You posted it in the general discussions board for everyone in the community to talk about and to give their opinion. If this was only for faction management, you should've PMed them your proposal. I do not see why you can not answer those questions on this thread, so that everyone else sees it and can discuss.

By the way, to add to this. On GTAW we barely had people who wanted to roleplay parole or probation, even when issued by the courts. Making a whole faction for this is just going to waste time for everyone involved. If there is not a parolee/probation online, then there is nothing to do. Timezones are an issue which made doing roleplay even harder. At peak time, we had 5 active files on parolees but that didn't mean they played every single day. You can also not do a checkup or a test every day on the same person because you will interrupt their roleplay and time. This doesn't even justify a faction on it's own.

Because I want to get an understanding in how versed you are in this topic, hence why I asked my questions that you avoided. I'd still like an answer to these questions, otherwise I doubt you'll be capable to lead such an organization. The reason why it should be explained is because you are making a suggestion for a faction. I am not sure if you have ever been in a position of setting up a faction or bureau, but you don't just put down a simple summary and then think you'll be convincing enough.

It seems to me that your goal is to lead an law enforcement agency by all the suggestions and the posts that you have made. Can you explain to me what the difference between probation and parole? What are you going to do on a day to day basis? How would a checkup on a parolee/probationer take place? With respect, what you've written is something that anyone can just write up with minimal research. I don't really see this as a serious suggestion by the fact that it's so little. You explain your background, then the faction's minimal background, then lay out basic information about what you will do and then some conclusion. Faction's don't get stumped out from the ground by a simple 500 word topic and I highly doubt you are going to convince anyone in this community without having a proper plan.

I believe the vote shows an overwhelming majority choosing for the first option, it replacing California. I'm personally not sure what Ben's reply answers when it comes to what we are roleplaying, other than that we are an island. Without all the political talk, I'd like to just see an answer with ''we are replacing California'' or ''we are not replacing California''.

Having a third LEO agency ''support'' them in their duties is only going to cause conflicts in terms of policies and procedures that are different. Sometimes having to deal with one other agency is already hard as it is, let alone two. Mentioning that your faction would be the Gruppe 6 of the LEO's is kinda turning me off, I'm not sure if that is a good selling point. You depend on both the agencies which in my opinion, a faction never should. A faction should be a standalone faction and can run independently. I stick with my previous post, if we want a third LEO, we should choose from one that fits the lore and the area better, when the time is right. This is a nice idea in my opinion, and you all will have to see it in action to truly understand.'' has been said a ton of times in previous communities when suggesting a similar idea. I remember a certain faction that started off like this but currently only has about 20 members and serves no real purpose.

Good overall guide, although I was under the impression it had more opioids listed due to your title. There are a lot more opioids around and available for people to use, either prescribed and/or obtained illegally. Coming down to Heroin. It is extremely addictive as opposed to other drugs. It enters your brain quickly and causes an fast, intense high. Once addicted, you'll have a long journey ahead to stop using it and to get clean. Methadon can be prescribed to treat the addiction of Heroin, however, Methadon comes with it's own tolerance an dependance.

I highly doubt this is something that the server needs or wants. We've all l seen what happened on W with a certain faction that tried to form themselves into a State Police. My advise to you right now would to be to either apply for the LSPD or the LSSD, both are recruiting at this moment.

I honestly had so many interactions that are nostalgic to me, dating back to 6 years ago. I recently went through my imgur album with all the pictures that I ever took and it brings a smile to my face every single time I go through them. Stuff like being dead nervous for the LSPD's post examination results to wearing the blue trainee uniform in the SASD as a DSG.

I understand where you are coming from but I'm not in favor of making an OOC restriction which makes it against server rules for legal role-players to do any form of gambling. I'm with you that the previous gambling scene shouldn't return. Just saying hit or stick and then cashing in is poor roleplay and should instead be addressed. Gambling businesses should have some kind of duty to help enforce said issues. Now, if it's made illegal per law, then you have something completely different in which legal role-players could still partake in the games, but with the risks that come with it.

played some of it after the 1.5 patch. i shot down a bunch of civilians and as i turn around suddenly there is a group of 5 police officers standing next to me. i ran away and in the next street everyone was walking like nothing has happened. honestly it feels like im still playing some kind of cheap ass game

I would like to see the foreign section expanded with actual sections, not sure if there is a reason why they aren't made yet. It holds obviously no priority.
