  1. Yeah from my understanding, the confirmation is that it's an island (though I understand many people don't seem to be massively fond of that idea from reading back). The answer on replacement of California or not isn't clear yet - perhaps it's not been decided yet?

    Release Update

Hoping you are safe and well my dear. All is well ❤️
  3. Thanks for all the feedback y'all ❤️ I'll be updating this after server launch and obvs, depending on how much interest there is in this sort of RP. I do recall Mmartin mentioning that, although there won't be scripted news commands in the beginning, it's something that is planned. So in other words, if you're planning on RPing a journo, it's best to get in there early and prove what you can do with forum/internet articles etc. Also potentially the social network on the phone (not seen much of this yet!) Watch this space 😉
  4. This basically sums up my opinion too, very well-rounded answer.
  5. Pretty sure there used to be an official party line on this one, can't remember what it was though. Personally I prefer to see San Andreas as somewhere separate, but at the same time, I'd never actively talk about LA. No strong opinion on this really, whatever suits (so long as people don't start calling LS places by their LA counterpart names, for instance "Hey did you see what happened at Hollywood Bowl?")
  6. Y'ello there. My character is running Government's Cultural Affairs Office when the server launches. We'll be responsible for organising events, observing religious festivals, and supporting events that people organise (provided they fit within certain criteria). I reckon there'll be plenty of opportunities for us to have roleplay together, provided you guys are still active with this idea. I can send you some more details over PM but yeah - wishing you good luck with this one 🙂

    San Andreas Law!

Finally got around to reading this, we stan. Always a necessary evil getting this sort of mad paperwork sorted but all looks gud.
  8. LSRP in like 2008. Unless we're counting Habbo Hotel >.>
  9. It's easy when you get the hang of it! Definitely get Audacity - it's totally free and easy to use. Hmu on Disc if you want a tutorial or two - I've done basic edits for my guides and stuff in the past. Not sure how you'd do "interviews" though - maybe just recorded Disc convos? dunno!
  10. Oo yes also if you want hints/tips on video or audio editing then hmu. I use Audacity and Premiere Pro.
  11. We stan this, good luck and if you want a guest speaker about Gov / news / generic legal RP I can join in de fun. Subbed mainly for the sexy accent tho.
  12. Loved Vice City, was the first GTA I played. Do hope it's back there again. But I also hope that they get their shit together with a better storyline.
  13. I'm playing on some kind of "harder than normal" difficulty and I enjoy the challenge, but the storyline is not engaging and there are still bugs. It also annoys me that my Corpo character isn't any more unique than the others; it's like that choice in the beginning barely means a thing.
  14. The first female Mayor was Naomi Williams in 2010 - who was also me but I killed her off shortly thereafter. Then I believe Susan Licther was... 2011? Then Allegra Nixon was 2012. Could be totally off with these dates actually. There were a few other female Mayors - Allison Hall and Valentina Richardson for instance.
  15. I second this, always wanted to go but it's far away and I'd need to save up. Also wanna go to Japan.
  16. I do want to get into using some kind of graphics packs at some point, but yeah gonna wait and see how things play out a bit more first. At the end of the day, it's still a good looking game without any mods at all imo.

    First Staff Update of 2022

    We stan. Well done y'all.
  18. Updated with a fedora because everyone knows that the tiltier your fedora, the more gangsta you are.
  19. I'm absolutely no expert on this, but I'm guessing that choosing between clients must have been a pretty big decision in the beginning, and not one taken lightly. Albeit I haven't actually played alt:V before. I was on FiveM for a bit but there was some to-do with the developers I believe? Either way, I guess it is what it is now. I've seen what RageMP can do and it's ballin'.
