  1. Hey everyone, We’re pleased to launch the first in a series of community surveys which we’d like you to take part in. This first one is quite broad and asks a range of questions about how you’re currently feeling about LSRP, what major concerns you have ahead of launch, and some specific questions about the systems that will be in place. Your input is incredibly valuable to us. Although the first iteration of the server’s script is complete and going through bug testing, we want to make sure that your thoughts are taken into consideration as we continue to grow. You can help shape LSRP’s future, and these surveys will be just one of the ways you can do so. We also know that the script is only part of the reason you’ll choose to play LSRP, hence why many questions focus on community and systems management. To take part in this survey, please click here - you have the option of providing your contact details if you're happy for us to talk to you about your answers, but this is entirely optional. We know that communications and transparency has consistently come up as something which you’d like to see this team get better at, and this is just the first of many initiatives that are being implemented to improve on that. Please be assured that the answers you provide to these questions will be collated and discussed at the highest level. Therefore, if you feel passionately about something then now is absolutely the time to share your opinion. Feel free to be as brutally honest as you like; we know this hasn’t been plane-sailing for some time, and willingly accept that this is an area we must improve in. There will be more opportunities beyond this initial survey for you to provide input. Make sure you keep an eye on our General Discussions section, because we’re likely to open up some topics for discussion depending on the responses we get back. Thanks in advance for your input! 2. How do you do, fellow kid?
  3. I agree with Valentine here, the main reason being that GTA Online's character creation system is a little awkward and clunky, and only when you're actually walking around and seeing your character in new environments do you tend to notice little things like "oh damn, that nose is massive" or "the skin colour I chose actually makes me look like an old woman". It's not immediately obvious to see this in any default character editor. Plus, I'm hoping that in the future we'll have the skin slider mix (this is a default option in Online I believe), as it's pretty essential to fixing the "old woman's skin" problem for females in particular. The appearance of people's characters is pretty important to them, so little tweaks here and there to get them right should be allowed imo. Many other servers offer this in a variety of ways too, so if we have players joining us from elsewhere at any point, it's probably an 'expected feature'. I agree that this does leave it slightly open to abuse, but perhaps we just limit the number of times we allow changes to be made, or make it quite expensive, or have it as a donation feature. I think it's important to have the option eventually (it's not going to be available at launch) but maybe we discuss how best it can be implemented.
  4. The Bill and Frank episode was the best one.

    Gonna be good y'all
  6. I think this is the key here really - banning it outright is too far, but adding regulations and restricting it might allow for illegal gambling rackets to be more profitable/lucrative. I know some earlier comments mentioned that gambling is illegal in California, but when you look into the specifics of it, there are so many exceptions to this rule that it's more accurate to say it's "heavily regulated" with a tonne of hoops to jump through, to be done legally (see here). It's also true that LA has a plethora of casinos. Just get Gov to oversee a stringent licensing process for gambling licenses, keep the tax high on it as per SAMP, and see what happens.

This has been on my wishlist for a loooong time. Is it worth it?
  10. Oooh another old timer, I’m surprised we’ve not come across each other (unless we have and I’ve forgot, in which case I’m sorry I’m getting old now). Either way, heyo

  12. I got bored of Dragonflight. I enjoyed the Dragon Riding aspect but at the end of the day, it was the same old game with the same old problems. FF14 is the way forward for dungeons and raids as far as I'm concerned now.

    Hogwarts Legacy

Yeah lack of Quidditch is obviously an "oh shit we didn't have time to finish that part" move, either that or they were gonna do it as DLC. I have a mod which affects where students and teachers are during the day, closes shops at night etc, which makes it feel a bit more realistic. There's new mods coming out for it all the time, but mostly graphical ones to do with faces and presets etc.

    Hogwarts Legacy

Yeah wonder if someone will ever manage to do this. RP on there would be cool.
  16. Ok so I ended up buying a Valve Index from Steam, and although it's good and I've completely rearranged my room to suit it... i've only used it like three times. Whoops. Half Life Alyx is supposed to be good on it though so I'll try that one next.
  17. Yeah tbf this would be great, and especially important in the beginning I reckon. It's a big ol' map and getting people together in little hubs where they know they can find casual RP is a pretty logical first step - and that can be helped along with events like the one you mentioned there. Big fan.
  18. I get that this one might be a bit contentious because of JK Rowling's views on the world, and I admit I had a considerable moral dilemma before buying it, but I got drunk and caved. One of the few games that has felt worth the price tag recently though. Great story so far, really good combat, open world is great and very detailed/immersive. Slytherin best house though.
