Yeah, hopefully gambling is brought back. It's definitely a fun way to enjoy the game. Some-thing that should be heavily checked up on is the actual role-play done there. Maybe have admins receive notifications about poker games that have started to occasionally check up on them and make sure that it is all role-played. I mean, you shouldn't have to do a /me line each call, fold or check you make but a /me line here and there about folding and doing something other than just sitting like a robot would be necessary. I hope they bring the option for players to be able to host gambling sessions again. Nowadays, many organized crime groups run their own gambling games, such as blackjack or poker in their own businesses in order to make some money on the side. Plenty businesses have also been shut down because of that. It would bring some fun role-play for the detectives of both PD and SD to role-play around as well.

I wouldn't actually do that. I feel like if there's a new faction that does not have the best screenshots or the best thread, they'll be frowned upon and certain groups or individuals will be "funny" and spam their thread and posts with down-votes. The communities I've been part of that have a negative reputation system usually end up with some people being hated for having a negative reputation score, which isn't the best display to people and will eventually cause some of these people to leave because they don't feel welcome here. Constructive criticism is a possibility for people who you think require a "down-vote" and I feel like that should be how it goes. Beside that, currently the reputation system does not even allow reputation to be negative and it is a bit of a hassle to work out a way for negative reputation to be included with a down-thumb emote.

Well, after your post, we have gotten two updates in the span of about 3 weeks. We've also gotten another community post just today as LS-RP is preparing for a launch, hiring more staff members to deal with the numbers. I hope you've gotten your answer for it. One thing that did kind of disturb me here is the fact that you compare LS-RP V to GTA VI. GTA VI has plenty more developers working on it compared to LSRP V and it's an extremely weird way to compare these two. The test git channel shows what is being done etc. Now, the staff team along with early supporters have been testing the server. There have been screenshots and videos released from how it is looking right now and it looks as if we're moving towards a release. The staff team shouldn't give us a "time" of opening as previously we've seen that certain issues will lead to the server not opening when there's a set date. There are still bugs that come from testing that need to be fixed. The development team is working hard to fix any big bugs that could hinder the server right now. Sure, Mmartin could've released a bugged server, but what good is it for the staff team to deal with people making a /helpme every fifteen seconds about a bug that the team is very well aware of, but can't be fixed in the span of an hour. The development team has their own real lives to take care of and there's plenty of people who think that it's not the case. Give them some time and it will be out. I know it has been said countless times, but I think that it's coming out for real now and I personally have gotten back the motivation and actual hype that I had when I was initially going to release.
