In all seriousness from my previous reply, I understand that you may want to show that server management has a backbone and are confident in their decisions that they feel are right for the server, but this is not the right hill to die on. Scroll up and look at the overwhelming support for the opposite of what you've just said. You are literally looking at killing the server before its release. As I said in one of my previous replies here, I don't understand why you are adamant with that option when you haven't roleplayed properly in years. Let the community members vote, let the faction team (who as far as I know oppose this decision) vote and come to conclusion how they want THEIR continuity on the server THEY will play on turn out. This is not just my extreme view take on this, but I am sure 90% of the community agree with me on this take. Listen to the people who will actually play than yourself who will be tirelessly working on the server ensuring it flourishes from the backstage.

Hello, As I mentioned on Discord already, due to reasons out of our control we are unable to release on the 24th as originally planned. This is due to real life circumstances and an attempted break-in into my apartment because of which I had to spend the last week and some change making sure my family and I are safe. Although I've gotten some of my time back to focus on the finalizing work I would've been doing, I'm still not 100% back and won't be for the next few days as it's an evolving situation & ongoing police investigation. Can't say this pleases me, since we were going to be able to make it on the 24th but shit happens. Server will come out very soon. We'll post 24 hours in advance once we're ready so you can adjust your schedule. During the time I've been dealing with this mess, the rest of the team was hard at work getting what they can ready & tested. Huge shout-out dev team, leads & the entire staff team. Derrick "Saint" Portman Introduction/Backstory Derrick Portman, born November 18th, 2006, is the son of a single mother. Derrick was born and raised in the Davis, Los Santos area. Being raised by a single mother, Derrick experience poverty from a young age. Vague memories of empty pantry cabinets, refrigerators, and tables. Visions of when his mother and himself would sleep on the couch in the living room with the oven being open and on for heat close by. Growing up, Derrick was no stranger to the stereotypical nuances that come with poverty stricken areas. Drugs, alcohol, prostitution, gang violence, etc. These are common occurrences in the life surround Derrick. He would try and focus in school, however, thoughts of what he needed to do after he got out of school to help his mother live a better life would run rampant in his mind. By middle school, Derrick would find himself involved in small-time drug dealings. He started by flipping nickel and dime sacks of weed to his close friends to make a couple dollars every week so he could feed himself and take that burden off his mother. Throughout his middle school years, he would suffer a series of life-altering events that would shape his character into a more emotionally hardened/standoffish person by the start of High School. He'd also be outside on a regular basis after school, hanging with his "homies" in their neighborhood. It would be together with this group that he'd find himself getting deeper into street, gang, and drug culture. As of June 25th, 2023. Derrick is a 16 year old Senior in High School. He's actively participated in neighborhood activities outside of school, gang-related brawls, dealings, and more. This is the beginning of his recorded history. Character Traits Power, Respect, and Money Oriented. - Derrick's primary reason for being involved in street life is money driven. He wants to provide a better life for himself and his family. However, events in Derrick's life have shaped him to be more principle based. This caused him to seek authority and respect from those around him. He refused to take disrespect lightly. With that came a hunger for power. Athlete and Musician - From a young age, Derrick was exposed to music from his mother. He's always loved performing his own renditions of the songs he learned growing up. From a young age he began creating his own music as well. Being outside with other kids his age, he became very interested in sports and athleticism. Clothes, Sneakers, Tattoo, Car, and Technology Enthusiast - Derrick naturally is driven to the finer luxuries that life has to offer. You can say this is partly due to him growing up in poverty. His desire for nice clothes, shoes, tattoos, and a car have given him an exponentially large determination factor in his personality. He is striving to reach economic stability to be able to afford these type of luxuries. Hotheaded, Anxious, Depressed, Stoner, Psychonaut, etc. - Derrick suffers from a lot of complex PTSD due to him dealing with an emotionally unstable mother and lacking a father figure. He experience very traumatic experience from a young age that resulted in contributing to his personality disorders. He is easily aggravated, he doesn't like ignorance, trust issues flare up often, and so forth. Derrick has resorted to smoking weed, drinking alcohol, popping pills, and doing psychedelics as forms of self medication to remedy these mental issues.

Hey all, Today I'm happy to showcase to you guys how far along we've came with our damage system which is just about complete. It's been really fun testing and we can't wait for you guys to hop in game soon and experience it yourself. Check out this video by @Xanakin to see more about it: We really brainstormed how to handle damages and different type of weapons and I think we came out with a pretty solid system. We currently have more than 60 custom inventory weapons implemented and more than 20 different ammo types. Each weapon will have a base damage and a list of compatible ammo and a range of distances it can fire accurately and how far. V's native range for hitting targets is quite large so this was necessary to do. Each ammo type will be configured with a different multiplier. So some types of ammo will be stronger, some will be weaker and so forth. When it comes to deciding how much damage it's time to give, it all comes down to these factors: base damage, ammo multiplier, distance and bodypart. Some bodyparts will increase your damage, and some may lower it. Another part of our system that I'm quite happy about is the attachment system! We've added just about every weapon component that exists on GTA V and that will all be accessible. As demonstrated in the video, you'll be able to have each piece in your inventory and use them on weapons it's compatible with (not all can have attachments)! Hey all, To give factions the ability to house their faction members in certain areas, the Faction Team has decided to allow factions to apply for faction complexes. These faction complexes will consist of a few apartments and will help with providing more environmental roleplay for the faction. Each faction has the ability to choose between getting 6 to 8 apartments for their complex. In order to improve the housing market, the Faction Team is offering factions a possibility to establish themselves within certain areas by creating a faction complex. This will ensure that faction members are provided the necessary housing for them to do their roleplay. For individuals, renting options will be available at launch; and a separate scheme will be announced for businesses. How to determine how many apartments you can get? The faction that is applying has to exist for a minimum of a week, and needs to consist of at least 12 core members. See below list to see how many members you need for the amount of apartments you can apply for in your complex. 6 apartments: 12 members 7 apartments: 14 members 8 apartments: 16 members A faction can apply for a maximum of 8 apartments. GUIDELINES By submitting an application, you agree to the rules surrounding the scheme, and accept potential removal from the scheme following any breach of the following agreements: Name-changing in any form is not allowed and will result in removal. You have to notify the Head of Schemes before namechanging. Administrative punishment (admin jail or ban), depending on severity and situation. Abusing the furniture limits within the complex for your own benefit. Poor roleplay surrounding the faction complexes. Lying in the selection application. Creating secret compartment/rooms or designing the interior in a way to give you a benefit during shootouts. Faction owner rents the complex out to non-faction members. Other faction team decision. This is a guide that is going to walk you through how to roleplay a tough guy, many people have this perspective on how tough guy's should be roleplayed, many get this from movies however, we try to be as realistic as possible. Initially, this guide was written for La Cosa Nostra characters, but you can use this guide as a way to help you in other illegal faction characters. "So this is the life you want, huh?" ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TALK THE MOTHER-F*CKING TALK To be a tough guy, you have to talk tough. You gotta bring your inner Roy Sassu out. Don’t curse, don’t scream, just look someone right in the eye and make sure there’s conviction behind your voice. The bum on 7th Avenue can scream about socialism and the apocalypse as much as he wants, but that recklessness won’t fly with a tough guy. Michael Corleone was the king of tough talk. His cool demeanor yet fiery stare was the ultimate vocal combination. So, when I run into some stunad who insists on breaking my balls, I never respond by yelling. I simply look in his eyes and calmly say: “I would appreciate it if you met me outside to further resolve this matter.” Only I don’t use that exact phrasing... TAKE THE PAIN P****! Tough guys play hurt, take the pain and know that complaining is only for cafones who crave attention. The respect that comes from enduring pain is a lot better than the sympathy you get from moaning about it -- take your old-neighbourhood maniac Natale Turrisi for example, everything was upside down, backwards and inside out at the same time! President Roosevelt gave a speech despite the fact that he had just been shot in the chest. Now you have guys taking up hospital beds with a bad case of hangnail. I’m not saying you have to endure as much as Teddy, but remember that complaining is a sign of weakness, and it’s definitely not a sign that you can be a tough guy! CHOOSE YOUR FIGHTS, DON'T PICK THEM! Don’t go out looking for a fight. If you want to be a tough guy, you shouldn’t have anything to prove. A tough guy can distinguish which fights are worth fighting. No one respects a man who can’t brush off a petty altercation. However, it’s also hard to respect a man who doesn’t know when it’s time to flex. The important battles are the ones whose significance exceeds the actual confrontation. If a guy bumps into you, it’s probably not worth it. But if a guy bumps into your wife, marone, you better act up!! If not, you'll end up like Ralphie -- you could've beaten Angie Schifino black 'n' blue, he wouldn't do jack squat! MORAL VALUES There’s a method that must accompany the madness of every tough guy. He has principles and morals that he won’t compromise. He’s not just out there for himself, but something bigger. Whether it is trust, respect or honesty, a tough guy has values that he’ll never tolerate being tarnished. Defending his beliefs is always justified. And if he doesn’t act in their defence, he knows he’s a justifiable coward. In our thing, we value loyalty over anything else. If someone breaks that loyalty, we break their legs. And Dame, if you’re out there, you can’t hide forever!! MAN THE F*** UP! There’s a common myth that tough guys don’t fear anything. Trust me -- we do. The trick, however, is to hide that fear. Never wear your emotions on your sleeve. That’s a stain the dry cleaner can’t get out. The boss once asked me to meet him by the old loading docks and, sure, I thought I might be the victim of the recent “company downsizing,” but I knew the importance of acting unfazed. Once someone smells your fear, they’ll see you as weak and vulnerable, something you have to learn if you want to be a tough guy. IN THE END!? If my tips still leave you wondering how to be a tough guy since you don't wanna end up like your average Bruiser Chiodo, take a note from The Don himself. As Johnny Fontane cried to Vito Corleone: “Godfather, I don’t know what to do!” The Don didn’t respond with: “Have you tried psychoanalysis?” or “I know this great anti-depressant.” The Don simply said: “You can act like a man!” That is my overall advice to those who find themselves falling into the pit of softness. I’m not saying we’re all made out to be a tough guy, and I’m not saying my tips are the only ones to follow. However, I do know it’s never too late to regain your manhood. Milos Karanovic was born in America, in a family with a Russian father and a Serbian mother. They were both aliens that migrated during the early 1990s. The relationship didn't work out well, as Jana, Milos's mother was forced into marrying Nikolai, Milos's father due to financial issues between two crime families that had settled in the same territory. The local Serbian mob had nothing to do but give one of the higher standing individuals within the group something to pay up for a mistake that had been made by the a couple local Serbian thugs, which resulted in one casualty of a Russian teenager, son-in-law of the Russian group leader of that time. This resulted in Jana having to convert her life and move in with Nikolai, who she eventually married. Nikolai provided Jana a great life, but she did not enjoy it. After a year together, the two got married and decided to have a child. It was a one-sided decision as Nikolai wanted someone to be able to take his spot in the ranking of the mob once he died. Milos was born healthy. It was a early birthing but everything went by plan and nothing harmed Milos. It was the seventeenth of February, 1999, a rather cold day. Milos lived a great life at first. It never came to his mind how his mother was actually treated until the day he became three years old. Milos had spent most of his time with a baby-sitter whilst his parents were away working or doing their own things. On his third birthday, his family had gathered again. It was the first time Milos felt the love of both of his parents at once, but it ended in a nightmare as after midnight, just after Milos went to bed, he heard screams from the bedroom. He was curious, but was too afraid to check on it. In the morning, his father had already left, so he went to check on his mother after getting up early for her to take him to the babysitter. His mother faced was shining back from the make-up she had put on, but the bruises were still visible. Milos felt that he could've been next if he acted wrong, therefore, when he went to kindergarten, he kept to himself. He did get into a couple fights, which ended up with Nikolai praising him and Jana trying to make sure her only son was okay, but still giving him a hard time about it, shouting at him in Serbian. Nikolai had not learned Serbian prior to meeting Jana nor did he afterwards, but Jana made sure to teach Milos enough Serbian to be able to talk to him freely without Nikolai understanding, although the main language spoken in the household was Russian. Milos became old enough to finally go to school. Nikolai made sure to get the best education for Milos as possible, enrolling him into a local, but praised Catholic school. But being in a Catholic school didn't stop Milos from getting in trouble. After five years of going to the school, Milos got into a very violent fight with one classmate. It ended up with Milos stabbing the kid's eye with a pencil he had taken from his table during history class. It was evident that he was in trouble, so like his mother, he decided to play the victim and pleaded to be let off with a warning. This time, it wasn't the case. He was expelled and later on, after Nikolai heard the news, he received a rough beating at home. Multiple belt hits to his back and legs made him cry out loud as his mother watched helplessly, with fear in her eyes as she knew that she was next. Milos took a shower later, crying away the pain under the shower. His mother took a shower just after him, and after midnight, when Nikolai had left, Jana decided to run away with Milos. Milos found housing at a local shelter with his mother for some time. Gratefully, the shelter was owned by a local Chinese businessman, who decided to keep it a secret from the Russians, even after they came to "extort" him for information. It was a well-kept secret, as Jana was able to grow his child safer than ever. Jana called her contact within the local serbian circle, which had decayed ever since a major drug bust locked down a bit part of the Russians and almost eighty per cent of the Serbians in the region. They arranged a meeting and were able to set up a place for Jana to live. Nikolai found out about it and drunk as he was, he went to seek for his child and the mother of his child. It went horribly wrong, as it was only a set-up bait for Nikolai to walk into, as a drive by from a motorcycle left him bleeding out in the suburban part of the town. The story broke into the news, as Nikolai Kuzman, a well-known local businessman was found dead. That also sparked a war between the two families, which only lasted days until peace was called upon after another fifteen members of the Russians and five members of the Serbians had found their final road in a war against each other. Jana was relieved and went on to live with the mobster that had helped her through it, Daniel. Daniel and Jana got married after a few weeks together and Daniel hesitated to take Jana's family name, Karanovic as a good measurement. That also had Milos's name change, as he was still being taken care of by his mother and a step-father. The relationship of Daniel and Milos was perfect. That's exactly the type of life he should've been able to live with Nikolai, but Nikolai's hot-headedness broke that apart. A few years pass. Milos is in a public school now. He's in tenth grade by now, being a great student, scoring almost all A's in his final report card. Milos was always a smart cookie. He knew what to do and when to do it. A couple kids from the school invited him to go to parties with them. Milos drunk a lot, reminiscing of his father. The memories were undeniable of long nights where Nikolai drunk for the most of it, but Milos shattered them all eventually. He was invited to join a group of kids, who were hanging out together a lot more. He found himself in a circle of thieves, who had a reputation in school, which also enabled him to create one for himself. He started off hazing some of the younger kids, taking their lunch or lunch money from them. He was eventually reported, but all of the problems were solved as Milos was still a picture perfect kid on paper. Milos got in touch with one of the kids one night, who invited him to go hitting houses. Milos agreed with no hesitation. He might've been young, but his wit payed up for it. The first harvest went well. They were able to capitalize on a small property of a younger lady on a vacation. They took home jewelry and a little bit of antique furniture she had collected. Milos, along with another kid were tasked to sell it. It came off nice as Milos asked his father to do it for him. Knowing what Milos was into had Daniel confused, but he did it for him anyway. Milos and the crew spread the money. It was five of them working that one flat and the money split evenly, at around fifteen hundred a face. Milos showed his father the money and smiled, showing off that he can capitalize on his smart mind, achieving more than just great grades. The jobs started to come in more often, ranging from apartments to full blown houses in the ghetto, where the score was more than just a few watches. Occasionally, Milos found himself collecting drug packages from local trap houses. That also meant that there were people in that crew that took out the guards, but Milos had never thought one of these guys could be him. He was more of a calm person when it came down to that. He wanted things to go peacefully. That all changed one night in 2018, which lead to Milos taken in custody after a richer house-hold was the target. The dismantling of the alarm systems had failed, which caused the local security company to check the place out. It became evident it was being burglarized and eventually, the police were swarming the place. Detectives were questioning the kids taken in custody. There were seven people at that location alone. Two were drivers and the five worked inside, stealing what they could. Milos was taken in custody and was accused of burglary and grand theft along with other charges, making him face a potential six year imprisonment. Milos was taken to the holding facility, where a friendship with Dejan Miletic, a local Serbian businessman accused of murder, was formed. They were sharing cells until the court hearing for both of them. It was the same day, but the difference was that Dejan was not put on the bus to be transferred to a prison, but Milos was. He was able to apply for parole after four years, and because of his good behavior, Milos was out of the facility in a relatively fast time, only serving four years of his bid, though, his parole officer was occasionally on his back, trying to get him to work a good job after that. Milos had been in contact with Dejan through letters. He had formed a great bond with him and surely after his release, was invited to work for a friend of Dejan under a business that was part of the Atlas Enterprise. He found himself in a position where there was a lot to achieve.
