    Applications Open

    and the floodgates open
  2. Something I'd definitely like to see possible, especially when it comes to ageing characters up and such.
  3. massive learning curve but 100% worth, especially if you play with friends. if you don't? there's plenty of communities to get involved with
  4. You can, yeah. 5 players in a match last I remember. I've got it but haven't played it in a while, it's fun though.
  5. Indeed they are. And even if Tactical Medics are a thing on LSRP V, they won't be replacing the role of a Paramedic at all. If anything, they'd provide life saving medical attention to those in need (in the absence of a Paramedic or assisting a Paramedic) and stabilise the patient until either transported or until a Paramedic arrives. Nobody's wanting to take any roleplay away from FD, if anything, we'd end up working with them more and in better detail than we would in the absence of Tactical Medics.
  6. This is something I can definitely see happening more. Mindset in general has changed a lot over the past few years. There's also so much more to do in GTA V than there was in GTA SA and I'm hoping to see this, along with regular business openings incorporated into things so roleplaying offduty would become the norm.
  7. It only usually goes on sale for the bigger Russian holidays, honestly not sure when the next one will be. It's a lot of fun and a lot of pain at the same time. Learning curve is massive like the others have mentioned so it's not really one for the faint hearted.
  8. end of 2011, surprised I'm still here but looking forward to LSRP V
  9. anybody else got the armband?
  10. Glad to see things are getting traction quickly, looking forward to the opening!
  11. Just get it through the Xbox Game Pass if you're looking to try it.
  12. Yeah, I'm 1329 hours deep and I still love it. Modding opens up so much within the game. I'd only really like to see ArmA 4 for an upgrade in graphics, animations and performance as mods for ArmA 3 have provided so much more than that. MilSim's a lot of fun too if you haven't got into it yet, it's all about finding the right unit and how realistic/strict you want it to be though.
  13. Trailer above still didn't show much but I'll definitely be getting it. Can't complain about paying £20 per game for some nostalgia. I'm just hoping that them pushing it to a different engine and making changes to the core game hasn't made it stupidly buggy.
  14. System looks really good and seems to work well too. I'd like to see IRL brands for clothing as it widens the amount and variants of clothing available. There seems to be a lot more IRL brand clothing mods out there in comparison to lore.
  15. Got it preloaded, word from content creators who already have access seems mixed so far. We'll see though.
  16. Had it for a long ass time, from pre-order but it's a shame to see how little it has been developed since then. I've been playing it a-lot more recently but I wish there was some more development, even if it's just cosmetics to work towards via rank or role progression. Definitely needs more maps, theatres and playable factions. Hopefully the move onto console brings a boost in revenue for them so they can bring more to the game.
  17. Interesting to see Custody Deputies brought in early especially as the first stepping stone into the department (unless I'm mistaken and you mean there's two lines, one being for Custody Deputy and one for Patrol Deputy). If it is one line and that being everyone starts in Custody, that's a tad worrying considering we don't know what the playerbase will be like as well as the consistent population of the jail/prison. Jail/prison roleplay can be pretty niche and can also depend on the script/features available so I'm hoping there would be quite a bit there as well to encourage further roleplay.
  18. Regularly opened businesses on GTA V are beneficial to provide roleplay to an area and is a great avenue of bringing players together so I'd like to see them more readily available in comparison to LSRP on GTA SA. Players should be allowed to apply for a business however with that said, should have the necessary experience in the field they're applying for and also have a solid business plan in place. Factions should also be able to apply for them with the same requirements however I personally believe that factions/groups/companies should be prioritised over individuals - though if the individual's app makes complete sense and trumps the faction's then the individual should receive it. Examples of how this can be done are: Property Management pick out a bunch of businesses which have in game signs/advertising on the property - they then have it scripted in and add an application to it on the UCP. Players may also pick out a spot which is unused and request a custom business in said location. Factions send a letter of interest into the Faction Team who then take the LOI into discussion before forwarding it onto Property Management. As for what? Player owned vehicle dealerships, bars, restaurants, night clubs, mechanic garages, fast food businesses, movie theatre, breweries, rentable offices (similar to how the business requests would go). There should be no restrictions on the types of businesses as long as the story and business plan make sense - obviously within script limitations. Scripts? Vehicle dealerships - ability to add a vehicle to the businesses' inventory and add a visible price on it. Bars, restaurants, night clubs, fast food businesses - ability to create custom items (food/physical objects - drinks can be handled by breweries) - once the item is created or obtained, it can be added to the business inventory and an employee either buys it (money goes to business bank) or has a command to sell X Inventory Slot to PLAYER which then also goes to the business bank. Mechanic garages - mechanic script which requires someone with the job to either be next to a towtruck which has components or be within X distance of a mechanic garage which has components. Players will pull up to the garage in their vehicle, pick the modifications they want out from a menu, ICly a catalogue or tablet and from there the mechanic will roleplay it all out. Movie theatre - script where employees can play youtube videos on the big screen. Possibly incorporate this to TV's if possible too? Breweries - employees require X ingredients to brew X alcohol and it takes X amount of time. They may also choose to import alcohol in however this would take longer to encourage in depth roleplay around the concept. Imported alcohol could come in the form of craft liquor or custom liquor which is then renamable to whatever alcohol they deem fit. Rentable offices - self explanatory really, application on the UCP, works similar to business applications. Once accepted, a member of Property Management or X Level Admin gives the player keys to said office, they don't physically own it. Once they have keys, they have to deposit/wire X amount per week/month to pay the rent.
