Dope update. Glad to hear new features are in the works

This whole revival of SAMP LSRP has been one hell of a nostalgia trip for a lot of us.

If my mother is still alive by time this comes around I would request that prison allows her to make her homemade cheese burgers she made when I was growing up w/ real deli American cheese, mayo on a toasted bun, onions, and her homemade French fries as a side and as a topping on the burger. If she's not then it would be two filet mignon wrapped w/ bacon, a loaded baked potato, canned Green Giant spinach, mac and cheese, and the rolls and butter from Texas Road House.

I would try deleting whatever copy of GTA sa you have and use one of these. Either Gporium's GTA or Roze's GTA. These are both known working, entire copies of GTA that you can just install, put on a drive, and launch samp/omp right away. No need to crack or downgrade anything.

It all comes down to personal taste. What you might not find interesting or fund someone else might be okay dealing with because they enjoy the other aspects a great deal more and are willing to overlook the downsides. There are positive sides and negative sides to all roleplay. Certain types of roleplay attract certain types of people. That's how it is with everything in life. I don't think deciding EVERYTHING via poll is the best option. Most times true democracies are not a good idea at scale because what the majority of people want might not actually be healthy for the server/community as a whole. However, the input from the player base should be heavily weighed over almost all other factors to a certain degree.

I have a very vivid memory of a situation where myself and another cop that were partnered pulled up to the Willowfield Cluckin bell and RP'd order food when the local gang rolled up into the parking lot and started talking shit and harassing us. Instead of escalating the scene and calling for backup, my partner at the time hopped out and squared up with their OG. My partner proceeded to beat the brakes off this gang RPer and then the gang let us go our separate way with the bragging rights. That is by far one of those memories from back in the day that lives in my head rent free. @Wildcat

Great update, genuinely excited for the direction the server is going.

Honestly I think that this is a good idea and really the only way to implement it. The only challenging part I for see is implementing a way to ensure that if a group of people rob someone they all incur the same timer. This is needed to prevent people from taking turns using up their robbing limits so that way they can chain robberies. I understand /rob and /robaccept are RPGish, but it's a minor drawback compared to benefits it will provide.

I second this. In my opinion that was the main contributor to the server losing popularity. Regular and consistent updates are IMPERATIVE to keeping the server alive and people interested. I personally have not been this invested and eager to roleplay in years and I honestly get the same feeling playing nowadays that I did back in the day. I know quite a few people that share that same exact mindset. In order to not lose that interest so many people have is to make it worth our time and consistently improve the script and community. I also think that it would be worth investing into a team whether it be extended staff or a staff team specifically geared towards assimilating new players into the game and helping them learn the correct way to play and RP on the server rather than having such a FiveM/light rp mindset that I feel a lot of the new players seem to have.

LSRP has always had a problem with being robbed even back in the day. I honestly don't feel like this has changed at all. You need to pay attention to your surroundings and not put yourself in a position to be robbed. That is honestly how it has always been IMO. As far as the general quality of RP, I have to agree unfortunately. To me it seems like the average level of RP has gone down a lot. ESPECIALLY when it comes to driving. I don't remember the driving on the server to be as crazy as it is now. It feels almost light RP level at times and it literally makes me hate driving. I try to avoid driving as much as possible.

If you haven't already check your anti-virus. Some anti-viruses will come with a built in VPN or a separate program w/ a free trial that automatically starts when you first download the anti-virus.
