Can we bring back the old playerbase count?
manslaughter replied to gyzo's topic in General Discussions
Waiting for that one staff member to swoop in here: "Ok you 5 year old children, we're done with the back and forth, we'll be watching comments because you can't formulate your own opinions and conversations" Follow by a bunch of removed posts/hidden shit Let's see if alooshy, Eren, or Jester sweep in -
Can we bring back the old playerbase count?

these admins are quick to close a faction more efficiently then to handle a request for a faction to receive some sort of assistance for roleplay. What makes all of you continuing too comment when they don't give a fuck about you, or this game (they as in most, if not all admins/testers on this shit). Then @JesterJrhas to play captain save a hoe cause hes the only admin remotely looking at this shit. You know what will make these useless, redundant admins leave? Close your factions, and stop playing lsrp. Again, they don't care about you or the server. It's evident. 2 out of 6 of the current official factions are active (EHC, 18th and Blanco are excellent factions but I can't imagine them wanting to continue to play when their suggestions and ideas are thrown to the trash, as evident via this 26 pages of unused recommendations). The admins purely don't care. LSRP has dropped it's standards when we started letting these shit factions constantly report, accepted sub-par roleplay and development, and put player count over factions/players ability to produce diverse and nuanced rp, creating more heavy based standards. Now look at the faction thread, I don't need to say anymore. I'm glad I got banned from this server, and I wouldn't be surprised if I got banned again for my comment. Admins despise dissent and disagreement, they sure as fuck despise your recommendations even more and it's obvious. -

For the server to improve, certain staff members need to shut up and take accountability, then implement. You’re a case in point. I wish I could just shut your ass down with proof but my account is banned. By the way, you were the most attentive/active during your time within IFM so don’t take it up the ass when it ain’t fucking you. I’m simply saying 2 things can be true at once, and IFM are/were a big factor to the failure of this server. This is coming from a faction leader who helped contribute to this server like others in this group, so I can say whatever df I want at a minimum. -

Literally missed the whole point/purpose of what I said. community, this is a fine example of why people leave/keep leaving and why you aren’t listened to. Flip (and many others with this mentality) have a toxic, continuous hatred for certain members. And when those certain members speak out they’re shunned and talked down to like children. instead of actually comprehending my post you took from it that I’m complaining about not getting strawmen, when it really was the fact that it took months to get an answers and then a bs denial when we were trying to find out how we can reapply and got denied. That shit flew over your thin ass head apparently. Whatever tho, y’all do you -

Relax bro. See how angry you got, if it was anyone else we’d be forum warned for “flaming and toxic attitude”. when df did I say leave it up to 1 or 2 people? I said leave a position of leadership to 1 or 2 people and then communicate and UTILIZE faction leaders as a committee or “board”, for a lack of words, to determine decisions made for factions. You’re barely touching 100 PB daily, you don’t need a whole IFM team. You’re not getting bombarded with major IFM requests every single second of the day. Maybe try and … idk, listen to the community saying the same shit over and over instead of trying to justify why we’re wrong and throwing lowball shots because what? You took 3-4 months to look at my factions strawmen app and then denied us because we’re “applying as a faction” or whatever bs you came up with. It demotivated factions/players when you continue like this. -

Hello, I’m one of the “banned players who creatde a toxic community here” the leftover scrape of pb still playing this keep regurgitating Anyone who didn’t follow the status quo: DMers That’s why the small leftover of this community keep harping on that redundant talking point. But those same ones y’all banned for “DM” left… then this whole topic started because the pb went to dog shit not long after. All that to say, we are hearing from individuals who don’t understand the true essence of roleplay. They’ll hop in for a couple hours, get some nice screens, do the same orchestrated rp and then do it again the next day. Little do they know is the amount of time/effort was put into development when our faction specifically couldn’t even get a business for 3 months, couldn’t get drugs on time, let alone approved for strawmen until about 3-4 months from submitting our app, get bombarded with forum reports for petty losses, couldn’t get answers for recommendations I submitted to IFM, got ignored when I asked about property management questions, started with literally $50,000 on returning to this server (we didn’t have legacy money like a lot of y’all), no property, no house, nothing. And we still outlasted and produced a lot of these shit factions who think they’re contributing anything other than numbers. LSRP use to put development and accurate RP respective to that factions dynamic on the forefront of the server. @DDaniels we can agree on one thing, it was never about script shit. It was about the passive, enjoyable rp conjured by a willingness to portray the most accurate character you can. It was fun that way. @Eren @Helius you won’t last long, and this will eventually die out. But at a minimum, you can salvage this and get a good start in 3 ways: 1. Put the management, leadership and testers up to a board. You have more chiefs than Indians, let the community vote for their administration. Give them say, a week or 2 and then get new, effective, result-driven staff in with in game time to back it. 2. Focus on the requests. It’s an easy short term fix. People start gaining assets (businesses, schemes, jobs, NEW ways to make money, etc) it’ll maintain if not maybe boost numbers and playability. Incentives, for easy money and scores. 3. Remove IFM as a whole. They’re useless and are not needed at all. Head of Factions . . Assistant HOF . . Consistent, effective communication with the current faction leaders still active, no position needed just fucking listen to them. -

i think having staff support for unofficial factions to continue to thrive and want to grow would help. I'd show you what my recommendations were to IFM but my account is banned. Updates like the last one, albeit a little late, but consistently put out would help maintain or grow a PB tremendously. But wtf do i know, the messiah of all rp has deemed me unfit to speak. Keep what's left of the server pleased and add fresh ideas to the table, active support from staff, not allowing factions to throw a barrage of reports for petty bs because they suck, etc. -

no ones reading all of this, you 40 year old virgin. Again, shit rpers with a little bit of shine now that they have no competition weening off a dying server who still lives with mommy and daddy (if u have one, but that way u turned out im sure he left you too) -

you're literally irrelevent. Keep having your homies jerk you off tho, since they're all testers now. You're per grade with Bellomo you inbred mutt I'm glad Martin dropped u like a bad habit, maybe you can learn to have a life now or maybe smell a little bit of pussy for once -

hey, go ahead and kumbaya this shit together, im just replying because im not gonna sit here and have factions/people like bellomo and co, with their below sub-par rp who contributed nothing throw pot shots because they have the platform now with a low PB and no competition along with the favoritism to do it, all the petty bs reports from an inactive faction that rp's a lcn organization like we're in 1942 Brooklyn NY other than that, i stand corrected. This thing will last centuries, im highly certain. keep it up fellas -

lsrp = kamala harris this last election, the damage was done, everyone still playing sells guns to eachother, pretends theres a chance for samp to thrive and know eachother oocly so its bland, generic rp but as others have said itll die off eventually. The update is cool but not enough to keep this going the players who speak out with hope are enjoying the esteem of having some sort of relevance in the server because the bulk have already left and the 140-150 left know this, but nostalgia fuel. What's even more wild is they are the loudest voices for a "vision for the future" topic edit: 9/10 their roleplay skills, portrayal and vernacular are dog shit, but hey, server needs the #s right now -
A VISION FOR THE FUTURE

This will be a read, but for those who care to read it then here we go. And I know, I was just banned, I'm a troll, etc etc. I put 6 months into a character's development and despite what anyone says my faction provided a ton of RP in many ways overtime. A lot of unofficial factions have as well both here and gone. You can look at a good majority (not all) of staff members whom hold a management position and haven't posted anything related to role playing or actually being in game and contributing some sort of rp. Their excuse, "we have a life", as if none of you playing have nothing going on beyond this game and just devote your time and soul into this (some of you do, but I digress). And no, screenshots aren't the metric used to showcase ones development, but it's a huge factor to the entertainment and portrayal that we all seek to have within our characters which is why almost all of us do it and take time to edit, etc. With that being said, a lot of the focus and actual development of the server itself lies with the management team. How does a staff team whom doesn't even provide consistent game updates, offer boring and redundant script additions/schemes, seldomly propose bland innovations in rewarding unique rp, and who constantly refute the lack of communication with the broader unofficial faction community, expect players who actually come ig for 2-3 hours a day to just purely RP and contribute? There's a lack of incentivizing, rewarding and nurturing new/stable factions which is why this conversation keeps coming up. I've proposed solutions when @Scumpy asked the unofficial faction leaders at the time a couple of months ago some things to improve on in IFM. I gave him my recommendations and got nothing from any staff members or IFM about my submission, or if any implementations were being discussed. Wtf was the point? Speaking of admins, look at these individuals post record. @Michael @badhbh @izumi I see a lot of forum reporting, wtf do ya'll do behind the scenes? Orchestrate the decrease in PB? We're barely getting quality updates, don't get me started on IFM implementations. Factions should be able to easily (24-48 hrs reply time frame) rp a score, something nuanced and elaborate and provide screens via discord to an IFM member for script money, without the tedious scheme application for each score. Factions lasting 3-4 months out of character should be able to own multiple businesses with less restrictions (obviously a limit here) without needing to go through the leasing process, and funded by the server. Basic and beneficial requests that are overlooked even though multiple people have probably said it. It's GTA SA, not a supreme court hearing. And you have IFM members to lean on heavily in making decisions because most of the guys outside of staff member IFM actually play the game consistently. What do you guys even rp, cause I have no clue what you guys do in an in-game perspective. Keep in mind folks, these are the individuals running the server as we speak and mainly all aspects of its success. Prove me wrong though. @Mmartin Where are donation money going to? Premium members money, and show me the updates that you guys keep saying "the players are asking for". Aren't you head of development? I had to keep answering that exact question because I got banned on 4 accounts, contributions of @Spectre. Galleani is one example of an illegal faction that for some reason keeps their official status, but could easily be toppled over by other factions official and unofficial. They should of been removed a long time ago for their inactivity and lack of contributions. And none of the accusations made by @trksthtmn3 even tho we had our issues were formally addressed. Yes, I made a staff report on him too, and it got shut down in what? 1-2 days time? You wonder why people have no faith and trust in you, since your takeover of the community, we've seen a drastic and steady decrease ultimately leading to lsrpv's failure and now soon to be this iteration. Maybe you're the root problem, but everyone who speaks out against you is scolded and banned. If you have read this long and I'm not banned for this then kudos to you. The funny thing about this whole debacle is that lsrpv failed epicly, and they think this will last. The pure definition of insanity right there. You want player retention? Should have listened to our requests/qualms. Want to embrace and promote the success of this role play? Should focus more on unofficial factions, 80% of the bloodline within this community. Until you can work on that part of this declining server, maybe you can retain what's left of the nostalgia pizza. Because at some point it'll run out, and that nostalgia fuel is gone whether you like it or not.
