Thoughts on ped skins?

I’m also gonna put my support in favour of ped skins. It does limit clothing options but the difference in body types and heights etc is something that I think everyone would value. Age too. 
 

Most folks spent long enough on SAMP wearing the same clothes every day, so that’s the compromise that would be needed. 
 

Obviously adding body type and height modifiers to the GTA online character would be ideal too, but I don’t know how doable that is.

I agree with this, but some peds does have an option to change their clothing and face, I've tested it myself.

General consensus- yes to ped skins! More variety=more realistic characters and RP. Don't see why we wouldn't have 'em.

Usually a few per skin, but the Franklin - Michael, and Trevor one has like around 30 extra clothing and extra haircuts, etc.

Ped skins should be mandatory, let's not restrict them to staff members or limited players and let some variety flow around the server.

Right now I think main priority is to get the server up and running. Anything like this should be after launch as not a crucial thing.

Getting on the character customization server reminded me of how much I hate GTAV's version of it. Any word on when/if we're gonna get ped skins? All the hairstyles look like complete ass and I don't want to regress to spamming /ame's so I can properly RP a fat character.

yes they can, most ped skins have diff outfits available.

some ped's can, okay, some can't. It is a job to go testing which one can, that does not have bugs, failures, or anything. the first thing would be to have the server online, then it could be considered a good suggestion in my opinion.

All of them can. Each pedestrian model in the game was made with several alternative faces and outfits, and unlike Gta Online skins, they're completely bug free.

Bumping this, considering a lot of the players want a ped skin option included.

And for those who are wondering, yes each ped can change their clothes, hairstyle & headstyle.
