done, so I don't see this particular issue coming up much. But you should be aware of the potential consequences your character faces and how serious arms trafficking is taken in a gun restricted state like California (and therefore San Andreas). There's also 319. Manufacture of a Destructive Device or Prohibited Weapon, covering fabricated weapons and arms conversion devices, which is a newer trend in arms trafficking. Shmoe has covered this here. In regards to your actual roleplay, you have a couple of options. This is assuming you are a faction member who is selling weapons directly acquired by your faction from the 'scheme' and you're unsure how to roleplay this. Generally speaking these guns will have crossed the state border, so you can either roleplay being that level of arms trafficker yourself or you can roleplay having acquired your weapons from somebody who specializes in this as their criminal 'profession'. From there your roleplay is a simple question of actually selling the guns on to other characters. I would suggest some people experiment with roleplaying a dedicated arms trafficker, as most people involved in this business do it 'professionally'. Weapons dealing in real life, unlike on roleplay servers, is much less profitable than drug dealing so the only people who seriously profit from it are those who specialize in it. Criminal organizations have constant easy access to firearms and do not really prioritize it as a business, as is done in roleplay. NB: You should not roleplay internationally 'smuggled' weapons, as is sometimes done, particularly by European factions. This does not happen, unless for some reason somebody has gotten their hands on a massive shipment of weapons somewhere and it's worth taking the risk to smuggle them into the United States for sale. The U.S. is the biggest gun country in the world - guns come from there, they are not smuggled there. International arms trafficking in the United States goes the other way, into Canada and Mexico. Your guns will be from the U.S., probably a gun state like Arizona, New Mexico or Texas. I hope this will be informative for some people who might not be familiar with how arms trafficking actually works in places like California.

  3. 6 clubs? Why not have a more varied selection for launch like some restaurants, convenience stores, etc.

  4. Offensive, no, immersion breaking? Yes. Most people, if mentioned, will not resort to /b to correct or ridicule someone, that's, again, something that was relative to maybe pre 2015-16. What will happen though is people will acknowledge the aforementioned Liberty or Vice city as New York or Miami respectively. Like any guideline, it's not punishable by offense and any rebuttal will ordinarily be educational. I think too much effort is being focused on the wrong areas here. We'll obviously not, from a map point of view, say you can't drive here, here or here. Nothing will limit or restrict players from doing anything or going anywhere because it's such a rare occurrence that is easily ignored. It, again, misrepresents what we're trying to enforce with literalism. This is why hypothetical acknowledgements of a mainland connection can benefit both arguments. It's nothing more than acknowledgement that "realistically" you can drive in from here, here and here, and drive out from here, here and here. This can only be explorable if we stop treating it as an island. None of it will be a sticking point for new players, who can learn along the way. This rule will predominately affect seasoned roleplayers who are accustomed to change, want change and have been asking for change. The water won't serve as landmass, landmass is what the parts of the water should have been but wasn't and there's no going around that. It's generally agreed that the only reason there is so much water is because they replaced the invisible walls, wanted to shorten the map and wanted its fictional interpretation to be an island, cut off from the rest of the country. This is the only thing practically stopping us from roleplaying a mainland connection. When in theory it should already be there, given the perception of an evolving roleplaying community. I'm not suggesting we replace anything cosmetically, implement restrictions or refuse to acknowledge the water. I suggest we simply abandon the idea of us being an island and roleplay the mainland connection, even if entirely hypothetical. San Andreas should occupy the same space in the southwest corner of the US. The only time these coastal waters really come up is in police pursuits or excersises. It's not exactly hard to, other than that, imagine you're on the continental mainland.

  5. A triad is a Chinese transnational organized crime syndicate based in Greater China and has outposts in various countries with significant overseas Chinese populations. The organizational structure of Chinese organized crime in the United States is quite complex. Broadly defined, there is a great variety of Chinese criminal organizations. These include gangs, secret societies, triads, tongs, Taiwanese organized crime groups, and strictly US-based tongs and gangs. According to Ko-lin Chin, the foremost academic expert in the U.S. on Chinese organized crime, there is no empirical support for the belief that there is a well-organized, monolithic, hierarchical criminal cartel called the “Chinese Mafia.” The Chinese gangs are best known for trafficking in heroin and opium, but they are in fact as diversified as the biggest multinational conglomerate. Among their other activities are arms smuggling, credit card fraud, counterfeiting, software piracy, prostitution, gambling, loansharking, white-collar crime, home-invasion robbery, high-tech theft, and trafficking in endangered animals and plants. The triads are equally increasingly involved in the smuggling of illegal aliens. U.S. officials estimate that up to 100,000 Chinese are illegally smuggled into the country each year, many of them forced to live in involuntary obedience for a long period of time, while they work off their debt to the gangsters and smugglers that helped them to make their way into the states. In order to simplify and focus our discussion, this analysis will concentrate on the Fuk Ching gang. The Fuk Ching are active in Liberty City, and are regarded as one of the most powerful, and also transnationally active, Chinese organized crime groups in the U.S. (Chin, 1996). They are estimated to have approximately 35 members, with another 20 members currently in prison. Other major gangs in Liberty include the Ghost Shadows, Flying Dragons, Tung On, and Born-to-Kill. The Liberty City gangs, like the Fuk Ching, mainly operate extortion and protection rackets in defined neighborhoods in Liberty City’s Chinatown. Their victims are mostly businesses in Chinatown. In San Andreas, however, the Chinese organized crime presence, and the problem is quite different from that in Liberty City. In San Andreas, the dominant groups are the Wo Hop To and the Wah Ching. The Liberty City Police Department (LCPD), which polices the neighborhood in which the Fuk Ching are active, uses all the standard law enforcement practices commonly used to combat organized crime. These include informants, undercover investigators, and electronic surveillance. In addition, both the police and the FBI support and encourage extortion victims to use hotlines to report their victimization. The LCPD has also created an Asian Gang Intelligence Unit that employs street patrols to monitor street gangs. One of the structural characteristics that make Chinese organized crime different from other forms is the relationship between some of the street gangs and certain adult organizations. The latter are called tongs. The Fuk Ching, for example, is affiliated with the Fukien American Association. The Fukien American Association – as with other tongs and their relationships with gangs – provide the Fuk Ching with a physical place to gather and hang out. They allow the gang to operate on their (the tong’s) territory, thus legitimizing them with the community. Which is what usually appears in San Andreas as well. The smaller Chinese gangs fall under triads, that allows them to distribute and use their street as their so-called turf. In the state of San Andreas, there are more than thirty-two estimated Cantonese-American street gangs, and triads. One of them is the Paul Yin Gang, the street gang gained power in the early beginning of the 21st century when a huge wave of Cantonese-American migrants went to the Korean district of Los Santos. Many of them were smuggled through containers, which forced them to work for the smugglers/gangsters until they paid their debt off. Even though the Paul Yin Gang has had little to no influence over the area for the past twenty years, they've made quite a big name for themselves, as the LSPD had launched multiple raids in the area, charging many affiliates with money laundering charges, and involvement in loansharking. Over the last 2 decades, the United States and especially San Andreas has seen a huge inflow of Asian Americans. A look at how great of an Asian population there is in San Andreas is simply by looking at the enrollment at the University of Los Santos schools. UC Los Santos consists of Asian American and UC Red County is approximately 45%. This migration of Asians has brought many hard workers but it has also brought a new form of gangs more violent and brutal than America has ever seen. The Triads and the Tongs are one of the reasons why some Asian-Americans feel it necessary to join these gangs even though it seems to contradict the Asian "model minority" myth. The Asian American has been stereotyped as the "model minority", which implies that Asians have a strong work ethic, low profile, and a sense of loyalty to their family. Yet crimes by Asians in gangs have been occurring throughout San Andreas much more frequently than in years past. There seems to be a definite irony here in that the increases in Asian-American youth crime and the stereotype of Asian-Americans do not follow the same pattern. One such reason for this deviation is based on a matter of perspective in that one might consider crime by Asian-American youth as an occupation. If one takes into consideration that crime could be considered an occupation, then if the Asian-American work ethic focuses on succeeding in the new world, then the crime cannot be ruled out as an option to attaining financial class success. However, there is a more reasonable explanation as to why current Asian youth seem to deviate from the so-called "model minority" myth because of the two different phases in which Asians came to the United States. This huge inflow of Asians into San Andreas essentially occurred in two phases. In 1965, Congress passed an Immigration Act which abolished the old national-origins quota and increased the limit of 100 immigrants from countries within the "Asian-Pacific Triangle" to 20,000 immigrants per country from the Eastern Hemisphere, plus immigrants accepted within family preference standards: specifically spouses, minor children, and parents of citizens. This gave rise to a major wave of Asian immigration to America. This first wave in the 1 970s consisted of Asians who were highly educated, middle class, and urban. They arrived in a very short time frame, which allowed them to establish themselves successfully in America and thus was born the "model minority" myth. These immigrants were hard-working and stressed education as the tools to success and these tools would allow them to live the "American Dream." But more recently the second wave which started around the mid 1980s to the present, the immigrants from Asia have been mainly refugees from harsh political conditions in Southeast Asia. These recent immigrants arrive seeking new jobs and new opportunities but the job market is shrinking for less-skilled workers due to technological change. There has been increased immigration into the United States because under the current family preference system, it admits not only spouses, minor children, and parents of citizens, but also siblings and children over the age of two. But, for too many of these immigrants, coming to America has been a myth-shattering experience; because they soon realize that it is still very hard to succeed in America. When immigrants arrive in America, they strive for financial status and a comfortable home. However the first means to achieve financial status is through a professional job but a professional job requires training and some form of education. Immigrants who face a language barrier have trouble attaining that education they need especially if a college degree is needed because it is difficult to raise the money to afford higher education. Entrepreneurship is blocked by many of these same obstacles. And media success is forgettable because of the tiny market for Asian Americans in the media. Consequently, these new immigrants arrive in America with little prospect for employment and thus contribute to the growing percentage of Asian-Americans living below the poverty line. In order to simply survive, some Asian youth turn to crime in order to get some of the things that their parents cannot give them, which is usually influenced by poverty, greed, social comfort, and overall attention. Hell Side Wah Ching 1990s The gang’s origins lie in the tag-banging crew Hellside Asian Boys (HAB), whose ex-members made up the core of Hellside Wah Ching’s membership. While original members of HAB were primarily concerned with graffiti and graffiti culture, the merge with KTown Seaside Mafia (KSM) severely transformed the nature of HAB. While prior to the merge, HAB had partaken in petty crime, merging with another tag-banging crew irreversibly changed the crew. Local law enforcement officials had speculated that the clique was primarily 'created' due to the spiking interest in the drug market. Following the merge the gang was known as Hellside Mafia and has been involved in selling drugs onto a new lucrative drug market appearing due to the mass-immigration of Asian/Chinese immigrants in the Little Seoul Area. It's been rumored that certain members of the gang had developed ties to the local tong. It's been speculated that the tong had used Hellside Mafia as their muscle when it came to local extortions and drug trafficking. 2000s At the brink of a new millennium a bloody feud had occurred. What was formerly known as the Hellside Mafia had split into Hellside Wah Ching and KTown Circle Boys. The members of Hellside Mafia whom had pled allegiance to the local tong had then formed the core membership of the Hellside Wah Ching, whilst everybody who "didn't get with the program" became part of the KTown Circle Boys clique. In 2003 the Los Santos Police Department classified them as a street gang for prosecution purposes when three HWC members Nestor Chung, 17, James Chuang, 16, along with Joshua Hu, 17 and Omar Chin, 15 who was not in a gang were involved in the double homicide of Jack Cho, 14 and his father Li Cho, 45, on November 5, 2003. Jack’s brother, Bradley Cho, 17, was a member of the KTown Circle Boys and had a dispute with Joshua at their high school earlier that day. The four assailants were looking for Bradley when they shot and killed his little brother (not a gang member) and his father. It's been said that the tong had severed ties with the Hellside Wah Ching following the homicide of Jack Cho and his father. 6. "money, drugs and a lack of education" As more and more lower income families move into Hawick, the area becomes worse and worse, slowly turning from a rich area into a lower income area. Many families sent their kids to Hawick Highschool, where they were confronted by a lot of adversity due to them "polluting" Hawick. This led to a lot of arguments and racism at the high school. Many kids that didn't have as much as others were getting bullied and eventually started to clique up to get themselves protection from all the bullies around. Slowly a group was created of teenagers that want to make it out of Hawick and become rich. Since gangster music became more and more popular, white rich kids started looking to buy drugs which started to fuel the group's thirst for money. The "cough syrup" or more widely known as Promethazine Codeine epidemic started in Chicago and soon spread through social media and rap videos. This caused the drug to become more and more popular in schools and lower income communities all over the country. The drug was portrayed as being harmless by the amount of people abusing it, but this is far from the truth. Promethazine Codeine was called "liquid heroin" due to how highly addicting it is and due to the damage it causes to your body. Once you start drinking it, it becomes harder and harder to stop, having serious withdrawal effects. The rap industry had its part in the spreading of this drug, having almost every rapper making lyrics about sipping "drank" or sipping cough syrup, making it for some a must to try it out. Codeine has become a very trendy drug thought the richer high schoolers, that try to fit in and/or act gangster. This became a big opportunity to teenagers that wanted to make some money on the side, without having to take a big risk. Cough syrup is easy to hide and easy to flip for a profit, a bottle being pretty expensive, it can easily be poured into different bottles and sold separately. This alone motivated some kids that weren't as wealthy as their peers to start selling plugging their peers. This faction will be of community roleplay in the neighbourhood of Hawick, all recruitment is done strictly in character. We reserve our right to select the members that take part in this project. In order to be accepted into the faction, you need to showcase your roleplay capabilities. We focus heavily on activity, so a very easy way of being integrated is to be active and to be creative. As a faction we aim to provide the server with an accurate portrayal of a African-American and Hispanic community living out of Hawick, One of our main priorities is our roleplay, as we expect above average roleplay from our members, but this doesn't mean that you can't roleplay with us. We're all here to help. Have a plan for your character and create unique individuals with goals, ambition, strengths and weaknesses. Keep character development as your main priority. The thread will be updated as the roleplay progresses. (( s/o to @Wavy, @Qpaccy, @wokaddict))

  7. it wouldnt even be hard to map in invisible walls and a landscape. its done all the time in video games n is more than possible in GTA 5. you can ignore the south and west coast n just put down some standard terrain with low LOD mountain scapes in the background pragmatic solution but i doubt the developers would want to invest resources into something like that definitely let players use their imagination and roleplay it as mainland though it just makes more sense. setting a precedent where you can only roleplay what u see is not a good road to go down

  9. Southside Mob Piru, previously 1700 Block Gang, is a Piru brand street gang established in the early 1970s as a result of conflicting neighborhoods with the Crip identity. Prior to the adoption of the Piru identity, the group consisted of school friends and residents that conspired in crimes and violence to boost it's revenue and reputation. During the 1970s, immense hostility from surrounding Crip gangs pushed the group to unite with the Leuders Park Piru, which is located directly south of Forum Dr (1700). Soon after, the group ran under the Piru umbrella and espoused in it's behavior. The date of which the merge happened is unknown. Criminal and gang-like behavior within the Southside of Los Santos rocketed during the infamous crack-cocaine epidemic. This brought independent small-time drug rings to influx narcotics into the area, many of which later became defunct, and endorsed the Mob Piru's behavior. Several spin-off subsets of the Mob Piru aroused, however, a good portion of these became obsolete after key figures were indicted as a result of the crack-cocaine episode. Despite the Mob Piru's enormous list of close by rival gangs, it dominates the Southside with brutality and terror, expressing their allegiance to the Piru identity through graffiti, hand signs, vocabulary and internet presence. Regardless of Mob Piru's size, they are the fourth most active and longstanding Piru street gang operating. Mob Piru today still remain strong. Their enterprise continues to operate along 1700, through to 2000 blk, however, 1800 and 1900 are near enough semi-defunct. The effect Mob Piru surged has influenced the newer generation of youth to continue the Piru lifestyle.

  12. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Background The Black P Stones are a predominately African-American street gang located in the Chamberlain district of South Los Santos. The Jungle Stones, a recently founded Los Santos chapter, are known to be involved in a variety of violent crimes to include murder, assault, robberies, narcotics violations, and firearms violations. The street gang was established in the late 1960s by O.O.O.G. T-Rodgers of Chicago, a former member of the Black Stone Rangers. With the permission of the “Main 21” a term used to describe the original twenty-one leaders of Chicago gangs who agreed to merge with the Blackstone Rangers, T. formed a chapter of the “Almighty Black P Stone Nation”, who at the time, and contrary to popular belief, were in fact a community-based and backed organization and not a lawless gang; somewhere along the way, unfortunately, this would change. Under T.'s leadership, the Black P Stones became affiliated with and founding members of the Bloods, mortal enemies of the predominant Crips. In 1972, the LS Brims, Piru St Boys, Athens Park Boys, Bishops, Denver Lanes, Pueblos and Lueders Park Hustlers founded the Bloods after constant attacks on independent gangs by the Crips in addition to Crip and Crip rivalries that also began to surface. While they may be a set of bloods, the Black P Stones are one of the few blood gangs in Los Santos that represent the five. BPS, in later years, joined the Bloods movement and founded their own factions. The Black P Stones would thrive in "The Jungles" and become over five-hundred members strong, eventually controlling the largest territory of any other black gang in Los Santos. At their peak, the Black P Stones became one of the most feared and infamous gangs in Los Santos if not the entire United States. The Jungles & The Bity The Jungles, an area on Forum Drive centralized around various apartment complexes, neighbors to the renowned B.J. Smith Park. The B.J. Smith Recreational Center and Park was once a joyous area for children and adults alike. Known to host one of the most famous skatepark's in Los Santos alongside its beautiful baseball field. While mostly harmless, the area is responsible for get togethers by some of the most lethal surrounding gangs of the city. Locals who visit the park are rarely pressed by gang bangers in the area, however common folk activity is on a decline following a shooting in early 2018, which local authorities explain as "a nightmare". Rumors of a targeted escalation was responsible for a shooting that cleared a crowd of twenty plus on the basketball courts. A believed hit between rivals, which resulted in the death of one innocent female bystander and two opposing gang members. Many in attendance were taken to the hospital for their injuries following this dispute. The community remains outraged with these unsolved murders. The Sheriffs Department claims to be working diligently asking for people to come forward with any potential leads. The Black P Stones Bity is located in the West Adams/Mid City district of Los Santos. Which runs from Washington Blvd to Adams Blvd, between Crenshaw and Arlington. The Santa Monica Freeway runs thru the center of their neighborhood. Some of the cliques are found on 21st Street, 25th Street, 27th Street and 29th Street. The Stones have established ties to other Blood gangs in South Los Santos, as well as prison gangs. However, a majority of the newer generation of Black P Stones choose to remain No Kutt behind bars, meaning they retain their outside affiliations in the streets as opposed to cliquing up. This however, doesn't limit their peace and truce in the county. For example, they have a strong and close-knit relationship with the Rollin 20s Neighborhood Bloods referred to as the "Rollin Stones" alliance. The Black P Stones once approached the Rollin 20s to become members of BPSN in the past (Black P Stone Nation), but both preserved their loyalties. Operation: Red Dawn In the month of May, 201 Seventy-Five Members and Associates of the Black P-Stones Street Gang Charged with Narcotics Violation. Over 900 officers and agents participated in the execution of pre-dawn arrest and search warrants targeting members and associates of the Black P-Stones street gang, announced Steven Martinez, Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI in Los Santos; André Birotte Jr., United States Attorney for the Central District of San Andreas (Los Santos); Chief Charlie Beck of the Los Santos Police Department; Los Santos City Attorney, Carmen Trutanich; and Special Agent in Charge, Jim Todak, of Housing and Urban Developments Office of the Inspector General. Over 50 arrest warrants were served primarily in the southwest area of Los Santos. Twenty-five state search warrants were also executed during today’s early morning operation, known as Operation Red Dawn, as it relates to the targeting of the Black P-Stones, a faction of the notorious Bloods street gang. Seventy-five members and associates of the Black P-Stone Bloods were identified for arrest during this investigation that lasted over one year. Twenty-one defendants were charged in 15 indictments returned by the federal grand jury sitting in the United States District Court for the Central District of San Andreas with a variety of federal statutes relative to the possession and conspiracy to possess methamphetamine and cocaine base, also known as “crack.” An additional 54 state arrest warrants were filed with the Los Santos County District Attorney’s Office. A large share of the state defendants were arrested this morning; the remainder were already in custody on unrelated charges. An additional 20 individuals were arrested during the course of the lengthy investigation but are not included in today’s overall numbers. During the operation, the investigation had resulted in the seizure of 135.5 grams of PCP, 41.2 grams of methamphetamine, 25 kilograms of marijuana, 1.7 kilograms of cocaine and a vast variety of firearms. Assistant Director in charge Steven Martinez said, “The task force coordinated this joint effort to have the greatest impact on the landscape of the P-Stones’ gang-controlled neighborhood. The strategy involved dismantling the gang’s infrastructure by arresting the main players and by removing the businesses where gangs launch their criminal activity. By working jointly with the LSPD, the City Attorney and HUD, we have a chance to provide the community with an opportunity to move forward.” Allies & Rivals The Black P Stones have been known to wage war against various Crips and Hispanics. Most notably the Rollin (2x) gangs, such as the Rollin 90s Neighborhood Crips, the Rollin 60s Neighborhood Crips, and the Rollin 50s Neighborhood Crips. Their most bitter rivalries come from the 30s and 40s cliques. Other Crip enemies include School Yard Crips, Mansfield Gangster Crips, Playboy Gangster Crips and the Geer Gang Crips. The Stones are active participants of the current power struggle between African-American and Hispanic gangs in Los Santos, rivaling sets such as the Mid City Stoners 13 and 18th Street Gang. Around some time in the 1970s, the LA Brims, Bishops, Piru St Boys, Denver Lanes, Athens Park Boys, Lueders Park Hustler and Pueblos founded the Bloods after an overwhelming amount of attacks on independent gangs led by their now infamous rivals, the Crips. Following the Crip and Crip rivalries that had also began to spring into action on the surface. the Black P Stones sometime in their later years decided to join in on the Bloods movement that was started and chose to found their own factions the Jungle Stones & city/Bity stones. Today, the Black P Stones are on decent terms with a large and vast variety of blood gangs scattered through-out South Central, Los Santos. That list contains but is no limited to dangerous sets such as Fruit Town Brims, the Rollin' 20 Neighborhood Bloods and so on. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ OOC Information Our main priority while roleplaying within this group is to portray a realistic Blood gang which consists of properly portrayed members lingering around Davis. Upon joining you must take into consideration and fully understand that your character no matter the age or sex is growing up the most dangerous parts of Los Santos in the midst of a gang violence crisis, we take character portrayal and development extremely serious and will not hold back from kicking you if you do not hold the same priorities as we do. You can be removed at any time if you are seen as un-fit. All members must abide by the rules the server has set for us players and if broken punishment will be handed out by Black P Stones' leadership. This faction is not fully open to the public and you have to contact one of the three leaders to get in. If you have any questions, comments or concerns, or are seeking to joining the faction, feel free to private-message me S/O the homies @Wavy @LowDowns

  13. Hello everyone The last year has been an unusual period of time for the staff team and we are getting closer to another milestone — launching our community on the GTA V platform. In preparation for the many months of developing the script we altered the way our team is structured by introducing the 'Insider' team. The whole staff team has played a vital role in establishing the ecosystem and building the foundation for the server, without their knowledge and experience we would not have been where we are today. As of this post, the Insider Team will be removed and some members of it will be offered alternative positions within the core staff team based on contributions and activity during their time. We'd also like to thank Ten for his contributions to the Faction Team and for setting up and shaping the illegal faction scene ahead of the launch of the server, sadly he has resigned from the team a few days ago and we look forward to hopefully seeing him return in the future! We'd like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has contributed to shape the server — the community, the insiders and the staff team as a whole. Thank you for sticking with us through the most challenging period of LS-RP history. Moving on, we'd like to introduce our new staff team structure: Senior Lead Admin Baker — DadoJ — Kane Lead Admin nova Senior Admin DDaniels — Mitcholodolo — Redz Game Admin Xanakin — zalenac — ROZE — Benavides — Mario — Flemwad — Dos Santos Junior Admin Bellagio — Birdman — Zapper Trainee Admins accursed — Kendrick — Genny — jack — luca. Senior Tester betonists — danielswe — Turtle — Marshall Tester Bizarre — bobster — Caleb410 Junior Tester Farrell — Mac — AlmightyBounter — JamesW — Freedom Fighter — Faugh A Ballagh This list is not final and is subject to change.

  14. As a result of this thread myself, @Mac, the Faction Team and @largehazard or Liam took these concerns seriously and devised a plan to accommodate the majority opinion that is the replacement of California with San Andreas but in addition to a "compromise" that allows for the implementation of small-parts of northern California to replace extensions of their map-equivalents. Never before has this been done and we believe it will be a monumental moment in the server's growth as a heavy roleplay server. Not only does this expansion into uncharted territory allow roleplaying freedom conjoined with realism but it recognizes San Andreas as it's supposed to be, as California, the 31st state of the United States. This is still a work in progress and open to interpretation but the foundations of (our opinion) a realism-focused server varied with certain fictitious aspects will, in the long term, attract likeminded players while also being respective of the fun of the game. Before forwarding this to management we thought we would open it to public scrutiny so that those it will ultimately affect can have their voice heard in the interest of transparency. It started as a player discussion and we hope that it will end as a player discussion. Collectively, this is a draft (work in progress) that with public backing, we hope to forward to management for consideration: Los Santos, San Andreas, is a city based on Los Angeles, California. As a result of this, and LS-RP's stance on heavy-roleplay, Los Santos, San Andreas will act as a replacement for Los Angeles, California and part of its surrounding area. San Andreas will therefore replace California as the United States' 31st and second largest state. Encircled by states like Oregon to the north, Nevada and Arizona to the east, and Mexico's Baja California to the south, its coastline on the Pacific Ocean on the west acts as "the 5 borders of San Andreas." For a more immersive experience and in the interest of server continuity, we are only roleplaying on-map locations as replacements for real life locations, therefore San Francisco, Las Vegas, Miami, and New York all remain the same. In addition to this, factions and players may use real events, history and backgrounds to construct both individual and faction background stories up until the cut-off point of 2019, granted that it doesn't coincide with key parts of our own server lore including key figures such as members of the government, police department, fire department and known criminals who also replace their real-life equivalents. This will apply for immersive purposes only to things like the weather, news (country-wide) and information to create a realistic character or faction background. In a nutshell, faction and character backgrounds may contain real-life history up until 2019 then everything after that must become fictitious. Despite having a SoSan (SoCal) dominant stance on SA:MP, we have decided to step into GTA V with a more neutral stance on the subject to create even more opportunities for the players. Under this circumstance, we will be tailoring our map around different parts of California. Paleto Bay and Grapeseed will replicate specific areas and the cultures inspired by Northern California or as referenced, NorCal. Players who roleplay from here may take inspiration from areas like Bakersfield and Fresno where north/south lines converge. Both coasts have dissimilar cultures and this should be taken into consideration when roleplaying in or around either one. The driving distance between LS and these areas will be anywhere between 1.5-3 hours depending on time of day and traffic, so roleplay in accordance to this estimate. Law enforcement agents who receive calls or backup requests may bypass this rule. For this reason, the designated area will serve as LSRP's northern San Andreas aka NorSan. There would be no real distinction between the two if we were to remain entirely based on Southern California so instead, we created this compromise. To summarize: Los Santos, SA replaces Los Angeles, CA San Andreas, USA replaces California, USA Paleto Bay, Blaine County no replacement, loosely based on areas north of the Bay Area (doesn't go that far North, e.g towards Oregon) because of the environment/name i.e redwood forest and "Pelato Bay" (Pelican Bay State Prison) Grapeseed, Blaine County no replacement, loosely based on more 'central' northern areas like the Salinas Valley and other farming towns like this. Sandy Shores, Blaine County, no replacement, loosely based on Inland Empire area to the east/southeast of LA. It remains part of SoSan. San Fierro exists in name alone, it inhabits everything else from San Francisco Las Venturas exists in name alone, it inhabits everything else from Las Vegas Vice City does not exist Liberty City does not exist The Alamo Sea is the traditional north/south diving line. If you're south of it, you're in SoSan. If you're north of it, you're in NorSan. The two communities on either side (Sandy Shores and Grapeseed) can therefore be considered both 'central' and 'north/south' respectively, depending on context, as the communities around Bakersfield, Fresno etc. are irl. Blaine County will represent California's Kern County (Bakersfield area). Sandy Shores, Paleto Bay and Grapeseed are all within Blaine County. Blaine County is a central area which can be considered both northern San Andreas and Southern Andreas, depending on where you are within it. E.g. Sandy Shores is considered more southern, Paleto Bay is considered northern. Los Santos County will replace Los Angeles County Los Santos Police Department The Los Santos Police Department draws heavy inspiration from the Los Angeles Police Department and will replace it in principle. In order to strike a balance between the game and real-life, the faction applies small fictional elements in some aspects of its organization in order to ensure that progression within the faction, as well as work delegation, is done properly. Nonetheless, all procedures and inner workings of the faction's role-play are drawn from the Los Angeles Police Department. The faction's manual and procedures are a direct port, that received small adjustments here and there, from the Los Angeles Police Department in order to ensure that the faction portrays its counterpart to the fullest extent. Unless an individual is specifically knowledgeable about the LAPD, they will not be able to notice the difference between the LSPD and the LAPD, which the faction aims to portray to the fullest extent. It is also worth mentioning that the faction's fleet similarly represents the LAPD, as well as the uniform standard. Our vehicles and uniforms are also restricted based on what the LAPD does. The faction furthermore enforces an age policy in order to ensure realistic character progression. In order to make this more clear to the regular player and aspiring faction members, LSPD = LAPD. Sports Teams - LA = LS Real life sports teams will be acknowledged with the replacement of LA for LS. For example, LS Rams replaces LA rams. LS Lakers replaces LA Lakers and the Los Santos Dodgers replaces the Los Angeles Dodgers. Because of this, players will have the ability to root for their native teams. Modded sportswear with the real-life equivalent names are allowed but when speaking, writing or wagering on your team, it must be substituted with its lore-friendly name. Everything from the fonts to colouring will remain the same. Additionally, you may also pluralize them as a compromise. Namely "the Rams," or "the Lakers" or "the Dodgers." Clothing and Body Art Real life clothing can be roleplayed in addition to what is made available by the script and modding team. However, if it is personal modifications, players and law enforcement personnel may describe and identify you based on what is noticeable and available to them. This applies to both clothing and body art, anything that substitutes something for something else. Additionally, the modded replacement must be listed in your character description e.g a MC-affiliated vest or "kutte" replacing a vanilla version of it. Anything that doesn't go without saying must be listed for immersive purposes. Weapons, Ammunition and Attachments Our weapon and ammunition portrayal will be dictated by script, where developers have worked tirelessly to implement a system based on San Andreas' real-life equivalent. Whatever they are named and modelled after is what they will be roleplayed as with no exceptions. Damage from weapon, ammunition and attachments will be taken into account when roleplaying injuries or declaring deaths in accordance to realism. Vehicles Vehicles remain in their original GTA V form and replace their real-life equivalents. To name a few of the more common vehicles, the Ubermacht replaces BMW, Obey replaces Audi, certain Benefactor models replace certain Mercedes models so on so fourth. An official guide will be posted in the correct section where players can draw inspiration from. Vehicles driven by players must suit their character's ambition, situation and financial circumstance and must make sense for their individual characters. For instance, if your character owns a variant of the Benefactor, it makes no sense to go on robberies or sprees in it, especially if registered to you. Brands and GTA franchises A lot of GTA's branding and franchises are modelled around real life. For example, Tim Vapid is Tom Ford, Sebastian Dix is Christian Dior, Blagueurs is Balenciaga/Vetements, Anna Rex is Calvin Klein and Sand Castle is Stone Island. As a result, these brands will be considered bootlegged versions of their real life equivalents unless there is no available substitute. If there is no available clothing to replicate their equivalent, it may be addressed via description so that players have the opportunity to examine and acknowledge it. Food chains such as Cluckin Bell, Taco Bomb and Hookies are all also considered low-end and domestic fast food chains and can be acknowledged if necessary. Factions based on single player organizations are disallowed. Special thanks to: largehazard aka Liam Mac LSPD Leadership, Benavides Faction Team Kane for allowing us to take this to the public domain The public and xander11 for bringing it to attention in the first place All contributions from the original poll Again, there is room for improvement. This is still highly a work in progress and isn't official. This is a proposal on behalf of us, the public in sync with the Faction Team.

  15. 415 KUMI Nation and its history: 415 Kumi Nation was formed in the mid 80's by members of the Black Guerilla Family, a well established African American prison gang. Prior to it's creation, the founding members became unsatisfied with Black Guerilla Family's leadership, splitting from the ground and forming KUMI or K.A.N.O (KUMI AFRICAN NATION ORGANIZATION). This led to a couple of discrepancies between the two groups, but in the end they stand united. 415 Kumi has had alliances with both Blood and Crips leading up to Stanley Tookie Williams III's execution.. Stanley was known to be the founder of Crips and was known to have left that life behind as he was serving his time in San Quentin State Prison. He was executed by lethal injection six days before his 52nd birthday. Stanley has published books and spoke to the media about his reformed lifestyle. He had no violations at the time of his death. 415 is the area code for parts of California's Bay area. They began using the Swahili word "KUMI" (Koo-me) meaning "10" (the sum of 415 is 10.) Since the creation of KUMI, they have grown in numbers. There are documented KUMI members in every Prison within California. 415 Kumi Nation only recruited black inmates from California's Bay Area, but now recruits from Black gangs all over California. One of the most popular tattoos among members of Kumi 415 depicts a yero, or African Warrior, rising up out of an outline of the continent of Africa. In his left hand he holds a machine gun, and in his right he holds a flag bearing the numbers 415. These images reflect the African orientation of both the Black Guerrilla Family and the Kumi African Nation Organization, which both encourage their members to learn Mau Mau history and words drawn from the Swahili language, which they use to communicate with each other in ways that will not be accessible to outsiders. The bond between Kumi and Black Guerilla Family is known to have had problems in the past, but recently 415 Kumi Nation held recruitment pools for Black Guerrilla Family. The gang has been reported to use prison guards to authorize violence against fellow inmates, such as the case in August of 2003 when former correctional officer Leon Holston was charged with aiding and abetting, battery with serious bodily injury, filing a false report by a peace officer and unlawful communication with a prisoner. Cards: In the early 70's, most Crip gangs were allied & striving together making their main opponent the Bloods, which was until the late 70's when a fight broke out with a member from the Rollin 60s and a member from the Eight Tray Gangsters. The fist fight was nothing serious at first being that the 60s & ETGs were close at the time, but the Eight Tray Gangster Crip member had other plans; he pulled out a .9mm firearm and discharged it at the 60s member. Various Rollin 60s members drove into ETG territory asking them to give up the shooter; the ETG member recently hood-hopped so the ETGs were unfamiliar with his face, the 60s took it as they were trying to hide the shooter to protect him, this caused the ETGs and 60s to establish a large feud. This feud being the longest & most vicious Crip-on-Crip war that's still on-going till this day. The feud caused every Crip gang on the Westside to choose a side being the 2x Crips (Deuces/Neighborhood Crips) or 3x (Trays/Gangster Crips) which sparked and established various other Crip-on-Crip feuds in LS. • The 2X/Neighborhood Crips: The 2X Crips (Deuces) are a long-standing Crip card that's represented by dozens of Crip gangs, being they're 2X Crips they beef with the majority of 3X Crip gangs (Trays) aside from the 4 Pacc Gangster Crips located on the E/S (Aka Low Bottoms). Active Crips who fall under the 2X Crips are, Neighborhood Crips/Rollers (All sets, 20's-100's), West Boulevard Crips, East Coast Blocc Crips, Shoreline Crips, West Coast Crips (Long Beach) Blocc Crips & a handful of others. • The 3X/Gangster Crips: The 3X Crips (Trays) are a long-standing Crip card that's represented by dozens of Crip gangs, being they're 3X Crips they beef with the majority of 2X Crip gangs (Deuces). Active Crip gangs that fall under the 3X Crip Card are, Eight Tray Gangster Crips, Playboy Gangster Crips, Insane Crip Gang (Long Beach), Avalon Gangster Crips, Hoover Gangster Crips, etc. The Gangster Crips are the most spread out Crip card having various Gangster Crip sets throughout all of the US. • The 4X Crips: The 4X Crip card is a less popular Crip card, the 4X Crip Card is oriented outside of LS in places like Long Beach, etc. The 4X Crips have no direct enemies that target the 4X card specifically, every gang under the 4X Crip card has their own politics. The most popular Crip gang under the 4X card are the Blacc Bandit Crips located on the East Side of Long Beach. • The Mafia Crips: The Mafia Crips is another large card consisting of several notorious individual street gangs, that originated throughout South Los Angeles(South Central). The Mafia Crips can be found in different regions such as South Central, Rancho, and Long Beach. One of the most notorious Mafia Crip gangs are The Main Street Mafia Crips in South Central. • The Hub & Dub: The Hub and Dub card is a close alliance made up from the Carson Crips and West Rancho Crips that dates back to the 1980's. It was formed for gangs under that card to fight along side each other against their rival enemies in the Los Angeles County Jails. Some gangs that fall under The Hub & Dub card are Santana Blocc Carson Crips, Poccet Hood Carson Crips, Atlantic Drive Carson Crips, and the Grape Street Rancho Crips. African-American gang members typically retain their outside gang affiliations once admitted into a correctional facility, and associate themselves with one of the various black prison cards. In Modern day, the 'Black Car' doesn't operate like a militaristic prison group such as the Black Guerilla Family, but instead refers to a system of street-gang cards, which have their own card-to-card politics and rivalries. Each card has their own shot caller which dictates to the street gangs under it, and upon incarceration, members of African-American street gangs typically align with one of the Crip cards, or other various cards. • The Bloods: The Bloods card is a bit more complicated and differentiates from the Crip politics, when a Damu hits TTCF they're to choose Kutt or No Kutt meaning if they choose Kuttz they'll have to go under the United Blood Nation (UBN) and drop their original set they were banging outside of TTCF which is heavily frowned upon by other Damu's. If a Damu goes with No Kutt they'll continue to bang the set they've always banged (Piru, Blood, Black P. Stone, etc.) • The Groove-Line: The Groove-line card also known as the Hoover card is a card dedicated to the Hoover Criminal Gang, a large African-American street gang oriented in South Los Angeles. This being the Hoover Criminal Gang dropped from their Crip identity pushing the term EBK (Everybody Killer) therefore they claim cK (Crip Killer) & bK (Blood Killer) although they're friendly to various 3x Gangster Crip sets. OOC Information: This faction will be of prison roleplay in the Bolingbroke Correctional Facility, all recruitment is done strictly in character and to join we recommend you align with one of the various African-American street gangs on the server to join. We reserve our right to select the members that take part in this project. In order to be accepted into the faction, you need to showcase your knowledge on real life Los Angeles jail politics and your roleplay capabilities. We focus heavily on activity, so a very easy way of being integrated is to be active and to accept constructive criticism if needed from the faction's leaders. Any member that wishes to be apart of The Black Car has to join our discord and give his CK permissions to the Leaders and High Council of the faction. Any groups that wish to fall under The Black Car also reserve the CK permission of their faction members to the card leaders under The Black Car. Any questions or concerns or if you wanna ask questions, you can feel free to message: @[email protected]@MCLogg Credits: @[email protected] @The Hood Gave Me [email protected]

  16. Hey everyone, Hope everyone's doing well and getting ready for the holiday season. December was always special around LS-RP, I remember all the treasure hunts and winter/Christmas events we used to hold. I'm looking forward to seeing something like that in-game again as we celebrate the season... next year. It's been quite challenging over the last few months to keep track of the remaining work. Trying to keep tabs on all the features in my brain has proven quite inefficient, so instead of trying to remember what I'm supposed to be doing and which features are left to develop or test, we made a list. This list itemized every single outstanding feature or activity we've yet to complete before the server is launch-ready. As I was compiling this list a few weeks ago I realized that even that isn't enough. Really, is the trucking system the same as a phone call? Much different; so we started adding estimates to everything. 4 hours to finish phone calls, 16 hours to finish trucking, 2 hours here 4 there and so on. I've done estimations on an enterprise level in the past and it's a known secret that at the start of the project, unless you have a thorough specification, they're just made up numbers. Nobody knows and everyone's guess is meaningless, you're just working in a ballpark. Since we're nearing the end of the initial development, we're in a different position and it's much easier for us to list out all the things we've yet to do. So we've done that, and estimated how much it'll take. Based on these numbers, we realized that we've underestimated the amount of work remaining when we scheduled the release for Q4 2021. With the rest of the leadership, we were facing the following options: Option 1: Release in Q4 2021. We release in Q4 2021, as late as possible, but still meet the deadline. This gives us the pros of keeping up on our promise and taking advantage of the hype the LS-RP project currently has. The downside of this option is that we'd be releasing a game mode without a lot of important features and with a lot of potential bugs, since we'd have to be adding new features all the way to the launch date. Lacking features and bugs will result in a disappointed community and a potential loss of players. Option 2: Postpone the release for the 2nd time. We delay the release a bit. This allows us to work on features we deem essential but didn't manage to complete just yet. We have enough time to properly test these features (shoutout to our staff by the way - you've done amazing job testing so far). The dreaded disadvantage of going with this option is that we won't deliver on our promise that we'd release Q4, which can lead to the community being disappointed, leading to a potential loss of players. Which one would you choose? Let me know. Since we started deliberating postponing again, I had to go back and read my statement when we had to postpone to Q4. Here's a quote from that post: As I'm reading that I realize that we're in the very same situation now - how come though? Did nothing change since September? There's been no major inactivity for any of the devs or leads, or any "major roadblocks" I could think of that'd cause this delay. I tried to identify the reasons why we're delaying again and this is what I got: - We underestimated the amount of work remaining. The estimate that we should be done by Q4 was not backed by any real numbers, but rather a "gut feeling". - We've added new things to the scope for release. Those things were usually features which we deemed essential but forgot about them early on; or were only made aware of them now. - We spent a lot of time focusing on detail and polish of existing features. - Personal and professional obligations of the team, although this one was kept to a surprising minimum during Q4. After hours of deliberation, we chose option 2. We've taken several steps to make sure this is the last date we give you. We wanted to work towards a concrete date instead of a vague time range ("summer", "q4"). - As mentioned previously, we made an itemized of all remaining features and activities until we're release-ready. - We've added a estimate in hours to every remaining item or activity. - We're accounting for a % of risk dedicated to fixing bugs and unforeseen difficulties. This risk is currently set to 10%. - We've created metrics to monitor whether we're ahead of, or behind schedule. This allows us to play with the scope and reevaluate our current assignments if we're falling behind schedule. Based on these steps and metrics, we came up with the official release date of LS-RP:V on February 24th, 2022. Community Involvement With the release being postponed by just a bit over month and a half, we're looking for ways to keep the community engaged with what we're doing. Here's some milestones you can look forward to in the near future: - Character Customization made available ahead of launch, first for Patrons and later for the general public. - Character Applications made available ahead of launch to the general public. - Staff Reinstatements opening ahead to get ready for launch. The concrete dates of each will be announced separately at one point or another; but we're aiming to release the character customization server this week. There's a few more things we've up our sleeves to keep the community engaged, but I don't want to announce them just yet as they're not as thought through as the rest. If you have any ideas yourself, my inbox is always open. Progress Update I'll try to include a progress update where it makes sense when I write these posts. This should give you the idea of where we are in terms of the schedule and how much work is remaining in different parts of the code. Here's the current status: I've been on a mission to be as transparent as reasonably possible during the development of LS-RP:V. I had a lot to learn from the SA-MP days and I sincerely hope that the information we give you is keeping you excited during the wait; whether it's snippets, blog posts or just random talks on Discord. It's hard at times as we don't want to give away too much for several reasons. Sharing this progress update is yet another step in trying to balance out communication, element of surprise and competitive advantage. Closing Statement I understand any and all feelings of frustration at the announcement today. It's not fun news, but at the same time it's good news. It allows us to work on delivering what we've initially set out to make. I'd like to express my gratitude to the entire staff team who has been actively engaging in improving the server's features and standing behind the project the whole time; to the patrons who keep our infrastructure bills on time and to the community for believing in the project. Thank you for being understanding. If you'd like to be closer to the action, consider joining our discord at https://discord.gg/ls-rp, where we post snippets of our work. Kind regards and happy holiday season, Mmartin on behalf of LS-RP Staff

  18. Nutty Blocc Carson Crip1 The Nutty Blocc Carson Crips (NBCC) are an active street gang under a large umbrella, known as the Carson Crips or C.C Ridaz. C.C Riders (Carson Crip Riders) pronounced CC Ridas, and often spelled with a Z (CC Ridaz). The term CC Riders was discovered by Fredrick ❝Baby Gangster❞ Dre, who is affiliated with the Santana Blocc Carson Crips. Along with their fellow comrade Big No Good from Nutty Blocc Carson Crip, together they formed CC Riders in the Los Santos County Jail, in 1986. Which, consisted of an alliance between all Crip gangs, who falls under the Carson Crips brand. The Carson Crips shared a close alliance with the Crip sets in the Rancho area of South Los Santos, and decided to push a line of the Nutty Blocc Carson Crip in their territory. This alliance is known as the ❝Gloccs & ARs❞ and dates back to the 1980s, according to Los Santos Police Department. Glocc is another name for Carson (Glocc City) and the AR is a reference to the ❝R❞ in Rancho. Gangs under the alliance fought side by side against larger rival gangs on the Carson Avenue stretch and in the Los Santos County Jail. ORIGINS2 Nutty Blocc Carson Crip (NBCC) originated on the West Side of Davis, Los Santos that operates in Carson Avenue, Davis. Their neighborhood runs from Carson Avenue to Rancho between S/W Jamestown Street and S/E Roy Lowenstein Boulevard. They are west of the ATF Gangs and east of the Lantana Blocc Carson Crips. Members are known to sport ❝New York Yankees❞ article of clothing, or Apparel with the letters of ❝NY❞ which represent ❝Nutty❞. Their main cliques consist of the 166 We Don't Care Crips or Careless Nutty Crip, 165 Hardline Nutty Crip and Grandee Eyebuster Nutty Crip, on S/E Roy Lowenstein and S/W Jamestown Street. Their documented hangout is the Grandee Motel, which is located on the intersection of Grandee Ave and Roy Lowenstein, inside their territory. The Nutty Blocc Crips was featured on Rep Yo Set (compilation album/DVD), which is a project by Gangstaholic Records. The Nutty Blocc Crips received national notability when BG Stomp Out & Gangsta Laced Ya (half-brothers), both affiliated with the Nutty Blocc Carson Crips debuted on Eazy-E single ❝Real Muthaphukkin G's❞ in 1993. In 1995, B.G Stomp Out and Laced Ya released their debut album Real Brothas, which spawned three singles 50/50 Luv, Jealousy, and D.P.G./K. However, BG Stomp Out was sentenced to 20 to 22 years in prison for attempted murder in 1998. He was later released on parole in the early 2010s and is currently reaching out to his neighborhood through fundraisers to battle poverty, drugs, metal health, and domestic violence. 166 WE DON'T CARE CRIP GANG The 166 We Don't Care Crips or 166 Careless Nutty Crip Gang is a clique started by Leroy ❝O.B.G Hardlucc Da General❞ Howse and his right-hand Donavon ❝Baby No Good❞ Waters who is the younger brother of Dedrick ❝Big No Good❞ Waters, an reputable Original Crip of the Nutty Blocc Carson Crips. They originated on the back street of S/W Jamestown Street after seeing a steady growth of new members in the set. Big No Good gave the orders to Hardlucc to push a line on Jamestown Street to help the 165 Hardline Nutty Crips (another clique in the area) combat nearby rival gangs of the Grandee Motel on the intersection of Grandee Avenue and Roy Lowenstein. Most new members of the street gang who have became known new members of the street gang who have became known to the police through surveillance and arrests are between the ages of 16 and 20. This was a statistic recorded in the 2000s as the street gang, unlike many others within the neighborhood, seems to have a higher interest in recruiting young men and young women who are in their late teens and early 20s rather than youths who are still in childhood or early adolescence. It stands to reason that the street gang, through recruiting this relatively older age cohort, are looking for more experienced and hardened criminals to join their ranks to protect its reputation and territory. 166 WDCC is very territorial as they are known to patrol the outer skirts of their neighborhood. They live up to their reputation of being one of the most if not dangerous cliques of the Nutty Blocc Carson Crips. A good example would be the death of Floyd ❝YG Trauma❞ Williams, a reputable West Side Piru gang member after coming across Baby No Good at the Carson Car Wash located near 100 Block of Carson Avenue. Baby No Good or Donavon Waters frequents this car wash as it is near the heart of the Nutty Blocc Carson Crip territory. Sometime in early May, they crossed paths. Williams was not aware of Waters presence but was approached by him where words was exchanged ending in a foot chase by Williams. The next time Williams saw Waters was on May 4, 2014. Williams was at the Grandee Motel in Los Santos, where he lived at the time. William's youngest son, Vince (who was five years old), and Vince's mother, Taesha Wright, had been visiting, and Williams was walking them to Wright's car in the parking lot. As they were walking, Williams noticed someone walking toward him from his blind side. He turned and looked, and saw it was Waters. Waters wife's family was also staying at the Grandee Motel. Remembering the confrontation at the car wash, Williams thought there might be trouble, and his main concern was to get his family into the car for safety. As he was putting Vince into his car seat in the back seat of the car, he noticed that Waters had stopped at a diagonal from him. Once Vince was in the car, Williams took off his shirt, getting ready to fight. He and Waters exchanged words -- saying things like ❝What's up?❞ or ❝What's happening? What is going on? What's the deal?❞ -- and Williams started to approach. Waters pulled a gun out of a bag he was carrying and pointed it at Williams. Williams put his hands up and asked Waters if he was going to shoot him in front of his family. Williams then said, ❝Let's get down. Put the gun down.❞ Waters responded, ❝On Nutty Crip, we ain't going to do too much talking,❞ and he started shooting, holding the gun straight out, toward Williams. Waters was about 22 feet away from Williams when he started shooting. Williams was pronounced dead at the scene and was left with multiple gun shot wounds to his facial area leaving him almost unrecognizable by family and friends. The next morning, seventeen members of the Nutty Blocc Carson Crip were arrested for federal racketeering charges. This case tied the murder of Floyd Williams to Donovan Waters where he was tried and sentenced to life without parole on a quarter million dollar bond. This gave an opportunity for the clique to operate for funds to help Waters regain his freedom. Those crimes conclude extortion, murder, kidnappings, drug trafficking, and several other venues that would help the gang bring in assets. They are routinely active and organized, terrorizing their neighborhood and rival gangs who get in their way. THE GRANDEES The Nutty Blocc Crips are one of the oldest street gangs in Carson Avenue, Davis. They originally referred to themselves as the Grandee Boys in reference to a local motel and housing project next to it known as ❝the Grandees.❞ The Grandee Boys later joined the Crip gang organization under the auspices of Stanley ❝Tookie" Williams❞, and became known as the 165th or 166th Blocc Crips. They later changed their name to the ❝Nutty Blocc❞ Crip gang to signify they were the craziest gang in Carson, Davis. Crip gang members spell the word ❝Block❞ as ❝Blocc❞ because in gang culture ❝[w]riting CK means Crip Killer.❞ The Nutty Blocc Crip gang consists of different sets or cliques based largely on age. At the top, and the most powerful, are Original Gangsters. Next in line are Original Baby Gangsters, followed by Baby Gangsters, Original Tiny Gangsters and then Tiny Gangsters. Herbert Charles Miller (❝Hen❞ or ❝Baby Hen❞), Javone Lamar Brown (❝Bam❞) and Jeffrey McLeod (❝J-Smash❞) all belong to the Nutty Blocc Crips who are the main enforcers of the gang on the Westside of Nutty Blocc since the set is largely controlled by different people such as Isaac ❝Big Evil❞ Gaston. Brown and Miller were Baby Gangsters; McLeod was either an Original Tiny Gangster or a Tiny Gangster. Isaac ❝Big Evil❞ Gaston, Champagne Gaston, Izell Gaston, Frank Gaston and Keon Easley were all siblings who lived together in an apartment in Davis, San Andreas, apartment G. The apartment was a two-story unit with a fenced and gated patio. Directly inside the front door was a living room area. An internal staircase to the second floor was on the far wall across from the front door. A small bathroom was located in the far corner, near the staircase. The apartment complex was in the territory of the Nutty Blocc Crip gang. Ike was a member of the gang. Izell, Champagne, Frank and Keon were all affiliated with the gang. To avoid confusion, the siblings will be referred to by their first names. Harris, Dunn and Grissett were all members of the Nutty Blocc gang. Champagne had known Harris and Grissett 4 since childhood. Harris's moniker was Ju-Ju; Grissett's moniker was Chop-Chop.* Champagne was also close with Jazzmine Harris, a blood relative of Harris. Izell had also known Dunn for about 10 years; Dunn's moniker was ❝Mike Dog.❞ B.1 The Shooting On March 9, 2014, Champagne threw a party with Harris at the Gaston family apartment to celebrate the birthday of a friend of Harris, pay off bills, and raise money for the Gaston family to move. Over 100 people attended the party, including members of the Nutty Blocc and Santana Blocc gangs. Many of the Gaston siblings were present, including Ike, Izell, Frank and Keon. Many of Harris's relatives and friends attended, including his brothers Darryl, Derrell, Darnell, sisters Darnesha and Samiaa, a cousin, and friends Rita Richardson and Jazmin Lopez. The party was disrupted when Grissett started scaring people by stating he was going to shoot up the party. Champagne told him to stop. Later, Grissett began disparaging other gangs saying ❝f[uck] different gangs,❞ ❝f[uck] Fronthood❞ and Santana ❝6 gangs. At this point, Champagne told Grissett she was cancelling the party and she began yelling ❝the party's over,❞ ❝everybody … go home.❞ She told Harris she was shutting down the party. Harris told Champagne they were ❝going to shut down nothing,❞ and told Ike ❝you better tell [Champagne] she ain't shutting down nothing.❞ The People's gang expert testified that the Fronthood and Santana gangs were not Nutty Blocc's enemies. The verbal dispute escalated into a series of physical altercations, culminating in a gun battle. The first physical confrontation occurred at the apartment's gated patio. When Harris blocked Champagne's entry through the patio gate, she pushed him to enter. Then, as Champagne went into the apartment, Harris and Ike began fighting on the patio. Harris threw the first punch at Ike and missed; Ike then punched Harris, knocking Harris to the ground. The fight turned into a melee, with five to six Nutty Blocc affiliates, including Grissett, joining the attack on Ike. Grissett escalated the fight by swinging a knife, stabbing Ike. Frank attempted to defend his brother Ike by pushing the attackers away. After the fight on the outside patio, Ike was woozy, stumbling and bleeding heavily from his head. His brothers and cousins carried him into the apartment. The second physical confrontation ensued inside the apartment. Harris challenged Ike to fight again by stating ❝you got to catch my fade again.❞ Harris accused Ike of stabbing him, and lifted his arm to show a bleeding cut. For the first time in the incident, a gun appeared. In his hand, Ike held a gun pointing up, and he began waving it in a circular motion. Keon tried, without success, to take the gun away from Ike; Champagne ran up the stairs and called the po- lice. After the verbal challenge, another physical fight broke out in the living room involving Harris, his brothers and Grissett, battling Ike's brothers Izell and Keon. Grissett again swung a knife, cutting Izell above his right elbow. Izell and Frank were able to push Ike halfway up the internal staircase, away from the fight. Ike was bleeding profusely and semi-conscious. Frank forced some of the partygoers out of the apartment, including Harris and Grissett, and locked the door. Keon recalled seeing Ike holding a .44-caliber revolver before Ike was carried to the stairs and before Harris and Grissett came inside. Keon later testified that he only noticed the gun in Ike's hand when Ike was on the stairs. The quarrel did not end. Dunn, another Nutty Blocc gang member, joined the conflict for the first time. When Dunn yelled from outside the apartment, ❝Jazzmine, open the door, [bitch],❞ Jazzmine [Harris's relative] opened the door. Dunn and then Harris entered and each fired multiple shots, Dunn shooting first, towards the staircase bearing Ike and his siblings Izell, Champagne, Keon and Frank. None of the siblings shot back. Ike was shot in the chest and front shoulder; the chest shot was fatal. C. The Investigation The night of the shooting, witnesses and bystanders were uncooperative with law enforcement. Ike's family members did not immediately tell law enforcement what they knew about the shooting because they did not want to be snitches or were scared for their lives. Indeed, Keon talked to the police at the hospital after the shooting but lied about his name and birthday because he was nervous and scared. That same night, Izell went with the police to the station but did not cooperate or identify the shooters because the shooters were active gang members and he thought he and his family could get hurt. Forensic evidence suggested a ❝gun battle.❞ The ballistic evidence was consistent with two people standing at or near the front door of apartment G, shooting into the apartment, one shooting a nine-millimeter handgun, the other a 32-caliber handgun.9 Additional spent casing, bullet and bullet fragments found on the patio outside the fence suggested that someone shot a nine-millimeter handgun from the walkway towards apartment G.10 The evidence was also consistent with another ❝9 shooter firing a revolver from inside the apartment from an area near the front bathroom, using a cabinet as cover and firing towards the front door. Finally, a bag of .44-caliber Smith & Wesson Special live rounds, and a single live round were found at the bottom of the stais, and a holster for a large frame revolver was found in the upstairs bedroom. Blood was found on the patio, inside the apartment near the front door, on the landing area, on the stair railing, on the wall coming down the stairs, the upstairs hallway, and in the living room; the highest concentration of blood was on the stairs. Ballistic evidence was found around and inside the apartment. One .32-caliber shell casing stamped C.B. C. was located in front of the front door across from apartment G, two more .32-caliber C.B. C. shell casings were just inside the front door, and two 9-millimeter R. P. shell casings were in the apartment, one under the front door. Ballistic evidence was found outside apartment G. A spent nine-millimeter R. P. casing was located on the sidewall in front of a nearby apartment; impact marks suggested that the shooter had been standing near the casing, and was firing towards apartment G. Another spent projectile that had struck the sidewalk suggested an additional bullet travelling towards apartment G. A bullet lodged in a fence surrounding the patio, suggested another bullet travelling towards apart Ballistic evidence was found outside apartment G. A spent nine-millimeter R.P. casing was located on the sidewalk in front of a nearby apartment; impact marks suggested that the shooter had been standing near the casing, and was firing towards apartment G. Another spent projectile that had struck the sidewalk suggested an additional bullet travelling towards apartment G. A bullet lodged in a fence surrounding the patio, suggested another bullet travelling towards apartment G. Three additional bullet strikes and three holes in the fence suggested at least three more bullets fired towards apartment G. No casings were recovered, suggesting a revolver. The ballistic evidence of strikes to the curio cabinet and a bullet hole in the television suggested at least two shots. The criminalist that examined the ballistic evidence from the crime scene and the bullet recovered from Ike's body opined that all three 9-milllimeter casings marked R.P., were Remington Peters brand, and had been fired from the same firearm; all three .32-caliber cartridge cases stamped C. B.C., were Magtech brand, and had been fired from a second gun; the bullet fragments recovered from the exterior crime scene were all nine-millimeter luger caliber, and had been fired from the same gun (although he could not determine whether that was the same gun that had fired the nine-millimeter bullets or the gun that had fired the .32-caliber bullets). The bullet extracted from Ike's body was a .32-caliber bullet. Harris was arrested on March 31, 2014 at an apartment in Davis, and Grissett was later arrested on June 5, 2014 at same location. On June 5, the police recovered a box of ammunition stamped ❝R.P.❞ and Grissett's identification at that apartment. When Dunn was arrested on June 5, police seized gang-related items, namely, a hat, jacket and shirt bearing the Yankees insignia, and a phone book with gang monikers. 110 D. Gang Evidence Los Santos County Sheriff's Detective Scott Lawler testified as a gang expert, and described the Nutty Blocc Crips as a gang with 230-240 members, engaged in gun possession, shootings, narcotics sales, and witness intimidation. Their common color is blue and they identify themselves with New York Yankees merchandise, and the letters ❝NY,❞. Point of interest(s) Documented Gang Map E-89012344492— South Los Santos, San Andreas (Crip Formation) 1. The 166 Block (S/E Jamestown Street) and the 165 Block (S/W Lowenstein Boulevard) are close communities intertwined with each other. However, both communities frequent Jamestown Street due to community leader/activist Uncle Pops starting a store in the area called ❝Pop's Soul Food Delight❞ that brought its community together back in 1974 due to its table stands and hang out areas for the youth. 2. Turned into the Kelly Park Hustlers in the 1980s and turned Crip after constant beef with a modern day blood gang known as the West Side Pirus. There is a hierarchy of gang members. Dunn is a high-ranking Nutty Blocc member, alongside Isaac ❝Big Evil❞ Gaston; Harris and Grissett are members. Harris also admitted to another deputy on April 13, 2013 that he was a member of the Nutty Blocc gang with a moniker of Ju-Ju. Fear and respect are important concepts in gang culture. Gangs must be feared by rival gang members and instill fear in the community to operate as a gang. If a gang member is disrespected, this would be seen as weakness, thus a disrespected gang member would be expected to retaliate in a more aggressive manner: if ❝he was slapped, he'd have to punch; if he was punched, he'd have to stab; if he was stabbed, he'd have to shoot.❞ Shooting and killing someone who disrespected a gang member would be considered ❝putting in work for the gang❞ and would earn respect among fellow gang members. A shooting of a fellow gang member who had acted disrespectfully would benefit the individual shooter by raising his status within the gang by creating fear and respect, and would benefit the gang by instilling fear and respect by enemy gangs, recruiting youths to the gang, and facilitating the expansion of the gang's territory. 19. Hi all, As most of you are aware, the Faction Team has been working hard on establishing the core illegal script systems along with guidelines and rules surrounding illegal roleplay. This blog post will provide an update on what the Faction Team has been working on, along with how the illegal roleplay scene will play out when we launch the server. Faction Tier System The Faction Team has re-developed the faction tier system and this will provide factions with specific perks and rewards as they move through the tiers towards official. A lot of brainstorming has gone into this system and is based off issues we encountered during the SA-MP server. Unofficial (eligible to apply for any scheme after 1 month of being open) Verified (attained after being open for 3 months and having a successful application) Official (determined after a minimum of 3 months whilst being Verified) Drug Scheme The Faction Team has decided on taking a completely new approach to the Drug System/Scheme and have suggested that instead of giving drugs directly to the players, we will provide them with both the utilities and ingredients needed to manufacture the drugs. Players can still receive drugs from Faction Team in cases that certain drugs aren't able to be manufactured currently. You may apply to join the Drug Scheme once you have been open for 1 month. Weapon Scheme Unofficial Factions will be able to apply to the Weapon Scheme after 1 month of being open - applicants will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed admittance into the scheme. The amount of weapons and ammo given is something exclusive to members of the scheme and is based on faction size and status (unofficial, verified or official). The 1 month period will begin from the day the server launches and having a faction thread for more than a month pre-launch doesn't make you eligible. Join a Scheme Pre-Launch In order to have an effective drug and weapon system in place from day 1 on the server. We're looking to introduce some members to these schemes pre-launch. This means you won't have to wait the original month (stated above) but you'll be required to have exceptional illegal roleplay experience and a good-standing history in the community to reserve yourself a spot. Requirements for the pre-launch scheme: Only factions will be able to apply. You must have a minimum of 10 faction members. Must be the leader of the faction that is applying. Must have experience in/around illegal factions. Must have a good standing in the community The Weapon & Drug Scheme will be open for applications from the time of this blog post (22nd January 2022). Applications will close on the 24th February 2022. You can apply to join the pre-launch scheme by following this link. Thanks for reading, Baker

  20. Hey everyone, Today we're releasing our penal and vehicle code. We decided instead of recycling from SAMP, we would rewrite it from scratch. We took some guidance from the SAMP penal code to get a gist of how to write it, but for the most part, it's a fresh one. We looked to the California penal code for inspiration and some charges are named and indexed from it. Our goal for this penal code was to make it as clear as possible so that both illegal and legal roleplayers would be able to comprehend it without issue. Lets talk about prison time: We decided that, for now, we're going to be sticking with an hour/minute based time system for sentencing. This is a hot topic and a lot of people have differing opinions but we feel this is the best way to go for the time being. Our goal in the future is to adapt to a court system and base sentencing and time off of that. It's a whole discussion and it's still being brainstormed but I hope to have something to show there after launch. Some charges aren't in the right title? You may see, for example, 211. Robbery inside Title 1 and wonder why it's there when it doesn't follow the numbering at all. Well, this is one of the ways we looked to California for inspiration. Everyone understands when they hear "187" that it's Murder. "211" is Robbery. For these common charges, we decided to number them based off of California and how everyone knows them by. Note about infractions: Infraction penalty dollar amount will be filled in at a later day before launch. Credits to @kendrick for research and writing, @Kane for co-writing and everyone who was able to provide us with feedback. San Andreas Vehicle Code - VEH San Andreas Penal Code - PEN [Discussions / Questions] San Andreas Penal Code Please use the Q&A topic for any questions and concerns you may have! This may be subject to change. Some time after launch, it'll be officially finalized. We want to make sure it's as perfect as it can be. If anyone notices any discrepancies, issues, flaws, etc, give us a shout so we can fix it! Regards, Kane

  21. Hello, As I mentioned on Discord already, due to reasons out of our control we are unable to release on the 24th as originally planned. This is due to real life circumstances and an attempted break-in into my apartment because of which I had to spend the last week and some change making sure my family and I are safe. Although I've gotten some of my time back to focus on the finalizing work I would've been doing, I'm still not 100% back and won't be for the next few days as it's an evolving situation & ongoing police investigation. Can't say this pleases me, since we were going to be able to make it on the 24th but shit happens. Server will come out very soon. We'll post 24 hours in advance once we're ready so you can adjust your schedule. During the time I've been dealing with this mess, the rest of the team was hard at work getting what they can ready & tested. Huge shout-out dev team, leads & the entire staff team. Shoutout to our Discord too which is growing RAPIDLY - love to see all the activity there. You'll see things rolling out this week, such as faction threads being open, new features on the UCP, & other parts of the server before the game server itself opens. Thank you for understanding & your continued support — appreciate you all. It'll be worth it in the long run and I know you know. - Martin

  22. Some great ideas here and I'm happy that all things cultural (arts, music, etc.) are getting the attention and are not being ignored. I personally am really interested in all things music, so the mentioned support for musicians/bands/artists would be tight and a good thing to know if, for starters, one would like to form a band. I hope I'm not alone on this. Speaking of suggestions, it's gonna be pretty hectic at launch, with it's own set of priorities, so I'm not expecting much at the very beginning. Down the line, though, if things will pick up, I could see a whole music industry with venues hiring bands to perform and all things that come with it, to be a thing. If there's enough engagement, of course.

  23. Additionally, we're still looking at a middle ground for this "connection to the mainland" dilemma. Not that it should be as much as an issue as it is, but the vast majority of the server refuse to roleplay it as an island and wish for it to be a state linked to the rest of the United States. I'm not against disallowing factions or players who want to roleplay mainland connections without the need for a boat or plane. This is specifically harmful to motorcycle clubs, straw men and from a legal standpoint, trucking companies who want to broaden their horizon, even if hypothetical. It's nothing more than hypothesis and won't affect anyone, yet will add great depth, reach and justification to both factions and players. What needs to be understood is this "island" approach is a single player mindset. The water replaces what used to be "invisible walls," I assume to stop single players from piloting their planes in to them. I assume the reason is because they've shortened the map and there's no point in having landmass that's essentially unexplorable. However, had roleplay servers been considered, this unexplorable landmass would have been the basis for this exact argument. It would have gave us connection we're advocating for. Adopting single player mindsets goes against what it is to be a heavy roleplay server.

  24. Ah yeah fun! I RP'd on there for a while over lockdown on Argent Dawn. Co-ran a magic academy guild. Was great fun but interest died down once the world started opening up again. Also totally agree with Horde - I just fell out with their story at the end of BfA (hardcore Sylvanas simp). So moved over to Alliance, but have no real loyalties anywhere. I mean tbf I don't play at all any more, last raid I did was Castle Nathria. Anyways yesss welcome to LSRP and hmu if you want more geek WoW chat.

  25. Thanks man. I have been playing WoW since the classic. Most of this time was spent on PvE/PvP which almost always was on Horde, but I did RP on WoW for a fair amount of time which was pleasant apart from the random Goldshire trolls, and my RP characters were on the Alliance side. Generally tho, I love the Horde side, has more integrity. I still play on Kazzak (EU) realm and am going for Cutting Edge achievement with my guild.

  31. This is the strange disconnect that has been referred to here. A lot of us had very different experiences on LSRP. We started to roleplay San Andreas as a more-or-less exact replacement of California around 2016-2017. And we're surprised to learn people have different recollections.
    1 point
  32. Generally, I don't agree entirely with a wholesale replacement of California with San Andreas. It leaves very little scope for us to define our own history, and the LSPD and government agencies alike have their own history and policy that isn't 100% based on their real life equivalent. To scrap that all the way up to 2019 can be damaging to the factions. The weather system is based on California but exaggerated so that more extreme weathers like fog, snow, storms, etc are more common and the weather forecast is available ingame via the weather app on the phone. Weather & Temperature Weather App Most other things look good to me, though. Bordering Oregon and Nevada doesn't sit well with me because we have a very real coastline in San Andreas. How could you explain away the east or north coasts? How could we possibly hope to enforce a "San Fierro doesn't exist" rule, or Liberty City for that matter when so many people incorporate it into their roleplay and character? I don't think it should be officially mentioned but it certainly can't be banned. San Andreas has always been roleplayed as the 51st state, a small island state in the Pacific Ocean. I see no reason to change this. We can still model from California; many places, especially police departments, use the LA model. NorSan and SoSan is also completely viable without having to completely erase California.

  35. 黑毒蛇 Black Vipers Brief overview The Black Vipers is a semi-organized street gang based on Little Bighorn Avenue in Textile City. Founded by Chinese migrants in the 1980's, the gang upheld traditional conservative values brought over from Hong Kong and Macau, preferring the tradition of their homeland to the liberalized culture of the United States. The Black Vipers is and has always been made up of entirely males ranging from the ages of sixteen to late twenties and has always occupied Little Bighorn Avenue since its inception. Females were allowed in the gang, but it was a rare occurrence; a woman would have to grind twice as hard to get what a male got, it was how it was back home, a traditional patriarchal value. 1980's With the restrictions on Asian (primarily Chinese) migration to the United States in the late seventies and early eighties, a vast flow of Chinese migrants entered into what is now the Golden Silk Valley. The Black Vipers operated as snakeheads, smuggling in anti-communist Chinese peoples who would have otherwise been persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party. These people they brought in either kept close ties to their "liberators" or worked for them themselves. These staunch anti-communists were people who valued their Chinese tradition and heritage, thus why even to this day the gang upholds their conservative view on society. 1990-1995 The peak of this groups snakehead operations were after the British surrender of Hong Kong in the early 1990's. The group brought in primarily young men and women, which brought on their dive into rackets such as sex trafficking, drug smuggling, and arms smuggling. During this period, the Black Vipers began to extort businesses along Little Bighorn Avenue. After all, the gang had leverage over the local business owners as the people they "liberated" oftentimes made up the majority of their employees. Notoriously, if the business owners refused, their employees paid up regardless due to their favorable outlook on their "liberators" from communist rule. The mid 1990's was the beginning of the short-lived golden era of the Black Vipers, where they had the manpower and connections to efficiently control their expanding turf. Late 1990's - Early 2000's With the growth of the Black Viper's operations on Sinner Street, tensions with Sinner-Side 23 eventually boiled over. The late 1990's and early 2000's was a bloody period for the Black Vipers, where they would engage in multiple conflicts against Sinner-Side 23 and other local street gangs. The event that marked this period of blood was the Ten Cent Theater Massacre, where a verbal argument between Black Viper gang affiliates and members of Sinner-Side 23 turned violent. BREAKING NEWS 06/05/2004 Ten Cent Threater - Sinner Street, Los Santos Late last night, multiple 911 calls from Ten Cent Theater on Sinner Street were received. As first responders arrived on scene, they were greeted by a large and frightened crowd. Inside the theater, two Asian-American individuals were found shot dead. The incident is suspected to be motivated by gang affiliation in the local area. With crime rates rising in this part of the city, an incident like this could occur again, leading to more lives lost, both gang-affiliated and civilian. Eventually, these conflicts were halted by law enforcement crackdowns on local gangs. The decline of the Black Vipers had begun after nearly a decade of bloody conflicts. 2010's The 2010's bred agreements between the Black Vipers and Sinner-Side 23, bringing an end to the bloody conflicts and establishing recognized turf that neither would impede on. The effects of the conflicts in the early 2000's would be felt with a severe loss of manpower in the gang, which directly reflected on their decrease in prominence in the area. Though still active, the Black Vipers were effectively wounded and their operations became severely smaller. However, with the Chinese crackdown on Hong Kong in the mid-2010's, their snakehead origins were revived, bringing countless enemies of the Chinese Communist Party through to the United States. Though not on the same scale as before, this tradition of the Black Vipers brought a slight increase in their manpower once again, and a "revival" of the gang on Little Bighorn Avenue. Their presence here in the late 2010's was stronger than it was during the earlier part of the decade, but not nearly as strong as it was in the 1990's and 2000's. Present day Though the gang replenished some of its manpower issues, they remain a shadow of what they once were. The Black Vipers still uphold their traditional values and conservative nature in an everchanging world. Though, they have adapted with the times as it pertains to producing an income, diving into skimming and vehicle chopping. The Black Vipers remain very exclusive to this day, along with little known about their hierarchy or who leads them. OOC: We aim to portray a realistic approach to a modern Chinese street gang. We will be starting off very small and with little influence or power, as all development of the gang will occur in game. Any questions or concerns should be directed to my PM's

  36. Hey all, Today I'm happy to showcase to you guys how far along we've came with our damage system which is just about complete. It's been really fun testing and we can't wait for you guys to hop in game soon and experience it yourself. Check out this video by @Xanakin to see more about it: We really brainstormed how to handle damages and different type of weapons and I think we came out with a pretty solid system. We currently have more than 60 custom inventory weapons implemented and more than 20 different ammo types. Each weapon will have a base damage and a list of compatible ammo and a range of distances it can fire accurately and how far. V's native range for hitting targets is quite large so this was necessary to do. Each ammo type will be configured with a different multiplier. So some types of ammo will be stronger, some will be weaker and so forth. When it comes to deciding how much damage it's time to give, it all comes down to these factors: base damage, ammo multiplier, distance and bodypart. Some bodyparts will increase your damage, and some may lower it. Another part of our system that I'm quite happy about is the attachment system! We've added just about every weapon component that exists on GTA V and that will all be accessible. As demonstrated in the video, you'll be able to have each piece in your inventory and use them on weapons it's compatible with (not all can have attachments)! Here's an example of some of the pistols and their ammo types we've added: (not final!) thead tr {background-color: ActiveCaption; color: CaptionText;} th, td {vertical-align: top; font-family: "Segoe UI", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 9pt; padding: 3px; } table, td {border: 1px solid silver;} table {border-collapse: collapse;} thead .col0 {width: 189px;} thead .col1 {width: 164px;} Weapons Ammo Types LSPD SWAT Staccato P 9mm FMJ, 9mm JHP H&K USP 9 9mm FMJ, 9mm JHP Beretta 92FS 9mm FMJ, 9mm JHP Glock 19 9mm FMJ, 9mm JHP FN 509 MRD-LE 9mm FMJ, 9mm JHP Glock 17 9mm FMJ, 9mm JHP Beretta 92X 9mm FMJ, 9mm JHP Glock 21 9mm FMJ, 9mm JHP Sig Sauer P320 9mm FMJ, 9mm JHP Sig Sauer P365X 9mm FMJ, 9mm JHP Glock 43X 9mm FMJ, 9mm JHP Kimber Custom LW .45ACP FMJ, .45ACP JHP Colt 1911 Classic .45ACP FMJ, .45ACP JHP Smith & Wesson 4506 .45ACP FMJ, .45ACP JHP Smith & Wesson M&P9 M2.0 9mm FMJ, 9mm JHP Thank you all once again for your continued support! 37. Hello everyone, As we enter December (already?? time flies when you're having fun), I'm eager to share some of the development and general progress updates. The last few weeks were once again very productive and even though there's still a lot of work and polish to be done, we're inching closer to an MVP every day. One of the major achievements over the last two months was that we were able to put together a final list of features for release, including detailed blueprints of how these features will work. This allows us to focus on development only as an overwhelming majority of the brainstorming is already done. If everything goes according to plan, we should be ready to announce a concrete release date within a week. The release date depends on how many issues we encounter during testing, how busy I'll be with work and how smoothly our final infrastructure deployment goes. Let me highlight some of the features we've worked on recently to hopefully satisfy your hunger for the new LS-RP. Drug System One of the most difficult systems for me to approach was the drug system. Every drug on the server will be unique in the effects it provides. These effects are divided into three categories - Visual, Positive and Negative. It's almost an art to find a way to balance the three aspects of each drug, while keeping them unique and desirable. We're launching with a handful of drugs only, but we already have plans for the near future to expand the system with more and more substances. Visual Effects Some of the drugs will have visual effects that affect the player's graphics and camera. With every drug, visual effects start as barely noticeable to mild for small and regular doses. The effects get more pronounced and wonky the more high you get, so it's up to you how much of the visual experience you want. Positive & Negative Effects While no drug will make you a superhuman, some of them tie into the damage system to give you an edge one way or another. The type and-or scale of the effect is different for each drug. It's worth noting that it also depends on the dose you take, in case of overdoing it, you might be overwhelmed by the negative effects more than helped by the positive ones. This paragraph is intentionally vague to encourage exploration after launch Other interesting aspects of the system include an overdose script, which is different for alcohol, stimulants and opiates. Make sure to keep a Narcan handy! MDC The MDC on LS-RP was light years ahead of any other SA-MP server and we're aiming to achieve the same on GTA V as well. The UI is a simulated old Windows-like OS, complete with a window management system, process system and different programs for Legal tasks. The MDC will be available to the PD, SD, FD and GOV to handle their duties. We aim to move as much game-related functionality and record keeping into the game, instead of using external tools. In Conclusion Once again I'd like to say that your support and patience has been great. It's rewarding to see the interest and hype surrounding this project and I can't wait to jump in game with all of you to Roleplay in Los Santos again. Big thanks to everyone on our Discord and forums for keeping the community active, and everyone on Patreon for making the launch of this project possible. Exciting stuff, can't wait to show you everything else we've been cooking up If you'd like to join us on Discord, come over at https://discord.gg/ls-rp - check out the #snippets channel for exclusive content! 38. Hello everyone In order to make the rules easier to navigate and understand, we have decided to move them away from the forums and onto our very own wiki page! It will still be accessable from our boards, as you can easily click the "Rules" tab on the menu bar. The rules are split into five different categories: Server Rules Account Rules Forum Rules Rules of Engagement Legal Faction Rules With the rules being listed on our wiki page, we are able to easily make changes to them and we will be able to see what was different in the respective revisions of them. Furthermore, every player will be able to see the rules directly in game by simply using "/help rules" or "/help deathmatch" and it will open the rulebook for deathmatching. We are releasing the rules now so that everyone has the time to study them closely before the server opens. Please remember that it is your own responsibility to keep up to date on any rule changes applied, so give the rulebook a thorough read. You can also find the new wiki rules page here. Happy reading,

  39. Hey all, This is the first post I'm making in 2022 so I'd wish you a happy new year and all that, but I feel we're all over that already given it's the 20th. That being said, there's no doubt 2022 will be the year of LS-RP. To kick the showcase off for the year, I'd like to show you what I've been working on for the past few days on and off - the ATM feature. The video is pretty self explanatory so I'll skip right to the chase. We created a part of this system LIVE on Twitch. If you'd like to see more development streams, let me know in the replies; also let me know which feature you'd like to see being developed! (Visual ones, such as the ATM interface are easier to do live). I'll try to bring you more updates in the form of posts and videos in the coming days as we finalize some cool features; in the meantime you can check out #snippets on Discord for the odd tease here and there. Thank you all for the continued support, whether it's here on forums, Discord, my DM's, or directly on Patreon. Let me know what you'd like to see next. Yours truly, Martin

  40. Hey everyone, Today we're launching character customization for those who already have an accepted character and are a member of our staff, insider program or an active1 patron. To find out if you're eligible, simply log in on ucp.ls-rp.com and you will see a prompt: After whitelisting your IP, give it a few minutes and you'll be able to connect to server.ls-rp.com using your RageMP client, where you log in with the same details as into the UCP. After that, you'll be prompted to choose a character and customize it. You can customize your character as many times as you want pre-launch. If you don't like where you left off, you can return another day and change it entirely. This is something that won't be available after launch - key features of a character won't be adjustable with a few minor exceptions. We're working on adding more outfits, especially female ones, so you'll be able to go back and change it as well. If you face any issues with the character creator tool, please reach out to our staff team on Discord and they'll be able to guide you, or forward your issue to our development team. RageMp released an update today to a core system we're using in the character creator; so we anticipate there may be some issues. Last thing worth noting is that we've heard you and we'll be increasing the character slots to 2 pre-launch, probably sometime next week. TL;DR Make sure you have an accepted character and are insider, staff, or active patron Whitelist yourself on ucp.ls-rp.com Wait a few minutes for the whitelist to refresh Connect to server.ls-rp.com on RageMP ??? Profit Kind regards, Martin 1 We've chosen for "active" patrons only to provide a new incentive for folks who keep supporting the project even after creating their character. If you aren't an active patron anymore, you will be able to customize your character once, a day or two before launch.

  41. Hey all, To give factions the ability to house their faction members in certain areas, the Faction Team has decided to allow factions to apply for faction complexes. These faction complexes will consist of a few apartments and will help with providing more environmental roleplay for the faction. Each faction has the ability to choose between getting 6 to 8 apartments for their complex. In order to improve the housing market, the Faction Team is offering factions a possibility to establish themselves within certain areas by creating a faction complex. This will ensure that faction members are provided the necessary housing for them to do their roleplay. For individuals, renting options will be available at launch; and a separate scheme will be announced for businesses. How to determine how many apartments you can get? The faction that is applying has to exist for a minimum of a week, and needs to consist of at least 12 core members. See below list to see how many members you need for the amount of apartments you can apply for in your complex. 6 apartments: 12 members 7 apartments: 14 members 8 apartments: 16 members A faction can apply for a maximum of 8 apartments. GUIDELINES By submitting an application, you agree to the rules surrounding the scheme, and accept potential removal from the scheme following any breach of the following agreements: Name-changing in any form is not allowed and will result in removal. You have to notify the Head of Schemes before namechanging. Administrative punishment (admin jail or ban), depending on severity and situation. Abusing the furniture limits within the complex for your own benefit. Poor roleplay surrounding the faction complexes. Lying in the selection application. Creating secret compartment/rooms or designing the interior in a way to give you a benefit during shootouts. Faction owner rents the complex out to non-faction members. Other faction team decision. Faction is shut down. Inactivity. REQUIREMENTS Before applying for the scheme, please ensure you meet the requirements. Not meeting the requirements will result in an instant denial. You must be part of a faction. You must be the leader of said faction. You must have experience in/around illegal factions. You must have a good standing in the community. Your faction must have a minimum of 12 members. Your faction thread must be up for a minimum of one week. APPLICATION Send your application to the Head of Schemes @DDaniels Message subject: [COMPLEX] Faction Name This article was prepared by the Faction Team.

  42. Hey everyone, We're now just a little over two weeks before our scheduled release and new features are getting added into our game mode left and right. There's still a lot of work remaining and we're going full steam ahead, though I can really tell it's all slowly coming together. Allow me to give you a few updates on the upcoming two weeks so you know what to expect. Character Applications Everyone will be able to submit a character application starting February 14th. Until then the applications remain locked for our Patrons only. We anticipate a large amount of applications, so if you want to be 100% sure yours gets handled in time for the release, I suggest you submit it before the 14th. Similar story goes for the character creation server, which will become available to the public on February 20th. You will be able to customize your character however many times you wish before the server launch. After launch, you won't be able to alter an existing character appearance - just set it once and it's done. Staff Reinstatements We've decided on all staff reinstatements submitted and will be announcing & processing them on February 14th along with public character applications. Development Updates Due to the sheer amount of updates that are happening recently and how close we are to release, I won't bore you with paragraphs; here's some screenshots instead. Etc. If you've been keeping up with #snippets on our Discord, you've probably seen some of these already. On a personal note ... Today also marks a special occasion for me personally — it's exactly ten years since I got accepted into LS-RP and started roleplaying. It's been a wild ride and what excites me the most is that it's nowhere near over. The opposite actually, we're inching closer and closer to the next chapter for the community and I can already tell it's going to be awesome. The sheer amount of energy, effort and dedication from everyone starts to show and despite any hurdles we may encounter during launch, I'm certain we've got something great on our hands. Anyway, I'll save the speech for later; just wanted to thank you for keeping me entertained for the past ten years, and letting me create cool shit for you to enjoy for most of them.
