The heads of the official faction team must act swiftly to make unofficial factions official before the playerbase fully dwindles. Delaying this process risks further stagnation, as players become disillusioned with a lack of fresh roleplay opportunities. New factions bring innovation, excitement, and dynamic storytelling, which are essential for maintaining player engagement. Without these additions, the server risks becoming repetitive and uninspiring, causing both veteran players and newcomers to lose interest. By promoting new factions, the team can reinvigorate the community, attracting new players and keeping the server alive. Timely recognition of these factions is crucial to preserving the server's growth and ensuring it doesn’t fade into irrelevance. TLDR; Make unofficial factions who deserve it official before the server dies out fully.4 points

Much like some of our faces still around I'm from the first generation of lsrp, y'all have it too easy, back then we had nothing, but we loved it, because it's a roleplay server and that's what we were expected to do, use our imagination and roleplay. Unfortunately the community only thrives with creators, a lot of you have lost your imagination and creativity, find it. Not disregarding anything else in this thread And kudos to those that do create, because you're an asset to the server.4 points

This is the realest shit I’ve read from an admin. This is exactly what’s wrong, and I don’t think it’s anything to do with the losing the ability to create RP. Personally, I think the new generation never HAD the ability to create such things. I think people have been spoilt with new generation stuff, Ragemp and the millions of features. All the little things that mean fuck all in RP but actually takeaway from the imagination. The already scripted actions when you do a certain command. There’s a feature on GTA world that when you take a drug, you get bombarded with 4 lines of how you’d feel etc. I remember back in the day having to research that shit, I had no clue what certain drugs made you feel. We had to make our own shit up and go from there. I don’t just mean that specific scenario. There’s too many scripts and people expect it from an old generation game, it’s crazy. RP is out of the window. Too many people care about customisation, how their character looks, like it’s fucking sims. They care too much about taking a loss, they don’t care much about development and growth. They want to spawn in somebody that they’ve seen on TV and not have the story behind them to get there. Nobody builds their own story anymore. And screens, what the fuck is all this about screens having to be absolutely perfect? So long as you can showcase it, who the fuck cares really?! The problem we have today is: Original players feel they’re owed this top OG status, because they’ve done their time in LS-RP. New players (SOME, don’t fucking cry) don't have a fucking clue about roleplay and what it takes. It’s meant to be a long road, not just something you can achieve over night. Momentarily, I’d put LSRP under the same category as NGRP when that was in its prime. That is diabolical. This is mainly down to the admin team unfortunately, they’re allowing too much and doing too little. It feels there is no stability, and people are sick to fuck of DM and watching people get away with it. Mass DM should be an instant ban. Poor portrayal should be admin jail. There should be major punishment for those that do not adhere to game rules. Game rules that need changing also. Not that I want to target people, but why is brown pride even still a faction? I’ve never seen such a shit show in one faction in all of my life. I’ll probs get bombarded with “you cant say that, you’re breaking rules, that’s offensive”. Personally, I don’t care, I think it’s what the world needs. Someone to say it exactly how it is. I don’t have a problem with them personally, but every single encounter has been very very questionable. Moving on, because that one topic could last weeks… There is no “vision for the future” if the staff cannot even open their eyes. Especially leading staff, such as Mmartin. If you want a community, and to carry on earning $$$? Start listening to YOUR community and make a change to the majority. Then there will be a future and not 84 players at peak time. When LSRP relaunched, it hit numbers and could still hit numbers. You need to get back to basics, turn LSRP back into a hardcore roleplay server and start listening to those who actually care. Stop thinking quantity, but quality. Then there will be server might actually start rebuilding again. It will only decline if it carries on going the way it is, now is the time to make a change.3 points

Most of this topic seems to revolve around illegal factions, and how they were handled by server staff, so I feel I have to chime in too — as someone who has primarily role-played around law enforcement for nearly a decade. LFM has always been doo-doo under all the different leaderships on LS:RP, and it was no different this time around. Being extremely anal about stupid things like drivebying (which no one seems to even care about anymore. I wonder why?) while failing to address the larger issue of poor role-play standards, leadership and their activity (or lack thereof), and general incompetency. Poor leadership from faction leaders, coupled with LFM's inability to intervene, drove a lot of good legal role-players away: some left immediately, and others left eventually after realizing LFM, as it always has been, is incompetent and will not intervene. The only ones left now are those who "persevered through" a/k/a sat there until everyone competent left and they were the only ones left to be promoted. I don't want to be a "back in my days" type of guy, but most of these guys were/would be hard stuck as a P2/Generalist in PD/SD "back in my days," but have managed to find their way to the upper echelons of leadership simply because there's no one else. This was an okay-ish strategy on Rage to retain the little players it had, but it was terrible for the return of SAMP because they drove away a lot of the returning (and often more competent) players. These low standards have also trickled down to the rank and file, making role-play with law enforcement generally an incredibly frustrating experience. You can't stay in-game for 10 minutes without some bastard with his wall hacks pulling you over for the umpteenth time and screaming "Pennsylvania vs. Mimms" to pull you out of the car and initiate a gunfight. I don't even wanna go into the optics of "parole agents" conducting traffic stops, engaging in pursuits, and drivebying from their cars. I guess LS:RP finally got its third law enforcement faction, not in the form of SAHP or FBI, but SADCR, in some weird way. I'm personally not of the opinion that the server can be saved anymore. The server's been up for more than 6 months now (?) and it could've definitely been helped when the first two or three warning signs popped up. But when you ignore the blaring sign for the tenth time and just hope everything fixes itself, you've reached the point of no return. This is specially the case for LS:RP, which has a history of ignorantly repeating this cycle. All that said, LSPD does seem to be in a better place than it has ever been, at least in terms of its management. As for other factions, they have never been worse.2 points

This thread with follow the development of Joy Jones, a.k.a 'JayJay' / 'Princess' Property Of Paul Briscoe Supporter of Barons MC *Joy Jones in late 2024, "The Outsider", Flint County, San Andreas" --- *Joy Jones in early 2024, Flint County, San Andreas* Joy Serena Jones was born in 1999 to Amy Jones and Edward 'Pirate' Stone in San Fernando Valley, California. Her mother owned a bar called "The Iron Steed," which eventually turned into a 'biker bar' due to its clientele, primarily members of motorcycle clubs such as 'Straight Satans MC,' 'Satan Slaves MC,' and 'El Forasteros MC.' Joy lived on the second floor of the bar, which also served as their apartment. However, her favorite time was spent downstairs, getting to know the bikers, listening to their stories, and becoming familiar with the so-called 'MC World.' Since Amy's bar became the bikers' favorite spot, they referred to her as the 'Queen of Booze.' Over time, they also changed Joy's nickname from 'Little Jay Jay' to 'Princess.' Her father, Edward Stone, was a patch holder in the 'Filthy Bastards Motorcycle Club.' He left the San Fernando Valley without notice and moved to San Andreas two years after Joy was born, cutting off all contact with both her and Amy. As a result of her upbringing, Joy developed a 'tough' persona to impress the bar's patrons, distancing herself from her more feminine side. She often acted rude, neglected her appearance, and embodied a tomboyish vibe. When Amy was on her deathbed, she gave Joy a note she had received from Edward, which read: "[BLUEBERRY - HANGMAN]." Now, Joy has moved to Flint County, San Andreas, to begin her journey to find her father. *Joy Jones in 2017, San Fernando Valley, California* (Left - 'California' Paul Briscoe / Right - Joy 'Princess' Jones)1 point

It's funny you mention Brown Pride because we had a few of their members trying our trailers every single day to check our /cmdspot for weapons during the early hours when none (or barely any) of us were IG. They've reportedly been back a few times since being killed, which only happened in the first place because I'd rather take things IC and avoid the spastic process of reporting. That is the extent of their capabilities of a faction and in terms of roleplay. I wouldn't worry about the backlash of commenting on factions because really, and I'm not trying to shit talk but rather be honest, half if not more are seriously lacking and could be classed as low budget comedy acts at best; unfortunately, we can't refund our time spent viewing like we could on money spent on tickets, though.1 point
