Try not to be the super strict community like the other ones that exist. Let people enjoy it as long as they're not Mass DMing or hacking.

What I realized is PD does not go to any calls unless there is a gun involved. You can call for anything, someone stole a car? They'll drive right by it.

@Mmartin please send out emails. like @NASTY said there's hundreds of thousands of registered players, do some email marketing, send them out now so in a week everyone who has ever played will know. go into Discords, DM people spread the word

That was random. All I'm saying is I'm glad it went well, I guess. But for the actual release of the server there needs to be some sort of build up and hype for it to just pop off huge for the public release. Half the people anticipating this release don't even have the game installed yet I bet. Maybe make a reward or something too for people who come to the 1st day public release. You need hype, build up, anticipation, and it can't be random like this was. U gotta have people saying "I can't wait till LSRP drops on Saturday!" or whenever.

Will there be a modding section added to the SAMP forum division so people can REL their skins again? 😄

My question is more based towards the forums. Why not just continue to dedicate this forum to V and take the old forum - take everything that sits in it now and just make a section called "old forum archive" - preserving the memories from pre-closing, allowing us to utilize said forum fresh so we don't get too cluttered on this one? Terrible explanation but like this: Obviously keep those old posts in an archive read only state but keep all the other sections. Would that be easier?

This is a personal opinion and nothing more - but that's the nail in the coffin for this community. Not saying it's your mindset that going back to SAMP would be taking steps back, because IMO it's not - but I think taking steps backwards would be continuing with GTA V. People clear as day have showed interest in SAMP. I don't know how LSRP intends on bringing some more people to it's server but I think no matter what it does, it just won't happen. It doesn't matter how much more effort goes into V, the script, events - whatever. Everything about GTA V is too much to strive on with a community that daily plays less than 100 people, averaging 30-50. Now would that be more possible on SAMP? 100 percent. Like stated above "On SA-MP everyone knows where the main hubs are and where to find other people" - and with clients such as Open MP coming one day (?) I think LSRP could be number 1 on SAMP again. I just can't see how people could play GTA V with 100-150 people on it, mind you most of the time I see 30-50 people on. What do you even do?

I can agree with that. The whole bit. SAMP is not dead, nor did it ever die. The saying "you don't know what you have until it's gone" really applies here. People eat up nostalgia and I agree if some streamers on FB, Twitch, YT etc showcase how good the server is, on top of everyone returning from RCRP/V - it'd be a new era. (also if we ever did go back i'd hope we use the old forums 😄 )

I think they'd have more than 100-150 people daily, RCRP is getting like 300 people and the concept of that is niche considering the location. I'm sure people miss LSRP's script, the map location, and the staff. If they came back strong, it'd pop off crazy. The script's already done, just listen to the community and add some new stuff to SAMP and lets get the ball rolling. As I said here: "What would bring me back to LSRP? 43 people IG / 5000 - SAMP competitor had 300 people when I wrote that post earlier. Heavy text RP.

This. Also an important key feature is I want to feel like I'm playing something different, unique, new. I want to feel like I'm playing LSRP. LSRP was great on SAMP because well...you can tell it was LSRP. It wasn't like RCRP, PRRP etc etc. It was LSRP! Within time I think this vibe will come forward.
