  1. I agree. I also think that people are more invested into crimes and a DM mentality just because the playerbase is low at the moment. In addition to that, the lack of players highly contributes to making prison RP boring (as prisons themselves are empty) as well as to make us perceive a disproportionate amount of crimes committed per player. Once the playerbase starts going back up everything will sort itself out automatically. Realistically, 2-3 shootings in an hour per 400-500 players are nothing and is in fact what we used to have back on SAMP. With 50-60 players? It feels too much to handle. Couple that with players who intentionally want to disrupt the server and make accounts just to ruin other people's RP, and you get a good picture of what is actually going on at the moment.
  3. Locking and archiving this, we have stated several times that a SA-MP server won't be a thing. Although we appreciate your feedback it's time to just move on and accept reality. GTA 6 RP servers won't be a thing anytime soon, mainly because text-based servers are probably not the audience they will target first and due to all the intricacies said servers require, I highly doubt there will be a viable script from day one. In addition to that and it's what people fail to understand, GTA 6's map will be insanely huge and will probably make certain areas feel even more empty that GTA V's LS, which is the main reason that makes me believe people will continue playing on LS-based servers for a long time.
  4. I have heard this a lot, even the day we hit 120. The PB fluctuates and my group and I are still having fun by creating interesting scenarios. I don't believe you need 600 players to have fun, since most scenes barely hit 10 (except for clubs, etc.). It's all a psychological issue: if you see players on, you think there is a lot going on and give more "value" to the product since more people are "buying" it. I am not denying there are things that MUST be done, nor that there aren't any issues whatsoever (I am not that delusional), but sometimes people tend to forget that features can be good looking, with a nice UI and aesthetic, but if the mentality and the ability to create RP out of nothing isn't there, then no script will be sufficient enough, because people will always find something to complain about. I have led a community that averaged 80-90 players, with isolated peaks of 180-200, and despite being low according to the average LS-RP player, we managed to last several years uninterrupted with an overall good quality of RP and entertainment. I know what I am talking about, because I have witnessed it happening, both as an administrator and as a player. So is it a "skill issue"? Definitely, couple that with an objective need to restructure some features and implement new ones and you have a clear picture of the current situation. I don't put ALL the blame on the Dev or Management Teams, and I am not saying that just because I am a Tester. I have no filters when it comes to providing objective feedback. Some players are responsible too, although they might not want to hear that (after all, who wants to accept criticism if not a minority?).
  5. As MMartin said over Discord, we're having a community meeting real soon. Most of the issues you all have pointed out are on the to-do list already, some can be easily implemented, while others require more time to be developed.
  6. This is already on our list and we’re currently working to perfect the system. If you have any other suggestions feel free to post them, what other perks would you like to see?
  7. Can't wait to see Dr. House in action. Keep this up guys!
  8. I agree with you. As long as the entire process runs smoothly, cases are handled in a timely fashion and it doesn't stall RP for all the parties involved I am fine with implementing such system. Another thing I'd pay attention to is reducing the amount of paperwork involved: many players don't wanna go through bureaucracy just to have an enjoyable experience IG, so I'd try to develop a system that is both functional and easy to access for everyone.
  9. Ci ho giocato ancora poco, bravissimi però. Tanto passive RP e "ambience".
  10. Gus Ayala, LSPD Paul Abbruciato, Outsider Bellomo
  11. What do you mean with "Male characters who have the same negative attitude, etc..". Can you elaborate? And how is the police metagaming "like the SAMP days"? Do you have any evidence or reports supporting your claims? We could argue that some of your points are correct, but others are quite bold and difficult to accept as valid without supporting evidence. I don't see why negative attitude towards women IC is even a thing, it's not like we can enforce a more welcoming attitudine towards the opposite sex via OOC means.
  12. Keep it up guys, loved all the interactions we have had recently.
  13. You're right, there's a lot of space to fill out, but it takes tame. We're almost one month in and we're already experiencing a consistent in growth in terms of open activities and project where new player can get involved into.
  14. "Please stop, you'll read what is deemed "appropriate criticism" by those in power and if it doesn't align with what you want to read it'll be deemed the latter." We're clearly speaking different languages here because it was never my intent to act as the "elite" you have mentioned, nor I have discarded any criticism. The only thing I have said is that we are 100% reading and taking notes of any feedback you guys have provided (when behaving appropriately). I don't even know what you are on about, because I can ensure you I am quite the opposite of the "snob-ish-I-know-it-all" staff member you have mentioned. I'd suggest you go through my messages before making such bold claims. And how can one not be ironic when you are even making statements such as "failed launch", either you have attended Staff meetings when we discussed our expected results in the first months or it is quite evident that your claims have no documented evidence behind them. To each their own, I guess.
  15. The LSPD is now hiring, offering opportunities in both sworn and non-sworn roles! CLICK HERE!
  16. Beer, wine, moscow mule and gin lemon.
  17. I think we should find a balance between the two: LEO RP has definitely improved, but illegal factions must do their part too. I don't feel like patrolling in a gang-infested area is bad per-se, especially because all the interactions I have had so far have been amazing. In the past few days we lost a lot of suspects in pursuits, I have pulled out of several of them because my car got involved in TC's (even small ones!). So please do understand that we are trying to make it as fair as possible for you guys, but we expect the same quality of RP from gangs/illegal factions too. If you are in a pursuit and hit a wall or a pole, think if you should RP it or if it would be realistic for you to continue. Please note: I am not asking you to make it boring for yourself, we all do love police chases, so it is fine to enjoy them on a more arcade-ish level, but find a balance between pure and enjoyment for yourself and for the other parties involved. In addition to that, I do feel that your perception of our presence in gang areas is altered by two main factors: 1) The SD station is literally on Davis, meaning you will get to see a lot of patrols around the area, and even if it looks like someone is camping it may just be another Deputy/Officer who, for the past thirty minutes, spent his time patrolling on the other side of the city. 2) Illegal factions are often outnumbered, while they have 10-15 players online, SD and PD combined may have 20+, resulting in a more capillary presence.
