I disagree. I think Ban Appeals should be visible to other players, That's how it's been typically on LSRP for a long time. There should be no shame in punishments and the conversations relating to them along with final verdicts. I as the player would like to know what's going on within the LSRP Community among members etc.

I have to agree with Flemwad here. Making duplicate keys temporarily like on LSRP samp would be good, you could also make another system for permanent keys to share with close friends but you could pull the keys at anytime or when you are near that close friend of yours.

Play Your Own Music, URL.
Natasha Valentine replied to Natasha Valentine's topic in General Discussions
Interesting, what kind of malicious risks would we be talking about? Like inappropriate material being played or more in-depth security concern? Because if it's just regarding material that's being played then I assume that could easily be handled by administrators per situation if needed. Let me know! -
Option 1: Pretty simple, let people play their own music with urls from YouTube or other external sites on boombox's etc. NGRP from 2011 had that system in place which was like 11 Years Ago on samp. Players shouldn't feel tied to use DJ's just to play their own music that they want to hear, they should have a choice between personal choice and the radio. Obviously DJ's would still exist to easily mix and play music lists for parties. But in general players should be able to choose their own music and play it on their own for their little backyard events or large-scale events. You shouldn't have to hire a DJ to play a simple little tune for your 5 star restaurant. I think it's a pretty simple system and it makes sense, very easy for users to use. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Option 2: *UPDATE - Rule restrictions for rule-breakers, using urls maliciously.* Just a general idea, more of a 2nd choice to limit the potential abuse of url usage: - You could let any player use url's but through /setstation on vehicles only that way friends can enjoy music together that they'd like to listen to while cruising around, that way it's limited to the usage for casual players and can't disrupt on a large scale with any sort of malicious content. - Players could put in applications and or be apart of a company/business to be given permissions to use url links on boombox's that way it's more so heavily controlled then just giving it to everyone and the permission can be easily taken away. ^ This sounds completely reasonable and doable if the first choice isn't what you want, one or the other would be better then nothing. I think we should be able to play our own music with friends when we want but if limitations like this must exist for us to get it then so be it.

Permanent vehicles ingame rather then spawned in.
Natasha Valentine replied to Hughesy's topic in General Discussions Archive
It isn't the code itself that's going to reduce a majority of lag from a bunch of cars parked in a location, also I don't think the admins would like it if we /reported every time some guy smashed a car with his bat to continuously set off the alarm to annoy people, plus it's hard to catch players ID's from a simple car alarm going off for a forum report. Admins probably wouldn't want to stalk your car to begin with either, /vpark is the easiest solution for lag and everything else. + Not everyone has a top of the line computer either, imagine grove-street being stacked with cars. a house party on the street with a bunch of visitors would probably have enough cars in one location already to begin with. -
Permanent vehicles ingame rather then spawned in.
Natasha Valentine replied to Hughesy's topic in General Discussions Archive
You have unrealistic expectations of the server, the amount of resources it'd waste on forcing everyone's car to remain spawned would be pointless. I rather see those resources go towards exterior furnishing and less lag if any which would benefit rp way more then a basic parked car. Also putting restraints on people when they can park a car or not is ridiculous, that is a step backwards. Plus if players own multiple vehicles, like 5. That means all 5 would be forced to remain spawned on the server. Let the players decide what they want to use and when and if players non-rply despawn their car during a robbery or something then report them as we've been doing since 2007. Some systems do not have to change. This also helps prevents trolls that keep randomly bashing your vehicle with a baseball bat for no reason while running away then coming back hundreds of times, constantly interrupting your rp etc. There's plenty of other reasons why /vpark is a good idea, mentioned in several other posts above. Same with going to server events which have a lot of lag or riots, at least players would be able to park their vehicle to ease server resources during large rp scenarios etc, it's not worth seeing a car if it's not in use and you aren't rping with it either. Makes it easier on the players and the server to allow /vpark at the players discretion. -
Permanent vehicles ingame rather then spawned in.

I agree, it'd create massive lag. I'd keep it exactly as it was on samp. Players can /v park their vehicles as they please. Don't make things more difficult for players then it has to be. Some players may want to despawn vehicles due to certain circumstances relating to rp etc. Don't "fix" what ain't broke, people liked it since the start of LSRP on samp all the way to 2021. -
Stash cars/asset safety
Natasha Valentine replied to philadelphia shooter's topic in General Discussions
I agree with this, I found the old system from samp was decent for stashing items etc. I'd like to be able to spawn more then 1 vehicle though, multiple would be nice. I typically didn't like when drugs would decay over time but maybe a neat system would be to have a fridge storage script where you could store drugs in the freezer part rply or something to keep it more fresh/stop the timer. Just an idea, I don't know! -
Looks good, I like the layout of the deposits etc. I assume we'll have a phone version of Maze Bank for e-transfers?

Regarding scripted stock, I'd like for it to be more open simply. For example players should be able to make their own food/drink menus with their own names and it should not be limited/divided between certain businesses such as bars, nightclubs, strip clubs etc. Giving freedom to players to sell what they generally want is the way to go to create diversity. I'd like to see commands like /selldrink or /sellfood but not only for businesses. The commands could be tied to companies though, but I'd like to see it used for outside bbq's and events as well. It should be rather easy to have gatherings and could create more jobs. Jobs: Food Caterers, Exterior/Party Bartenders (Alcohol Serving Certificates Required outside bar use) Be able to stock food within a van for BBQ's/Caterers, allow them to bring food/drink in boxes which then grants perms to /selldrink and /sellfood within a certain distance. You'd be able to also sell these items without a box but only a limited amount within your personal inventory or even house inventory. Different methods of purchasing goods. - Small grocery stores, sells in smaller quantities and is more expensive per 1 item. (Typically for general house parties or small time events, house food items, general public etc. ) - National Food Stores for businesses/companies only, sells larger quantities and is cheaper per 1 item in bulk. ( May benefit catering businesses, bonuses of being apart of business/company for more profit value. ) This is all just an idea but is realistic regarding sales and food items, but something like this should be put in.

I believe they should be allowed, it's always good to have a choice then none at all. Ped skins do offer different types of assets such as being chubby or looking a certain way which is not offered in the GTA:O character creation, some people prefer them and I consider that as a benefit to the server, players choice.

I understand what you are trying to say but people will find their own methods and grow on their own in order to create RP and to interact with others. For example a gang will take over Grove Street and slowly build itself up over time with more active gang members and hood rpers. People through legal means will also grow in their own areas of the map and some people like bikers or whoever might want to RP out in the country parts of the map and in the city at their own "localized" spots away from the majority. Players enjoy different areas to role-play in and may even benefit from it and we shouldn't really limit players from that. That being said, I don't think the entire map will be housed on the day of release. That'd be a lot of housing for the administration to put down and will most likely be done slowly over time, which will allow everyone to grow at a steady pace during the server launch. I don't think it'll be as strict as you mentioned above but it still will be managed as the server moves forward and some of the richer areas like Vinewood hills will open up, people won't be able to afford them right away anyway.

Lenghty prison sentences & Forced CKs
Natasha Valentine replied to pure north's topic in General Discussions
I'm against forced CK's because not everyone has a /good/ reason to kill to begin with and a lot of times it can be considered petty which would cause a lot of arguments and reports and this would only benefit toxic "dmers" that would purposely find reasons to gun you down just to ruin your character. I think the CK rules should be the same from LSRP SAMP, CK's can be enforced through factions etc as long as all members agree and understand the agreement of possibly being ck'd at any given time and that it's a risk while running with that certain faction before participating. I'm against players being forced to stay in-game for their prison sentences, mind you while in-game your prison sentence should go faster 2x or something that way players are still motivated to role-play in prison and are "rewarded" for rping in-game for a faster release. For example a 10 hour prison sentence will go 1/2 speed while offline therefore lowering your sentence just at a slower pace, but if you are online during your prison sentence it'll speed up it's process at a normal hourly rate for motivation to keep playing during that period. -
Learn from Past Mistakes
Natasha Valentine replied to Chuckles's topic in General Discussions Archive
I agree with all of this honestly and I've had direct experience with their management and it was unreal, they bashed LSRP every chance they got when fighting with me so it's great you made this post because it's true. Overall I have really high hopes for LSRP V, I'm sure it's going to be really good for illegal and legal players to enjoy and my experience from LSRP from 2014 until 2020 or so was amazing, I loved it. -
Custom Hoods - Map Additions
Natasha Valentine replied to presidentialdrugs's topic in General Discussions
I support custom hoods or overhauls to make it more trashy or making it look better in general for basic RP. I liked the: " New Grove Street Hood " video for example, I think something like that would be nice, but even nice little touch-ups would be good to include like little hangout corners with ghetto couches, tables with alcohol on it and a little fire bin. Little pieces of furniture spread around like that for hangout spots would be a nice touch in my opinion. -
I'd like this re-implemented in LSRP V for players to use, I think it's rather useful for criminals, shady deals, kidnappings etc.

This looks nice, ya.

Vehicle Deterioration & Maintenance
Natasha Valentine replied to EYECE's topic in General Discussions
I'm against this mostly as it'd just feel like a chore especially when owning multiple vehicles and having to run to a garage every so often. Imagine having like 500 to 1,000 players experiencing this. The garages would be constantly full, players would have to wait in line and depending on the script the mechanic shop would need to have employees running it to do upgrades for vehicles etc, elsewise you're screwed and if they are open then you'd wait 30minutes to an hour for it to be finished. So if you're playing during a horrible timezone and there's no mechanic shops open well then I guess you're screwed. But who knows how mechanic shops will operate to begin with at server launch. - Multiple vehicles = Multiple fixes every so often - Line ups since every player from ( 500 - 1000 ) would be experiencing this. - No mechanics, no service. Not playing in a good timezone? Well too bad. (Depends on server script, not sure how it'll work.) - You have to get a ride from the mechanic shop and then have to go pick it up. (Multiple cars, or well players from 500 to 1000 doing this each time. ) I'm okay with a simple oil change though, but it should take months. It shouldn't be a huge hassle/annoyance for the player and that's all I'm saying. And if any of this does get implemented make sure there's plenty of mechanic shops to handle these type of requests because in a game it's very limited, it might even be a chore to find a mechanic shop to begin with, we'll have to see. And also, without any of this I think mechanic shops are going to be crazy busy as everyone will always be buying new cars and upgrading them, you probably won't even need any of this. You'd do something like this if you had no business or people coming in to make rp. I think it'll be too much to chew at once. You'll need a bunch of auto shops. I'm not here to play mechanic simulator, but if the service is fluent and can be properly handled then sure. -

Having a real stock market script would simply be too complex for an RP server compared to the real world in my opinion. Essentially how the stock market/investing in a company worked on samp was you'd simply loan money out to an individual who owned something of value and provided money/profits who would then pay you a percentage of your investment value of the total worth of their business. About 80 to 90 percent of the time you were getting scammed/robbed when attempting to do this sort of RP and if you ever actually made any money out of your investments, it was rather easy for manipulation. There's no real solid way to keep track of what is bought for what money and what is sold for what money, it's way to easy to screw investors. And also, the company could just claim bankruptcy and well all the investors would lose their investments and start a new business. You'd need a solid court system to handle requests and defend contracts etc, it's as easy as a name change. But maybe there's a way you can make a stock market with company related businesses, just giving my opinion. I'm all in for new concepts and scripts that make the server unique for sure.

This already existed on LSRP for samp, you had to apply for a company and then the administration would set you up with company vehicles and everything else that made sense for your specific company. If you look on discord for LSRP, you can see an image in the snippets section that relates to employee payments. Mind you it'd be nice if they made an easier system for company owners to manage their vehicles etc, which I think they are already trying to do with GTA V such as "Employee of the month" which will be great!
