I've encountered a few servers with similar standards to lsrp. But it seems they use /do for majority of their encounters haha

Beside rockstar games it seems the roleplaying standard is all over the place. I personally have never encountered an extension of a game that is as well developed as what we are provided here. Although, I would be curious to know if I have the wrong impression! Any suggestions?

I actually have a question that could be mutually taken as constructive criticism. Is there a plan for the LSPD to ultimately present this legal faction to outsiders? General presentation is if you have no experience but you're interested- it won't work out, unless you know someone. Which in essence is how a lot of things happen in life but in this time of 'drought' do you have a new plan to present recruitment to not only the public, but players who are genuinely interested and have no idea how to get involved even if they wanted to?

I think this could be rephrased as skater culture. Skate boarding can be roleplayed solely through text. I also understand what you are saying though because it generally all becomes a pretty intertwined culture irl. Back in 2015 there were skater gangs and they had rivals. Their roleplay was interesting but I think the reason it ultimately succeeded was because it actually wasn't so much about skating itself. It was a reoccurring theme in the faction essentially. In example. A medical TV show might just be a drama following the lives of first responders prior to and after surgeries. Rather than focusing on the actual medical practice itself. I find the need to express the urgency to players interested in roleplaying in factions like this to create a level of diversification that exceeds the norm. Obviously you cant metagame but get an idea of what direction you want your character to develop in. Think of unique potential scenes to insert into situations that are applicable as they occur in game. Try not to think black and white on the subject. You're likely to catch people with more to offer than just A and B. In the case. (A)Hanging out and (B)Skating, might not be enough for the players on a community seeking a level of hyper realism. Consider creating a topic on either screen shots and videos and when you begin to accumulate a few friends consistently make a request for the admins to move it over to the factions topic 🙂 I think this idea is under used and has tons of potential that differs from your average clan-warfare like approach criminal factions participate in behind the scenes. I hope to see this. People like me would get involved if someone put initiative behind it.
