I'd rather change taxi job into an UBER job. Taxis are not that popular anymore, at least on RP servers. If people had an opportunity to find passengers, while driving their own car, I'm sure it'd be way more popular.

I ain't been around LSRP in Locotes days, I been watching Clonez11's videos and trying to find the skinpacks you guys were using. Those were the golden days, in my opinion. Funny enough, the first ever time I joined LS:RP - Locotes were doing a photoshoot with Mr. Grifo on Unity Station's tracks. I knew who he was from youtube clips - so I walked up to yall, asked for his autograph and dipped. I don't even remember what year it was lol. 2010? 2011? This is crazy how long ago that was. Fully commited to LS:RP in 2012, under names of Roller / Dreams & Nightmares, but we barely interacted I think. So yeah, you're an OG in my books. Good to see you here.

university University/College - Is there any future for this kind of RP?
dimes replied to top honky's topic in General Discussions
GTAW for you. They focus too hard on legal roleplay and they can't imagine anyone doing crimes in colleges or grow up a criminal after graduating. I'm not gonna namedrop, but there was people who kicked it with us often - mostly because we were the ones promoting sport rp, cheerleading rp, etc. In my opinion, those who got mad - they never had a chance to go to college/university IRL and they just want to enjoy the student life in game, at least, and they hated when someone didn't take full-time student rp serious. But to each their own, I guess. -

I've been in colleges on both SAMP LS:RP (USALS) and GTA:W (ULSA). Usually it turns out to be an OOC shitfest, when some people want to just rp around campus and be full time students and other people want to use the college as a development platform for their characters (mob, lspd, you name it). Me, @Street Boss, @Bellagio and few other guys joined ULSA on GTA:W and we got ton of hate the next few days, just because people knew we eventually gonna develop into illegal characters. So if the college's leadership acknowledges the fact that people want to develop through this platform, it'll be amazing - internships in various companies/departments, scholarships for athletes, etc etc. And obviously - it should be a crime-free zone on OOC level, BUT certain small crimes should be allowed for students only (acts of vandalism, small drug deals, fights, etc). P.S. Shoutout to Josh (Jack Ponaro) if he's still around. -
thought u long retired foo... brings me old ptp memories

Started playing seriously in 2012, but been watching the server closely since 2009, s/o Clonez's videos.

Exactly my thoughts. No. Not the current gen or gameplay-wise at least.

Got it for free on Epic Games. I prefer CIV 5 more, but 6 has more unique features. I'm a huge CIV fan, but it takes long ass time to finish one game, especially with same people. It took us a week or more to play 3-4 hours a day lol.

I agree about performance part. Honestly, I think mods like these could be useful, but should be discussed with South LS roleplayers, gangs etc (if we're talking about YBN type of hoods) - do they want it or not.

Star Wars Republic Commando was my fav one when I was a kid. BF2 was top tier too.

Playing solo is boring, I agree. I played it a lot, ever since it was a mod for Arma 2, but now you need a group of friends to have fun in it.

Honestly, I have a decent PC and @Kirill_Ustinov gifted me the game (appreciate you, homie), so I couldn't resist playing it at launch. Even though there was enough visual bugs, some of those I could fix, I really liked the game. I agree it was not worth all the hype around it, simply because developers were rushed to release the game, so they had to delete bunch of stuff from it (such as subway system, etc) - but I still liked it. It's not better than Witcher series, but I think they can still fix the situation they're in right now, simply because Witcher 3 took some time to get perfect too.

Agreed.

I just want the illegal roleplayers to use it more. Either import or export like fake clothes, jewelry, even drugs and weapons, bribe workers and stash stuff around. LS Port was usually focused on legal rp, I'm not sure if illegal rp was even allowed. So yeah, it could be an amazing opportunity for organized crime and not just a bunch of legal rpers roaming around.

That was THE trophy back in a day. I memba.

Who tf still plays it tho?

My first ever PC game. Started at Classic, then couple months later BC was released. My fav update all time. Stopped playing after Cataclysm I think, tried Classic remastered but it's boring now to play solo. Would try BC classic now, but as I said - it's not fun when you have nobody to play with. And the modern updates are just too much for me - a lot of shit on the screen and you just want to chill while playing.

Like what spots, fam?
-
Mostly the old community I know and illegal roleplay quality.
-
Yes. Like 10-15 of the most expensive/luxury models in GTA V universe. But the restriction should be strictly IC, though. Make them expensive AF, so players gonna think twice if they want to spend most of their wealth on one vehicle.

What do you want as donator perks?
dimes replied to A Glass of Jack Daniels's topic in General Discussions
I hated to donate simply to furnish a small crib on GTAW, for example. 50 slots were not enough and spending $10+ just to furnish one house was too much lmao. I don't know about masks - technically, you could get a mask from the mask shop that covers your face - that means even if your name is seen, it's still impossible to recognise who you are, if you're wearing a balaclava. So yeah, OOC masks could be a donator perk, since we still gonna have IC masks (bandanas, balaclavas, etc). And I swear, if I see BMX being a donator perk, I'll snap.
