Howdy gamers, Today marks an incredible milestone for our community - Los Santos Roleplay is now eighteen years old. That’s old enough to vote, drive, purchase alcohol in most of the world (shout-out US of A), or take out a an unfavorable loan to finance a vehicle that’ll drop in value by half the moment you drive it off the lot. Yay! Around this time last year, when LS-RP was turning 17, we re-released our San Andreas Multiplayer server. Although it’s been a whirlwind of a year since then, I must say re-launching SA-MP has been one of the best decisions we’ve ever made - which is something to say, considering I was adamantly against it until last minute. I feel our unsuccessful effort to transition into GTA V throughout 2023-2024 humbled us a lot. We learned a great deal about our approach to the community and how to prioritize our efforts so they’re as impactful as they can be. I’ve said this before, but I can’t overstate how happy I am with the place LS-RP is in currently. Not without flaws for sure, however after years of looking at descending trendlines, barring the occasional boost (RAGE launch, SA-MP relaunch), we’re finally seeing organic, steady growth month over month, for the past half year or so. A statistic that keeps surprising me every time I remember it is that over half of the players who play our SA-MP server today have never played LS-RP before we relaunched the SA-MP. That really goes to show this platform is still thriving and gives us the drive to continue improving it for a long time to come. Credit where credit is due, none of this would be possible without the amazing staff we have, and the passionate, engaged community which keeps pushing the envelope year by year, and day by day. So shout-out to all of you, and an even louder shout-out to people who refuse to simply embrace the status quo but instead choose to actively look for ways how to improve the community and our servers. I do my best to surround myself with people like that, as comfort and complacency are my (and LS-RP’s) worst enemies. To bring you some RAGE updates - we’re currently working on the last few features to finish before relaunch. We’ll be integrating the new Insider scheme shortly as we enter a testing phase to make sure all the features our RAGE team has worked on tirelessly for the past year work well. I’m stoked to show you some of the features and mechanics we came up with. There’s so much more I want to say in regards to RAGE, however as I mentioned a good few times previously, I’ve learned from my mistakes and I won’t speak on them too soon. But we’re close. Very close. Birthday Giveaway To celebrate LS-RP turning 18, we’re also giving away a month of free Premium membership to 18 of our players. Each hour spent in-game between 17th of May 2025 00:00 GMT+1 and 31st of May 2025 23:59 GMT+1 including, translates into 1 ticket for the giveaway. The more tickets you collect, the better chance of winning you have! Winners will be drawn on June 1st, 2025. We restrict the right to remove a player from the giveaway pool at our discretion, for example but not limited to if evidence is found of abusing the system to avoid AFK kicks, excessive AFK kicks, or if the player is banned at the time of drawing. No purchase is necessary to enter the giveaway, as LS-RP is free to play. Premium members do not receive preferential treatment during drawing. All players, including staff members have equal probability of winning per amount of tickets collected. Happy birthday, LS-RP, here’s to another 18!

Hello gamers, After months of hard work from our development team, we’re excited to reintroduce the Rage Insider Team – initiative designed to bring passionate community members into the heart of LS-RP 3.0’s development process. RAGE Insider You might be asking what the RAGE Insider Team is; it is your chance to get early access to upcoming features, updates and testing modules before the official re-release. You’ll be part of the team that has a direct role in shaping our RAGE server by providing valuable feedback that helps refine our gamemode for public relaunch. If you are dedicated, want to get involved, enjoy testing new systems and have ideas to share, we want you onboard. Please see the requirements to join the team below: Prior RAGE:MP experience Ability to provide insightful and constructive feedback Willingness to participate in testing activities and feedback sessions/topics Whether you just started following LS-RP:V’s development or have been a long time member of the community and want to help shape its future, consider applying if you'd like to contribute. Bare in mind, this role requires you to actively test features on our RAGE server as we inch closer to a well anticipated relaunch. Please send your letters of interest to @danut via a private message, include a bit about yourself, and why you'd like to contribute and help test. Applications will be responded to in bulk, please allow us a week or two to start setting you up. We've some exciting news regarding our RAGE comeback we'd like to start sharing soon. I know plenty of our players are excited for this one, and we'll hold a community meeting during May to bring you more information on that front (& answer your questions, of course). We've been intentionally keeping information on the down-low, but this will change as we're approaching our goals for the relaunch. Stay tuned! Tester Recruitment We're also opening tester recruitment as of today. If you'd like to join our team as a fully fledged tester, I encourage you to read more & apply here! We're also continuously looking for new developers, modders, mappers and more for both our SA-MP and RAGE servers - you can find more information here: Staff Recruitment - Los Santos Roleplay Thanks for your attention and I'm eager to share more exciting updates with you in our upcoming monthly update at the beginning of May.

Hey all, I hope the start of the spring term is bringing out everyone's good moods now we're coming out of the gloomy rainy weather. We've got quite a bit to get through for this update, so stick around and have a good read through. First and foremost I'd like to share some positive stats; our SA-MP server has been doing very well in the last few months which can also be seen in the time spent in-game and the average peaks we reach every day. Just for comparison, here's two graphs showing the total playtime and peaks evolving over the last ~3 months: Happy to see it! I'll say the vibes both in-game and within the community just feel much more healthy and positive than they did come end of last year. I've to say I'm happy with where the community is headed in general. Private Skins Last week we launched a long-requested and anticipated premium feature: Private Skins. You can now upload your own skin mod (.dff and .txd) to use on the SA-MP server. Everyone will see your skin in-game! To request a Private Skin, head over to the UCP > Premium Central > Private Skins. We implemented a strict approval process to make sure silly skins don't get in-game (you MAY see me in a Mr. Bean skin on admin duty, sorry immersion frogs). We will only approve skins that are appropriate and do not break any server rules. We also intend on this being an exclusive feature, since we don't want everyone on the server having to download hundreds of unused private skins when they log in. You can read the Private Skin Rules here. Illegal Faction Team Update We'd like to start be announcing the return of The Bellantonio Crime Family as an official faction once again. Some of you may be aware that Bellantonio have had their fair share of issues in the past, however they've worked tirelessly to produce high quality roleplay for the server ever since. Following several months of candidacy, we're happy to announce their return - Welcome back! 🦊🍷 Further to this, to shed some light on a recent post which had an effect on Official Factions in general. Stockpiling has become quite a serious issue which the Illegal Faction Council are taking steps to resolve. This month, Official Factions were subject to an In-Character event which has been implemented in collaboration with PD & SD leadership in order to provide roleplay for everyone involved rather than implementing these restrictions as an OOC measure. Moving forward, Official Factions (and scheme holders) will be subject to limited amounts of weapons through their warehouses and schemes. We understand almost everyone, including the general playerbase, has incredible stashes from pre-closure of SAMP however this has been compounded by the fact that warehouses are still available to Official Factions, leading to these stashes growing instead of depleting over recent months. Moving forward, warehouse access and logs will be under scrutiny from the Illegal Faction Council as we hope to achieve some reduction in stockpiling, and improve the flow of guns throughout the server. Following feedback from our Illegal Faction Team, we're also working on increasing the weapon price agreement. Right now, weapons are being bought at very low profit margins and sold on by the buyers for ludacris prices. The increase in the weapon agreement only applies to Official Faction & Scheme Holders to allow them to reap actual benefit from the sale of weapons. This is subject to review/change and will be closely monitored and enforced by the Illegal Faction Team & Council. This will be announced once the figures are finalised. Schemes: Illegal Faction Team have been working hard on a number of things throughout this month. In December-January, a number of schemes were put on the back-burner as adjustments were required before they could reopen. Drug Scheme, Strawman Scheme, Melee Scheme and Turf Requests have all been assigned a new 'Head of' each respective scheme. Drug Scheme and Strawman for both faction and solo roleplayers have opened this month, and accepted candidates have been selected and set up. We hope to regularly open these schemes moving forward to keep rewarding players for showcasing high quality roleplay, and activity on the server. We've also been working with @Rye and @Scumpy who oversee Scenario Scheme applications, and have introduced a new use for the scheme as a temporary measure in place of scripted drug manufacturing. Players who are approve in their application can now roleplay the manufacturing of crack cocaine and through the scheme, an admin will then reward them with crack in place of their cocaine. Our Scenario Schemes are extremely flexible, and we'll always do our best to try to support those who apply for it. If you have an idea you believe the Scenario Scheme can help with, please feel free to apply. For more information, please click here. Drug Decay: Drug decay is back by popular demand! We announced this approximately two weeks ago, and allowed for a two week grace period before the decay kicks in. As of 29 March 2025, decay is live - while IFC & the general community would've preferred for all stashes from prior to the server closing would be wiped/depleted significantly, this isn't something that the script can necessarily identify. Drug decay can be managed dynamically in-game, and we'll be closely monitoring the effects and strength of decay on drugs of all kinds throughout the server. For more information regarding decay and the drug system, click here. Illegal Faction Team: We've decided to reopen Illegal Faction Team applications this week. While we're still very focused on improving the illegal faction scene for our SAMP server. We've also been making alot of progress alongside our Development Team on RAGE/LSRP:V. @Dos Santos as previously mentioned in our last update is very much invested in RAGE and we'd like to appeal to anyone with an interest in supporting LSRP:V to reach out to any member of the Illegal Faction Council with an expression of interest. Interest in RAGE/LSRP:V is not necessary however, if you'd like to work with us on SAMP, please feel free to apply too as we're always looking for dedicated and active members to support our SAMP server. If you'd like to apply for Illegal Faction Team, please click here. Mapping Team Update Our Mapping Team have been hard at work for the last month or so bringing some updates to existing maps at request of factions in different parts of the map, we are currently in a testing phase and expect to see them in game very soon. Our mapping team is more active than ever, if you have anything you feel would bring a well needed update to the map then please don't hesitate to reach out to the Mapping Team Leader @Fiellavin. Below are some examples of the maps coming: Event Team Update March has been a successful month for our Event Team, we've held some large scale events, some of the ones that are memorable are the St Patricks Day Event and the most recent Flexing Loud Festival. We saw massive turn outs for both of these events and the other ones held within the community. These would not be possible without our Events Team, if you're interested in bringing new ideas forward then please reach out to @JustSid if you're interested to join, below are some images from the above events. Staff Update March has been a very good month for the community as a whole, consistently reach high numbers of players on our server. But with an increase number of players we received an even larger increase of work for that the staff team work on and plow through each and every month, before I move on and share promotions within the team I want to share some of the key stats: There were a total of 3418 reports handled There were a total of 3382 help requests handled There were a total of 17 refund requests handled There were a total of 63 forum reports handled There were a total of 305 character applications handled This is just a small insight to what our staff team have to deal with a monthly basis while also indulging in their own roleplay and positions they are in, whether it be faction, companies and more. I want to give them a massive shoutout and thank you. The number of applications coming through is great to see and I want to give a warm welcome to the new players in our community, I hope our team is welcoming and provides the best possible experience for you! Moving on, congratulations to our newly promoted staff members: Senior Admin Lemon Trainee Admin demigod — alooshy

I'd like to give a big shoutout to danut & Kane who worked hard on completing this update, and Cake for starting the work on several of the features included. Same shoutout goes to the modding & mapping team for delivering on the new skins, objects, and maps. The 14.0 update is quite a big one, so it took a while to complete and fully test. Hello everyone, 2024 is over and it marks yet another year spent together on LS-RP. This was quite a big year for us, as we reopened our SA-MP server and the community underwent several major changes. We officially relaunched our SA-MP server on LS-RP's 17th birthday, May 17th. Let's take a look at some interesting stats from these 7 and half months. In 2024, there were 8,217 new accounts created! Surprisingly, 87% of players who played on SA-MP last year were new accounts that never played on LS-RP before. 55,952 in-game reports and 74,898 helpmes accepted by our wonderful staff team. 2,489 refund requests and over 900 forum reports processed. 43,377 in-game kills (!), with the most dangerous area being to nobody's surprise Idlewood, which saw 15,099 tragic deaths. 514,842 total hours spent ingame by players. Over 40,000 AFK/Idle kicks. It sure was a busy year with its ups and downs, and I want to thank everyone who chose to spend their time playing, or contributing to our community. I value every one of you. Looking forward into 2025, we've laid out several goals internally that will help us achieve two main goals that we're focusing in 2025: Expand our SA-MP community and re-launch our RageMP server. Both are actively worked on as we speak and I can't wait to share more information with you when the time is right. One of our first goals for January 2025 is to finish our big 14.0 update. If you'd like to see snippets from this update, you can check out Discord's #snippets; some of them you've probably already seen but we'll post more as the update nears finishing. To help us with that, I'm happy to welcome two new developers on board: Lead Developer Kane & Developer n0de101 Another goal we set out for ourselves, which we've largely completed is stricter activity enforcement in our staff team. I'm aware that activity and motivation works from top to bottom, so we've tightened our activity/LOA policies to ensure we've stable and active Leadership, Heads Of, Development and Admin team. I'm happy to say that more and more staff members are taking it upon themselves to improve the server and come up with solutions on how we can achieve our goals for 2025, and I'm glad that we've a solid plan going forward. Speaking of which — a message from Jack, our current Head of Staff: You talked, we listened Over the course of the last month or two, we've had many channels for members of the community to openly give feedback in a constructive way, we've been listening and already implemented some of the things spoken about. We're also in the planning and preparation stages for further changes listed within those topics. We had a standardised way of dealing with rulebreakers, typically we went down the education over punishment route, which resulted in a warning, kick, ajail then eventually a ban. Somewhere down the line the communication within the team broken down, resulting in education and warnings for very blatant rule breaking. Over time some players abused this stance and ended up being warned again after again with no real punishment. Due to this happening we have cleared it up within the team, that if players exhibit blatant rule breaking, we don't need to follow the line of education but to take direct action. Since the re-opening of SA-MP we introduced a Conflict of Interest rule, this prevented admins dealing with situations they are directly involved. In theory this change was great, as it meant little to no bias once a handling administrator could accept reports. In time the implementation of this rule ended in report times taking longer and sometimes no action being taken right away, if someone was to log or too much time had passed. Based on feedback from within staff and members of the community this rule was removed and we implore admins to use common sense and the knowledge they gain going through our Trainee Admin scheme. Transparency has been one of the most sought after comment since before I even joined the Staff team back in 2020. Over the past 5 years we've improved on this by ten fold, we continue to do this as the weeks go by. We're taking a new approach to transparency, including talking about staff policies which has never been done. If and when there is information to be shared to the community you can bet on knowing about it, sometimes its better to hold of on being transparent when some underlying details are missing or have not been fully completed. I hope the new approach we are taking is one for the betterment of our Staff and Community relationship. You may of seen we've inducted more modders and mappers within the team who are active and engaging with what the server needs, new maps and new mods. For some time now we've been stagnant in this area and it's affected many areas of the server. But we've now put the channels in place to allow factions, companies and such to have direct access to request maps to be made, implemented and the same with mods, it's never been easier than now. The above is a small insight to what is happening within staff. We've been through the many various posts and now have a solid list and foundation to work off and take inspiration to work towards a better community and experience for players as a whole. Illegal Faction Team Council Update from Klag & badhbh We'd like to start by introducing Serbian Transnational Criminal Organisation (STCO), who've been successful in reaching official faction status. 'Serbian Transnational Criminal Organisation is a Los Santos and San Fierro based criminal organization with its main roots coming from a now defunct criminal organization from Serbia. It's a continuation of many generations of Serbian American organized crime, with their involvements being weapon and drug trafficking, smuggling contraband and international fraud. STCO's reach is currently widespread over the city, with them being involved in both the political scene with the mayor's office as the financial sector with their many businesses primarily focused on providing alcohol and entertainment. Their influences in the streets reach multiple areas within Los Santos, primarily East Los Santos and Mulholland, with some parts in Vinewood and a few areas in San Fierro. Its founding members were part of previous generations of Serbian American organized crime having revived the old tradition reaching back over ten-plus years. From Pančevačka Grupa, to Srpska Mreža, to eventually continuing the legacy of the old Serbian Transnational Criminal Organization.' At the moment, the Illegal Faction Team are currently working on a restructure of one of our most popular schemes, the Strawman Scheme along with conducting a review of the drug-flow on the server. As of late, the Illegal Faction Team has undergone some significant changes not only in terms of leadership, but also the members of Illegal Faction Team itself. We're eager to support the server, and it's factions and would love to hear your feedback and concerns. As always, if you're interested in joining the Illegal Faction Team (Public), please reach out to a member of the Illegal Faction Team or private message, @Scumpy. Commerce and Estate Update by Izumi There is current changes taking place in Commerce and Estate and that is property changes such as Interior changes are not longer required to be posted on the forums and can now be /report'ed in-game where both the Commerce and Estate team and Senior Admin+ team can quickly get your property request done without the need to post on the forums. This should hopefully help people instead of having to wait for someone to check the forums for interior changes. Additionally, backdoor access can be reported in-game and finally, PTPs for both businesses and properties can be requested in-game instead of through the forums. You will still have to charity the amount for the warehouse, backdoor access and PTPs, however, this should hopefully help players without the need of posting on the forums. You can also still post on the forums if you cannot be in-game at the same time as commerce and estate staff. Lastly, with this update, we're rolling out the scheme which was posted in December for companies to be reimbursed a set amount of money for their employees to help cover the staffing cost for the roleplay they provide whilst under the company. You can find more information about it here; Note: Please keep in mind the Employee Reimbursement Scheme is in a trial run and the rates are subject to change based on the market behavior. Staff Updates by Jack Now, onto the Staff Update. Congratulations to our newly promoted staff members ... Senior Admin celestine Game Admin Kaibr — n0de101 Trainee Admin consistency — barney Senior Tester andr3y — Klag — Kunis — costinl — shmoney Welcome back to our recently returned staff members ... Senior Admin DDaniels Game Admin Duco And congratulations to the new mapping team leader! Thank you to everyone who bothered to provide meaningful feedback. We'll address it throughout upcoming posts. Several staff members, besides the leadership, has taken actions to improve on some of it already. In the meantime, you don't need to start another thread for general feedback and we won't allow any more of them for the time being because it unfortunately always derails into staff and player bashing. If you have any more constructive feedback to provide, please PM me directly.

That's because you're a Loser, not a Winner, Kane.

All winners should have received an email by now; so check it & get back to me. If you won a gift card but didn't receive an email, please PM me here on forums.

Cleaned the thread up in reference to my previous post here; no, complaining that you're banned because you used cheats really isn't contributing.
-
I'm happy to actually see constructive and actionable feedback on this thread. This is also not a place to squash your personal beefs, so we'll moderate this thread more if it's not pertinent to a bigger picture discussion or if it's flat out inflammatory.

The only people who have put any measurable amount of effort towards Rage ever since SA-MP's launch was a small task force which consisted of staff members (mostly 3, really), who weren't interested in SA-MP at all and would've left otherwise. Literally all focus of the leadership team, staff team, and development team with the exception of danut was and to be quite frank, still is on SA-MP. What you're saying about focus is simply not factual and it's hard to take at face value as there's plenty of channels to verify this - see blog post, discord's #snippets, discord's #updates, discord's #git and so on. What does this mean exactly? You're responding to a message asking for less vague examples with more vague filibuster. Within very recent history, we started letting Testers into virtually any teams and leadership positions. You've tester/s in FTC. We promoted people from tester straight to Lead when we saw potential and people taking charge. We expedited people from lower staff ranks to Lead in record time when we saw potential. The component you're missing is that in an overwhelming majority of the cases, after a person assumes position where they can make a difference after loudly and proudly proclaiming they'll be able to, they become inactive almost immediately. After achieving what people are after and being faced with gratification and validation, any and all efforts tend to go out the window. This brings a genuine attempt of trying to delegate work into a full cycle of finding a replacement after a replacement. God bless the exceptions, because we've had, or have some really hard working folks with us - but those get overwhelmed by the lack of people to support them so they face the good old burnout instead. What are you left with? On another hand, the moment you refuse to give someone what they're after, be it rank, position assignment, official status, or whatever, you're going to be met with a hellfire of how you're incompetent and refusing to give people chances they deserve. Maybe not everyone is fit for everything they dream up. This has been a theme I witnessed over the years of the community turning from driven to entitled. I do not necessarily disagree with any of the other points you've made, but I'd like to turn these two around. I've seen this community go through a lot of different stages and faces over the last nearly 13 years I've been a part of it. The reason why I took charge when Mow left the community to die and disappeared forever into Norwegian fjords in 2018, why I spent thousands and thousands of hours working on it, basically put my personal life on hold for months at a time, was for the way the players made you feel when you put in effort. There's nothing I loved more than working on a feature for days or weeks at a time, only to witness players use it ingame and genuinely appreciate it. This filled me with purpose, and eventually made me choose a career in software development. At that time, LS-RP was also much easier to run. It practically ran itself and as long as you put basic effort into it and kept the wheels greased, it was smooth sailing with the occasional hiccup. The community always came together when needed and moved onwards and upwards. None of this is the case anymore. It is no longer enough to grease the wheels and keep inertia to make the server succeed, it requires much more hard work and determination to push forward, innovate, take charge and keep us level with competition. This proves to be a challenge when the community is filled with toxicity and vultures that will eat you alive at any sign of a misstep. Honestly I don't even blame leadership (I use this term to encompass both Leads and Heads of) for not sticking around and active for long enough with the shit they've to deal with on every day basis. What once used to be a supportive community has over the years evolved into a shell of its former self with unchecked toxicity in every thread and channel you open, with unforgiving members who expect flawless and cater to their exact vision without any consideration for the bigger picture. So once again - who's gonna push hard, innovate and dedicate countless hours of free time if there's seemingly no way to be good enough, and the goalpost is always moving? There's a reason why more and more people give up after being given access to do what they want to do - and it may be a hard pill to swallow but it's the community. It takes two to tango and there's two sides to every coin. I may be biased but I don't think it's leadership or development or whatever else scapegoat that will save this community. This community needs to save itself. By driving yourselves (ourselves?) further apart from each-other, it doesn't really matter what effort anyone puts in. Players don't join the server because Mmartin or any other single person. They don't join for the script, or who's leading what. They don't decide to join and stick around for any of that. They stick around for you. I appreciate that my frustration is showing through. I also appreciate you might see this as a "No, it's the kids who are wrong!" moment. Maybe it is, and while you may not agree with me, that's honest to God what my experience is.

Since Iudex chose not to contest the allegations in 2 days he's been banned. We figured it'd be fair to at least give them an opportunity to respond before actioning the removal, despite there being a clear consensus within the team that they were cheating.

Hello everyone, Welcome to the December Community Update. We're entering the last month of a year that has overall been a very good one for LS-RP. The return of SA-MP gave our community a much needed breath of fresh air, and it allowed us some time to step back and reflect on what we really want to do next. It's not quite the time to look back yet so I'll save all of that for the End Of Year update, but this year we decided to make it easier than ever to look back — we'll be doing a "Your year on LS-RP" (think Spotify Wrapped, etc) so that's something to look forward to. Keeping up with the End Of Year theme and the spirit of holidays, I want to encourage everyone to start decorating their houses with outside furniture for the season. If you're unable to do this for whatever reason worry not, we'll be allowing for holiday decoration submissions soon, available for personal properties, businesses, factions and companies. Keep your eyes peeled! LS-RP Christmas Giveaway '24 And finally, to celebrate this years' holidays and give back to the community, we're holding a prize giveaway for all of our players. The prize pool consists of Gift Cards in total value of 800 EUR! On December 25th, we'll be giving out: Prize #1: 5 Gift Cards of 50 EUR each Prize #2: 10 Gift Cards of 25 EUR each Prize #3: 15 LS-RP Premium Credit packages of 2500 Credits each Upon winning, you can choose any widely available Gift Card of your liking (Steam, Amazon, etc). As long as we can purchase it directly, you can have it! To read more about the giveaway, how to enter, and its rules, please visit: LS-RP Christmas Giveaway 2024 - Los Santos Roleplay. Faction Updates Faction Team Public We've recently revamped FTP to improve its functionality for the greater FT. The FTP is a great avenue to get in touch with the FT and voice your opinions, whether you're a seasoned veteran or a player just getting the ropes of things. It is a team designed for people to voice their concerns and partake in discussions without the stringent experience requirements of FT. If you're interested in joining the faction team and seriously impact the server's infrastructure, FTP is a great way to prove yourself. We're actively on the lookout of members that possess a sound acumen when it comes to the illegal mechanism, and FTP is somewhere you can demonstrate it in the best possible way. Please reach out to @Scumpy for all queries related to FTP. Barons Motorcycle Club I'd like to announce and congratulate Barons Motorcycle Club on reaching official status! Barons Motorcycle Club is an outlaw organized motorcycle club primarily based within Flint County, San Andreas. The establishment of the club was primarily based on a late succession from the defunct White Knights Motorcycle Club, which involved core past members of said club alongside newer faces to reunite under a new banner yet following their same outlaw ideology. Over an extensive period after first settling on the Flint-Whetstone highway, Barons had rapidly expanded its presence within the Flint County and Whetstone regions whilst primarily associating with other organizations and motorcycle clubs alike within the Los Santos city limits. - Spectre, Faction Team Council Faction Team Council I'd also like to congratulate @Klag for advancing into the Faction Team Council! He's now joining Spectre and badhbh in the council to help facilitate a fair and supportive ecosystem for the illegal factions on the server. I have personally taken an interest in illegal factions recently and will be working with the council closely to address some of the concerns that have been raised by the faction team, and illegal faction players recently. As always, communication is key, so if you've anything to bring up to the council or me directly, please create a ticket in the Factions Discord, and if necessary, escalate to me directly. As an example, we'll be trying to provide a more robust pipeline for factions to add custom maps into the server; even if they can't procure the maps themselves. We're adding 4 new mappers today to help us with that! Staff Updates & More Now, onto the Staff Update. Congratulations to our newly promoted staff members ... Senior Admin jungsaeo Trainee Admin n0de101 Senior Tester consistency And congratulations to the new mappers! Mapper peculata - Ricta - ganchew - Leg4nd114 As you may remember, a few updates ago we introduced a new role to the staff team; the Head of Player Experience. This role is supposed to bridge the gap between the player base and the staff teams, mainly the development team. This will help us understand the needs of the community better and translate that into a list of priorities for the teams to work on. Having an individual responsible for this is crucial so that nothing falls through the cracks. The position solidified and integrated more recently, and given its importance and wide reach across the staff team, we made this a lead position. There are two HOPE positions, one for SA-MP and one for our RageMP server (more on that later). So congratulations to our two new leads: Lead Admin ROZE Head of Player Experience (SA-MP) Lead Admin Helius Head of Player Experience (RageMP) I honestly can't find more fitting candidates for both of those roles, so I'm really excited about this setup. Also shoutout to risen, who was promoted to a Lead Admin just days after last month's announcement: Lead Admin risen Head of Testers Now you might be asking - RageMP? Is this still a thing? Yes. We've (when I say we, mostly a taskforce consisting of Helius, danut, and Conor) gone and looked back at our stint with RageMP last year and tried to learn from our mistakes why the server didn't work out as we might've hoped it would. We've learned a lot from the community and staff feedback, and are working on a plan to bring the server back to thrive. This takes some time as it involves quite a lot of further development, economy overhaul, factions overhaul, marketing and more. We aren't quite ready to share more details just yet, but we've several developers whose main interest is the RageMP platform and when I say they're cooking, they're cooking. Big ups for the group for not giving up on the project and bringing my morale back into it. Anyway more on that later, as I said, lots of work to do still and I don't want to get everyone excited too early. Considering danut's endless efforts with the project and continuous work on the gamemode ever since joining the team, I'm excited to announce he'll be taking a role of a Lead Developer on RageMP! I've no doubt that with his and Helius' effort as the HOPE for the project, we'll be able to see it really succeed. Lead Developer danut Lead Developer (RageMP) In the SA-MP department, we're working on the next juicy update to bring you. Make sure to cast your vote at the Feature Voting on the UCP as we use it to influence priorities. There's a lot of big things on the list, so they take time to implement, but every vote matters. Currently the two big things we're working on is the Thief/House Burglary revamp (see #snippets on Discord!) and Premium/Custom Skins feature to let players add their own skin to the game. Note from ROZE re. marketing: We have noticed that new players are being retained on the server pretty well now, we've had a lot of new people join and stick around, often logging hundreds of hours. As we're now in a comfortable position to retain new players we will be taking a more in-depth look at marketing. We recently spoke to several new players to gain feedback about how they found LS-RP, and we have also reached out to some content creators in order to get feedback on how we can better work with them to create a system where we can get a constant stream of publicity and 2-way support. On top of this, we are also looking at the possibilities of being put back onto the server browser. That's it from me for today! I hope you all are able to enjoy the holiday season (or suffer through it, at least, shoutout to fellow season depressos iykyk). We've a few things prepared to make the season on LS-RP festive, so join us and let's enjoy the game together. - Martin

Well as you can tell you haven't been banned, to leave you space to send the "evidence" you have to me directly via forum messages. I'll trust that you do that so it can be actually reviewed and I'll happily be proven wrong and that it's not just waffle like other parts of your post. Take advantage of this if your intentions are actually to bring justice and clear your name, instead of further fueling a flamewar on forums. That being said, let's refrain from discussing this here any further as not to derail the OP, which was made with the opposite intention as your topic was - to actually improve the server. I recommend people to take a page out of Busato's book on how to be critical yet constructive, without bending the truth and inciting flame.
-
Send them to me directly then? Send them to me directly then? I don't get around to responding to all PM's, that's correct. Every staff report is processed and can be audited, if you submitted a staff report or anything with solid evidence, I'm 100% confident they'd act on it. If you have something so-so damning, why not send it to me directly? We could acknowledge the truth if you actually send the "truth", any evidence to either of the people you've namedropped instead of going scorched earth because you've been removed (twice now) from the team due to misconduct after several warnings. If this was your true intention - you'd send the evidence already to me, or someone else in leadership. You never did that, instead you decided to spread misinformation and lies on forums. If there was anything truthful in your post, you drown it out by the fluffer that's provably untrue. If you have anything solid, send it to me directly. You're right, it's a gaming community. Continuous toxic behavior has no place in it. That's why you were removed from the staff team. You're no longer welcome in the community, and you can continue to blame the deep conspiracy for that, or just send whatever the evidence you have to me directly, so it can be processed like all staff reports are processed. A process which involves multiple people overlooking it with very, very little room for any bias. You self-admitted to harboring staff abuse and cheaters - and still didn't send any of the evidence for that, and threatened to leak staff chats. I'm not sure what you expected the result will be if you choose to go out this way on a lie-fueled smearing campaign instead of following appropriate channels. I get really riled up about any form of staff abuse, and we have very strict policies regarding that. So if any such report goes through our hands we punish it harshly, because I (and leads too) take these personally. Bye, now we can get this thread back on topic.
-
If someone resorts to false claims, leaking and threats when confronted, that discussion won't yield anything productive that'd actually improve anything on the server. I don't see what the community stands to gain in following that thread of thought. To give you some perspective, this is the person you're defending: If you have proof of this - why not report it? Why not come forward before you've been removed? Why use it as "blackmail"? Why harbor cheaters? Once again - why would a person with good intentions withhold information if they have it? Imagine throwing a tantrum because there's "dirty staff" if you have "proof" but you didn't share this until you were removed for misconduct yourself? How are we supposed to act on shit we don't get reports for? Come on. It's a big shame because there's some valid concerns buried in the "forbidden post" (available on last page), but if you cover them with a truckload of horseshit, do you really expect me to go pick it up? In any regard, if there's actual evidence forwarded our way that exposes any staff misconduct, it'll be handled. We've removed staff for cheats or misconduct previously, we don't stand anything to gain by not doing so.

I keep hearing this being regurgitated time and time again, but I fail to see why you'd think that. If you look at #git on Discord, you'll see that since relaunching SA-MP, overwhelming vast majority of development focus goes towards SA-MP. There's been very limited focus on RageMP since SA-MP's relaunch in all aspects - dev, lead, staff. You should know this and anyone who's actually involved with RageMP will be able to corroborate this. Please provide concrete examples how SA-MP is not the #1 priority right now and since its relaunch. Once again this is outright untrue. Illegal parts of the server are a long-term priority in both dev and other aspects. Once again, you should know this. The drug cutting script that was added wasn't half assed, it was an iterative update that was consulted with FTC at the time and was exactly as asked for. Once again, you should know this. Also not all agents are bought from 24/7, some can only be obtained via faction drug stores. ... Yes, you should know this too. Regarding the alien-themed event, since this is still a talking point, was an effort to have a light-hearted event to involve the general population of the server. We recognized this as an oversight after concerns were raised by the FTC and we ended the event prematurely because of this. We've also since then reached out to the FTC before each event to consult, and have been inquiring for what types of events they'd like to see instead. You conveniently left out this part. This is the mindset we approached it with and is why, like I already mentioned, vast majority of focus, if not the only focus majority of the time, was and still is on SA-MP. I fail to understand how you can't know this, having been involved in FTC. It almost looks like you cherry pick your arguments to skew the truth. What we also understand when we relaunched SA-MP is that the initial boom after relaunch is temporary. Everyone knew we won't maintain 500 forever, and this is fine. It's a natural curve to expect with the relaunch. That didn't stop us from keeping SA-MP as the primary focus, although strategically it might've not made the most sense long-term, but as I said previously we're here for the community and if that's where the community is, that's what we'll focus on. I won't address your claims that leads, or management doesn't care, or accusations of such nature; instead please go to the main page of the forums and look at the update history, or once again go to #git on Discord and see development activity. We've had active development with a constant stream of updates every month ever since the server relaunched.

You don't have to bother. Your original post is in the previous replies; and considering you've a nefarious agenda of spreading lies and toxicity in the community, I'll skip the hassle for all of us. We're always open to critical discussion, but since you've chosen the path of spreading misleading information, lying and leaking, it crosses the line where there isn't much discussion to be had with you. Anyone else who has actual, constructive feedback or wishes to engage in discussion that will benefit the community, the door's (like always) open in my, and other leads' DMs. Keep in mind that bashing and leaks won't be allowed or left posted openly.

I'd like to clear a few things up regarding this; part of this response was written by badhbh on behalf of the IFTC and Jack on behalf of the staff team. Re. Factions concerns: As Illegal Faction Council, we feel it's important to address a number of the statements made by trksthtmn in his post in the interest of clarity and transparency. Regarding the comments made about trksthtmn's concerns regarding current official factions; IFC as a whole are disappointed that trksthtmn would present the information he has gathered or believes he has gathered during his time as IFT in the manner he has. The Illegal Faction Council is aware of certain official factions not particularly upholding the standards we would expect from an official faction. We are currently steps to mitigate this, not only is there a full review being carried out by Illegal Faction Council but we're also going to be taking steps within the next month to issue warnings against all of the current Official factions regarding quality and activity and if no change or improvement is seen, these factions will be descripted by the end of November. Trksthtmn is part of the Illegal Faction Team and as such, has never been privy to the conversations or efforts going into reviewing these factions behind the scenes/within the Illegal Faction Council itself. Perhaps we're not working as quickly as he would personally like, however we each work full-time jobs, we're people just like the rest of you with lives outside of this community. The issues with these factions are often quite complex. If we were to go in and descript each official faction based on the personal opinion of one IFT member, where's the community in that? Since the relaunch of the server we've been incredibly careful with our decisions, let's not forget that we have already descripted official factions since relaunch due to quality concerns - but IFC believe we must provide these players with the opportunity to improve their standards/activity etc. This was presented in a negative light, however while you personally may believe a faction is undeserving of their official spot, these players have put months and months of work and development into their faction. It'd be a shame to disregard their efforts without giving them a chance to prove to IFC and the community that they are worthy of their spot on the server. There are more updates, and actions to be taken regarding these official factions who we feel are not contributing to the server in the way they should, as a community you will see these actions being carried out but we have never, and will never be announcing the reviews or behind the scenes activities of IFC. Toxicity is rampant, and as IFC we feel a certain level of decorum is needed from us to prevent things from getting out of hand. As many of you have read, there were a number of comments made about Spectre and his position within IFC. Shockingly, IFC are each allowed to hold their own personal opinions and voice them during discussions held on the Illegal Faction Team discord, forum boards and in PM's. Illegal Faction Council is made up of three people, who work closely with management to maintain the illegal faction scene. We have differences of opinions, and we're entitled to those. One of the points raised was that Spectre had stated none of the candidates were currently suitable for official. This opinion is not shared by IFC as a whole, and will not prevent us from reviewing the candidates as has been planned for weeks, once the current efforts to improve current faction standards and activity have been completed. Again, it's unfortunate that trksthtmn has not been included in these conversations as perhaps he wouldn't have presented the information as factual rather than the personal opinion of one community member. "Cashew was working on a script update for companies not long ago, which would have enhanced the company script and also added a company chat (similar to faction chat)." The way this information has been provided suggests we've disputed a number of features or large update to the company script as Illegal Faction Council. The update was one feature, company chat similar to /f. IFC as a whole were concerned that companies having immediate access to an OOC chat would result in demotivation for factions to strive for official as many of them run companies. I don't know how many of you have ever been in a faction that has been granted official, but the excitement of gaining your scripted faction and setting up /f has always been unique to official factions. It improves OOC interactions between your faction members, and while some may feel it's insignificant, it's a big part of the rewards an official faction receives. We did push against it, which resulted in those involved from the development side stating that they simply won't implement the update at all - despite us requesting that the company chat feature be used as a reward for longevity and high quality roleplay, just as /f is to the illegal faction scene. This was not our decision, nor our request. This was a decision taken by the developers/company team themselves to no longer implement it. "Spectre also argued against creating a council amongst the already established property & commerce team, which would have overseen the handling and distribution of businesses, houses, complexes and auctions." There's not alot that can be said about this, because it's simply untrue. There's been an established council for the Commerce & Estate team, which is overseen by Assistant Head of Operations/Head of Operations since the server relaunched - at a time that Spectre wasn't even part of Illegal Faction Council. The existence of this council has never been disputed by IFC. "I was informed that a member of Galleani (Spectre's faction), who holds significant responsibility as an upper-echelon (captain) was attempting to sell guns for OOC money via Discord to other players. ...my gut feeling was proven to be correct when no action was taken and instead Tadija was informed and went straight to dissing the person who told me." Illegal Faction Council take claims of OOC asset sales extremely seriously. Some of you will be aware of this, as some of you recently have been approached regarding the same topic. The issue was originally brought to Badhbh, who immediately reviewed the logs of the member in question. Not only did they not have any weapons on their character, they had logged in for less than 10 minutes throughout October. This was immediately informed to trksthtmn that no rules had been broken, but to bring it to Spectres attention so he can manage his faction as faction leadership. Spectre approached the member as both server admin, and faction leader to get to the bottom of these claims. As this member had only spoken to a select few in this way, it was quite easy for him to determine who reported their conversation. The accused member has made matters slightly more dramatic by claiming he has been banned for OOC sales, again untrue. As both admins, and IFC, we're unsure of what actions were expected to be taken against someone who has not broken server rules. Perhaps they were caught before getting the chance, but this doesn't change the fact that nothing punishable has been done. IFC are not going to speak on the current condition of Galleani (Spectre's faction) which was a large portion of trksthtmn's post. However, as stated in the beginning they along with all official factions will be subject to an activity and quality review throughout the month of November. Illegal Faction Council are by no means held to standards seperate to the rest of the official factions. We hope that this has addressed the concerns laid out in trksthtmn's post appropriately, and as always we're here to discuss concerns and queries. The best way to reach us is through our ticket system on the Illegal Faction Discord, or via. forum PM. Re. Staff points: We have a well-established system for monitoring staff activity, which is evaluated based on various metrics each month. All staff members have the same baseline responsibilities that everyone must fulfil monthly. Additionally, staff members who hold specialized roles, such as those in the Illegal Faction Council, Commerce & Real Estate, and other teams within the community, have their own set of responsibilities associated with these secondary positions. Leadership understands that not everyone can consistently meet every quota each month. We allow flexibility for those who demonstrate ongoing effort, even if they occasionally fall short of certain quotas. However, staff members who show no commitment or improvement will be relieved of their positions. without question. The RageMP server has always been an important strategic part of the community's future, and we’ve never shied away from it. We recognize that, in its current state, the server has "flopped" and isn’t receiving the traction we’d hoped for. We are actively working to "re-think" the RageMP server. We’ve been addressing all the pain points identified since our initial launch on June 16, 2023. It will take some time to resolve these issues, but before long, everyone will see the progress we’ve been making. I would refer you back to a blog post we made regarding the future of LS-RP, this still stands strong to this day: It's paradoxical in a way, as the RageMP server has received far far less attention than we'd like to, as it's been pretty much all hands on deck for SA-MP this year. This late point circles around. The main points of it have been addressed above. There is a lot of moving parts going on and nothing is final when it comes to RageMP, everything said in the above quote regarding splitting the teams in two is merely a suggestion on how we can move forward and ensure both sides of the community (SA-MP and RageMP) have all the resources they need to flourish. The point on marketing I will ask you go back up and read the points we've already made on that front. Misc points: The reason we aren't doing frequent email blasts has nothing to do with "budgeting" but rather marketing consent which is legally required for us to have to send our marketing emails. This is a legal requirement in the EU. Raymond was told this and this has been mentioned in the staff chat multiple times too. In-fact, everyone involved in marketing, whether current SA-MP (ROZE), past (Sal, others) or future (Helius, Conor, ...) have been told we can allocate a significant amount of LS-RP's revenue towards marketing, because we recognize its importance. We're currently also running ads, for example on Meta platforms. We've since decided to implement a marketing prompt on the UCP, this is something that's work in progress, but it won't let us acquire consent from players who aren't logging ingame/onto the UCP, so in the end it won't resolve the issue of cold-contact. As you can probably tell, the reason why the initial post was removed is because it contained several at best misleading, and at worst outright knowingly incorrect statements. It's a shame because we continue to work towards a healthier relationship between leadership and the community (and staff), and whenever this was brought up with staff members who were members of the staff many years ago, they all share the sentiment that the openness and approachability of leads is much better than it used to be. I'd like to encourage everyone to make informed opinions and take posts by disgruntled ex-staff members who've been removed for misconduct (after being given a 2nd chance) with a grain of salt.
