  1. Rules of Engagement Update The Rules of Engagement for Illegal Factions have remained more or less the same throughout the history of LSRP with some tweaks and changes along the way to meet the community's feedback. We've had extensive discussions within Illegal Faction Team Public and our Illegal Faction Team/Council and as a result, we've updated the rules slightly. New factions are prohibited from provoking other factions and must be open for a minimum of 1 week before conducting an attack on any faction. (Previously, 2 weeks) If the newly formed faction is attacked first by an opposing faction, they may actively retaliate against them in a realistic manner that accommodates their faction's current development. It is worth to mention that newer factions shall not attempt to loophole around this clause by performing robberies or brawls with the intention of getting attacked by another faction and entering a faction war. ( To clarify, ALL factions are only being considered as 'opened' on launch date which is 17 May 2024. Meaning to abide by ROE, you should not be attacking until 24 May 2024 ) Only FOUR participants can be involved in any faction attack, this includes allies. As an attacking faction, you are to choose your weapons realistically based on the severity of the war.(Previously, 6 participants) These changes have been made, and are active in immediate effect. Any questions can be directed to our Illegal Faction Team, and if you'd like to have your input on illegal roleplay, we encourage anyone interested to send @Kev a PM on the forums expressing interest in joining Faction Team Public where you'll have access to discussions like these. Chop Shops & You The Chop Shop system was first introduced in 2012 and has been around since. At first, it was a part of the thief job however along the way it was amended to revolve around Official Factions. Since this was implemented, there hasn't exactly been direct guidance of what is expected from official factions who roleplay around the chop-shop in terms of roleplay and behavior, and perhaps some aspects of what is 'acceptable' has been forgotten. We've added the following rules to assist Official Factions in meeting the expectations for roleplay we have for them. Chain Robberies: It is not acceptable to spend all of your time going from car to car to commit chain robberies all day. You are expected as a representative of an official faction to be an example of proper roleplay to the community as a whole. Chain-robberies will result in admin punishment, and can put your factions Chop-Shop access at risk. You are expected to roleplay realistic vehicle robberies; doing a single /me and relying on the automated message for hotwiring is not adequate roleplay. Further to this, you're also expected to fully roleplay your actions when taking the vehicle into the chop-shop. Is your character/another faction member a mechanic? Where are the parts going ICly? It takes time to strip a car, and you're expected to roleplay this appropriately. Illegal Faction Council Lastly, I'd like to take a moment to thank @Helius for the massive amount of time and effort he's put in to Illegal Faction Council, helping us to get the Illegal Faction Team on its feet and creating a positive environment for IFC/IFT to ensure illegal roleplayers received the support they needed at launch. As he's now stepped out of the role we've decided to bring on @Spectre and @Kev to join myself and @Spanion on the Illegal Faction Council. Lastly, it has been brought to our attention that certain factions have been breaching ROE and continue to do so even after the above information was announced on our discord server. While myself, and other members of IFC/IFT understand how frustrating this can be, we need factions to start filing faction reports. It's next to impossible to fully investigate faction reports in-game as there are so many nuances, cooldowns and required evidence to consider before making a decision. By filling a faction report, you're helping us monitor and weed out factions that are not here to roleplay so that we can focus on supporting the ones who have taken the server's SAMP relaunch seriously. You can find the faction report section HERE.

  4. Lamont Johnson is an Afro-American male hailing from the projects of Cardinal Park, as a kid he was exposed to the local gang-members very early in life-- he was subjected to the norm at that point, he used to observe from a distance all day whilst he was assisting his father at their corner store. At the time of his adolesceence there was a gang withinthe area named the Eastside Hustler Crips. As a young child, the lights, water and other utilities were turned off in the home constantly. His family was struggling to survive. In order to eat-- he had to steal, even for clothes and other necessities. The younger part of his childhood was him being sent to juvenile, and placement upstate due to his reckless behaviour. He'd often get caught for minor stick ups and robberies. He would ditch school, even pick up a smoking habit from hanging around the older guys. He'd learn how to hustle and earn an extra buck, everything from weed to cocaine. He was so facinated with the elders affiliations and jewelry that he was ready to do the most to obtain that himself. Growing up in the projects, he was constantly seen hanging around the other juveniles, specially a guy from the neighbourhood called Tiny Slicc, they had grown up side by side. With his money making mindset and Lamonts will to be seen by the elders-- the duo spent their whole days trying to earn their respect. At first it was just them sitting on the porch watching the others-- a pipe dream if you must. They'd often get in trouble together, fight together, and other things teenagers did at the time. Even being expelled from school at one point due to a massive brawl. Being influenced by the older presence in the area, he quickly gained knowledge on the street game. CHAPTER 2: Lamont was soon offered a rag and the street-name Money by Big Smoove AKA G-Smoove as a nod to his effort in the streets. He was regarded as one of the top hustlers for someone in his generation. He was put on the frontlines of Slauson and Cardinal to lead the section back to it's glory-- this were the beginning of a new era where Money started his rags II riches journey. 10 YEARS LATER: Lamont Johnson at 29 years old Embraces the big homie image more as of recent. Has been responsible for getting a lot of the younger homie's heads on straight and putting money in their pocket. At the end of the day he still continues to use the younger generation to do some of his dirty work. Lamont has poor mental health overall and has continued to use drugs to keep him from completely losing it. He carries a guarded and cold persona to avoid dealing with his emotions although he's been able to latch onto a select few homies from the G-Homie/Infant generation. Dabbles mainly in gun running and drug dealing these days, often seen around his cousin Baby Money. He came up from being able to turn a profit from stolen vehicles and stomping on the drugs, almost doubling the amount in way where the fiend had a hard time telling the difference. Most of the homies don't know the innerworkings of these crime schemes but plenty benefit from them. Lamont's grown to understand the importance of diplomacy and politicking with other sets. A byproduct of his big homies, he's began to seek resolutions with sets as opposed to treating situations with the ignorance he once might have had. 5 YEARS LATER: Lamont at 33-35 Lamont's focus maintained to stay about getting money— which eventually they used to try and gain more activity on the 60s side. This often brought attention to the section— making them one of their main targets to the Los Santos Police Department. With this happening, this made a target on their backs— after surveiling them for a while they intercepted one of their shipments, a truckload full of cocaine, one of the departments biggest busts until this date. With this huge bust, and other charges and crimes committed by the group, the department took legal action against the group. Those who were caught and were affiliated, would catch a gang enhancement charge due to their affiliation, and after a while if building a case, they were brought to court. A total of 8 senior members of the gang were arrested, those included, Nigel "Baby Money" Crawford along with the deaths of Orion "Oreo" Foster and Money's baby brother "Telford "Scatter" Johnson— all senior members of the gang. Once Money and Keandre "Cannibal" Rucker got released they started taking back power with a new generation, but with a new generation came chaos— hereby is where the war escelated between the 38TH members and other less known sets around south central— an all out gang war. The word is that they're still fighting to keep their reign over the area with a new generation of members and Tiny Money at the front.

  6. The Real South Krew TRSK - (The Real South Krew) is a young tag team. It was formed by a group of teenagers, the first of their generation to fall under the influence of gangsters of the old generation. The territory of the tag team stretches along the area of the 38th street gang, it is not difficult to determine, because almost every recently empty wall has fresh tags indicating the control of these streets. In their tags, TRSK mentions and pays respect to 38th street. In recent years, the outskirts of south Los Santos, or as it is commonly called by the locals of these streets - Los Scandalos, have become one of the most dangerous places in the city due to frequent clashes between various factions. The strengthening of patrols also did not give any global result, and according to statistics it turns out that more than half of the detainees have links with criminal organized groups, and within thirty percent had problems with the law earlier. It was under these circumstances that the formation of the tag team began. The tag team was formed in 2021 by Layno "Lento" Gazzard and his school friends in order to give their company a name and engage in tagging on those spots that they claim in order to enhance the status of their team. Tags can be found on El Corona, often in the vicinity and only occasionally outside the teenagers' home area. cread: vadim zlobin

  8. El Corona has always been a stronghold for illicit activity, even during the First World War the area was known for not only its roughness but had a reputation for its high poverty rate although residents knew nothing of what was becoming of the neighborhood before the early 1920s. Residents of El Corona became more and more engrossed in ways that friends would come together and defend the area from gangs that were popping up at the time, gangs that included Big Hazard and White Fence but despite these events, the famous Zoot Suit Riots of the 1940s are what shone light on the 38th Street Gang in a way that would change the course of the gangs actions and reputation within Los Santos forever. The Sleepy Lagoon Murder consisted of multiple teenage 38th Street gang members brutally murdering a young boy by the name of Jose Diaz at a water reservoir which was often visited by gang members. 600 Mexican teenagers all over Los Santos were hauled up by LSPD for the heinous crime although eventually 22 members of the 38th Street Gang including some female affiliates were tried and the event would lead to the single largest mass trial on record in San Andreas. From 1999 up until around mid 2019, the 38th Street Gangs impact on the southern side of the city was devastating to not only the local residents but to law enforcement alike as new cliques flagging the neighborhood started popping up within the immediate area. The tiny locotes (TLS) were among the first clickas to originate out of the gang all the way back in the 1920s, now in current times there are over 12 different clickas across three different states all flagging for the same cause. In Los Santos, the 38th Street gang holds 6 sets; Tiny Locotes (TLS), Gardenas Locos (GLS), Krazy Katz (KZK), Tiny Winos (TWS), Pee Wee Gangsters (PWGS) & Tiny Diablas (TDS), each set with their own reputations and input on the lives they live. In 2019 a rival gang; Bounty Hunter Bloods (BHB) took their chances and sparked a war which would end up making national news with a body count of over 30 people over the course of a year, Oscar "Blueboy" Huerta along with other original new generation 38th Streeters at the time including Antonio "Shaggy" Merino, Andres "Casper" Artego, Joshua "Bugs" Pena, Owen "Stomper" Nereyo and the famous Dennis "Creeper" Grajeda engaged deep in the war between the two gangs, often plotting on ways to score points and cleanse the 38th Street flats of blacks. After a long and bloody war between two gangs that lasted almost two years, the 38th Streeters eventually managed to push back and take the flats with force which resulted in a mass shootout within the 38th Street car lot. After taking back control of the flats, another spark ignited only this time it was directed from the Eastside Hustler Crips (EHC). During this time of conflict, the 38th Street Gang were also up against a gang injunction order which made them prone to constant stop and searches and the avoidance of their friends due to the court order; making attacks on rival gangs 10 times as hard.

  11. Hello, Today we're releasing a game update for our RAGE Multiplayer server. This update has been in the works for weeks now and I'm happy to see it come to fruition now that the hectic preparation for SA-MP reopening is done. In 2.1, we're introducing a sought after TV feature. You're now able to watch videos ingame with your friends, fully synchronized. We were able to achieve this through RageMp's new CEF functions and collaboration with the W2G team. Besides that, we've also added over 900 new clothes that you can find around the city today. Special shoutout to @danut and @stringer who played the main roles in putting this update together. The full changelog is: [Game Update 2.1] - Added furniture based CEF TV system - Added 122 pants, 569 tops for females and 39 pants, 42 shoes, 193 tops for males - Added /reply, /rpm, /rp and /rep to reply to the latest PM - Added always prompting for spawning at the last location - Added physics to furniture doors - Removed /door - Changed breakin/burglary minigame - Changed vehicle names loading - Fixed chat color in company chat - Fixed nails overwriting faction uniform I'd also like to mention that we're hosting a Community Meeting this Sunday - 19th of May at 8 PM server time. You can RSVP and join here: https://discord.com/events/351090890456170498/1241114441559314452 . We'd like to talk a bit about how the SA-MP launch went, and what the plans are moving forward. Hope to see you there. Happy watching!

  12. This is the story of 16-year-old El Corona resident Pavel Sabala and his friends Lester and Daniel. Pavel lives in El Corona Village with his parents and two little brothers. Like most teenagers here, his life has a lot of quarrels and misunderstandings with his parents. One day, Pavel and Lester met a certain Killer from the Krazy Katz and quickly fell under his influence.

  25. Thank you for making the first comment on this topic and for reviewing the systems I've coded. Since most of the systems in the suggestions section are geared towards legal factions, we can consider the illegal side. I would like to address the systems you've mentioned one by one. One of the steps to create a better and more functional furniture system is to have a pictorial furniture catalog and more furniture objects. I have quite a few furniture models. I will file, photograph, and create a section in the system suggestions. I previously wrote to @danut about this, but he hasn't responded to me at all. He might be busy. Regarding the in-game TV system, here's what I can say. SA-MP has certain limits, and currently, it's not possible to create an in-game TV system in the current default SA-MP. Typically, a framework called CEF (Chromium Embedded Framework) is used for in-game TV systems. CEF is a simple framework for embedding Chromium-based browsers in other applications. There is a CEF mod in SA-MP, but its download size is large and it has certain issues. Additionally, no one would manually download CEF for a single feature. Maybe in the future, if Open Multiplayer brings CEF as a feature, it could be considered, but for now, it's impossible. Thank you @livid. (( This system working in 0.3.7-R1 version. This is a prototype, it needs improvement for 0.3DL-R1. )) If it receives attention (which I believe it will), we can develop a drug production system as big update to suggest to the LSRP managers.
