huh i wasnt asking for a revival of the samp server i was saying samp took 20 seconds to load and u were ingame pretty much instantly, as opposed to rageMP where it takes 5-10 minutes to load, leading to my point that discord is much more needed now because its a chore to hop ig

lol u guys are being disingenuous. before discord we had skype and before skype we had IRC. there's always been ooc mediums to organize roleplay not only that but gta5 is too big and cumbersome to facilitate fast dynamic rp. spending 10 minutes going through loading screens and getting your pc bricked only to navigate a colossal dystopian city in search for scraps of rp is not a viable thing u could boot samp in 20 seconds flat and be rping within 2 minutes of logging in which isnt the case here

when they remove at least half of the team leads that dont need to exist, simplify everything and stop doubling down on the realism

keep tapering but add/raise a minimum cap that allows for viable grinding so for example you will always be able to earn like 250 an hour after uve exhausted ur stuff all in all just stop focusing on trying to get a perfect economy lol. a perfect economy is fucking boring who cares if stuff gets inflated just put in systems which allow players to obtain assets without cash

but it is. it takes one moment to look at gtaw and see all the events & businesses that have spawned from there being a social media site lol mmartin himself knows this. he tested your hypothesis in like 2018 when he stopped hosting faceinvader after it shit the bed (under the assumption that more players would go ig) the reverse was shown though, people stopped going ig which is why he brought it back social media enables easier interaction between civilians and gangs. it gives reasons to feud, meet up, create businesses and advertise events in an organic way. the other option to this is to drive around a large server with 20 players hoping you'll happenstance your way into rp which just isnt going to happen. people would rather hop on gtaw where they can get into rp instantly whenever they want you need ways to facilitate rp and this is the easiest way of doing it

this has already been proven false with previous iterations of social media no social media actually prevents people logging from ig as they dont want to drive around in a desolate city all day searching for rp. its easier to find people to rp with and then go ig

been preaching this since the server came out glad its finally getting recognition as an issue you should also consider removing a lot of the script stores from the game and have them only exist at this hub, or if not that just create some new ones an apartment building, a clothing store, a tattoo store and a 24/7 all in one place would help generate a lot of foot traffic mirror park seems the best because its pretty contained. its essentially a town inside LS and that gives it a lot of appeal. the only issue i see here is that its a pain to get to and generally not a place people naturally pass by (which can be solved with what i said above)

the server has come leaps and bounds but its still a cumbersome annoying experience with a ridiculous amount of bureaucracy why come here and work hard, either through acquiring wealth or filling out a ridiculous amount of paperwork to get what you want when you can just stay on the other server where everything (even as a new player) is a fingertip away? i'm still having to visit 6 different clothing stores to customize my character. makeup is fucking annoying. i cant just straight up buy a cheap car to get around a massive empty city, no i have to sit there for 7 hours afking paychecks before i can lease one (if i havent already quit from the annoying ass dmv test) there is no environment where i can find rp unless its peak time and a business is open. the events team does absolutely nothing??? its a fresh server and there is zero events lol... 50% of the server's failure can be attributed solely to them ngl. theres permanent technical issues in play (this shit gets ddossed or suffers from a server killing rage bug that prevents players from logging in) seemingly every week its just not easy to hop on and circumvent

this lol easy and fun economy make the server easier to play combine all the schemes and boilerplate into 1 form (u ask for shit and u get it if u have a good idea) sell all clothes in in one place instead of separating them based on location change the clothes to a slider instead of a cumbersome click through 1000 different pages and icons system makeup should just be pick whatever you want (with a preview) and apply it for $100 instead of whatever the fuck it is now get rid of the weird ass company requirements. (if i have a good idea just let me have a business without making some cringe corporation first) leases map POIs (map a nice public park and do events there) have an events team that actually does something (they did 1 event in the opening 2 weeks lol????) incentivize logging in at peak time (increased governmental paychecks) simplify the hyper realistic systems u have in place make the dmv test easy i mean why would u make something needlessly complicated for entertainment lol?? people are just gonna quit when they waste their starting money on a dumbass test

punishments are too lax most people ARE here just to shoot most civilians migrated back to the other server so ur left primarily with cops and felons dire state indeed

its not just you this shit has been happening to many people but its always excused with "BuT CoPs Patrol DangeRoUs AreAs MaN" the answer to this is to report the cops to their cop friends and hope to get a response within the next month

nah, crime is disproportionately represented on lsrp and an active player involved in illegal rp (or situated near it) is inevitably gonna be the victim of some unfortunate situations. sure, career criminals are victims of circumstance IRL too, but at this rate? nah lol. + it takes way more effort to lead a faction so to have all that taken away from u over a temporary ig dispute? yeah idk. longevity is important to a lot of people i think im gonna say this too: shootouts are fun evading is fun hostage situations are fun the only times these events are not fun is when there's a massive power imbalance leading to constant victimization of the same people. i think this stuff can be fixed through other means

shit needs an ic social network site fast it should be one of the biggest priorities 4 the server rn ls is too big and ur rarely ever gonna happenstance ur way into rp. a social network site is a good way 2 get civi rpers ig and forming groups. it also lets gangs organically beef with one another as more feuds are created. businesses get created and advertised more too
