Hearts of Iron IV and Valheim.

I suppose that after this answer from someone who's actually involved and is part of LSPD/SASD faction, there's nothing else we should be talking about this VOIP situation. If you feel (when the server launches) someone has PG'd or it's not fair, it's something up to you to make a report or whatever, but if we keep talking over and over about it, we'll keep going around this topic forever, since it's something really personal about whether you feel in disadvantage or not. As already said, they have strict rules and protocols regarding VOIP usage, so guys, move on.

Couldn't agree more with you. Being in legal or illegal RP, it's damn fun to RP a system like that, plus, it would open doors for legal RP as you both said, such as judges, lawyers, prosecutors, etc. Totally up for this.

Foreign section actually working. I love this section.

He meant while the driver focuses on driving, the passenger is the one responsible for the radio, such as updating the location, asking for back up, etc, like it is in real life. I don't know much about LAPD/LSPD but where I used to work, it worked like that. Usually, while the driver is the younger police officer, the passenger and responsible for the team is the older and experienced one (when you work with 2 police officers in the car).

Rethinking the approach towards civilian role play
RafaSilva15 replied to Apophis's topic in General Discussions
Despite being out of the roleplay scenario for some time, I guess when it comes to roleplay, it's all based on the old and good common sense. If we consider the real life, of course we shouldn't drop and abandon illegal factions, but we've way more normal and common civilians than people involved with illegal stuff, and it should be like that. While providing a good environment for factions(even scriptwise), I think there should be way more opportunities for civilian RP, such as job opportunity, ways to make cash, investments, etc, because not everyone wants to join mafias or gangs, neither be involved with police department, they simply want to roleplay camping or going for a hike with friends, as I've seen in other servers. I saw people talking about a new government, LS port and some other kind of opportunities for civilian RP. As some of the guys said, LS-RP has been in the market for a long time, having a good experience with mistakes and right choices, and now we have a MP that gives us a ton of cool stuff to do as we all saw in the snippets so I think we should give it a chance and wait for what they are preparing for us. If I know them well, it's gonna be dope as it has always been in the old SA-MP. -
To be honest, I'm pretty excited about a lot of things. The main one I guess is RPing again with some old friends and, despite a few years have passed (10-11 to be more exact hehe), get that nostalgic feeling I had when I first joined LS-RP. Also, now we have the chance not only to show but to have everything we always imagined back in SA-MP, such as cars, maps, mods, customizations, etc other than only /me, /do and install mods for everything, now, we can actually have it. I remember when we used to put a description of our characters in /ame, now we can really customize it however we want, along with a lot of things. I have a damn good feeling about it and can't wait to make it happen.

LS-RP:V Release Date (emotional) (shocking)
RafaSilva15 commented on Mmartin's blog entry in Announcements
First impressions are what really counts. It's way better to wait a little and launch something with quality than let something all buggy and missing a lot of features that would improve the RP. Despite being hyped for this, take your time, guys. We all know we're going to have something really good when it comes out. -

Despite not being in the Police Department faction, if you allow me to discuss about it, I'd like to do so. Specially about your questions. It's tough to organize what's going to be taught for recruits in the academy. In a realistic way, it doesn't matter what you taught them in the training, nothing is enough nor good enough to prepare a police officer for what's he going to find in the streets. As a police officer myself in real life, I spent almost 1 year and a half learning about laws, tactics, creating emergency calls scenarios and, even with the help and guidance of experienced police officers, even it coming close to reality, nothing compares with what you find every time you answer to a call. Even though some calls might resemble to what you saw during academy, it has its own particularities that only with time and street knowledge you'll learn how to deal with it. And even after 30 years working a police officer, you still find something new every day.

🇧🇷 Sup y'all. Glad to see this amazing server back in GTA V. Been around LS-RP between 2010-2013, but still managed to find some old faces even after almost 10 years, it's damn nice. Let's make it happen.
