huh i wasnt asking for a revival of the samp server i was saying samp took 20 seconds to load and u were ingame pretty much instantly, as opposed to rageMP where it takes 5-10 minutes to load, leading to my point that discord is much more needed now because its a chore to hop ig

lol u guys are being disingenuous. before discord we had skype and before skype we had IRC. there's always been ooc mediums to organize roleplay not only that but gta5 is too big and cumbersome to facilitate fast dynamic rp. spending 10 minutes going through loading screens and getting your pc bricked only to navigate a colossal dystopian city in search for scraps of rp is not a viable thing u could boot samp in 20 seconds flat and be rping within 2 minutes of logging in which isnt the case here

when they remove at least half of the team leads that dont need to exist, simplify everything and stop doubling down on the realism

so ur idea is to not implement something that could potentially help the issue, but instead... keep things the way that they are? oh ok

of course inflation is happening theres no circulation or outgoing costs because of the low playbase. managing the economy to fix this will only worsen it for new players who join or come back. it isnt a bad thing allowing people to rp what they want lol paying loans != incentive to log ig they're two separate things confusing as to why ud adjust the economy to the miniscule amount of people who play now and not adjust the economy to the hoards of people you lost/want to regain fix the loan system lower overall car prices add very cheap beginner cars that you can outright purchase on a new character

gta rp is bigger than its ever been man people didnt outgrow the game they outgrew lsrp lol. i mean look at management theyve pretty much abandoned the project after a few setbacks. the only reasonable way i see this server succeeding is if they take it down and add some grandiose wow factor feature that actually separates it from gtaw sad coz the scripts they have now are of such high quality

keep tapering but add/raise a minimum cap that allows for viable grinding so for example you will always be able to earn like 250 an hour after uve exhausted ur stuff all in all just stop focusing on trying to get a perfect economy lol. a perfect economy is fucking boring who cares if stuff gets inflated just put in systems which allow players to obtain assets without cash

but it is. it takes one moment to look at gtaw and see all the events & businesses that have spawned from there being a social media site lol mmartin himself knows this. he tested your hypothesis in like 2018 when he stopped hosting faceinvader after it shit the bed (under the assumption that more players would go ig) the reverse was shown though, people stopped going ig which is why he brought it back social media enables easier interaction between civilians and gangs. it gives reasons to feud, meet up, create businesses and advertise events in an organic way. the other option to this is to drive around a large server with 20 players hoping you'll happenstance your way into rp which just isnt going to happen. people would rather hop on gtaw where they can get into rp instantly whenever they want you need ways to facilitate rp and this is the easiest way of doing it

this has already been proven false with previous iterations of social media no social media actually prevents people logging from ig as they dont want to drive around in a desolate city all day searching for rp. its easier to find people to rp with and then go ig
