  1. Hey everyone, We've decided to once again move our release date. First and foremost, please accept our apologies. I understand the frustration everyone must be feeling, and you aren't alone. Our biggest challenge is time. Every release date we've set, whether February 24st or week of March 21st, has been calculated based on current development team availability which has proven to change unexpectedly more often than not, leading us to continue to undercalculate our progress and release timeframes. Nonetheless, I won't give you any excuses. We gave out a date and we should be expected to meet it, that is on us. Once again, we're sorry for the continued false promises. With that being said, the work hasn't stopped. We're very close to launching and I'm prepared to show you a sheet of outstanding features. You can see that list here: Features list The features listed are the current prerequisites to us launching. It's been a busy month for all of us in the development team but I'm still able to assure you that development is not going to and has never stopped. We're working hard to get this out. I hope everyone understands that we have never delayed because we want to but because we had to. At this time I am not prepared to give you another release date. I'll post another announcement as soon as I have that information. We'll continue to regularly post development snippets and update you as we make progress. Once again, please accept our most humble apologies and thank you for your understanding & your continued support. Thank you, Kane Lead Developer

  2. An unpopular opinion: The only GTA server where college RP has thrived is GTA:W - They've have had 30+ players online, every night for nearly 2 years. The only factions that come close to that are PD and SD, not even FD matches their numbers, so they must be doing something right. Rather than try and copy a faction that didn't work (USALS), it would make far more sense at taking what this faction did right and then see how it can be improved. The main issue is always going to be the lines of where acceptable criminality is drawn and I think you are on point when you said this: And obviously - it should be a crime-free zone on OOC level, BUT certain small crimes should be allowed for students only (acts of vandalism, small drug deals, fights, etc). This statement is absolutely how College RP should be - expressly around campus. As far as I know, this is how ULSA mostly operates on GTA:W - However GTA:W has a very strange notion of illegal factions vs legal factions - I think ULSA and any other faction is forced to play into this by their teams Legal Faction Management & this is where the cracks occur. The problem of Illegal vs Legal faction divides. There simply should never be a divide. You can have corrupt cops, you can have students who are borderline psychotic, and you can also have people caught up in gangs that aren't terrible murderers - there should NOT be a Legal / Illegal faction management, there should just be 'Faction Management'. Remove the divide and suddenly you open up for far more 'grey' area's that can lead to interesting character concepts and there being a far less black vs white take on Legal vs Illegal RP. (Also I think one of the reasons previous GTA:W servers are so incredibly toxic). Crime GTA:W aside - What I think we'd certainly agree on is that you can't have daily stabbings / shootings in high school or college RP or it just reduces it to the very worst of Davis RP and it will kill the faction off just as fast as your average gangbanger_01 faction. While some serious crime does occur at college campus', it's extremely small in number and murders are even more rare. Conclusion College and Highschool's should be Mostly considered a 'safe zone' - where fights should be restricted to brawls and the most regular crime being drug deals (as per the posters comments above).

  4. It's gonna fall of deaf ears, and likely won't get replied to. But how was it ever set to release in summer of last year, or even December, when there's that many features to do? I don't care to wait, I'm busy, but it seems random dates are just thrown out.

  10. Hey do you all mind telling me some suggestions, tips, and ideas you have to what I send below? So first, Los Santos County Bail Bonds will be a company that bails out arrestee’s who cannot bail themselves out. This will only be for people the Judge’s have offer bonds to. Inside of our company we have our own Fugitive Recovery Task Force. And that force is the force that goes out and find the missing individuals if they do not appear for court, make a weekly/monthly payment for our services, and more. We’d OOC’ly have them sign a contract and also in-character which permits us to invade their homes, seize property, and more. It’ll all be protected by the U.S Constitution. My other idea was San Andreas Highway Patrol which multiple individuals said wouldn’t work.. Most likely; so there’s a no for that one. Another future idea. I was thinking of after my company had became known and things around the city/county & everyone sees we have some intelligent ways, and great activity, we could become a legal faction. If we became a legal faction, this means, we’d upgrade to being San Andreas statewide Fugitive Recovery Agents. We’d be similar to the U.S Marshals but only under the County & City and we’d be serving the Government. So some examples are, a BOLO or APB is set out on a suspect, we’d have a team to go out there and locate them and bring them back to the Police Department or Sheriff’s Department to continue their arrest. We may receive bonus payment from the department themselves (Sheriff & CoP) but if not we’d be funded and paid by the government. The Statewide Task Force would not the authorized to patrol, it’ll be similar to SEB or SWAT.. Only used for operations. So if someone breaks from TTCF, we’d be on them as well.
