  1. Howdy gamers, Today marks an incredible milestone for our community - Los Santos Roleplay is now eighteen years old. That’s old enough to vote, drive, purchase alcohol in most of the world (shout-out US of A), or take out a an unfavorable loan to finance a vehicle that’ll drop in value by half the moment you drive it off the lot. Yay! Around this time last year, when LS-RP was turning 17, we re-released our San Andreas Multiplayer server. Although it’s been a whirlwind of a year since then, I must say re-launching SA-MP has been one of the best decisions we’ve ever made - which is something to say, considering I was adamantly against it until last minute. I feel our unsuccessful effort to transition into GTA V throughout 2023-2024 humbled us a lot. We learned a great deal about our approach to the community and how to prioritize our efforts so they’re as impactful as they can be. I’ve said this before, but I can’t overstate how happy I am with the place LS-RP is in currently. Not without flaws for sure, however after years of looking at descending trendlines, barring the occasional boost (RAGE launch, SA-MP relaunch), we’re finally seeing organic, steady growth month over month, for the past half year or so. A statistic that keeps surprising me every time I remember it is that over half of the players who play our SA-MP server today have never played LS-RP before we relaunched the SA-MP. That really goes to show this platform is still thriving and gives us the drive to continue improving it for a long time to come. Credit where credit is due, none of this would be possible without the amazing staff we have, and the passionate, engaged community which keeps pushing the envelope year by year, and day by day. So shout-out to all of you, and an even louder shout-out to people who refuse to simply embrace the status quo but instead choose to actively look for ways how to improve the community and our servers. I do my best to surround myself with people like that, as comfort and complacency are my (and LS-RP’s) worst enemies. To bring you some RAGE updates - we’re currently working on the last few features to finish before relaunch. We’ll be integrating the new Insider scheme shortly as we enter a testing phase to make sure all the features our RAGE team has worked on tirelessly for the past year work well. I’m stoked to show you some of the features and mechanics we came up with. There’s so much more I want to say in regards to RAGE, however as I mentioned a good few times previously, I’ve learned from my mistakes and I won’t speak on them too soon. But we’re close. Very close. Birthday Giveaway To celebrate LS-RP turning 18, we’re also giving away a month of free Premium membership to 18 of our players. Each hour spent in-game between 17th of May 2025 00:00 GMT+1 and 31st of May 2025 23:59 GMT+1 including, translates into 1 ticket for the giveaway. The more tickets you collect, the better chance of winning you have! Winners will be drawn on June 1st, 2025. We restrict the right to remove a player from the giveaway pool at our discretion, for example but not limited to if evidence is found of abusing the system to avoid AFK kicks, excessive AFK kicks, or if the player is banned at the time of drawing. No purchase is necessary to enter the giveaway, as LS-RP is free to play. Premium members do not receive preferential treatment during drawing. All players, including staff members have equal probability of winning per amount of tickets collected. Happy birthday, LS-RP, here’s to another 18!

  2. Hey all, I hope the start of the spring term is bringing out everyone's good moods now we're coming out of the gloomy rainy weather. We've got quite a bit to get through for this update, so stick around and have a good read through. First and foremost I'd like to share some positive stats; our SA-MP server has been doing very well in the last few months which can also be seen in the time spent in-game and the average peaks we reach every day. Just for comparison, here's two graphs showing the total playtime and peaks evolving over the last ~3 months: Happy to see it! I'll say the vibes both in-game and within the community just feel much more healthy and positive than they did come end of last year. I've to say I'm happy with where the community is headed in general. Private Skins Last week we launched a long-requested and anticipated premium feature: Private Skins. You can now upload your own skin mod (.dff and .txd) to use on the SA-MP server. Everyone will see your skin in-game! To request a Private Skin, head over to the UCP > Premium Central > Private Skins. We implemented a strict approval process to make sure silly skins don't get in-game (you MAY see me in a Mr. Bean skin on admin duty, sorry immersion frogs). We will only approve skins that are appropriate and do not break any server rules. We also intend on this being an exclusive feature, since we don't want everyone on the server having to download hundreds of unused private skins when they log in. You can read the Private Skin Rules here. Illegal Faction Team Update We'd like to start be announcing the return of The Bellantonio Crime Family as an official faction once again. Some of you may be aware that Bellantonio have had their fair share of issues in the past, however they've worked tirelessly to produce high quality roleplay for the server ever since. Following several months of candidacy, we're happy to announce their return - Welcome back! 🦊🍷 Further to this, to shed some light on a recent post which had an effect on Official Factions in general. Stockpiling has become quite a serious issue which the Illegal Faction Council are taking steps to resolve. This month, Official Factions were subject to an In-Character event which has been implemented in collaboration with PD & SD leadership in order to provide roleplay for everyone involved rather than implementing these restrictions as an OOC measure. Moving forward, Official Factions (and scheme holders) will be subject to limited amounts of weapons through their warehouses and schemes. We understand almost everyone, including the general playerbase, has incredible stashes from pre-closure of SAMP however this has been compounded by the fact that warehouses are still available to Official Factions, leading to these stashes growing instead of depleting over recent months. Moving forward, warehouse access and logs will be under scrutiny from the Illegal Faction Council as we hope to achieve some reduction in stockpiling, and improve the flow of guns throughout the server. Following feedback from our Illegal Faction Team, we're also working on increasing the weapon price agreement. Right now, weapons are being bought at very low profit margins and sold on by the buyers for ludacris prices. The increase in the weapon agreement only applies to Official Faction & Scheme Holders to allow them to reap actual benefit from the sale of weapons. This is subject to review/change and will be closely monitored and enforced by the Illegal Faction Team & Council. This will be announced once the figures are finalised. Schemes: Illegal Faction Team have been working hard on a number of things throughout this month. In December-January, a number of schemes were put on the back-burner as adjustments were required before they could reopen. Drug Scheme, Strawman Scheme, Melee Scheme and Turf Requests have all been assigned a new 'Head of' each respective scheme. Drug Scheme and Strawman for both faction and solo roleplayers have opened this month, and accepted candidates have been selected and set up. We hope to regularly open these schemes moving forward to keep rewarding players for showcasing high quality roleplay, and activity on the server. We've also been working with @Rye and @Scumpy who oversee Scenario Scheme applications, and have introduced a new use for the scheme as a temporary measure in place of scripted drug manufacturing. Players who are approve in their application can now roleplay the manufacturing of crack cocaine and through the scheme, an admin will then reward them with crack in place of their cocaine. Our Scenario Schemes are extremely flexible, and we'll always do our best to try to support those who apply for it. If you have an idea you believe the Scenario Scheme can help with, please feel free to apply. For more information, please click here. Drug Decay: Drug decay is back by popular demand! We announced this approximately two weeks ago, and allowed for a two week grace period before the decay kicks in. As of 29 March 2025, decay is live - while IFC & the general community would've preferred for all stashes from prior to the server closing would be wiped/depleted significantly, this isn't something that the script can necessarily identify. Drug decay can be managed dynamically in-game, and we'll be closely monitoring the effects and strength of decay on drugs of all kinds throughout the server. For more information regarding decay and the drug system, click here. Illegal Faction Team: We've decided to reopen Illegal Faction Team applications this week. While we're still very focused on improving the illegal faction scene for our SAMP server. We've also been making alot of progress alongside our Development Team on RAGE/LSRP:V. @Dos Santos as previously mentioned in our last update is very much invested in RAGE and we'd like to appeal to anyone with an interest in supporting LSRP:V to reach out to any member of the Illegal Faction Council with an expression of interest. Interest in RAGE/LSRP:V is not necessary however, if you'd like to work with us on SAMP, please feel free to apply too as we're always looking for dedicated and active members to support our SAMP server. If you'd like to apply for Illegal Faction Team, please click here. Mapping Team Update Our Mapping Team have been hard at work for the last month or so bringing some updates to existing maps at request of factions in different parts of the map, we are currently in a testing phase and expect to see them in game very soon. Our mapping team is more active than ever, if you have anything you feel would bring a well needed update to the map then please don't hesitate to reach out to the Mapping Team Leader @Fiellavin. Below are some examples of the maps coming: Event Team Update March has been a successful month for our Event Team, we've held some large scale events, some of the ones that are memorable are the St Patricks Day Event and the most recent Flexing Loud Festival. We saw massive turn outs for both of these events and the other ones held within the community. These would not be possible without our Events Team, if you're interested in bringing new ideas forward then please reach out to @JustSid if you're interested to join, below are some images from the above events. Staff Update March has been a very good month for the community as a whole, consistently reach high numbers of players on our server. But with an increase number of players we received an even larger increase of work for that the staff team work on and plow through each and every month, before I move on and share promotions within the team I want to share some of the key stats: There were a total of 3418 reports handled There were a total of 3382 help requests handled There were a total of 17 refund requests handled There were a total of 63 forum reports handled There were a total of 305 character applications handled This is just a small insight to what our staff team have to deal with a monthly basis while also indulging in their own roleplay and positions they are in, whether it be faction, companies and more. I want to give them a massive shoutout and thank you. The number of applications coming through is great to see and I want to give a warm welcome to the new players in our community, I hope our team is welcoming and provides the best possible experience for you! Moving on, congratulations to our newly promoted staff members: Senior Admin Lemon Trainee Admin demigod — alooshy

  4. This month we haven't got so much in terms of feature development as we've been quite busy with some more quality of life additions, bug fixes, and most importantly tackling this persistent server crash! We have actually identified the cause now and have already made significant progress in patching it thanks to the dedicated @Noble so we should soon see his hard work come to fruition. This month we held a small, limited time, localised environmental event that we think contributed more to the roleplay scene of the server than previous month's Wonderland event. If you didn't spot it, it was the highway that collapsed in Pershing Square - let us know your feedback and if you think more environmental events like this should go ahead, rather than the big server-wide events like Wonderland! We are constantly evolving the server and always looking for ways to introduce new roleplay to in-game communities and groups. If you have any suggestions that could better the roleplay environment - or any issues that are affecting your roleplay environment - please reach out to the relevant staff member or send it to me directly and I'll forward it on! We're committed to keeping LS-RP the best place to roleplay and create storylines for other characters to be a part of, and we can't do that without your help! We said goodbye (he's not dead, don't worry...) to our Head of Operations this month, @Dos Santos, who has been a part of LS-RP for what feels like (and honestly probably is) a decade. Dos Santos has been a huge help and truly suited the Management position that he was promoted into, which started out as Project Manager and evolved into the Head of Operations when Ben stepped down. Dos Santos has done a smashing job with the re-opening of SA-MP and has kept on top of RageMP teams as well, something that has never had to be done before in the history of LS-RP, so we acknowledge what a hard task it has been. In light of this, we're recognising jack's hard work in particular and he will be promoted to Senior Lead Administrator alongside being given the role of Assistant Head of Staff to basically help me out as I take on other more involved roles in the server as well, with Dos Santos' departure. jack will remain the Head of Admins in addition to this new role, so please continue to communicate with jack re: the admin team! We'd like to showcase some of the images posted in #media as well to highlight the kinds of roleplay that make our servers totally unique and enjoyable for any type of player: And without further ado, congratulations to our newly promoted staff members ... 5. Hello everyone, Welcome to the December Community Update. We're entering the last month of a year that has overall been a very good one for LS-RP. The return of SA-MP gave our community a much needed breath of fresh air, and it allowed us some time to step back and reflect on what we really want to do next. It's not quite the time to look back yet so I'll save all of that for the End Of Year update, but this year we decided to make it easier than ever to look back — we'll be doing a "Your year on LS-RP" (think Spotify Wrapped, etc) so that's something to look forward to. Keeping up with the End Of Year theme and the spirit of holidays, I want to encourage everyone to start decorating their houses with outside furniture for the season. If you're unable to do this for whatever reason worry not, we'll be allowing for holiday decoration submissions soon, available for personal properties, businesses, factions and companies. Keep your eyes peeled! LS-RP Christmas Giveaway '24 And finally, to celebrate this years' holidays and give back to the community, we're holding a prize giveaway for all of our players. The prize pool consists of Gift Cards in total value of 800 EUR! On December 25th, we'll be giving out: Prize #1: 5 Gift Cards of 50 EUR each Prize #2: 10 Gift Cards of 25 EUR each Prize #3: 15 LS-RP Premium Credit packages of 2500 Credits each Upon winning, you can choose any widely available Gift Card of your liking (Steam, Amazon, etc). As long as we can purchase it directly, you can have it! To read more about the giveaway, how to enter, and its rules, please visit: LS-RP Christmas Giveaway 2024 - Los Santos Roleplay. Faction Updates Faction Team Public We've recently revamped FTP to improve its functionality for the greater FT. The FTP is a great avenue to get in touch with the FT and voice your opinions, whether you're a seasoned veteran or a player just getting the ropes of things. It is a team designed for people to voice their concerns and partake in discussions without the stringent experience requirements of FT. If you're interested in joining the faction team and seriously impact the server's infrastructure, FTP is a great way to prove yourself. We're actively on the lookout of members that possess a sound acumen when it comes to the illegal mechanism, and FTP is somewhere you can demonstrate it in the best possible way. Please reach out to @Scumpy for all queries related to FTP. Barons Motorcycle Club I'd like to announce and congratulate Barons Motorcycle Club on reaching official status! Barons Motorcycle Club is an outlaw organized motorcycle club primarily based within Flint County, San Andreas. The establishment of the club was primarily based on a late succession from the defunct White Knights Motorcycle Club, which involved core past members of said club alongside newer faces to reunite under a new banner yet following their same outlaw ideology. Over an extensive period after first settling on the Flint-Whetstone highway, Barons had rapidly expanded its presence within the Flint County and Whetstone regions whilst primarily associating with other organizations and motorcycle clubs alike within the Los Santos city limits. - Spectre, Faction Team Council Faction Team Council I'd also like to congratulate @Klag for advancing into the Faction Team Council! He's now joining Spectre and badhbh in the council to help facilitate a fair and supportive ecosystem for the illegal factions on the server. I have personally taken an interest in illegal factions recently and will be working with the council closely to address some of the concerns that have been raised by the faction team, and illegal faction players recently. As always, communication is key, so if you've anything to bring up to the council or me directly, please create a ticket in the Factions Discord, and if necessary, escalate to me directly. As an example, we'll be trying to provide a more robust pipeline for factions to add custom maps into the server; even if they can't procure the maps themselves. We're adding 4 new mappers today to help us with that! Staff Updates & More Now, onto the Staff Update. Congratulations to our newly promoted staff members ... Senior Admin jungsaeo Trainee Admin n0de101 Senior Tester consistency And congratulations to the new mappers! Mapper peculata - Ricta - ganchew - Leg4nd114 As you may remember, a few updates ago we introduced a new role to the staff team; the Head of Player Experience. This role is supposed to bridge the gap between the player base and the staff teams, mainly the development team. This will help us understand the needs of the community better and translate that into a list of priorities for the teams to work on. Having an individual responsible for this is crucial so that nothing falls through the cracks. The position solidified and integrated more recently, and given its importance and wide reach across the staff team, we made this a lead position. There are two HOPE positions, one for SA-MP and one for our RageMP server (more on that later). So congratulations to our two new leads: Lead Admin ROZE Head of Player Experience (SA-MP) Lead Admin Helius Head of Player Experience (RageMP) I honestly can't find more fitting candidates for both of those roles, so I'm really excited about this setup. Also shoutout to risen, who was promoted to a Lead Admin just days after last month's announcement: Lead Admin risen Head of Testers Now you might be asking - RageMP? Is this still a thing? Yes. We've (when I say we, mostly a taskforce consisting of Helius, danut, and Conor) gone and looked back at our stint with RageMP last year and tried to learn from our mistakes why the server didn't work out as we might've hoped it would. We've learned a lot from the community and staff feedback, and are working on a plan to bring the server back to thrive. This takes some time as it involves quite a lot of further development, economy overhaul, factions overhaul, marketing and more. We aren't quite ready to share more details just yet, but we've several developers whose main interest is the RageMP platform and when I say they're cooking, they're cooking. Big ups for the group for not giving up on the project and bringing my morale back into it. Anyway more on that later, as I said, lots of work to do still and I don't want to get everyone excited too early. Considering danut's endless efforts with the project and continuous work on the gamemode ever since joining the team, I'm excited to announce he'll be taking a role of a Lead Developer on RageMP! I've no doubt that with his and Helius' effort as the HOPE for the project, we'll be able to see it really succeed. Lead Developer danut Lead Developer (RageMP) In the SA-MP department, we're working on the next juicy update to bring you. Make sure to cast your vote at the Feature Voting on the UCP as we use it to influence priorities. There's a lot of big things on the list, so they take time to implement, but every vote matters. Currently the two big things we're working on is the Thief/House Burglary revamp (see #snippets on Discord!) and Premium/Custom Skins feature to let players add their own skin to the game. Note from ROZE re. marketing: We have noticed that new players are being retained on the server pretty well now, we've had a lot of new people join and stick around, often logging hundreds of hours. As we're now in a comfortable position to retain new players we will be taking a more in-depth look at marketing. We recently spoke to several new players to gain feedback about how they found LS-RP, and we have also reached out to some content creators in order to get feedback on how we can better work with them to create a system where we can get a constant stream of publicity and 2-way support. On top of this, we are also looking at the possibilities of being put back onto the server browser. That's it from me for today! I hope you all are able to enjoy the holiday season (or suffer through it, at least, shoutout to fellow season depressos iykyk). We've a few things prepared to make the season on LS-RP festive, so join us and let's enjoy the game together. - Martin

  7. Hello everyone, Welcome to September's staff update. I'd like to reflect back on August, which has been a very good and productive month for the community. Three new factions became official and we've had 5 game updates released, which I consider a great success considering we're juggling summer holidays. This trend of active development that we've been able to set for the past few months is on a good track to continue, as today we're welcoming five new developers to the team! Our focus has recently shifted to include more illegal/faction oriented features and changes, which many of you seem to appreciate. We've received a lot of positive feedback and suggestions which we're thankful for. To improve on this further, we're currently working on a more efficient way to structure our dev team to improve transparency and attention to all aspects of the even more as it is now. Quite a lot of you have also been asking about what's going on with our RageMP and what the future plans for it are — I assure you this topic has not been pushed to the side and it's been a target of a lot of my contemplation and brainstorming over the past few weeks. I should have more concrete information about the future of the RageMP server soon. Now to the topic of staff changes, I'm excited to announce one new and one returning member of the leadership team. @badhbh has been involved in leading and co-leading multiple teams on LS-RP for quite a while now, be it FTC, IGSM, the Tester Team and more. She has a lot of experience in illegal roleplay and has been a driving force behind several recent aforementioned updates that the community loved. I'm certain her advancement to the Leadership team as the Asst. Head of Operations will move the server forward in the right direction. @Dos Santos , who requires no further introduction as he's been in the management for about a year up until two months ago is also returning as Lead Admin. With this, I'm very happy about the balance in the team. It's been a goal of mine to eliminate the blind spots we have, and I feel with these two (re)-joining as leads, no area of the server or type of roleplay is without proper representation. So, without further ado; Congratulations to our newly promoted staff members ... 8. Hello, Tonight we're releasing SA-MP Game Update 13.3.12. We've added a bunch of items (a lot of them from the new Trap House furniture pack, too) that you can hold on to for dear roleplay. Try it ingame via /hold. We've also /transferdrug, so you can now mix drugs of different strengths with proper results. This also enables /cutdrug again. The full changelog is: - Added /hold (/hold L, /hold R, /hold L/R index, etc) - Added construction where GFU used to be (just south of Idlewood PNS). - Added minor stadium outside mapping for events - Fixed invisible object colliding near Mulholland intersection - Fixed spawning with armor when shouldn't in some cases - Internal fixes & optimizations Another worthwhile point to mention is we've also migrated our codebase to open.mp. And when I say we, mostly Noble. We've a test server running open.mp up now and we'll be testing its stability and new features that open.mp provide to server owners and players alike. We're expecting to do a trial run with switching to open.mp in production in the coming weeks. I'll explain why this is exciting in due time, but switching to a client/server with active development is exciting by itself! Happy gaming! - Martin

  9. Hello everyone, after weeks of hard work, I'm happy to say that today we're bringing you the 14.0 SA-MP Game Update. This update includes several new environmental maps, burglary system (stealing and selling furniture), enterable vehicle interiors, graffiti updates, peepholes, furniture objects, and many other features, changes and fixes. I'd like to give a big shoutout to danut & Kane who worked hard on completing this update, and Cake for starting the work on several of the features included. Same shoutout goes to the modding & mapping team for delivering on the new skins, objects, and maps. The 14.0 update is quite a big one, so it took a while to complete and fully test. 10. Hiya folks, this one is more of a quick Quality of Life update while we're hard at work on other features that we think you'll love, so don't expect anything big this time around! Notably however the taxi system was revamped to allow more "part time Uber"-style taxis, meaning people can go on taxi duty in their personal cars, even if they already have a job and a side job, and pick up calls for cash whenever they have a spare 10 minutes. - Adds new modernised taxi system - Changed taxi job to taxi license that persists through /leavejob - /taxi can be used in personal cars - Taxi license can be held even with a job and a sidejob - Taxi notifications now beep and show street location of the caller - Taxi fare is now between 250-650 per mile - Adds new accessible houses to East Beach - Adds new check to stop players from dying in car crashes - Adds ability to /prison and /remand in DCR buildings - Adds check for player being brutally wounded before allowing them to get up - Adds adjusting sentences and remand arrest reports - Fixes beeps for tester alerts going to nearby players - Fixes radio messages not showing in car - Fixes /meg not showing in businesses/apartments - Fixes radio message showing empty lines - Fixes /inmates showing parolees - Fixes invalid condition causing company system to catastrophically break

  11. We're back with yet another SA-MP update and this time we've got lots to unpack. Most notably, we've added 1500 new furniture objects and 3000 new textures to apply to your furniture objects so you can really create the interiors of your wildest dreams, thanks to @Caledonite! Also big thanks to @Kremz who, as part of the Mapping Team, has given us some custom models to add into the server and create roleplay around - the new and moved Vinewood gas station really fits the area. We have also heard your cries to the heavens about trucking and what we identified was that amongst the main issues (there are apparently still one or two bugs left to fix...) trucking industries just didn't empty quick enough and were immediately filled again by other people trucking. We've increased demand for the following trucking commodities: Clothes, Furniture, Beverages, Meal (Food), Appliances, Fuel, and Transformer so that you aren't left waiting around doing nothing while you wait for that number to tick down. We've also increased the money you make from the ship so you're not left hanging out to dry when every other industry has filled up. As has been available for literal years now, we offer official factions and companies the privilege of having their skins added to the game, and that's what we've done, adding new skins for the Filthy Bastards M.C. and 3 companies! We have also identified the persistent server crash that we've been experiencing and we've squashed that mega bug (it was huge, I tell you, huge!) so we should see server crashes slow way down again. I have spoken to the IFTC folks (we use gender-neutral language here for no reason in particular) and got their blessing to look for ways to spruce the map up where illegal factions typically don't have much to do, for example in Willowfield - especially Gilmore Avenue. @Draxxler has also pointed out some areas that could benefit from a rehash so I've been looking into projects for the Mapping Team to make the server feel more alive and give more unique opportunities to the factions that occupy these areas. Notably, the police station next to Gilmore Avenue will be removed in the coming days to allow Willowfield factions to grow without literally being stared at through the window of a police building. All this is, of course, amongst a myriad of other features, additions and bug fixes, as seen here: [SA-MP Game Update 13.3.10] - Adds 1500 new furniture objects - Adds 3000 new furniture textures - Adds a trailer park to Flint County gas station - Increased demand for the following trucking commodities: Clothes, Furniture, Beverages, Meal (Food), Appliances, Fuel, Transformer - Increase the change per hour on the trucking production storages - Increase the buying cost on the trucking ship storages - Adds FBMC skins - Adds company skins - Adds new Vinewood gas station mapping - Adds /relog block when damaged within 5 minutes - Adds a freeze timer on /exit in case of custom mapping - Adds a patch for a game bug allowing shooting from further away than the game allows - Adds the ability for legal factions to change callsign without restriction - Adds Caligulas apartments + complex - Changes an incorrect URL on a billboard in Pershing Sq - Changes /transfer to be allowed with savings active - Changes /frisk to show up to $5000 instead of $500 - Removes 2 police stations (Fern Ridge and Idlewood) and replaces with 2 (Vinewood and Commerce) - Removes /newspaper - Removes a tree and a car blocking factions' env maps - Removes DOJ building gate

  13. - Adds new prison/parole system - Adds automatic hiding of weapons when trunk is closed & windows are up - Adds new radio range system - Adds police/fire dispatchers - Adds more meta info to /stats - Adds free entry for biz employees - Adds ability for LSFD to despawn bodies - Adds new faction and company skins - Adds new company mapping - Fixes premium phone contacts not loading - Fixes to trucking system First off, exciting news, we're expanding our dev team very soon - keep an eye out for the staff update tomorrow! Our primary focus right now in the development team is the inclusion of features that primarily benefit illegal factions and their affiliates. Something you may have heard chatter about is new maps, one of which you can see being built in real-time ingame already at the old Gang Field Unit building near Idlewood Pizza Stack! The new prison system is lifted pretty much straight from the GTA V server and rewritten & adapted to work on our SA-MP server. Here is a brief synopsis on how it works: All crimes are now for hours, not minutes Prison time will go down whilst the player is offline Players will never be released from prison unless they: are on parole, or type /releaseme Players are eligible for automatic parole after a set amount of time based on their charges Prison times & parole times are visible on https://law.lsgov.us Players will be sentenced for the entirety of the X hours they are prisoned for, e.g. if you commit murder you are sentenced for 120 hours with parole after 240 minutes After the parole eligibility period (240 minutes in the example above) a prisoner can use /paroleme automatically to be released For the rest of the 120 hours (5 days; counts down offline) the parolee can be monitored by DCR parole agent - don't turn off your phone... If a player is killed whilst on parole they respawn at their normal spawn point, if a player is killed by on duty police they will go back to jail with no more automatic parole You can apply for parole again in this case by going to https://corrections.lsgov.us Being killed by on duty police then being revived by the LSFD will not automatically send you back to prison, so make sure you stick around for the ambulance! The system is designed so that players spend less time in prison if they don't want to be in prison while still having real repercussions if they parole and go back to committing crime immediately We hope that this change brings more life to illegal factions both in and out of prison by introducing a new dynamic that has never been really successfully done before in the parole system. Another way we're helping out our illegal roleplayers is by making it so weapons are completely invisible if they're /place'd in a car with the windows up and the trunk closed. This doesn't mean people with SilentPatch can still see them, it means they are gone - effectively deleted - while the car meets these conditions. This benefits illegal roleplayers in two ways: Other players cannot see your /place'd guns when you're driving, even with weapon finder cheats Other players cannot see your /place'd guns when you're parked, even with weapon finder cheats Now the only way another player will possibly see your weapon is if the window or trunk is open. Carrying a weapon on your chest does not count - it must be /place'd to be automatically hidden. Note that you can still /takegun while the gun is in its invisible state! The radio range system brings some more realism to the radios and walkie talkies that you can buy. All radio frequencies operate on a default range of 500m, which means when you speak in /r, only players within 500m will be able to hear you clearly. There are certain exceptions to this: Government base radios (dispatch) have 6000m range Police tactical radios (pursuits) have 6000m range Police simplex radios (local situations) have 150m range The CB radio (channel 30) has 6000m range The ATC radio (channel 20) has 6000m range There are new restrictions on the CB and ATC radios in that you cannot use the ATC radio anymore unless you are in/near an ATC-capable vehicle, such as a helicopter or government vehicle. Similarly the CB radio is the same, except for trucks and company vehicles. This is to prevent people using ATC/CB to communicate to get around the range restrictions. And with the radio changes comes a police/fire dispatch system in which faction members can take on the alternate persona of a dispatcher - not very exciting to the wider community but provides many avenues of roleplay for these factions. And finally we've added some QOL tweaks like seeing your house number and position in /stats, and making it free to business employees to enter their place of work (no more spending $5000 just to do your shift)

  14. Hi guys, We're excited to announce the recent addition of three new official factions to our SA-MP roleplay server! These factions have showcased an outstanding quality of roleplay, dedication, and have been focused on creating dynamic and exciting scenarios in-game. For the last two months, several factions have been part of our Official Faction Candidacy scheme, where the factions in question have been closely monitored and mentored by members of the Illegal Faction Team in order to improve and grow as a faction. Unfortunately, the competition was extremely tough and the Illegal Faction Council had to make some difficult decisions in order to select the few successful candidates out of a group of high quality contenders. In the end, only three out of five were selected to progress to official status! Congratulations to E/S Mob Piru Gang, The Galleani Crime Family and Blanco—Longoria DTO. As for upcoming illegal roleplay updates, please keep your eyes peeled as we're hoping to address some issues with the drug circulation in-game. The addition of these three official factions will of course be of help, however with the recent addition of /cutdrug, we are looking to tweak things to meet the server's demands. I'm also very excited for us to release some new mapping additions to the server intended to target illegal roleplay, and provide new and interesting areas for factions to roleplay. Keep an eye around the city for construction work! As always, if you'd like to have your say on all things illegal roleplay, please reach out to @Kev regarding joining the Illegal Faction Team Public group to take part in suggestions, integral discussions around updates, rule changes and much more! -badhbh Illegal Faction Council

  15. Hi We're officially half way into the year of 2025. Time has flown incredibly quick, but the saying is true; time flies when you're having fun. We've got quite a big update this month, with introduction of new testers, team updates and our Rage Insider team being announced. All this and we've still got the winners of our giveaway from last month, you can find details out below; Anniversary Giveaway As we announced on LS-RP's 18th birthday, this month we're giving away free Premium Membership to eighteen of our players. Congratulations to the following winners: Eriga — thegoodroleplayer — Orvarr — Burnley — Laylowcki — EZY — dougzb — Johnny_Parisi _bUd_ — Cellophane — Lexie — plasutaOGromania — Sean_Christopher — Jessie_Joji — RocaDarius blancone — skrappy74 — luo You will receive your premium membership within 24 hours of this announcement. If you already have premium membership active, it'll be extended by one month. You'll receive an email once the membership has been activated or extended. Congratulations again, and thank you for playing! Illegal Faction Team The Illegal Faction Team have once again been hard at work alongside our development team to introduce new changes to the script in order to benefit illegal roleplay. We've recently introduced a whole host of drug effects such as; more and less melee damage both given and taken by the player depending on the drug of choice, taser resistance, tackle resistance and beanbag resistance. We hope that this is just one of many upcoming tweaks and changes to the script to provide people with further roleplay and to increase the demand and flow of drugs on the server. We haven't released any information as to the exact effects added in the hopes of the playerbase themselves experimenting and finding their ideal concoction! In the month of June, we're placing a big focus on reviving the Illegal Faction Team Public, and would like to make it far more accessible than it has been since relaunch. Keep an eye out for upcoming announcements for more information on how you can get involved. We're also launching a new initiative/scheme to promote passive roleplay for illegal factions who have hold turf on the Turf Map and meet our expectations in terms of quality and community standing. We're now offering business leases to factions to hold for the duration of their faction's activity. Your application's success will be based off a number of factors including whether or not your faction requires a leased business from IFT to promote roleplay, whether the business type is realistic for your faction, etc. This is not a guarantee for all factions on the turf map, but is intended as a reward for those that deserve it. We'd also like to add that we've opened the LOI's for the Illegal Faction Team. If you'd like to join IFT, please feel free to review the following and forward your LOI to @Aloosh, @unlawfulactand @badhbh. Marketing Team We have been surveying some of our newest players to try and find out how they came to know LS-RP, and why they joined. Almost every response was the same - YouTube! Based on this feedback, we’ve decided it’s time for LS-RP to adopt a more modern marketing approach, similar to those used in other gaming communities. By supporting our creators and offering perks that recognise their hard work and creativity, we aim to strengthen our online presence through engaging content - ultimately attracting more players to the server. The perks provided will include things like FREE LS-RP premium, test server access, content creator highlight inclusions, and more. As well as video bounties that creators can complete which awards credits, whilst providing us with the type of content that we're hoping to see. On top of all of this, we will have a levelling system for content creators, allowing creators to make their way up the ranks, unlocking new perks, and eventually becoming an official LS-RP partner. There is a lot to go through here, and we're excited to tell you more. Stay tuned for a separate announcement on this in the next few days. 16. Hello, With today's game update we're adding the ability to cut your drugs with dilutants and a set of furniture items to enhance your trap house interiors. We've also done tweaks to the algorithm for businesses accepting trucking cargo & fixing crashes related to that. We're also actively working with the community to revamp trucking route rewards to be more balanced. [Game Update 13.3.11] - Added ingredients - /myingr, /buyingr, /giveingr, /dropingr - Added drug cutting - /cutdrug - Added new furniture category Miscellaneous > Trap House - Fixed /hq and /togfam not showing properly - Edited the /givepropkey warning to include information re. furniture access - Fixed businesses buying cargo within TPDA, the calculation now takes into account the amount of storage space and how much they can afford Cutting Drugs You can use an ingredient to cut some drugs, which will increase their amount but decrease their strength. This will then have effect on some of the effects the drugs have. Only some drugs can be cut, and they can't all be cut with the same dilutants. I won't give you a full breakdown with the numbers as to let you experiment and figure the system out with trial & error. We're looking to expand this ingredient system with more features in the future. Trap House Furniture Just a few screenshots to give you inspiration for your living room remodeling: Also quick update from the mapping team, we're working on redoing the area of the old PD GFU to replace the building with a new area suitable for faction roleplay. Happy gaming!

  17. Hi All, hope everyone is well. Welcome to our March Staff Update, we've a lot to cover this month as we've a lot of updates from some of our core teams, you can read about those below. Illegal Faction Team Update The Illegal Faction Team has been diligently working behind the scenes on a number of updates and improvements to enhance our activities. We are excited to welcome @Dos Santos to the Illegal Faction Council. Dos Santos will focus on identifying and addressing the challenges we faced during the initial launch of V, as we prepare for the relaunch of our V server. Additionally, we have also recently opened the Letter of Intent (LOI) process for the Illegal Faction Team and have onboarded new members to support the illegal roleplay scene. Following a discussion between Illegal Faction Council and management, we've agreed on a candidate. We'd like to announce, @unlawfulact as the newest addition to the Illegal Faction Council. With this expanded team, we are actively reopening several schemes. The Scenario Scheme is now managed by @Rye, and the Melee Scheme is overseen by @alooshy. We will soon announce the new heads of the Drug Scheme and Strawman Scheme, which we aim to have reworked and reopened in early March. Furthermore, we have implemented certain measures to ensure that factions of subpar quality are identified and supported in their efforts to meet our high standards. We received significant feedback regarding factions that do not meet LSRP's standards. To address this, we have revised our Turf Requests process. Instead of solely evaluating faction activity, we now consider the faction's overall reputation and the quality of their screenshots and roleplay. Factions that do not meet our standards will be moved to 'Unofficial Factions' until they demonstrate improvements in the required areas. We would also like to remind factions of the support available to them. Any faction with turf on the map can receive assistance from IFT/IFC with properties. We have several complexes available across the map, and if there are none in your specific turf, we are happy to explore creating one or finding alternatives to provide your faction with housing. We are committed to helping your faction in any way necessary. If you have an idea that does not fit within the current schemes, please reach out to us, and we will be happy to collaborate with you and your faction. Mapping Team Update A few words from our Mapping Team Leader @Fiellavin; We've been actively adding maps to enhance engagement across various areas, including companies and illegal factions. Now, we're looking to collaborate with different parts of the server to meet their specific needs. This doesn’t mean we’re stepping away from any group—we’re simply broadening our efforts to ensure all areas receive the attention they need. We welcome any roleplay-oriented map requests, and I’m always open to discussions with those looking to contribute to the community’s growth. Commerce and Estate Team Update A few words from the Commerce and Estate Council: Over the past few weeks we have reached out for and looked into player to gather feedback on property auctions and where they would like to see new properties being auctioned. Based on the community input, we are excited to announce a new bi-monthly schedule for auctions to better satisfy the players' needs for properties. Moreso, we have started auctioning unowned complexes around the server to better help address the ongoing property shortage caused by blocking apartments purchases without complex owner consent. Make sure to keep an eye on the Auctions boards as we plan on introducing more complex auctions in the near future. Event Team Update A few words from our Event Team Leader @JustSid: I’m honoured to step up as the new Events Team Leader and continue the work of making LS-RP an exciting, immersive, and unforgettable roleplay experience. First off, a huge thanks to @danielswe for all the effort and dedication put into this role before me. Moving forward, Our focus will be on expanding event opportunities, bringing more large-scale, story-driven events, and ensuring that both legal and illegal roleplayers have more dynamic, engaging interactions. I want to make sure the Events Team is working closely with factions, businesses, and community leaders to craft unique moments. If you have ideas, feedback, or just want to be involved in upcoming events, my DMs are always open. Let’s push LS-RP’s roleplay experience to new heights together. See you all in-game. Big things are coming. 18. Hello and welcome to our November update! As I'm sure you've seen, there's been frequent development updates, but what about the community? We're full steam ahead for bringing more and more players to LS-RP, meaning on both our SA-MP server and our GTA V server. I've seen some ideas floating around this month that SA-MP was never a priority, and this is simply not true. We have people within the LS-RP staff team and indeed the wider community that are committed to only SA-MP, some that are committed to only GTA V, and some that are committed to both to varying degrees. One thing I do want to say by the way is thank you to everybody that applied to be part of the staff team - we got a whopping 58 Tester applications and sadly we couldn't accept everyone - if you didn't get in, I encourage you to try again in a couple of months' time when it re-opens as there were a lot of people that might have been accepted if not for the sheer amount of people that applied! SA-MP We are constantly working to update the SA-MP gamemode with features that we think will make players' time on our server better and more fun, and less of a grind - while modernising the script. Such plans include a revamped weapon system - which you can see a sneak peek of in #snippets - as well as drug addiction, changes and additional effects of drugs, and ingredients with their associated effects. I can't go into a whole lot of detail as we're still working out the final feature set to present to the community, but know that there are some script features with drugs that are pretty well already finished - this isn't yet another "maybe in the future", but an affirmation that some features that would be part of a drug rework are already completed. We're also testing and well on the way to developing SA-MP version 13.4.0, which will include old classics like Lenny Train, and vehicle furnishing! And I don't mean neon tubes or a taxi sign, I mean you can turn your car into a mobile pile of rubbish with /furniture. If you haven't seen it already, we've changed the taxi system so that you can roleplay what a taxi driver has become in 2024 - on-demand. You don't need to drive around in a taxi with a yellow name, waiting for someone to call 544 anymore. Just go on /taxi duty and you'll start getting calls, then pick people up from your own car, in your own time, for a much higher price than before ($25 maximum fare? No thank you!). RageMP As SA-MP is being constantly updated, so is RageMP. @Helius and @danut have taken the lead on RageMP development - both in a literal development sense, and in a community development sense. I'm not at liberty to share Helius's plans but I am confident in his ability and his passion to reignite our GTA V roleplaying scene after seeing what he's got in store. Danut has also been smashing it with development work for RageMP, and now that our new developers have settled in, more developers will be taking on roles with RageMP and the website themselves at their own leisure. I urge you to understand, however, that this does not mean priority is taken from SA-MP, or that somehow RageMP is a side project - both projects are being focused on equally by different teams of people; our attention is not split! Marketing There has been some chatter about marketing recently in the community as well, and why haven't we sent emails out to our old players? Well, we have in a way, but not for marketing - some of you may even still have the e-mail telling you that our terms of service have updated due to the relaunch of SA-MP. As for further emails, simply put the European Union (where LS-RP is based) has a law that you may have heard of called GDPR. This essentially means we cannot use your email address for marketing purposes without your express consent, and is exactly why we can't reach out to old players with promotional e-mails - they haven't given marketing consent. We are working with what we do have available to us, however, so fear not! Anyway, onto the Staff Update. Congratulations to our newly promoted staff members ... Game Admin Maxolino - Proxy - unlawfulact Senior Tester barney - Justkid - n0de101 RadioKilla - sousside Tester Alooshy - andr3y - Armed & Dangerous - Avine96 BigTank - Can't Stop Mobbin - Commander c o s t i n - Curtis - Dag - DaMightyZee Demigod - destroy - Fiellavin - HolyAqua - HoodPope Justitiae - Klag - Kunis - Misanthrope - _MitevGK_ NicaHistla - playbizzle - Polle - Slimi True To Money - TyDolla - wyp - XSystem And welcome back to our recently returned staff members ... 22. Hi all, Just want to say a massive thank you to the community and the staff members who are actively working in the background to make Los Santos Roleplay a great server to play. There has been a lot of teams working in the background to provide Los Santos Roleplay with the best roleplay possible and listening to our community with any changes that are needed. Let's not beat around the bush here. There is an obvious elephant in this room. What happened at Wonderland 2024? Also (sadly) known as the "Alien Event" We rushed it, plainly put. The event was originally scheduled for later in the month, with a much better marketing strategy, but due to other constraints - namely that we haven't had a big event since the SA-MP relaunch - it was pushed forward and what would have been a couple of months turned into a couple of weeks. This is no fault of the event organisers, @ROZE and @Xanakin, but is a consequence of Management deciding last minute that we need a big event ASAP to offset the fact we haven't had one yet without putting much thought into how the months of preparation could be condensed into two weeks in a way that doesn't over-saturate players. We've heard your feedback and we realise now that we truly did over-saturate you guys with the event. The general consensus within the staff team around the festival is that if you roleplay in an area in East LS that can see the festival, why not simply roleplay around it? People in and around Ganton can see the festival clear as day, so why not use this opportunity to do something different? Intercept the new civilian traffic in Playa de Seville, move your roleplay indoors to hide your shady dealings from the increased foot traffic, go to the festival and push pills, maybe even write a letter to the Mayor complaining about the noise? Unfortunately we failed to see that not everybody wants to roleplay the festival existing, and for people in the Killeen Mob turf in Playa de Seville, it was really hard to ignore. I only really realised this myself when I stood at Ganton 24/7 and I could see the giant UFO and red spotlights beaming out from behind it. I see why it's distracting when you want to ignore it. That's why we've reduced the render distance so you need to be on East Beach to see it, and we moved it up by Atlantic Avenue, so you cannot see it from Playa de Seville. The marketing was rushed. Again this is no fault of the organisers but a consequence of Management demanding that they pack months' worth of news articles, interviews, social media posts and announcements into two weeks. This means that, unfortunately, we did things like create UFO objects in the county which - originally - were intended to be very clearly movie props, with 3D text labels, construction equipment, etc., most of that was left out and people's imagination went wild with the fact a UFO has just appeared. We even saw the LSSD send out a bomb squad to make sure it was safe, which shouldn't have happened in any real, obvious-movie-prop scenario. What this rushed marketing caused is a cascade of people roleplaying actual aliens. We tried our best from the start to tell people they were just movie props and smoke machines, not an actual UFO crash, but it seemed to be too little, too late. We should have advertised Wonderland first, and then slowly introduced the theme, before any movie props were spawned. This turned into rumours, SAN ran away with an actual alien invasion conspiracy, and people started roleplaying things that are not acceptable on our server. We should have made it clear from the start it was a festival and not allow anybody to run away with the idea of an alien invasion being roleplayed. After all, LS-RP was built on its realistic portrayal of gang life, and dare I say that is the reason LS-RP exists. Police factions exist, pretty much, to mirror gangs. After all, legal civilian roleplayers rarely interact with police, so why would we need a police faction without the illegal roleplayers? And now the controversial UFO text. We repeatedly said, especially to illegal and gang roleplayers, "don't want to go to Wonderland? Just ignore it". You can't ignore it when we put text up in the middle of your screen saying "have you seen the UFO?". That was a clear and obvious mistake, and while it was only ~3 seconds that it was on the screen, it immediately pulled everyone out of their roleplay and, understandably, upset a lot of people. You can't ignore it when you stand at Ganton 24/7 and look east, and half your screen is filled with a giant UFO and red beams of light. We told you to ignore it, and made it impossible to do so for half the map. I think something we did do right is scrap the implementation of the alien skin. Although only 1 person was going to use it, there was a lot of upset that the skin doesn't look like a costume and that it might encourage people to roleplay seeing an actual alien, so we scrapped it. The Faction Team has done a great job of forwarding complaints around Wonderland 2024 from the illegal roleplayers of the server. Please keep directing your feedback to them and they will continue gathering it and directing it to us. After all, the Illegal Faction Team are part of the same staff team that I am part of, that the Head of Legal Factions is part of, that the Events Team is part of - we are one team and they do a good job of keeping illegal roleplayers' concerns heard. We can't improve for next time if you don't tell us how to improve, we (sadly) are not all-knowing, although sometimes it seems we act like we are, and that's something we're working on. But as much negativity as we got, we had over 100 people at Wonderland on Saturday enjoying the event, giving positive feedback, and generally just having fun! Wonderland is a place where people can be a little sillier, with their costumes, dance animations, and music. We try our best to keep this contained to Wonderland, however, so people outside of Wonderland aren't exposed to the silliness! Check out this video by Big Tank, one of our long-standing illegal roleplayers! Anyway. You want to ignore Wonderland 2024, I'm not going to bore you anymore with it. The event is still running for the rest of the weekend, albeit further north up East Beach and not directly outside Playa de Seville. Now onto the rest of the community update. Surveys @Dos Santos will be releasing a community survey tomorrow. You will be able to find this at Surveys - Los Santos Roleplay (ls-rp.com) so make sure you keep an eye out! An announcement will be posted tomorrow when the survey is created. Development Team The development team, especially @danut and @stringer, have still been working hard on our RageMP server and have put together this update for you to enjoy! It takes elements from our SA-MP server and improves on them massively, while introducing new cars, vehicle mods, and other goodies. [RAGE Multiplayer Game Update 2.2] - Added ped-based corpses system - Added morgue functionality to MDC - Added initial corpse forensics (identification and wounds) - Added 6 new vehicles and their variations (Freeway, Roxanne, Slave, Remus2, Riata, Sandstorm) - Added company chat color menu to /company UI - /blockpm and /blockallpm are now available to all players - Changes Flatbed mission from timer to skill-check minigame - Changes /low chat color to be darker Commerce and Estate Team - @Superb Business Auctions: 7 businesses were auctioned this month on forums, and more businesses are planned to be pushed in steady intervals. If you're interested in grabbing one, keep an eye on the following link: https://community.ls-rp.com/forums/forum/946-business-auctions/ In-game Auctions: We have been setting more and more properties into auctions IG to make sure the players having consistent supply of properties. Business Leasing Success: Business leases are open once again this month, feel free to send in your application if you would like. Exclusive & Exotic Vehicles: We have pushed another 3 different exotic vehicles (Hotknife, BF Injection, & Sparrow) for the players to bid on, for more information: https://community.ls-rp.com/forums/forum/948-vehicle-auctions/ Illegal Faction Team Council - @badhbh @Spectre @Kev This month, we're happy to have taken on a number of unofficial factions into Official Faction Candidacy. These factions have been assigned faction handlers who are experienced in the factions area of roleplay, and will work with the leadership of these factions to heighten their quality of roleplay and assist them through the candidacy process in order to be accepted as Official Factions in the near future. The Illegal Faction Team have been working hard to identify areas in need of improvement on the server. With the reintroduction of Faction Complexes, Faction Businesses and the Scenario Scheme which was highly requested, we hope to provide factions with new and unique roleplay opportunities to keep things fresh for the community as a whole. For more information on these schemes, and how you can apply, please visit: Information, Guidelines & Updates - Los Santos Roleplay (ls-rp.com) The Illegal Faction Team has recently had an addition of several new and returning IFT members. Shaikh has taken over the role of Head of Turfs and has been working with factions to keep our Turf Map up to date. We'll be having a meeting between Illegal Faction Council and IFT to discuss future development ideas in order to submit them to our Development Team for review within the next week. We'll also be discussing many of the ideas presented by the Illegal Faction Public Team, if you'd like to join and have your opinions heard, please PM @KUnderwood who is currently looking after the Public Team while @Kev is on LOA. Community Engagement Team - @ROZE The Community Engagement Team is currently sorting through a large back log of videos created especially to advertise the best parts of LS-RP and you will soon seen these popping up on our social media! Events Team - @danielswe First off, we are pleased to announce the addition of two new members to our team! In terms of events, this past month has been relatively quiet. The event we held this month was a boxing match, which was enjoyable for all involved. There was also consideration of a music festival, with preliminary talks held before the announcement of the Wonderland event, but it seems we were over-shadowed by Wonderland popping up out of nowhere! Lastly, we are contemplating organizing a Los Santos Grand Prix event on the Rage server, utilizing the available F1 cars. To ensure a successful turnout, we plan to implement an out-of-character (OOC) registration process before finalizing the track mapping. Our goal is to secure participation from 10 to 15 attendees to make the event worthwhile. Staff Team - @Michael Today we're opening staff reinstatements and we're also opening Tester Team applications for those that haven't been part of our team yet, so make sure you get your application sorted as both avenues to (re)enter the team will close at 23:59 on Sunday, 7th of July! 23. Happy spooky season to all my spooky fellows! This staff update isn't going to be big as we're currently testing a game update and I don't want to take away from the big update post that we're going to be doing for the game update! I do have some cool news for this update though to share with you Illegal Faction Team updates I am happy to say that @Flip has been added to the Illegal Faction Team Council! Flip has been with LS-RP for a long long time and it's honestly a big development for IFT and the Council that he has been added to the team. I'm excited to see what Flip can bring to Illegal Faction Team. Further, if you haven't seen it, it was universally understood by the factions of yesteryear that IFT are the best authority to go to for knowledge on factions. Somewhere along the line this changed and so we have updated our server rules to bring IFT back into the loop on all things faction! When requesting permission to attack a faction property (house, complex, business, and more) then you will now need the pre-approval of the Illegal Faction Team Council - reporting ingame will no longer be enough to fulfil such a request. And without further ado, congratulations to our newly promoted staff members ... Game Admin Flip Trainee Admin Maxolino - kaibr - unlawfulact - Proxy And welcome back to our recently returned staff members ... Game Admin Spanion Tester FuLL

  24. Hey All, Hope everyone is well, we don't have a lot to report on this month. So we'll get right into it below: Illegal Faction Team Update Throughout this month, the Illegal Faction Council have been heavily monitoring factions for stockpiling, official and unofficial. There's been a recent update in which IFC and Lead Admins can now easily track weapons as they move through the server which has been of great help in combatting the issue. We'd like to thank the Official Factions involved in this initiative for their co-operation and understanding the importance of their role in combatting stockpiling and unrealistic gun sales. We've also increased the prices involved in the weapon price agreement to allow for further profits to be made by Official Factions and their members. We've also been working alongside the Development Team on further measures to combat stockpiling. We're now excited to announce the next part of this initiative, as a one-time measure, the Faction Team Council will be conducting a stale weapon wipe over the weekend after May 20th, 2025. What does this mean? With the recent addition of Unique Universal Identifiers (UUIDs) for weapons, our Lead Admins and FTC now possess the ability to track individual firearms, including their origin and history. Since the update, any weapon spawned on a player or within a vehicle has been assigned a unique UUID. However, weapons held by players or within vehicles that have not been logged in or spawned since the update currently lack these identifiers. To ensure your weaponry is properly identified and remains available to you, we kindly request that you log in if you are carrying weapons or packages, or spawn any vehicles containing weapons before May 20th 2025. This action will automatically assign the necessary UUIDs to your items. Our Illegal Faction Team have been working hard to provide the server with exciting avenues of roleplay, with the Faction & Solo Drug Scheme having been opened recently under the newly appointed Head of Drugs Scheme @Clack. Please keep an eye on the available schemes as we hope to reopen many of our popular schemes throughout the month of May. We've also taken on a new Official Faction Candidate, 59th and Harlow Bloods, and we'd like to wish them all the best in their journey towards official status. As always, if you'd like to get involved in Illegal Faction Team and discussions, please reach out to @badhbh and @unlawfulact Staff Update We are still looking to for Testers and Insiders, if you're interested please give our latest announcement a read and send in a application if it applies to you or something you're interested in. You can find more information below: Here are some of Aprils Key Metrics: There were a total of 3029 reports handled There were a total of 3173 help requests handled There were a total of 11 refund requests handled There were a total of 48 forum reports handled There were a total of 367 character applications handled The number of applications coming through is great to see and I want to give a warm welcome to the new players in our community, I hope our team is welcoming and provides the best possible experience for you! 25. Here we have a myriad of bug fixes, a few cool new features that I'm sure everyone will love, and a nice new version number to go with it 🙂 Here is the changelog Adds vocal range adjustments based on vehicle window & door state Adds ~700 new furniture textures Adds 15 furniture material slots instead of 5 Adds highlighting of used furniture material slots Adds extra hours (0800-1300) to happy hour timeframe Adds the location of parked vehicles in the /v get menu Adds various map fixes and improvements around Los Santos Adds new mapping to the Flint County Gas Station trailer park Adds new flare/Hispanic month wristbands Adds high-vis vest Adds money number formatting when using banking commands Adds various admin commands Adds subrank information to /factionon, added RTO status if on duty to /factionon Adds mdc notes to players and vehicles Adds detection to ALPR for vehicles with no insurance Adds more faction skins Adds vehicle lookup fines history Adds fines history to vehicle lookups Adds on-duty personnel to pass weapons to each other Fixes /unpackage so that you can no longer lose/duplicate your weapons accidentally Fixes radio message being sent twice Fixes reconnect message being wrong Fixes metro and RTO duty persisting on disconnect Fixes virtual world and interior not resetting when relogging Fixes assorted spelling/grammar errors Fixes issues with taxi /licenseexam. Fixes exploit within the furniture system Fixes bug with text disappearing in /colors menu Fixes /lastame Removes 5 minute timer for /relog for admins on duty Removes construction mapping in Vinewood Vocal range adjustments This means that your window & door state will now affect the volume level when you speak inside a car. Doing /low with all the windows closed for example will not allow anybody outside the car to hear you - it will function the same as /cw. Similarly shouting inside a car with all the windows & doors closed will be heard from a much lower distance, meaning that you can kidnap people and now actually have to think about whether or not you want to leave the window/door open when you leave them locked in your car. This also works the other way, so a person standing outside your car doing /low will not be heard unless you roll your windows down. I don't think we really have much else that needs explaining but as always you can use /helpme if you're stuck on something!

  26. Hello everyone, 2024 is over and it marks yet another year spent together on LS-RP. This was quite a big year for us, as we reopened our SA-MP server and the community underwent several major changes. We officially relaunched our SA-MP server on LS-RP's 17th birthday, May 17th. Let's take a look at some interesting stats from these 7 and half months. In 2024, there were 8,217 new accounts created! Surprisingly, 87% of players who played on SA-MP last year were new accounts that never played on LS-RP before. 55,952 in-game reports and 74,898 helpmes accepted by our wonderful staff team. 2,489 refund requests and over 900 forum reports processed. 43,377 in-game kills (!), with the most dangerous area being to nobody's surprise Idlewood, which saw 15,099 tragic deaths. 514,842 total hours spent ingame by players. Over 40,000 AFK/Idle kicks. It sure was a busy year with its ups and downs, and I want to thank everyone who chose to spend their time playing, or contributing to our community. I value every one of you. Looking forward into 2025, we've laid out several goals internally that will help us achieve two main goals that we're focusing in 2025: Expand our SA-MP community and re-launch our RageMP server. Both are actively worked on as we speak and I can't wait to share more information with you when the time is right. One of our first goals for January 2025 is to finish our big 14.0 update. If you'd like to see snippets from this update, you can check out Discord's #snippets; some of them you've probably already seen but we'll post more as the update nears finishing. To help us with that, I'm happy to welcome two new developers on board: Lead Developer Kane & Developer n0de101 Another goal we set out for ourselves, which we've largely completed is stricter activity enforcement in our staff team. I'm aware that activity and motivation works from top to bottom, so we've tightened our activity/LOA policies to ensure we've stable and active Leadership, Heads Of, Development and Admin team. I'm happy to say that more and more staff members are taking it upon themselves to improve the server and come up with solutions on how we can achieve our goals for 2025, and I'm glad that we've a solid plan going forward. Speaking of which — a message from Jack, our current Head of Staff: You talked, we listened Over the course of the last month or two, we've had many channels for members of the community to openly give feedback in a constructive way, we've been listening and already implemented some of the things spoken about. We're also in the planning and preparation stages for further changes listed within those topics. We had a standardised way of dealing with rulebreakers, typically we went down the education over punishment route, which resulted in a warning, kick, ajail then eventually a ban. Somewhere down the line the communication within the team broken down, resulting in education and warnings for very blatant rule breaking. Over time some players abused this stance and ended up being warned again after again with no real punishment. Due to this happening we have cleared it up within the team, that if players exhibit blatant rule breaking, we don't need to follow the line of education but to take direct action. Since the re-opening of SA-MP we introduced a Conflict of Interest rule, this prevented admins dealing with situations they are directly involved. In theory this change was great, as it meant little to no bias once a handling administrator could accept reports. In time the implementation of this rule ended in report times taking longer and sometimes no action being taken right away, if someone was to log or too much time had passed. Based on feedback from within staff and members of the community this rule was removed and we implore admins to use common sense and the knowledge they gain going through our Trainee Admin scheme. Transparency has been one of the most sought after comment since before I even joined the Staff team back in 2020. Over the past 5 years we've improved on this by ten fold, we continue to do this as the weeks go by. We're taking a new approach to transparency, including talking about staff policies which has never been done. If and when there is information to be shared to the community you can bet on knowing about it, sometimes its better to hold of on being transparent when some underlying details are missing or have not been fully completed. I hope the new approach we are taking is one for the betterment of our Staff and Community relationship. You may of seen we've inducted more modders and mappers within the team who are active and engaging with what the server needs, new maps and new mods. For some time now we've been stagnant in this area and it's affected many areas of the server. But we've now put the channels in place to allow factions, companies and such to have direct access to request maps to be made, implemented and the same with mods, it's never been easier than now. The above is a small insight to what is happening within staff. We've been through the many various posts and now have a solid list and foundation to work off and take inspiration to work towards a better community and experience for players as a whole. Illegal Faction Team Council Update from Klag & badhbh We'd like to start by introducing Serbian Transnational Criminal Organisation (STCO), who've been successful in reaching official faction status. 'Serbian Transnational Criminal Organisation is a Los Santos and San Fierro based criminal organization with its main roots coming from a now defunct criminal organization from Serbia. It's a continuation of many generations of Serbian American organized crime, with their involvements being weapon and drug trafficking, smuggling contraband and international fraud. STCO's reach is currently widespread over the city, with them being involved in both the political scene with the mayor's office as the financial sector with their many businesses primarily focused on providing alcohol and entertainment. Their influences in the streets reach multiple areas within Los Santos, primarily East Los Santos and Mulholland, with some parts in Vinewood and a few areas in San Fierro. Its founding members were part of previous generations of Serbian American organized crime having revived the old tradition reaching back over ten-plus years. From Pančevačka Grupa, to Srpska Mreža, to eventually continuing the legacy of the old Serbian Transnational Criminal Organization.' At the moment, the Illegal Faction Team are currently working on a restructure of one of our most popular schemes, the Strawman Scheme along with conducting a review of the drug-flow on the server. As of late, the Illegal Faction Team has undergone some significant changes not only in terms of leadership, but also the members of Illegal Faction Team itself. We're eager to support the server, and it's factions and would love to hear your feedback and concerns. As always, if you're interested in joining the Illegal Faction Team (Public), please reach out to a member of the Illegal Faction Team or private message, @Scumpy. Commerce and Estate Update by Izumi There is current changes taking place in Commerce and Estate and that is property changes such as Interior changes are not longer required to be posted on the forums and can now be /report'ed in-game where both the Commerce and Estate team and Senior Admin+ team can quickly get your property request done without the need to post on the forums. This should hopefully help people instead of having to wait for someone to check the forums for interior changes. Additionally, backdoor access can be reported in-game and finally, PTPs for both businesses and properties can be requested in-game instead of through the forums. You will still have to charity the amount for the warehouse, backdoor access and PTPs, however, this should hopefully help players without the need of posting on the forums. You can also still post on the forums if you cannot be in-game at the same time as commerce and estate staff. Lastly, with this update, we're rolling out the scheme which was posted in December for companies to be reimbursed a set amount of money for their employees to help cover the staffing cost for the roleplay they provide whilst under the company. You can find more information about it here; Note: Please keep in mind the Employee Reimbursement Scheme is in a trial run and the rates are subject to change based on the market behavior. 27. Hello, For over a year now, we've used path.net as our game server network provider to mitigate DDOS attacks. This has been a largely successful choice, as within that time we've managed to fight off countless attacks (going even as high as 1Tb/s) without anyone noticing. Unfortunately, general stability of the network isn't that great and we're experiencing excess packet loss for the last few weeks, with the last few days being much more noticeable. While this would pass on its own as it has in the past, we chose to explore other competitive offerings that should bring the same level of protection but with more stability. We're switched to GCORE today to do just that. Since we're changing our network provider, the game server IP will change. It's important to: Make sure you have the server stored in favorites as server.ls-rp.com:7777, not via direct IP. You may need to wait for a bit for your DNS records to update. You can try flushing your DNS records manually. To avoid redownloading all the models on connect, rename our cache folder from 141.11.196.206.7777 to 185.29.166.210.7777 Cache folder is in your Documents, mine is in "C:\Users\Martin\Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files\SAMP\cache" We'll keep the old IP attached for a few days, so a notice shows in the SA-MP server browser, to smoothen the transition. - Martin

  28. Hello, Even though the temperature (at least here in Europe) wouldn't let you think that, summer is coming to a close. We're all slowly returning back to work and school from holidays and time off, though the same can't be said about the development team which has been busy bringing yet another update to our gamemode. Although it's been less than a week since we added five new developers to the team, they've already been hard at work and I can proudly say that the vast majority of today's game update has been prepared by them! Today we're adding quite a few fixes, QOL updates and changes that have been requested for quite a while. 13.3.15 change log is as follows: - Increase max. chips in poker outside casino to $250,000 - Adds /to (+ variations), phone-compatible /me and /do, and /lastame - Added /opencell, /lockcell and /cellmove aliases for QOL - Add info message to /sellhouse - Add fines lookup page to the MDC - Add error message when there's fewer than 3 players at poker table - Changed message when calling 1-800-BLBRD while the system is pending rework. - Reduce time for /helpup to 15 seconds from 120 seconds - Removed unused plugins & code to improve gamemode stability - Addressed server crash - Improve driver's license exam leniency and fix text messages - Fixed some language errors/inconsistencies - Fixed typos in bank statements - Fix area code inconsistencies with payphone adverts - Eject player if drive-bying without a driver - Fix fines amount formatting - Increase maximum impound time to reflect the penal code - Fix vehicle not showing up as impounded in MDC - Allow unloading fish from the boat to avoid taking health damage from physics bug - Save furniture door lock state on reloads - Fix /tv news not recognizing televisions - Remove outstanding crimes when a player has been remanded - Add reason to impounds and add impound history - Allow truckers to use airport gates during fuel/vehicle delivery - Fix /uniform for correctional officers - Disabled /harvest temporarily There's more where that came from as we weren't able to fit everything into one update, so you can expect more updates to follow soon. Happy Gaming - Martin

  29. This game update is a mix and match of minor features, some balanacing (like PD/SD/DCR only getting 2 taser bullets before having to "reload" instead of 150), some QOL furnishing features, and a new feature for the mechanic job - extinguishing car fires! Gone are the days where you need to report for an admin to unlock a door in your complex after a server restart as now all tenants have access to unlock the main door! Tractors have been added for the aspiring country folk among us (sus) and we've added the ability to help yourself up after 5 minutes with /getup. /localweather was added to change the inside weather (meaning we can have rain and such again now that open world interiors can be fixed). Faction businesses have a free parking radius around the entrance, just like houses, and we've reduced the mask requirement to level 3 and the boombox price to $2500. We've also - and get this - we've also fixed those pesky 12 second-long lag spikes with the great help of @Caledonite (not really, he caused a lag spike accidentally) Tester Applications Tester Team applications are now open - feel free to apply no matter where you roleplay in the server as we're always looking for new perspectives! And now the game update. Here's the changelog: Add vehicle fires for emergency responders or mechanics to extinguish Add texture search to furniture editing including .txd name search Add prison cell furniture to /door Add slightly increased limits for outside objects Add reduced ammo to tasers (from 150 ammo to 2 ammo) and reduce /taserid distance Add permission for characters that own apartments within complexes to unlock the main door if it is locked Add prevention for automatic frisk in vehicles Add the tractor to the dealerships Add free parking at faction businesses Add /localweather command Add /getup to help yourself up after being knocked out Add /girlsit to list Add /weaponlist command Add /cutdrug to /drughelp info Add weapons duplication prevention Add notes for off duty officers in the MDC Add button to lookup owner of vehicle in MDC Add registered vehicles lookup to players in MDC Add automatic armour to /duty and add /removearmour command Add California license plate format for faction vehicles Add baitcar operation command support Add admin property commands Add admin logging improvements Change /siren2, add /togsiren2 and allow the usage without being at the vehicle spawn Change OOC mask level requirement to 3 Change boombox price to $2,500 Fix random objects appearing on vehicles Fix for intermittent heavy lag spikes Fix money duplication glitch Fix sending faction messages to civilians Fix spike hit area Remove commands from /anims that don't exist Remove HQ beep sound to audio stream-related combat lag spikes

  31. Hi All Hope everyone had a good starting month to the year 2025, we've not much to report on this month since a lot of our efforts have been going into the well awaited 14.0 SA-MP Feature update that was deployed yesterday, you can find out more about that here: Illegal Faction Team updates We've a small update from our Illegal Faction Team Council; As per the new illegal faction team regulations all new (or recently re-opened) factions are obliged to submit a turf application if they've been around for 2 weeks. This is mostly for quality control, once you have turf. You will be moved from unofficial factions to the main faction board where you will be considered verified. Letters of interest that have been submitted are in the process of being reviewed, these will be finalised by end of the week. Without further ado, onto the staff update; Staff Update This month we're going to be opening up our tester recruitment cycle, we had our last batch of Testers at the beginning of November. 32. COMMUNITY AWARDS 2025 The highly requested community awards have finally made a return! This is an old tradition that we used to do on our old forums. With the return of the Community Awards in 2025, we have decided to do things a bit differently from previous years. This time around, if you win a category, you will receive an award badge on your forum profile corresponding to the category that you won. This award badge will remain with your profile forever. In some categories the badge can only be won by one person, whilst in other categories, the corresponding badge can be won and applied to all members of an entire faction or company. This year the community awards isn't just a popularity content (although some categories will still cover this), but we also have categories that are won based on activity stats, such as "Most Active Unofficial Illegal Faction of 2025", or even view counts on videos. Starting today, you will be able to find the Community Awards 2025 survey on the UCP, where you will be able to vote for your top picks for any of the votable categories. You don't need to vote for all categories, but after you click submit, you will be unable to change your votes. If you would like to enter a stat-based category, you will need to fill out the form found near the bottom of this post and send it to @ROZE. Your faction/company and all of it's members will then be eligible to win the award. Some of the stat based categories only consider stats over the next 2 weeks, meaning if you are a new faction/company, you will still have a chance to win. Scrolling down you will be able to find all of the categories for the Community Awards 2025, as well as the corresponding profile badge that can be won. The ability to vote will end on the 23rd of June, 2025, and the winners will be announced and awarded on the 25th of June, 2025. Votes will only be eligible from accounts created before 11/JUNE/2025. I recommend not rushing into completing the survey as quickly as you can - Give it a couple of days to make sure that you vote for the right people GOOD LUCK! 33. Hey all, We've undertook some work to restructure the forums. Since we re-opened SA-MP back in May 2024 we had some splitting of the forums with the idea that SA-MP and RageMP sections were separate and could operate on their own. We didn't really succeed with this and it was a hot mess, some of the community forums such as player reports being in a RageMP labelled section, but the report was SA-MP only caused confusion. We've now completely separated SA-MP and RageMP on the forums without confusion. Each category has a list of different forums relating to that game server (SA-MP/RageMP) and those that are shared between the two game servers are now under the Community category, such as player reports, faction reports and so on. While I've done as much as I can to tidy this up, there may still be some forums that are incorrectly placed, or permissions aren't correct — so if you see any that needs changing, moving or permissions fixed then report it below, I'll be checking this periodically and making the required changes:

  35. Hello gamers, With today's update, we're adding the ability for any business owner to set an icon for their business. This icon will be then visible during business opening to help players find the business easier. This feature is available to all business owners and carries a symbolic one-time fee of $50k payable in-game. Besides that, we've some tweaks and fixes to offer as well. The whole changelog is as follows: [San Andreas Multiplayer Game Update 13.3.7] - Added /bizicon to select an icon for your business. It will show during business openings. - /openbiz extended to 3 hours instead of 1 by default. - Removed number changes from LS Telefonica - Added /farmerjob navigation and increase command range - Fix rare instances of players unable to log in. - Add information about level restriction when purchasing an item from 24/7. - Members of official illegal factions can now become Mechanics and Truckers. - Added /selldrink for restaurant-type businesses. - Added boxing & kungfu instructor commands to /jobhelp. - Fixed burner phone operator. - Misc. internal optimalizations. Hope you enjoy. On the community side of things, we've some exciting news to share as well. @Michael (artist formerly known as ImperiumXVII) will finally be taking up a managerial spot alongside of Dos & Me. He'll be taking over the Head of Staff role. There's very few people as dedicated to LS-RP as Michael, so I'm very happy with this choice and I know he can help us take the server above and beyond. @badhbh is also stepping in to help out as the Asst. Head of Testers. Congratulations both! That's gonna be it from me for today. See you in-game! - Martin

  36. Premium members have had access to the SA-MP LS-RP server for a few days now, and I'm sure some of you have been wondering what exactly has been going on in the server so far, in this community update we will give an analysis of both the player and staff perspectives of how the pre-launch has gone so far! The Player Perspective: Our premium players have been active on the server, with a steady player base between 40-50 each day at peak hours. There has been activity at all hours of the day, and there has even been some business openings, including casinos and clubs, which have attracted plenty of players each time to make the businesses feel active. We also done a derby event which had a great turnout! PD and SD have been actively patrolling the streets and responding to 911 calls, I personally got a point on my license this week, whilst some others have been in stand offs with swat teams. People have been selling drugs and guns, and there has been plenty of in game faction meetings and roleplay. FD has also been active, sending out those paramedics to anyone who needs them! Civilian roleplayers have been active too, seen attending business openings and doing their daily trucker and mechanic runs. As well as posting their regular ads looking to buy/sell houses, businesses, and cars. There are also a lot of old factions that are returning, two big names include Little Tokyo and Roux Enterprise, each with plenty of returning members. There are many more huge factions on top of this that have said they are looking to return, with a lot of dedicated members. From the company perspective, there are also many returning companies, and there has been a lot of interest in new business leases too. Even with just premium members in the server there has been a lot of ongoing activity and the server has felt active, with plenty of motivation and roleplay from players, the server truly does feel just as it did when we played before, it's not just a hit of nostalgia! The Staff Perspective: The staff team has been pleased with the results of the SA-MP server so far, and our expectations with just the premium members alone have been more than satisfied! We have experienced staff members leading many important roles, which have all been active and working towards making the server run smoothly for the community. Superb, who is the Head of Commerce and Estate team, has been organising properties and businesses to go to auction, as well as getting in contact with companies to see who is still active, in order to make space for new people. The Commerce and Estate team has also been setting up business leases in game and has had a a constant communication with companies and factions to ensure that their needs are met for launch. Imperium has been leading the Legal Factions Team, ensuring that we have a strong and stable legal roleplay scene, and his work has paid off, as we're regularly seeing a good proportion of police online. The illegal faction council has been working with factions to check who will be active, and is able to support factions again where needed. The development team has been ensuring that the server is in the most stable state possible so that we can enjoy a smooth and crash-free official launch. To Conclude: LS-RP on SA-MP is running great, and it feels just like it did before it closed. We've had a lot of fun roleplaying on SA-MP again and we're all really excited for the public launch in just a few days, on the 17th of May, which just so happens to also be our 17th year anniversary. https://whendoeslsrpcomeout.com/ Hopefully this update has been insightful to what has been going on in game for the past few days, and with what we've experienced so far I am confident that LS-RP will be successful on SA-MP again. Thank you, see you in game soon! Community Engagement Team

  37. Hello, As we announced earlier this week, our SA-MP server is finally ready for a pre-release. I want to talk a bit about what this means, why we’re doing it and what’s the plan with (not only) the SA-MP server going forward. When we set out to bring back the SA-MP server a month ago, I had a condition that if we’re doing this, it has to be done right. The SA-MP server has serious legacy and I’d consider it improper to rush it out the door like it’s no big deal. The server and all the data connected to it has been sitting in the vault for around three years now and I was surprised to be reminded just how complex the infrastructure around it is. Over the past month, we’ve been all hands on deck in development and leadership to bring the server out as soon as possible, no compromise. Majority of the work we’ve done was captured on our SA-MP Roadmap, which we kept updated periodically to keep you in the loop on our progress. There’s still a lot more to do, mainly staff and admin tools, and strengthening our AntiCheat, which has honestly been lackluster even three years ago, let alone now. We want to be prepared for the players and do our best to provide a fun space to play. I’ll be honest I’m surprised by the amount of people interested in the pre-release already. We opened the server up to premium members yesterday, a day earlier than promised. As of writing this, 130 players have joined the pre-release so far by activating a premium membership (including those with leftover credits from Patreon). And that’s only during the sneaky-surprise-don’t-tell-anyone pre-pre-release! But yes, it’s a huge relief to see the interest this early on. It allows the community to be self-sustainable for the foreseeable future without having to worry how to pool funds to keep the lights on. So I’d like to extend my gratitude to everyone who chose to donate by purchasing a premium membership, or plans on doing so - thanks to you we’re able to keep going. Thankfully we haven’t experienced any major issues during the pre-release yet. We found a few issues in our infra, but nothing we couldn’t fix over the upcoming week. We’ll see what we’ll have thrown our way still. The early stability is a testament to the great work that’s been done by our staff team - thank you everyone who tested, developed or otherwise helped prepare for this milestone. We're listening, hearing, watching and seeing. Your feedback during pre-release and post-launch is very important to us and we'll use it to shape what's going to be prioritized going forward. I've put our head of project @Sal (and of course rest of our lead team as well) on a mission to put the needs of the community, and the server, first and help us translate that into actions. We also realize the importance of marketing efforts we need to do now, and we're on top of it. To join the pre-release: Make an account on our User Control Panel Fill out a character application (or just create a character if you already have one and want another) Purchase credits and activate Premium Membership in the Premium Central Download SA-MP 0.3.DL-R1 Connect to server.ls-rp.com:7777 using your account name ("UCP name") Optionally, you can download the model cache directory from our Model List Page. Looking forward seeing many familiar, and new faces ingame! IC Social Media As promised, we’re also launching an In Character social media platform for our SA-MP server. Since we already use faceinvader for RAGE, welcome our newest domain portfolio addition: myface.site. The facebook inspired IC social media platform is available to use now and anyone can make account, even if you’re not a part of the pre-release, or are otherwise unable to go ingame. Contact @badhbh, the head of in-game social media platforms in case you have any questions. Model Previews About four-five years ago I started working on a suite of tools to allow us to render any models from GTA:SA in the browser. This includes skins, vehicles (including mods!), objects, custom maps and so on. I spent some time dusting it off and adding support for edge cases in RW rendering and optimizing it so we can fully utilize it in our pipeline. What this allows us to do is to not only render all your skins and modded vehicles on the UCP and render them in real time in your browser, but for example it allowed us to render the entire GTA:SA map, including our custom maps (including custom game models!) and outside furniture, in great detail. You can see a small preview of it already when you change spawn on the UCP, but just to get a picture for the actual scale of it, check out this POC and try zooming around different parts of the map to see (not only) our custom mapping in great detail. While this was maybe a bit over the top to prepare for a simple skin and spawn change, it lays out great potential for a very powerful “map on the web” feature, once we take full advantage of it. Anyway just something I got excited about. Aerial view of a custom map in Pershing Square and the custom LSPD Metro Station V-estern Front For our RAGE Multiplayer server, we’re currently testing two features: in-game television system to watch content together, and an improved minigame (breakin). I’ve also started work on a Casino Roulette script, as another part in our Gamba Feature Series. Don't forget to have fun. Martin
