I'll have time to reply properly later but what I'll say for now is that people should be cognizant of the tone they are bringing to this discussion, stop jumping to conclusions from a limited perspective, and treat one another with respect. If you are done with LSRP and think it's a lost cause that's fine but go find something better to do with your time than coming here to drag it down. Many of us still see potential and the purpose of this thread is for the community to work together to find solutions. There will always be differing opinions and as such no one will ever be 100% satisfied but that shouldn't stop us from having a constructive discussion about the best path forward for LSRP. Please stay on topic.9 points

There isn't any management to speak of. There hasn't been for years. Being in a management position implies having a vision that goes beyond what's in front of you at this very moment, it means being able to plan for the future, to set objectives and chart a somewhat cohesive strategy to achieve them. As this discussion, and countless others before, prove LS-RP, just like many other GTA RP communities, hasn't had something of the sort for about a decade at this point. Illegal factions wrestle in the metaphorical mud of the forums and tear each other to shreds in private Discord chats, complaining about how bad they have it, but at least there's long-standing concepts such as 38th Street or Valenti who honor the legacy of their predecessors and can carry an years-long narrative. Outside the fort there's no such luxuries, only a vast wasteland of concepts that sit uncared for, despite having been proven to be some of the most entertaining segments of LS-RP through the years, or groups that actively work to forget, rather than remember, without providing anything to replace that heritage. "Civilian" roleplay is an alien concept, gatekept by two or three Weyland-Yutani replicas with interests ranging from entertainment to trucking to private security, all done in the same shallow, boring, unimaginative and trite manner while having absolutely zero impact when it comes to creating roleplay. They just jump from one club opening to the next, from this delivery to the next, from mechanically checking a customer's /licenses to the next, and are all so similar and easily interchangeable that don't provide anything to the server, let alone a developing long-term story that can keep its members engaged and teach new players something about roleplaying captivating characters. The best the civilian scene can get is events like whatever the monstrosity called Wonderland was supposed to be, things that were already embarrassing when they were launched years ago. Government roleplay is all but dead. A faction that should serve, as historically has, as a port of call for newbies to learn the ropes about the server and roleplay in general has been all but forgotten, with legal faction management neglecting the implementation of ideas that can be easily portrayed in-game with minimal efforts such as a Public Works Department in favor of grand-standing, pointless contraptions like the Senate that require knowledgeable and capable players, which are in short supply these days. And even in the remote cases where such contraptions end up working they have been, time and again, either put under the control of a staff member who couldn't care less about roleplaying the Governor or immediately squashed for daring to try and roleplay instead of following the script set by the staff. Law enforcement roleplay is little more than a collection of tired concepts that have been around for literal decades and don't distinguish themselves in the slightest when compared to other communities. It's the same names, the same organizations, the same graphics, and in some cases, even the same people staffing them. Any attempt at diversifying or introducing concepts that, while not an exact 1:1 diorama of the real agencies, would bring more roleplay or more interactions (and thus potentially more players) are almost instantly shot down in the name of "realism" or some other buzzword, and characters are likewise encouraged to be one of the two or three different flavors of LAPD officer/ LASD deputy available to select from, with little room for deviation. Meanwhile the in-character history of the faction is relentlessly erased in favor of make-believe stories that not only never happened, but also seek to remove the efforts of those players who contributed to establish them and bring them where they are today (William Baxter was never LSPD Chief, but Michael Houston was). All of this is controlled by very nebulous groups of players with corporate names like Property Management Team, Economy Team, Faction Team, who, in addition to not being really accountable to anyone but the powers that be and operating under some unknown procedures, don't really set a course for the server to follow or come up with strategies to bring about a better experience as much as they respond to crises. And it's mostly because nobody gives a damn about anything but their own little slice of the server. Nobody seems to understand, or maybe care, that a formulaic law enforcement faction is inevitably going to ruin the experience for gangs and LCN groups alike and vice versa, or that the lack of a vibrant "civilian" scene makes the world feel more lifeless and akin to a Cops'n'Robbers server, or that even low-level government roleplay can provide a lot of scenarios for all the other factions to interact with. If you've seen The Wire, there's a line that should be implemented as the admin's oath of office: "We're building something here, we're building it from scratch. And all the pieces matter." What caused the fall of LS-RP, for three times in a row, wasn't the lack of scripts, or the outdated graphics, or the absence of this or that rule. It was, very simply, a lack of vision, a refusal to admit mistakes and improve, an indifference for things that don't directly affected the interests of those with decisional power, a stubborn denial of one's own faults followed by apologetic excuse and accusations of conspiracy against the server. It was complacency. And so LS-RP, the server once regarded not as one great place to roleplay at but the great place to roleplay at, fell, not because of its competitors, but because of its own rulers. I'd like to clear a few things up regarding this; part of this response was written by badhbh on behalf of the IFTC and Jack on behalf of the staff team. Re. Factions concerns: As Illegal Faction Council, we feel it's important to address a number of the statements made by trksthtmn in his post in the interest of clarity and transparency. Regarding the comments made about trksthtmn's concerns regarding current official factions; IFC as a whole are disappointed that trksthtmn would present the information he has gathered or believes he has gathered during his time as IFT in the manner he has. The Illegal Faction Council is aware of certain official factions not particularly upholding the standards we would expect from an official faction. We are currently steps to mitigate this, not only is there a full review being carried out by Illegal Faction Council but we're also going to be taking steps within the next month to issue warnings against all of the current Official factions regarding quality and activity and if no change or improvement is seen, these factions will be descripted by the end of November. Trksthtmn is part of the Illegal Faction Team and as such, has never been privy to the conversations or efforts going into reviewing these factions behind the scenes/within the Illegal Faction Council itself. Perhaps we're not working as quickly as he would personally like, however we each work full-time jobs, we're people just like the rest of you with lives outside of this community. The issues with these factions are often quite complex. If we were to go in and descript each official faction based on the personal opinion of one IFT member, where's the community in that? Since the relaunch of the server we've been incredibly careful with our decisions, let's not forget that we have already descripted official factions since relaunch due to quality concerns - but IFC believe we must provide these players with the opportunity to improve their standards/activity etc. This was presented in a negative light, however while you personally may believe a faction is undeserving of their official spot, these players have put months and months of work and development into their faction. It'd be a shame to disregard their efforts without giving them a chance to prove to IFC and the community that they are worthy of their spot on the server. There are more updates, and actions to be taken regarding these official factions who we feel are not contributing to the server in the way they should, as a community you will see these actions being carried out but we have never, and will never be announcing the reviews or behind the scenes activities of IFC. Toxicity is rampant, and as IFC we feel a certain level of decorum is needed from us to prevent things from getting out of hand. As many of you have read, there were a number of comments made about Spectre and his position within IFC. Shockingly, IFC are each allowed to hold their own personal opinions and voice them during discussions held on the Illegal Faction Team discord, forum boards and in PM's. Illegal Faction Council is made up of three people, who work closely with management to maintain the illegal faction scene. We have differences of opinions, and we're entitled to those. One of the points raised was that Spectre had stated none of the candidates were currently suitable for official. This opinion is not shared by IFC as a whole, and will not prevent us from reviewing the candidates as has been planned for weeks, once the current efforts to improve current faction standards and activity have been completed. Again, it's unfortunate that trksthtmn has not been included in these conversations as perhaps he wouldn't have presented the information as factual rather than the personal opinion of one community member. "Cashew was working on a script update for companies not long ago, which would have enhanced the company script and also added a company chat (similar to faction chat)." The way this information has been provided suggests we've disputed a number of features or large update to the company script as Illegal Faction Council. The update was one feature, company chat similar to /f. IFC as a whole were concerned that companies having immediate access to an OOC chat would result in demotivation for factions to strive for official as many of them run companies. I don't know how many of you have ever been in a faction that has been granted official, but the excitement of gaining your scripted faction and setting up /f has always been unique to official factions. It improves OOC interactions between your faction members, and while some may feel it's insignificant, it's a big part of the rewards an official faction receives. We did push against it, which resulted in those involved from the development side stating that they simply won't implement the update at all - despite us requesting that the company chat feature be used as a reward for longevity and high quality roleplay, just as /f is to the illegal faction scene. This was not our decision, nor our request. This was a decision taken by the developers/company team themselves to no longer implement it. "Spectre also argued against creating a council amongst the already established property & commerce team, which would have overseen the handling and distribution of businesses, houses, complexes and auctions." There's not alot that can be said about this, because it's simply untrue. There's been an established council for the Commerce & Estate team, which is overseen by Assistant Head of Operations/Head of Operations since the server relaunched - at a time that Spectre wasn't even part of Illegal Faction Council. The existence of this council has never been disputed by IFC. "I was informed that a member of Galleani (Spectre's faction), who holds significant responsibility as an upper-echelon (captain) was attempting to sell guns for OOC money via Discord to other players. ...my gut feeling was proven to be correct when no action was taken and instead Tadija was informed and went straight to dissing the person who told me." Illegal Faction Council take claims of OOC asset sales extremely seriously. Some of you will be aware of this, as some of you recently have been approached regarding the same topic. The issue was originally brought to Badhbh, who immediately reviewed the logs of the member in question. Not only did they not have any weapons on their character, they had logged in for less than 10 minutes throughout October. This was immediately informed to trksthtmn that no rules had been broken, but to bring it to Spectres attention so he can manage his faction as faction leadership. Spectre approached the member as both server admin, and faction leader to get to the bottom of these claims. As this member had only spoken to a select few in this way, it was quite easy for him to determine who reported their conversation. The accused member has made matters slightly more dramatic by claiming he has been banned for OOC sales, again untrue. As both admins, and IFC, we're unsure of what actions were expected to be taken against someone who has not broken server rules. Perhaps they were caught before getting the chance, but this doesn't change the fact that nothing punishable has been done. IFC are not going to speak on the current condition of Galleani (Spectre's faction) which was a large portion of trksthtmn's post. However, as stated in the beginning they along with all official factions will be subject to an activity and quality review throughout the month of November. Illegal Faction Council are by no means held to standards seperate to the rest of the official factions. We hope that this has addressed the concerns laid out in trksthtmn's post appropriately, and as always we're here to discuss concerns and queries. The best way to reach us is through our ticket system on the Illegal Faction Discord, or via. forum PM. Re. Staff points: We have a well-established system for monitoring staff activity, which is evaluated based on various metrics each month. All staff members have the same baseline responsibilities that everyone must fulfil monthly. Additionally, staff members who hold specialized roles, such as those in the Illegal Faction Council, Commerce & Real Estate, and other teams within the community, have their own set of responsibilities associated with these secondary positions. Leadership understands that not everyone can consistently meet every quota each month. We allow flexibility for those who demonstrate ongoing effort, even if they occasionally fall short of certain quotas. However, staff members who show no commitment or improvement will be relieved of their positions. without question. The RageMP server has always been an important strategic part of the community's future, and we’ve never shied away from it. We recognize that, in its current state, the server has "flopped" and isn’t receiving the traction we’d hoped for. We are actively working to "re-think" the RageMP server. We’ve been addressing all the pain points identified since our initial launch on June 16, 2023. It will take some time to resolve these issues, but before long, everyone will see the progress we’ve been making. I would refer you back to a blog post we made regarding the future of LS-RP, this still stands strong to this day: It's paradoxical in a way, as the RageMP server has received far far less attention than we'd like to, as it's been pretty much all hands on deck for SA-MP this year. This late point circles around. The main points of it have been addressed above. There is a lot of moving parts going on and nothing is final when it comes to RageMP, everything said in the above quote regarding splitting the teams in two is merely a suggestion on how we can move forward and ensure both sides of the community (SA-MP and RageMP) have all the resources they need to flourish. The point on marketing I will ask you go back up and read the points we've already made on that front. Misc points: The reason we aren't doing frequent email blasts has nothing to do with "budgeting" but rather marketing consent which is legally required for us to have to send our marketing emails. This is a legal requirement in the EU. Raymond was told this and this has been mentioned in the staff chat multiple times too. In-fact, everyone involved in marketing, whether current SA-MP (ROZE), past (Sal, others) or future (Helius, Conor, ...) have been told we can allocate a significant amount of LS-RP's revenue towards marketing, because we recognize its importance. We're currently also running ads, for example on Meta platforms. We've since decided to implement a marketing prompt on the UCP, this is something that's work in progress, but it won't let us acquire consent from players who aren't logging ingame/onto the UCP, so in the end it won't resolve the issue of cold-contact. As you can probably tell, the reason why the initial post was removed is because it contained several at best misleading, and at worst outright knowingly incorrect statements. It's a shame because we continue to work towards a healthier relationship between leadership and the community (and staff), and whenever this was brought up with staff members who were members of the staff many years ago, they all share the sentiment that the openness and approachability of leads is much better than it used to be. I'd like to encourage everyone to make informed opinions and take posts by disgruntled ex-staff members who've been removed for misconduct (after being given a 2nd chance) with a grain of salt.5 points

This was originally intended as a response to gyzo's "Can we bring back the old playerbase count?" topic but after I completed the post I felt it was worthy of its own topic. A VISION FOR THE FUTURE: Achieving peak LSRP activity numbers is probably an unrealistic goal given the landscape of the RP scene nowadays, but I do believe there are steps that can be taken to maintain and build upon the current player base. There have been plenty of solid ideas here and elsewhere on the forums that can help bring about positive change in different aspects of LSRP, but my post is going to be focused on the big picture and what all of us can do—players and admins alike—to help LSRP reach its true potential. To touch briefly on why I personally returned to LSRP: it was for Valenti much more so than it was for LSRP or SAMP. In the past, I have publicly voiced my displeasure with LSRP staff. I was very skeptical of the LSRP comeback and thought it was simply a last-ditch marketing gimmick for the GTAV server; I didn’t think it would be successful and had no interest in rejoining until countless Valenti members reached out urging me to reopen the faction. I went through with it and I’m glad I did because the server has exceeded our expectations so far and has allowed us to make a serious comeback as a faction. Upon our return with how accommodating the staff was setting us up with official status and swiftly handling requests, it was the first time since I joined Valenti in 2011 that I felt we were finally getting the respect we deserve as the longest-standing and most renowned faction on the server. Unfortunately, with lengthy delays and several questionable rulings against us recently, this feeling has dissipated to a degree, but I am still of the belief that the staff team is doing a better job than they have in most previous eras. Regardless of player count, LSRP still has major potential and I believe we can make this final era something special if we all work together. CULTURE SHIFT With that said, everyone needs to remember that the admins are volunteers and we need to adjust our expectations accordingly. The admin team makes LSRP possible and we need to be grateful for that. We need to squash this “us vs. them” mentality that drives a wedge between the players and admins, and we all need to start pulling the rope in the same direction. A clear vision for the future needs to be outlined and at the center of that needs to be a cultural shift that brings the community together as one team working towards the common goal of making the best role-play experience possible. LSRP having a smaller player base doesn’t mean the community doesn’t have room to grow and it isn’t something we should dwell on; instead, we need to look at this as a prime opportunity to build the foundation upon which the new era of LSRP can be built. The success of this server has always been a team effort and that will need to be even more pronounced this time around to ensure we have a community that is sustainable and has room to grow. FACTION SCENE The faction scene and the great factions in particular have always been the main driver of LSRP’s success. We are currently in a good spot with several long-standing official factions and some solid new factions on the come-up. This kind of continuity of characters and factions is key to creating an immersive, realistic, cohesive, and sustainable role-play environment. To maintain and improve upon the current state of the faction scene, everyone needs to play their part. To build strong, quality factions, people need to consider joining the existing factions instead of creating new ones. Only those who are experienced and qualified should be making new factions with the intent of filling a gap in the current faction scene, but we need to be cautious not to oversaturate certain genres. Faction leaders need to create factions with purpose and meaning, the average player needs to stay IC and focus on the realistic development of their character, and the admins need to incentivize, reward, and help facilitate quality role-play. The standard for achieving official status needs to remain high and admins shouldn’t feel pressured to lower the bar in order to appease to players out of desperation. High standards for official factions ensures a healthy faction scene and lowering the bar will create for weaker, unsustainable factions, as has been seen in the past. Unofficial factions now have plenty of schemes they can apply for and it’s certainly a good thing to reward good performance and give people the tools they need to role-play, but only the best faction(s) in each genre should represent LSRP as an official faction. On the other hand, toxic factions need to be disciplined, and if improvement isn’t seen in quick order, they need to be shut down. LSRP has been doing a good job with this as of late and I have seen the benefits first-hand in the LCN scene. The description of a long-time official crime family that was notorious for rule breaking and subpar role-play early on in the LSRP comeback set the tone. That faction in particular has since improved and are making positive contributions to the role-play. The recent shutdown of another toxic LCN faction was another step in the right direction. The LCN scene is experiencing one of its better eras right now and that is in large part thanks to LSRP bringing the hammer down on these problematic factions. In order to optimize the faction scene, I would like to suggest a revamp of the Faction Team structure as seen below: Head of Factions and/or Faction Team Council Official faction leaders (1 from each official faction) The most qualified admins and players with ample faction experience Testers/admins who serve the purpose of handling requests in a timely fashion The most notable change is the involvement of the official faction leaders. When LSRP was in its heyday and on an upward trajectory, there wasn’t a massive Faction Team; there was a Head of Factions who consulted the official faction leaders, which worked quite well at the time. The official faction leaders are a highly knowledgeable group and can bring great value to the Faction Team’s decision-making process. Additionally, this ensures all official factions are represented equally in the faction team and limits the potential for corruption. The Faction Team needs to consist of a healthy balance of players experienced in all the major genres. Many players (myself included) have grown increasingly frustrated with their suggestions falling on deaf ears over the years and, as such, don’t speak up like they used to and have no desire to seek out staff positions. LSRP acknowledging this and going out of their way to recruit the most suitable candidates for the Faction Team (and other staff divisions) would go a long way. ROLE-PLAY MINDSET Everyone needs to adopt the mindset of focusing on the realistic development of their characters. Stay in the moment and embrace every scene. The play-to-win mindset, trigger happiness and seeking quick thrills is not the best way to go about role-playing and it drags the server down. LSRP is marketed as a heavy role-play server and we need to back this up. Below I have linked two threads from the old forums related to this topic: (39) [Tutorial] A case for RPing realistically - Los Santos Roleplay (39) Realism + Character Development = Fun = Success - Los Santos Roleplay MARKETING Other posters have already outlined different approaches that can be taken to market the server and I am in agreement that this needs to be a major focus for staff. Aside from this, word of mouth will go a long way in bringing old players back to the server, but we all need to do our part to make the best role-play environment possible in order to lure people back. While I am of the opinion that the staff team has improved, there is still a stigma weighing them down and they need to continue making positive steps to repair their reputation for some players to ever consider a return. The admins also need to recognize the value many of the long-standing official factions bring from a marketing standpoint. Countless players have come through these factions and people who are otherwise disgruntled with LSRP staff can potentially be lured back by the prospect of rejoining their old faction and continuing their character’s story. Remove the red tape and let these historic factions thrive. PLAYER RETENTION Marketing is useless if we can’t retain the players we bring in. Having a strong faction scene will go a long way in attracting and retaining players. On top of this, the community needs to be welcoming and the game needs to be as user-friendly as possible. LSRP does a good job of allowing players to have creative freedom, but there are still plenty of instances of the admin team being overbearing on people’s creativity. Remove unnecessary restrictions and applications; allow players to craft their characters as they see fit within reason. Factions and players who have made mass contributions to the server over the years should especially be given the benefit of the doubt and more leeway. As others have stated, having the current script-based jobs as the main moneymakers for new players won’t cut it. The government needs to have funding available for companies so that money can be earned through actual role-play as opposed to mindlessly farming scripted jobs. I suggest the introduction of a new staff division or a “buddy system” of sorts committed to helping new players learn the ropes not only in regards to the game itself but also how to role-play realistically and develop a character. We need to focus on retaining players who are here to role-play and develop a realistic character. It’s usually quite easy to decipher between someone who is here to role-play and someone who is not. Discipline and ban rulebreakers/toxic players who only serve to disrupt the experience of real role-players; LSRP being lenient with these types of players out of desperation to keep the player count up is counterproductive. Additionally, LSRP needs to be cautious with how much time they put into the GTAV server. I’m not sure if this explains the recent increase in wait times, but the increased focus on GTAV certainly had a damning effect on the SAMP server last time around and history tends to repeat itself. GTAV is covered, but there is clearly still an appetite for SAMP and thankfully LSRP has filled that void for now. Most of us are here because we aren’t interested in GTAV. The SAMP server, in my opinion, should be the top priority; don’t take it for granted. TL;DR Role-play is a collaborative game and people need to stop being so selfish. Take responsibility yourself, regardless of your role on the server, and think about how you can positively contribute to the community. Focus on role-playing and developing your character realistically. We need to come together as one team to create the best role-play experience possible for the success of LSRP going forward.2 points

Moments ago I was banned again. My point was that I am being banned for offering my side of events despite having both first and second hand proof via screenshots of conversations with other members of staff, including lead admins and management. This is something that Michael is aware of and that Mmartin is forcefully censoring me for. Unfortunately I cannot add images via attachment on a mobile device and therefore I invite anybody who wishes to see said evidence to message me via Discord and I will be more than happy to oblige requests. Mmartin claims I never raised these concerns to him, however has a reputation for not responding to PMs. Michael and badhbh were both aware of some albeit not all issues. I am called a liar despite having this evidence to back my claims up and am still being banned on my main and alternative accounts simply because it is easier to bury the truth than to acknowledge it or take action. My original post was made with the intention of action being taken against some questionable things server wide and therefore information was withheld due to not wanting to further demolish a failing community. This will be my final post - anybody who seeks this proof to counter this allegation that I am apparently a toxic liar are free to do so. Do not waste your time and do not settle for censorship. This is not a communist state, it is supposed to be a gaming community wherein we are all transparent. I had not leaked staff material not broken any rules worthy of a ban. Love and respect to all the real.2 points

Why don't we start somewhere simple? Busato made this thread. How about you just read the OP, think of ways to change the script that make this server more catered to realism, get on board with the old "we want realism" mindset and we go from there. Your staff, theyre working and growing. Your players, they're waining, and dying. Give trksthtmn a pass for going public with information you can't be sued for, reinstate him, he's fair. Punish the ones who made OOC money off of IC things, thats mixing. Clean up all the shit that derailed Busatos thread and reopen that post, this way we can finish talking about what Martin brought up. We should be able to move this discussion off of Martins thread, Im sure this isnt what he wanted to see.2 points

You don't have to bother. Your original post is in the previous replies; and considering you've a nefarious agenda of spreading lies and toxicity in the community, I'll skip the hassle for all of us. We're always open to critical discussion, but since you've chosen the path of spreading misleading information, lying and leaking, it crosses the line where there isn't much discussion to be had with you. Anyone else who has actual, constructive feedback or wishes to engage in discussion that will benefit the community, the door's (like always) open in my, and other leads' DMs. Keep in mind that bashing and leaks won't be allowed or left posted openly.2 points

This. As a faction leader, I see the blatant reluctancy of doing anything over the bare minimum. You literally have to chase them to get the bare minimum. Not to mention the ridiculous amount of staff members being unable to monitor a dead 100 man server. Incase of rule breaking, the community member is supposed to be an investigative admin and gather enough evidence just for the forum report to be handled and dismissed by the reported party’s admin buddy.2 points

I really liked this post, I thought it was honest, grounded in reality and provided good feedback. I really liked that it also challenged us the playerbase. Before LSRP closed in 2021, I like many players absolutely hated LSRP staff, I would rant about them any chance I got and go on tirades on the forums. This is not because I'm a player who was ajailed a million times (I've never been ajailed or banned since joining in 2015) but because I loved the server and felt like they didn't have the servers best interests at heart. There was some truth to this, LSRP staff at the time were hard to reach, uncommunicative and would often act before consulting the player base. When the server returned, I decided to give LSRP staff another chance still being doubtful however, I've been genuinely surprised at how much more communicative, open, and willing the staff team has been to listening to the playerbase. I think a part of this was because they were forced into being this way, but I also believe that the staff team does want to see this server succeed, why else would they bring it back? Many players however, have not given the staff team a chance, I still see many players who shit on the server at any chance and refuse to turn their complaints into suggestions on the forums. I can understand why the frustration exists, like I said I was once similarly frustrated, but before you quit or log in to mass DM and get banned, I beg you to try to communicate with the staff team or post a suggestion to the forums about the change you wish to see. The server is far from perfect, there have been decisions made since it returned that I disagree with but I do genuinely feel LSRP in 2024 is a place where you can voice your opinion and be heard. Power to the Players In line with that and suggestions in the thread, I encourage the staff team to continue to pursue the opinions and thoughts from players at every turn. To see the collective thoughts of the playerbase as a tool to grow, develop and improve the server. The life of the server is dependent on the factions on it, in 2021 when LSRP died it was because just about every major faction quit in protest in a short time span. Factions are the life blood of the server, they show new players the ropes, they create roleplay and it's what the vast majority of the server logs in for. Improving their experience and working with them has to be the priority. Consult faction leaders, talk with new players about their experience, hell even poll the player base about certain decisions and directions the server takes (I know this has occured some). Don't just give power to the players on the forums or discord however, but in game as well. Within reason, the creativity and ideas of players needs to be unleashed. With such a small playerbase I see no reason why if a player has a good idea which creates roleplay and is realistic with their characters development for it to be unsupported. If a mafia faction wants to do a construction project in Dillimore let them, if a gang wants to own a strip club in their neighborhood but doesn't have the funds OOC give it to them rather than letting it sit unused, if someone wants to start a country club in Las Venturas support it. These things only help the server grow, create roleplay and improve the player and faction experience. I have never understood why things like LSGOV have been unsupported by the staff for years when it can serve as an great outlet to empower players ideas in character.2 points

Just fyi for transparency I have also asked the question about why posts are being censored/hidden - I’ve been assured by leadership that, and I quote, “it will be addressed from every point and paragraph they’ve made, it’ll be to the staff team and the wider community” Wouldn’t have been my decision personally, but that’s where we’re at. By all means please continue having discussions but if yous just insult and bitch at each other then the posts are going to get removed, be civil pls1 point

Player oriented, realistic/sensible roleplay focused Less bureaucracy More assistance and understanding from administrators to factions, I can’t get help with a chop shop and it’s access for months now, that doesn’t help anybody or make them eager to roleplay1 point
