  1. Hello everyone, we've now reopened the SA-MP server for everyone again. This is a very poetic way to celebrate LS-RP's 17th birthday. Normally I'd get all into it teary and sentimental, but I just want to go ingame. To join: Make an account on our User Control Panel Fill out a character application (or just create a character if you already have one and want another) Download SA-MP 0.3.DL-R1 Connect to server.ls-rp.com:7777 using your account name ("UCP name") This is a very exciting evening, and I've to say that tonight is gonna be a real stress test for the server. Both from a technical and staffing OPV. We'll monitor for any issues and try to fix or mitigate them as soon as they occur. Please keep this in mind and I'm sure we'll iron out any major nuisances over the weekend. Can't wait to see you all in game! You have all the assets on your characters that you've had when the server closed. If you're missing a property or business, it's probably because it was sold for inactivity before the server closed. Also keep in mind we'll be extra vigilant re. poor reasons to kill and DM. You may want to hold off on any major conflicts, because punishments for any DM/PRTK in the days after launch will be ban. Notice re. PF licenses: Let's go gamers!

  2. Aaand we are back... We've made a few changes, both internally and in terms of the game's timeline by skipping ahead ten years, meaning any old characters we used to have are by now gone or have moved on to other things. This allows a new generation to take over and create new characters and stories while also leaving behind any unfinished business and starting fresh. If you're interested in joining us, join our Discord and come roleplay with us in-game. CK Permissions: Upon being invited to the faction in-game and gaining access to the majority of our Discord channels, it is understood that you consent to grant us the rights to CK your characters should the leadership of the faction deem it appropriate. 3. Metropolitan Division (Metro) "114" is the code number used to refer to the Los Santos Police Department's Metropolitan Division, also known as Metro. The Metro Division contains four platoons of specially-trained police officers, including the department's highly-trained Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team (also known as "D" Platoon). The primary responsibility of the Division is to support the Department's policing efforts by deploying additional crime suppression resources. Each platoon within Metro serves a different role in the Department, all with the common goal to reduce the incidence and the fear of crime. The Division is tasked with numerous crime-suppression assignments including providing crime suppression details, responding to high-risk barricaded situations, hostage situations, warrant service and assisting department personnel in solving major crimes.

  11. I was thinking that the character selection screen in SA-MP systems could be revamped. I have two ideas for the character selection screen. First Second I could adapt the character selection screen from LSRP-V to SA-MP. (( LSRP snippets image )) What do you think guys? @livid @Wrld999 @wdmcnr

  13. Premium members have had access to the SA-MP LS-RP server for a few days now, and I'm sure some of you have been wondering what exactly has been going on in the server so far, in this community update we will give an analysis of both the player and staff perspectives of how the pre-launch has gone so far! The Player Perspective: Our premium players have been active on the server, with a steady player base between 40-50 each day at peak hours. There has been activity at all hours of the day, and there has even been some business openings, including casinos and clubs, which have attracted plenty of players each time to make the businesses feel active. We also done a derby event which had a great turnout! PD and SD have been actively patrolling the streets and responding to 911 calls, I personally got a point on my license this week, whilst some others have been in stand offs with swat teams. People have been selling drugs and guns, and there has been plenty of in game faction meetings and roleplay. FD has also been active, sending out those paramedics to anyone who needs them! Civilian roleplayers have been active too, seen attending business openings and doing their daily trucker and mechanic runs. As well as posting their regular ads looking to buy/sell houses, businesses, and cars. There are also a lot of old factions that are returning, two big names include Little Tokyo and Roux Enterprise, each with plenty of returning members. There are many more huge factions on top of this that have said they are looking to return, with a lot of dedicated members. From the company perspective, there are also many returning companies, and there has been a lot of interest in new business leases too. Even with just premium members in the server there has been a lot of ongoing activity and the server has felt active, with plenty of motivation and roleplay from players, the server truly does feel just as it did when we played before, it's not just a hit of nostalgia! The Staff Perspective: The staff team has been pleased with the results of the SA-MP server so far, and our expectations with just the premium members alone have been more than satisfied! We have experienced staff members leading many important roles, which have all been active and working towards making the server run smoothly for the community. Superb, who is the Head of Commerce and Estate team, has been organising properties and businesses to go to auction, as well as getting in contact with companies to see who is still active, in order to make space for new people. The Commerce and Estate team has also been setting up business leases in game and has had a a constant communication with companies and factions to ensure that their needs are met for launch. Imperium has been leading the Legal Factions Team, ensuring that we have a strong and stable legal roleplay scene, and his work has paid off, as we're regularly seeing a good proportion of police online. The illegal faction council has been working with factions to check who will be active, and is able to support factions again where needed. The development team has been ensuring that the server is in the most stable state possible so that we can enjoy a smooth and crash-free official launch. To Conclude: LS-RP on SA-MP is running great, and it feels just like it did before it closed. We've had a lot of fun roleplaying on SA-MP again and we're all really excited for the public launch in just a few days, on the 17th of May, which just so happens to also be our 17th year anniversary. https://whendoeslsrpcomeout.com/ Hopefully this update has been insightful to what has been going on in game for the past few days, and with what we've experienced so far I am confident that LS-RP will be successful on SA-MP again. Thank you, see you in game soon! Community Engagement Team

  16. Despite Quincy's own success after Flex Next, his life took a dark turn when he became entangled in the criminal underworld of Los Santos. Tempted by the allure of quick money and the thrill of the streets, Quincy began associating with shady characters. One fateful night, during a routine traffic stop, Quincy was visibly anxious, his nervousness was evident in his facial expressions. Quincy was in possession of a large quantity of drugs hidden in his car. The officer shook him to the core, but before he could comprehend the gravity of the situation, panic set in. In a moment of desperation, Quincy made a split-second decision to flee the scene, resisting arrest in a reckless attempt to escape the consequences. As Quincy sped through the streets of Los Santos, pursued by police sirens blaring in the distance, fear and adrenaline coursed through his veins. The once vibrant cityscape blurred into a chaotic maze of uncertainty as he navigated alleyways and side streets in a desperate bid to evade capture. Despite his efforts to outrun fate, Quincy's flight came to a sudden halt when his car collided with a barrier, bringing his reckless journey to an abrupt end. Surrounded by flashing police lights and the harsh glare of reality, Quincy knew that there was no escaping the inevitable reckoning that awaited him. After serving several years behind bars, with the weight of his past still heavy on his shoulders, Quincy set out to rebuild his life, one beat at a time. Determined to pick up where he left off, Quincy set up a makeshift studio in a small apartment, dusting off his equipment and firing up his laptop. The familiar hum of the machinery filled the room, a comforting reminder of the life he had once known. With each keystroke and chord progression, Quincy felt a rush of peace, as if the music itself was setting him free. TO BE CONTINUED...
