I only played this game for a while, after that I deleted it

despite it's flaws, i adore this game (im bias cause the cyberpunk genre is my fav) have about 160+ hours, 3 playthroughs, bought it on ps5 and pc - unpopular opinion

The game was extremely hyped and ultimatley turned out to be a disappointment. The soundtrack and the map design is beautiful though, I'll give them that.

I also read that Keanu Reeves being a part of the game resulted in them having to change the entire storyline to get their money's worth. Imo way too much was put into marketing the game rather than actual development. I do believe that it will be polished after some years and will be more enjoyable for everyone.

 

It's crazy because they had 7 years of development.

Everywhere I turned around there was at least a poster of Cyberpunk 2077. After the launch, all of them disappeared. The game turned out to be a complete mess, full of bugs, nothing like they showed at E3 or their so called "actual gameplay".

the game was always fun to me, it just missed a lot of details and the launch was just bad, but now with 1.5 patch? It does look more polished

Passed it in 10 hours after it's release on day 1. I love the game to bits even though I don't play it as much as I'd like to. And with the continuous modding from the playerbase and support to fix a rushed game. I feel like it'll go far - although if it hadn't been offered to me, I wouldn't have bought it.

Because of the community they rushed the development. Now I think they fixed many things in the game.

I heard 1.5 patch fixed a lot of or most of the issues with the game but they still have more work to do. I'll wait till patch 2.0 before I play.

played some of it after the 1.5 patch. i shot down a bunch of civilians and as i turn around suddenly there is a group of 5 police officers standing next to me. i ran away and in the next street everyone was walking like nothing has happened.

 

honestly it feels like im still playing some kind of cheap ass game

Played it after launch. Managed to get past the main storyline and end it. Unfortunately the game was so unfinished. Way too many bugs. Some were visual, so did bother a bit but you could at least progress through the story. Others made you restart the game because you simply could not progress further. Had a lot of expectations from this game. Such a shame.

I'm playing on some kind of "harder than normal" difficulty and I enjoy the challenge, but the storyline is not engaging and there are still bugs. It also annoys me that my Corpo character isn't any more unique than the others; it's like that choice in the beginning barely means a thing.
