Black Organized Crime in modern day Los Angeles is decentralized - heavily rooted in prison networks, streetgangs, and out of state DTO's using the city as their stomping grounds. Our faction hosts a wide variety of characters to accurately reflect this. I joined a faction called Valenti in 2010 when I was a teenager. Everyone called them elitists, thought they were overrated and that they will die off at some point. What I found was a tight knight group of people who formed true friendships and managed to stick together for an unthinkable period of time. Through server closures, reopenings, faction being forcibly shut down by the administration at that time, you name it. Nothing ever truly brought this group down. I left for over 10 years and moved on with life. Last year when LSRP reopened I decided to give it one last go for as long as this lasts. I found the same friends I had over 10 years ago and it felt and still feels like not a single day has gone by since I had left. Nothing will ever kill this group.

Roleplay Summary — It's late at night and Melanie planned to smoke before bed, but the munchies took over and delayed her from going to sleep. Luckily a local spot called La Taqueria is still open for a little while. She quickly gets dressed and steps out, choosing not to take the main road since there are rumors about 38ST getting into it with a rival gang. She would rather not walk into anything by accident, even though she isn’t involved. Gangway / Local Food / Abuela’s Protection. Murals / The Daughters of Aztlán. Next Day / Leño Smoking. Our faction's main objective is to depict an authentic one-percenter motorcycle club, with a strong focus on individual character growth and fostering rich, immersive lore. We expect our members to maintain a high standard of roleplay and to familiarize themselves with the one-percenter culture before joining. If reliable resources are difficult to find, we’re more than happy to assist with character creation and provide materials to help players accurately portray a motorcycle club member. We recognize that real-life responsibilities such as work and family always take precedence over roleplay. While some may not fully grasp this, rest assured that joining our faction does not require you to be active every night of the week. Once you enter the prospecting phase, we reserve the right to issue a character kill if there is valid justification. However, this is always considered a last resort rather than a first option. Roleplay Summary — It was early in the morning, and Gabriel’s first thought was about the party that night. He went through his morning routine quickly, then jumped in his car to grab beer and food for the event. Once the party started, a lot of people showed up out of respect. Everything was going smooth until a rival gang pulled up — but everyone reacted fast and took care of the situation before it got out of hand.

Server around peak hours the other day had 30 people on, most of them who are just idling to collect paychecks, and you’re dick riding our activity because our members actually have shit to deal with in the real world and get on when they can. Fuck outta here.

Valenti is not going anywhere, at least not for the time being. Lack of motivation and real life duties which are time consuming hit everyone from time to time and it's reasonable to think that way, but you don't have to worry cause we'll bounce back eventually. Even if it takes us some time.

It's not dead, people just lose motivation from time to time. Most of the LSRP playerbase is well above 18 years and those people have jobs and families to take care of which naturally is time consuming itself. Then again, there's also issues with staff team and their ignorance which negatively impacted playerbase in the past as well. Now, don't get me wrong cause I ain't pointing fingers - there's still people in staff team who care about the server enough to keep it going, but it's clear as day that there's still no will to correct certain mistakes from the past. Anyways, I've written a lot here but it all comes to this: LSRP is not dead, nor will it be any time soon. However if it wants to survive people who are running things behind the scenes should wake up. Keeping a constant playerbase as high as 190+ players per night is not easy, but until just a couple of months ago it was still at that number. Staff's not to blame entirely, LSRP will keep going as long as we all together keep it going. Enjoy it while it lasts and stop whining, it doesn't help - go IG and create some RP.
