What PC is required for GTA V / fiveM

Hey peoples,

 

Unfortunately I have a macbook and can't play GTA V. (i don't want to install windows or any other reroutes).

I'd really like to buy a game laptop / pc to occasionally enjoy a good play on fiveM

 

Now, i don't want to spend too much on it because I'll only buy it to play GTA V, which wont be often. I'd still want to enjoy the game in its full glory which means optimized graphics. What do you have as current PC setup? And what can you recommend me? I'm curious!

The requirements for playing GTA V doesn't need you to buy a high-end PC. Check the requirements online but you can easily play it with $400-500 PC spec. But however, it's required that you have a steady internet connection though.

I can tell that 400 or 500 is not enough! You'll need to be around atleast 800 to 1000.

A GTX970 or above is fine.

I mean I have a 3080ti and a  very overkill cpu but honestly a Gtx 1050 and I5 CPU would be the pretty much minimum, good enough to run the game solid 60fps average. Its waht I started it with.

I have a GTX 970 still and average around 50fps, if you have the budget I'd try get into the 10 series if you want a smoother experience.

Also the game itself is around 100gb so I would recommend getting a pretty good SSD and an extra HDD if possible. If you're gonna be only playing GTA 5 then I think around 240gb SSD will work fine

Make sure you've got enough ram too. They say minimum is 8gb, but I recommend 16 gb's.

i got a gtx 1050 ti and ryzen 5 3600x can confirm it runs well on rage but ram is also important minimum 16 for rage

Yeah atleast 16gb of ram is 100% necessary, when I had 8 i had extreme stutters in my game.

16gb ram is a must, as for the gpu and cpu anything will really work as long as you're playing on low/mid settings.

i have 12gb ram ddr3 (lol) and i7 3700K(10 year old gen) and GTAV runs pretty smooth on my pc.
