  1. The main reason why I did not want to leave the businesses leasing open germanely was mainly down to the fact that I wanted to have players have the options of working for these businesses and becoming managers and employees, that's why I closed them down to try and get people to actually roleplay with businesses and getting businesses. But I'll see what I can do about keeping them up all the time.
  2. Hi there, Firstly let me introduce myself. So I'm currently running the Company Team alongside some other capable members within the staff team and hoping to make it what it is today. We have had countless suggestions since launching and each suggestion that has been presented to us we have tried to implement. I know a lot of you have had some doubts that there's no businesses open this sort of thing, but we're trying our best to accommodate this and the main reason for the active businesses being closed before-hand was to work out who was active and who wasn't so I could single them out and get rid of the in-active which has been done already hence the applications being open. Before responding to the thread - if you check the Active Company Scheme and the Passive Roleplay scheme that's currently in place to help out the company owners - and employees. We would like to get some feedback, and what we can do to improve the company team overall as the community's voice is important, and we care and want to take any feedback, and try get it implemented to benefit LS-RP.
  3. Active business applications more or less will be opening tomorrow - we understand the shortage of the businesses at the moment but we’ve been working behind the schemes to get things running to help support these businesses and we’ve been working on removing the inactive lot to being in a fresh set of businesses. So keep your eyes peeled 😊
  4. Congratulations all! Some good names on here, looking forward.
  5. I've had a lot of people complain regarding the six people having to be apart of the company before being considered - and this was mainly taken into consideration for smaller businesses such as bars, where we wouldn't expect these amount of players. Now I'm willing to relax that rule because it seems like this seems to be a massive issue. When we had the applications open last for these business leases, we had a lot of people apply that was in factions, now I can't help the flow of applicants that we have had from factions and applications for businesses and passive roleplay companies will be opening up in the next few days, as I'm going to be looking over the companies we have at the moment to see the activity that we have had so far as I want to try and get as many companies active as possible.. Keep the suggestions coming along as all I want to do is take your feedback into consideration! 🙂 I'll bring this up to Management's attention and see what can be done!
  6. I just want to add company related stuff to this just to make sure that you're aware of what's going on. In regards to the roster for opening a company/busienss as it mentions we expect big companies to have sort of six members but I know, I need to revisit this and look at other options as sometimes there's no need to have such a large amount of people such as bars etc. This is why we've been looking at it on case by case basis for now, but I know we've had a lot of people un-happy with that - so willing to see what I can do. Businesses - At the moment we're currently allowing all business leases to be reimbursed money for their advertisements and staff costs - so they can try profit as much money as possible for now, as we understand that businesses won't be able to profit until things get sorted - when it comes to the business itself they can charge a entrance fee, and this can be used via the /pos command - where the money will go straight into the company bank account. Passive Companies - We are trying to adapt by allowing players to own their own sort of passive roleplay companies, so if you own a construction business or a news agency for example, we will give you a grant so you can pay your employees for roleplaying. Rather than having to do scripted jobs. And this will also benefit the characters IC'ly, by building their relations and generally seeing good business roleplay. Business Furniture - that is currently free at the moment but come the 30th June 2023. We will be making the furniture payable so businesses will need to furnish their own businesses (But I'm going to see what I can discuss with management) - because obviously at the moment with the economy I feel like a lot of people will struggle to furnish their businesses. If you can throw any suggestions on how I can improve the company system, please come to me my PM's are a open book via the forums as I do want to improve what we have going at the moment.
  7. Vehicle prices are being worked on right now. The vehicle prices are going to be imitating in-real life prices for vehicles at the moment in California.
  8. Vehicle Finance System is in place for this. So you don't have to walk around everywhere. If your character cannot afford a expensive car with a expensive monthly cost - go for the cheaper option for realism purposes.
  9. The whole idea is to have the econemy as realistic as possible so what someone earns is what’s in the server right now (some of these missions are being changed and buffed to test and experiment) when it comes to the economy the whole plan was for players not to own their own vehicles or houses straight off the back that’s why there’s the finance system in place to give you the options to pay for the vehicle monthly rather than in a lump sum to have a realistic economy.
