OOC INFORMATION Miyazaki-Dōmei 宮崎同盟 is a fictional criminal organization which is inspired by Japanese-American diaspora networks and "traditional" Yakuza ideology. This faction is not portraying a direct Yakuza branch from Japan, but rather a localized syndicate which operates independently in LS and of course, it is shaped by cultural heritage, modern American influences, and street-level realities. The focus of the faction is on portraying a realistic criminal environment, which draws from real-world diasporan models similar to those of Southeastern European factions, like, Southeastern European and East Asian groups which are active abroad. All recruitment is handled strictly IC. We value character development, respect for continuity, and we adhere to all server rules. The Insane Crips (IC), also known as the Insane Crips Gang (ICG), are the largest African-American street gang based on the East Side of Long Beach, California. Primarily located in Central Long Beach, the gang originated around 21st Street and Lewis Avenue, eventually expanding to surrounding neighborhoods. Affiliated with the 3x Trays alliance, the Insane Crips are known for wearing Oakland Raiders (formerly Los Angeles Raiders) apparel, with black and gray as their signature colors. A subgroup known as the Baby Insane clique is distinguished by their use of Cleveland Indians apparel and is known for adopting red as their primary color. This includes accurate representations of real-life gang affiliations, terminology, and behavioral norms, with a focus on immersive and respectful storytelling. This approach is designed not to glorify criminal activity, but to provide a realistic framework that respects the complexity of urban life, identity, and socio-political environments in historically marginalized communities. COMMUNITY AWARDS 2025 The highly requested community awards have finally made a return! This is an old tradition that we used to do on our old forums. With the return of the Community Awards in 2025, we have decided to do things a bit differently from previous years. This time around, if you win a category, you will receive an award badge on your forum profile corresponding to the category that you won. This award badge will remain with your profile forever. In some categories the badge can only be won by one person, whilst in other categories, the corresponding badge can be won and applied to all members of an entire faction or company. This year the community awards isn't just a popularity content (although some categories will still cover this), but we also have categories that are won based on activity stats, such as "Most Active Unofficial Illegal Faction of 2025", or even view counts on videos. Starting today, you will be able to find the Community Awards 2025 survey on the UCP, where you will be able to vote for your top picks for any of the votable categories. You don't need to vote for all categories, but after you click submit, you will be unable to change your votes. If you would like to enter a stat-based category, you will need to fill out the form found near the bottom of this post and send it to @ROZE. Your faction/company and all of it's members will then be eligible to win the award. Some of the stat based categories only consider stats over the next 2 weeks, meaning if you are a new faction/company, you will still have a chance to win. BY SIB STAFF / JUNE 08, 2025 SHERIFF WESTBORO PROMOTES COMMANDER GEISBAUER TO DIVISION CHIEF, NOW SERVING AS HIS CHIEF OF STAFF Sheriff Westboro announced the appointment of Robert E. Geisbauer to the rank of Division Chief of the Los Santos County Sheriff’s Department, effective June 2025. Chief Geisbauer, a 30-year veteran of the Department, now leads the Office of the Sheriff, where he is responsible for executive-level coordination of departmental initiatives, strategic planning, and oversight of special projects, in addition to providing direct and ongoing support to the Sheriff. “Chief Geisbauer is a trusted, principled leader whose decades of service and dedication to this Department speak for themselves,” said Sheriff Westboro. “His vision, commitment to integrity, and relentless drive for excellence make him the ideal choice to help lead our agency forward as we continue to serve the people of Los Santos County with transparency, accountability, and professionalism.” Chief Geisbauer’s career in law enforcement began more than 30 years ago with the Los Santos County Sheriff’s Department. He has served in multiple assignments, including Patrol Operations, the Professional Standards Division, and the Administrative Services Division. As Captain, Geisbauer led the Internal Affairs Bureau, where he directed sensitive administrative and criminal investigations and oversaw the Department’s legal arm, the Advocacy Unit. He also served as Coordinator for the Basic Sergeant Supervisory School, modernizing the leadership curriculum and introducing new evaluation models to enhance readiness among first-line supervisors. Promoted to Commander in May 2025, Geisbauer assumed oversight of both the Administrative Services Division and the Professional Standards Division, where he led efforts in departmental training, policy compliance, and ethics oversight. He played a key role in aligning internal accountability with countywide governance and performance standards. Appointed Division Chief the following month, Geisbauer now leads high-level operational planning and the implementation of strategic initiatives in close coordination with the Sheriff. His efforts help ensure the Department remains focused on its mission to protect and serve the community while fostering professional excellence across all levels of the organization. Throughout his career, Chief Geisbauer has emphasized professional ethics, leadership development, and organizational accountability. He holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and Organizational Leadership, is a graduate of POST Command College Class 52, and maintains several advanced law enforcement certifications. Although not as territorial as other gangs, the skinheads have presence in the area. Members can be found on Ambrose Street and Oak Hill Road, as well as local trailer parks. They tend to be more mobile than other gangs in the area. The crime they commit revolves around the manufacturing and distribution of crystal methamphetamine. It's the number one choice drug for all white gangs. Other hardcore drugs such as heroin are also prevalent. Assaults, burglaries, and robberies are other common activities. Anything which is deemed worthy of solidifying the gang's reputation, is carried out by the members.
