  1. The Government of Ireland defines the Irish diaspora as all persons of Irish nationality who habitually reside outside the island of Ireland. This includes Irish citizens who have emigrated abroad and their children, who are Irish citizens by descent under Irish law. The Irish diaspora in America has profoundly shaped the cultural, social, and political landscape of the nation, with millions of Americans claiming Irish ancestry and celebrating their heritage. The Irish people were the first of many to immigrate to the U.S. in mass waves, many Irish fled their home country to escape unemployment and starvation during the Great Irish Famine. The richest of the Irish resettled in England, where their skilled work was greatly accepted, but lower class Irish and women could find little work in Western Europe, leading them to cross the Atlantic in search of greater financial opportunities. However, the usage of Irish diaspora is generally not limited by citizenship status, thus leading to an estimated (and fluctuating) membership of up to 80 million persons; the second and more emotive definition. The Irish Government acknowledged this interpretation although it did not acknowledge any legal obligations to persons in this larger diaspora, when Article 2 of the Constitution of Ireland was amended in 1998 to read "Furthermore, the Irish nation cherishes its special affinity with people of Irish ancestry living abroad who share its cultural identity and heritage." Irish Catholics were popular targets of stereotyping in the 19th century. According to historians, the media often stereotyped the Irish in America as being boss-controlled, violent both among themselves and others, voting illegally, prone to alcoholism and dependent on street gangs that were often violent or criminal. In the name of God and of the dead generations from which she receives her old tradition of nationhood, Ireland, through us, summons her children to her flag and strikes for her freedom.

  2. Welcome to the monthly Faction Newsletter. This is your monthly update on the latest developments within the faction scene. This newsletter is designed to provide transparency by sharing high-level insights from internal discussions, spotlighting a featured faction each month, and highlighting any groups reaching candidate or official status. Faction of the Month This month's Faction Spotlight is 59th & Harlow Bloods, a group that has demonstrated outstanding growth, creativity, and consistent impact across the illegal RP scene. From the outset, they’ve showcased a unique, story-driven approach to character development while maintaining strong standards of roleplay quality and OOC professionalism. The Illegal Faction Council would like to highlight Harlow's activity as a whole, they've shown an intense activity as of late and can be found at almost any time populating the streets of Idlewood. As always, we encourage anyone interested in getting involved with 59th & Harlow Bloods to reach out to their faction leader; @Robby-T The Harlow thread stands out as one of the few that captures both the day-to-day roleplay and a cohesive, evolving storyline. Their ability to balance grounded, passive roleplay with engaging schemes and rackets makes their faction feel more dynamic. If your faction would like to be considered for the next spotlight, continue pushing your creativity and standing out in meaningful ways. Key areas that can set your faction apart include strong character portrayal, showcasing unique media or roleplay, and maintaining a clean administrative record by following server rules. Keep in mind that receiving a Faction Spotlight also makes your faction eligible for perks and you can speak directly with the IFC to explore how they can support you in continuing your faction’s progression. We look forward to carrying on this tradition and recognizing another deserving faction in the coming month. Every faction has an opportunity to be recognized so keep building, innovating, and contributing to the community. Furnishing Competition Award Last month, we launched a furnishing competition to highlight creativity within the community, and we’re excited to announce the winners: 🥇 @Edrian 🥈 @husoparac11 🥉 @fruit IFC will be reaching out to each winner regarding their rewards and next steps. The Illegal Faction Team/Council have thoroughly enjoyed watching the progress, and voting for a winner - the unique designs and effort that went into each submission has been remarkable. So much so that in the Illegal Faction Team meeting, it was agreed that each submission will receive 300 credits as a token of appreciation for their participation. Internal Updates We’d also like to congratulate Black Organized Crime for being selected as an official faction candidate. The minute Black Organized Crime opened, we were receiving feedback regarding the quality of screenshots present on their thread. BOC not only show-case a high standard of roleplay, their screenshots are some of the most cinematic so far. We look forward to seeing their continued development and impact on the server. Their consistency, creativity, and strong presence make them a standout group with tremendous potential moving forward. IFT is currently open for recruitment, and we’re looking for active, dedicated, and experienced members to join the team. It is an ideal time to bring in individuals who want to contribute more to the illegal roleplay scene. As a member of the Illegal Faction Team, you’d be involved in voting on weapon, drug, and solo scheme applications, reviewing turf map submissions, handling faction reports, and providing meaningful feedback on server rules and upcoming development projects aimed at improving illegal roleplay. If you’re interested in helping shape the future of the server. If you would like more details, you can find additional information Illegal Faction Team - Letter of Interest. As a reminder, all the schemes are currently open as follows: Faction Drug Scheme — OPEN Faction Prison Scheme — CLOSED Strawmen Scheme — CLOSED Solo Scheme Drugs — OPEN Weapons — (Refer to Strawman Scheme) Melee — OPEN Scenario Scheme — OPEN Business Scheme — OPEN If you would like more details, you can find additional information SA-MP Illegal Available Schemes. More custom models are being added to the server for community use. Some items are currently delayed due to branded assets requiring adjustment, but we are actively working through these issues. As this progresses, we’ll continue rolling out additional custom mods and models to support a wider variety of roleplay opportunities. Changes to Official Faction Perks Official factions are expected to remain active and serve as leaders in providing roleplay to the community. If a faction is not consistently engaging in meaningful roleplay or contributing to the server’s environment, their official status may be revoked. IFC has begun a focused initiative to review overall faction activity and will issue strikes or take further action where necessary to maintain quality and accountability across the board. The warehouse supply has been reduced, and factions may have the opportunity to re-up based on community feedback and demonstrated need. Additionally, we’ve implemented a 50% reduction in firearms distributed to official factions. This decision was made for several reasons, most notably the amount of stockpiling occurring across the server including by players not actively roleplaying within factions. A significant portion of guns originating from official warehouses ended up in the hands of individuals using them for the wrong reasons. For context: Before the reduction, up to 2,600 guns per month could enter the economy. After the cut and warehouse adjustments, that number is now closer to 1,500. These changes aim to create a healthier, more balanced weapon economy and promote more meaningful, character-driven roleplay around supply, distribution, and conflict. If adjustments are needed over time, we’ll revisit based on faction engagement and feedback. Rage Updates Behind the scenes, there is still extensive development underway for the RAGE Multiplayer relaunch, with both developers and administrators working on backend to ensure a smooth reopening. While concerns around GTA: V continue to surface, we want to reassure everyone that the SA-MP community remains the primary focus of the Illegal Faction Team. Progress on V is ongoing in the background, and as soon as there are meaningful updates, the IFT will be notified. In the coming weeks, we expect to have more information to share and will keep the community updated accordingly. Ongoing Discussions and Upcoming Focus Areas We’d like to take a moment to share a brief overview of several internal discussions currently underway within the Illegal Faction Team. These highlights reflect key topics from our recent monthly meetings and areas we’re actively reviewing and improving. If there’s something you’d like to see added to future discussions, please reach out to @Scumpy, who will ensure your suggestions are included if they haven’t already been raised. For those who wish to connect directly with the team, our Illegal Faction Team Discord is open to the community. A ticket system is in place to allow you to reach out with any questions, feedback, or concerns. You can join here. Meeting Notes Recent faction status updates were reviewed, including new candidacy movements and posted threads. Development and mod-related updates were discussed, including minor delays and ongoing backend work to improve illegal roleplay features. Adjustments to faction systems such as warehouse supply and activity monitoring were outlined, along with clarifications on platform focus and upcoming initiatives tied to monthly spotlights.

  3. This faction aims to portray an authentic and respectful representation of the Irish, and Irish Traveller community and their illicit activities in America. Our focus is on cultural accuracy, character-driven storytelling, and realistic economic motivations rather than stereotypes. Our goal is to deliver believable, immersive roleplay that highlights the social and economic pressures shaping these live; without glorifying crime or misrepresenting the culture. 9. Wesside Niffty Niccle Gang / Grimey Ninetys Rollin 90's Neighborhood Crips, also known as Grimey Ninetys, Niffty Niccles, or Jo Gang (from Jesse Owens Park), is a criminal organization of a street gang operating in the western part of Los Angeles. JO Gang is not limited only to the African-American community and, like most gangs in the 21st century, it is not difficult to include mixed races or lightskins, and even got some real well known lightskin members (Cameron /Milk/ Terrell). Niffty Niccles falls under the Deuces (2X) umbrella, and Rollin Crips at the same time. This gang is one of the most active Deuces gangs in West LA, despite its small size. Just like most of the Neighborhood Crip gangs the Rollin 90's be beefing with every gang thats under the Trays (3x) card, and a perfect example of a Tray gang that 90's be beefing with is Eight Tray Gangster Crips - the biggest rival of Nifftys from under the Tray umbrella. They highly beefing with every gang that falls under the Family Bloods card too, such as; Inglewood Family Gangster Bloods, Crenshaw Mafia Gangster Bloods, Centinela Park Family Gangster Bloods. The Rollin 90's have gained a lot of dark fame since the murder of well known 74 Hoover Criminals member - T-Suppa. The murder was committed by Smacc, who, interestingly, five minutes before the shootout, went live on Instagram, saying that he had spotted T-Suppa at the intersection of 108th and Broadway. T-Suppa murder was a part of a getback for Smacc's friend, who was killed, and his photos after his death were posted on the Internet, showing him, and his family a huge disrespect.

  13. The North American player base seems to have fallen right off, there's maybe 9 people online in my timezone (GMT-8) on any given night when I can actually play. The server was always most active in European (?) timezones, but the player base has definitely shifted heavily that way. LSRP is nostalgia for me, I joined this in 2009 and always check in from time to time. It had a resurgence during 2020 lockdown and when the SAMP version came back online again. After reuniting with old faction mates, I'm pretty sure they left for GTA 5 and other shit. Nostalgia isn't enough to keep me RPing, not steadily with a faction anyways. Usually find myself trolling for a bit then logging out. That being said, SA:MP and LS:RP still has plenty of potential. LSRP has a well made script and blueprint for its roleplayers. But every player who logs in for the first time that runs around, has nothing to do, no car to drive, and nobody to play with, that logs out for good is a big loss for the server at this point. Because the old base has aged out and the new base grew up with GTA 5. If the player base continues to fizzle out they are gonna have to find a way to streamline the process for new players to get acquainted with the server. Running into LS from the airport with no license to get a rental isn't a thrilling start.

  15. I joined this server pretty late, last November. Played very actively, until March, took a long break, just returned like September or so. Before I took a break, everyone was saying the server's dying blablabla, but I came back months later and it's still active, I still found the same people RPing the same thing as when I took the break. What I found is that here, even with small playerbase, there's more RP than on a large server with hundreds of players. Can we just not say SAMP is dead?! I've seen SAMP servers currently with 700+ players. Whining is not going to solve anything. Before I tried GTA:V RP, I thought SAMP was cooked, too, but after going on a heavy text RP server there, I realized it's not the case. V offers a different kind of RP than SAMP. The two can coexist with each other. Statistically, it's more likely to find people who are willing to play on LS-RP than not. Food for thought: Gamers worldwide: ~3.2 billion Even if only 0.01% of gamers are interested in text-based RP, that’s 320,000 potential players. A healthy server only needs 400–500 players. My question to everyone: how do you expect more players if the only people knowing about LS-RP either accidentally found it or came back for the nostalgia? Advertising is the key to get more players. I believe that more people can run SAMP than GTA:V.

  16. Sadly I'll have to lean on the same side as the comments above, fact is, the server’s overstaffed and half the staff aren’t even proper SAMP admins. The ones left are either incompetent or too tangled up in everything. When the people meant to enforce rules are the same ones writing and benefiting from them, the system collapses into a self-serving circle. The same guy doing drug schemes is the main investigator, the same guy doing company schemes is doing events, and I can keep going. Feels like 40% of the playerbase are staff "stakeholders". I've tried my best to add value to this server either through staff applications, scheme applications, company requests, etc. and every time I was not allowed to have the things that would develop my RP or allow me to have a smidge chance to change something. Additionally I've pointed out many times that the server glorifies illegal RP to the point where any attempt to do something outside of that scene feels like a waste of time. As for me - I’m stepping away from LS-RP entirely. I’ll be exploring other RP platforms and focusing on other games for now. You can only polish the same broken machine for so long. Last Friday at 8 PM my time the server had 25 players on and I'm not about to lose sleep just to meet someone I probably won't even enjoy playing with.
