SA-MP built this community. I was one of the first admins here. I saw it grow from the ground up, and I’ll always respect the legends who built LS-RP on SA-MP. What they created is unmatched. The true foundation of GTA roleplay, still the gold standard to this day. Just a few years ago, it was damn near impossible to log into the server because it was so packed. Today? We're lucky if there’s 130 players online. Back then, 130 was dead, barely anyone around. That shows you how far we've fallen. And yet, some want to sideline the only platform that's ever worked just to chase a dead-end with RageMP? That's straight up delusional. RageMP isnt "an option". It's a graveyard. GTA 5 is about to get buried the moment GTA 6 drops, and while the smart communities are moving on, you're acting like it's the future Come on, wake up. SA-MP still holds untapped potential that no other platform can touch. The question isnt "could it work?". It does work, it has worked, and with the right push, it will dominate again. But none of that happens without US. This is more than just a server - It's our home, our culture, our community. We win by building together, by uniting behind one vision, one platform, one mission. If you want to be part of something real, stop fumbling both balls and start winning with the one platform that's proven itself time and time again. So to everyone here, respectfully: Let's back the legacy, fuel the comeback, and show the world why SA-MP is, and always will be the heart of GTA roleplay. Together, we rise. Devided we fall. - Packer4 points

SA-MP is timeless. That’s where the focus should be. I believe I speak for the majority when I say this.4 points

In the future, I suggest less over-the-top events and more laid-back, unique ones. Events of such nature were more appreciated back in the 2016 era, when we were all young, knew very little about hardcore roleplay, and many people roleplayed as DJs and artists. I have tons of event and business ideas, but I always find it difficult to pursue them given the current nature of "enterprise" roleplay on the server, which has been exacerbated by Wonderland. It sometimes feels like ROZE and AVIDITY are given special treatment just because they are led by admins. If I were to start an enterprise (or re-open one in my case), would I also be awarded the benefits that ROZE and AVIDITY are? Additionally, to host an event of such nature, what measures were taken ICly? I visited the faction threads of each, but there seemed to be very minimal roleplay surrounding Wonderland prior to the event. Did any enterprise incur any significant costs to set up the event ICly? Was there any /charity done? It just seems like this was an OOC motivated event, given an IC wrapper in the form of ROZE and AVIDITY, which just kills competition if we are going to proceed like this.4 points

Before adding a million people to the tester team make sure they’re actually useful and not toxic towards the same community they’re put to help. Also LSRP admins/testers should be supporting both SAMP and V (be actually active IG). Other than that good news.3 points

Subject: Clarification Regarding Recent Update Hi kosowarner, I hope you're doing well. I noticed your recent feedback regarding the latest update, specifically mentioning the addition of new police headquarters. I wanted to take a moment to clarify that there were no new police headquarters added in this update. Our team has been working hard to develop and enhance features that support and enrich the experience for all players, including those in illegal factions like gangs and organized crime. We value the input from our community and strive to make improvements that reflect your needs and interests. If there's any specific concern or misunderstanding regarding the update, please don't hesitate to point it out. We're more than happy to discuss and address any issues to ensure that everyone is on the same page. Thank you for your continued participation in the server, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Best regards, [Your Name] [Your Position]3 points

Congrats to all the staff members. As for Wonderland, it wasnt really my scene. But I did drop by to see what the event was all about because I like the effort by the team to try and breahte some fresh life into the server and to give events for people who aren't deeply invested into the illegal roleplay scene. It was a cool idea, personally I think the size of some of the costumes at the event got a little ridiculous, an huge pumpkin filling up the entire dancefloor got annoying quickly to anyone else in the area. You don't always land on your first shot, but that doesn't mean you should stop firing. Look forward to all future events. As you said yourself, the first event of SAMP since it's return and you've already learnt lessons. I look forward to the future.3 points

I think this is a good self criticism and apology, one thing/suggestion I do have is trying to find ways to cater events to be things that illegal players/factions can get involved in. While we shouldn't ignore civilian roleplayers, illegal roleplay is the heart of LSRP and what keeps it afloat. I went to Wonderland and checked it out, but it wasn't a good space for serious roleplay. As an example, Wonderland could've been a local hip hop music festival set on the basketball courts in East Los Santos, inside of Glen Park or an area with more space somewhere else in East Los, Ganton, South Central etc. This would be an event that illegal roleplayers would be able to seriously roleplay with and be involved in, I also think it would've been quite popular. Basically every gang faction has a few characters who roleplay as rappers, management or the events team could've gotten some of the main gang factions involved having them send their best rappers to preform at the event. For legal roleplayers, when you look at hip hop festivals in the US even smaller ones full of local talent they are backed by big businesses because ultimately it's very profitable. So companies like ROZE could have still sponsored the event and SAN could have still advertised it. Also hip-hop is the most popular genre in the US, all sorts of people listen to it and civilian roleplayers would also be able to attend the event just as music fans. This is just a quick example of how an event could be structured to appeal to illegal roleplayers while also not excluding legal roleplayers.3 points

From GodFather RP to LS-RP – A Story Worth Telling As LS-RP celebrates its 18th year, I can’t help but look back at where it all started for many of us. Long before this server became what it is today, we were just a bunch of passionate roleplayers trying to find our place, and for me, it all began with the GodFather RP server. Back then, around 2005 to 2007 if memory serves, we were all part of the same faction, the Cuneo faction, led by Jonathan Doe, and later taken over by Margus. We were a tight-knit group and honestly, we probably took the game a bit too seriously. By the time GF-RP reached its final days, Cuneo owned almost everything: player-owned houses, businesses, you name it. Margus even ran the only gun shop on the server and had stacked up close to 2 billion in-game dollars. It was a wild time. Eventually, things reached a boiling point. Some drama sparked between the scripters, Fear was the main one back then, and the server was wiped. When it relaunched, everything had changed. There were no name tags, no OOC hints, you had to actually talk to people and figure out who they were. It was immersive, chaotic, and completely unforgettable. After that wipe, Amef, K, and I decided to try something different. Me and Amef are real-life friends, and we had played with K on GF-RP. K knew some scripting, so we figured it was worth a shot to build something of our own. We launched a small server, hosted on K's backup PC at home, and within a month or so, we had over 50 players online at all times. The numbers kept climbing. I was just 17 years old, had recently quit school to look for work, but instead I found myself glued to the server with Amef, playing day and night to grow the community. Then Mow joined and offered to host the server on a better computer, and that pushed everything forward even more. One of the key people who joined us early on was Fed. He brought a lot of creativity to the scripting side and was responsible for developing one of the first versions of the vehicle system, along with many other features that helped set the server apart. His contributions laid a solid base for what came next and helped bring the world of LS-RP to life. Hreno stepped in with a huge amount of dedication. He wasn’t just helping out casually, he sometimes spent up to 14 hours a day coding to improve the server and push features forward. His commitment and effort during that phase were a massive part of the foundation. Following that, DamianC came on board. He was part of the SA-MP tester team at the time and brought a more structured and experienced approach to scripting. That was another major turning point that helped LS-RP grow into something truly stable and long-lasting. Fun fact for those who didn’t know: our first forum domain was kjelvik.net/forum, before we managed to scrape together enough money to buy the LS-RP.com domain. Humble beginnings for sure. We brought in most of the old GF-RP player base, including nearly all of the original Cuneo members, and from there we started doing what we loved most, mafia roleplay the old way. And now, all these years later, I also want to give massive respect to the current leadership. A huge shoutout to mmartin, who has been running the show as developer and owner for what feels like forever. The work, the consistency, and the dedication it takes to carry this community forward year after year is no small task. Thank you for taking LS-RP to this level and keeping it alive for a whole new generation to experience. So here’s to the old days To Jonathan Doe(R.I.P) and Margus, leaders of the Cuneo faction To the Cuneo crew and LS-RP beginning: SpitZ, Giorgio Moretti, Fed, Monty Carlo, Tobin Wright, Pxm, and Amef (and mostlikely many more) To the admins messing around To the grind, the fun, the chaos, the friendships, and the factions we built together To everyone who played a part, big or small And to mmartin and the current team for keeping the flame burning And of course, happy 18th birthday to LS-RP Here’s to another 18 years of chaos, stories, and community2 points

LS-RP just turned 18 today, congrats to everyone keeping it alive! Crazy to think I was one of the first admins back in the day, running the show before it was cool. Honestly, kinda wild how much I helped shape the place without even realizing it at the time. Feels good to see it still going strong after all these years. Many more to come!2 points
