Welcome to the monthly Faction Newsletter. This is your monthly update on the latest developments within the faction scene. This newsletter is designed to provide transparency by sharing high-level insights from internal discussions, spotlighting a featured faction each month, and highlighting any groups reaching candidate or official status. Faction of the Month This month's Faction Spotlight is 59th & Harlow Bloods, a group that has demonstrated outstanding growth, creativity, and consistent impact across the illegal RP scene. From the outset, they’ve showcased a unique, story-driven approach to character development while maintaining strong standards of roleplay quality and OOC professionalism. The Illegal Faction Council would like to highlight Harlow's activity as a whole, they've shown an intense activity as of late and can be found at almost any time populating the streets of Idlewood. As always, we encourage anyone interested in getting involved with 59th & Harlow Bloods to reach out to their faction leader; @Robby-T The Harlow thread stands out as one of the few that captures both the day-to-day roleplay and a cohesive, evolving storyline. Their ability to balance grounded, passive roleplay with engaging schemes and rackets makes their faction feel more dynamic. If your faction would like to be considered for the next spotlight, continue pushing your creativity and standing out in meaningful ways. Key areas that can set your faction apart include strong character portrayal, showcasing unique media or roleplay, and maintaining a clean administrative record by following server rules. Keep in mind that receiving a Faction Spotlight also makes your faction eligible for perks and you can speak directly with the IFC to explore how they can support you in continuing your faction’s progression. Furnishing Competition Award Last month, we launched a furnishing competition to highlight creativity within the community, and we’re excited to announce the winners: 🥇 @Edrian 🥈 @husoparac11 🥉 @fruit IFC will be reaching out to each winner regarding their rewards and next steps. The Illegal Faction Team/Council have thoroughly enjoyed watching the progress, and voting for a winner - the unique designs and effort that went into each submission has been remarkable. So much so that in the Illegal Faction Team meeting, it was agreed that each submission will receive 300 credits as a token of appreciation for their participation. Internal Updates We’d also like to congratulate Black Organized Crime for being selected as an official faction candidate. The minute Black Organized Crime opened, we were receiving feedback regarding the quality of screenshots present on their thread. BOC not only show-case a high standard of roleplay, their screenshots are some of the most cinematic so far. We look forward to seeing their continued development and impact on the server. Their consistency, creativity, and strong presence make them a standout group with tremendous potential moving forward. IFT is currently open for recruitment, and we’re looking for active, dedicated, and experienced members to join the team. It is an ideal time to bring in individuals who want to contribute more to the illegal roleplay scene. As a member of the Illegal Faction Team, you’d be involved in voting on weapon, drug, and solo scheme applications, reviewing turf map submissions, handling faction reports, and providing meaningful feedback on server rules and upcoming development projects aimed at improving illegal roleplay. More custom models are being added to the server for community use. Some items are currently delayed due to branded assets requiring adjustment, but we are actively working through these issues. As this progresses, we’ll continue rolling out additional custom mods and models to support a wider variety of roleplay opportunities. Changes to Official Faction Perks Official factions are expected to remain active and serve as leaders in providing roleplay to the community. If a faction is not consistently engaging in meaningful roleplay or contributing to the server’s environment, their official status may be revoked. IFC has begun a focused initiative to review overall faction activity and will issue strikes or take further action where necessary to maintain quality and accountability across the board. The warehouse supply has been reduced, and factions may have the opportunity to re-up based on community feedback and demonstrated need. Additionally, we’ve implemented a 50% reduction in firearms distributed to official factions. This decision was made for several reasons, most notably the amount of stockpiling occurring across the server including by players not actively roleplaying within factions. A significant portion of guns originating from official warehouses ended up in the hands of individuals using them for the wrong reasons. For context: Before the reduction, up to 2,600 guns per month could enter the economy. After the cut and warehouse adjustments, that number is now closer to 1,500. These changes aim to create a healthier, more balanced weapon economy and promote more meaningful, character-driven roleplay around supply, distribution, and conflict. If adjustments are needed over time, we’ll revisit based on faction engagement and feedback. Rage Updates Behind the scenes, there is still extensive development underway for the RAGE Multiplayer relaunch, with both developers and administrators working on backend to ensure a smooth reopening. While concerns around GTA: V continue to surface, we want to reassure everyone that the SA-MP community remains the primary focus of the Illegal Faction Team. Progress on V is ongoing in the background, and as soon as there are meaningful updates, the IFT will be notified. In the coming weeks, we expect to have more information to share and will keep the community updated accordingly. Ongoing Discussions and Upcoming Focus Areas We’d like to take a moment to share a brief overview of several internal discussions currently underway within the Illegal Faction Team. These highlights reflect key topics from our recent monthly meetings and areas we’re actively reviewing and improving. Meeting Notes Recent faction status updates were reviewed, including new candidacy movements and posted threads. Development and mod-related updates were discussed, including minor delays and ongoing backend work to improve illegal roleplay features. Adjustments to faction systems such as warehouse supply and activity monitoring were outlined, along with clarifications on platform focus and upcoming initiatives tied to monthly spotlights.

I joined this server pretty late, last November. Played very actively, until March, took a long break, just returned like September or so. Before I took a break, everyone was saying the server's dying blablabla, but I came back months later and it's still active, I still found the same people RPing the same thing as when I took the break. What I found is that here, even with small playerbase, there's more RP than on a large server with hundreds of players. Can we just not say SAMP is dead?! I've seen SAMP servers currently with 700+ players. Whining is not going to solve anything. Before I tried GTA:V RP, I thought SAMP was cooked, too, but after going on a heavy text RP server there, I realized it's not the case. V offers a different kind of RP than SAMP. The two can coexist with each other. Statistically, it's more likely to find people who are willing to play on LS-RP than not. Food for thought: Gamers worldwide: ~3.2 billion Even if only 0.01% of gamers are interested in text-based RP, that’s 320,000 potential players. A healthy server only needs 400–500 players. My question to everyone: how do you expect more players if the only people knowing about LS-RP either accidentally found it or came back for the nostalgia? Advertising is the key to get more players. I believe that more people can run SAMP than GTA:V.

Recruitment for the faction is done in-character, and you will be expected to follow the server rules while associating yourself with our image. Be respectful to those around you and dedicate yourself to your characters development within the faction. The aim of 38th Street is to create a realistic sureño environment in El Corona. Mario Arias, 15, 16, 17 Mario Arias, a 15 year old local in the slums of El Corona, 38ST. Mario is an aspiring music/creative artist, rather than the rap dreams most have around him, Mario Arias grew up with the likes of his older brother Alvaro Arias, who was heavily influenced in the 90's teen classics, such as skating, punk rock and graffiti. Mario and Alvaro both lack a father figure in their lives, being deported to Guatemala Mexico in 09, leaving Mario to seeing his bigger brother as his role model, Mario started copying his mannerisms,got into graffiti, started to play the guitar and desperately try to "get up" in the graffiti scene. With the loss of his brother in 2019 in a gang related shooting, Mario was left to fend for his own, helping his poor mother try to make ends meet, all the while he suffered through chronical stress due to having all the heavy weight being put on him to provide. Nowadays Mario still resides in El Corona and still continues trying to pursue his dream as an artist. Due to the lack of same interests around the hood, Mario can't relate to many, while others are bumping Lil Rob and rapping along, he was trying to show that Suicidal Tendencies is also a hispanic band. And the hope of all the graffiti around, he found noone is actually interested, rather they're marking territory instead of getting up. All this left him feeling lonely with noone to relate to, Mario usually hangs around and tries to influence others into a band he's creating or trying to relate to others who suffer the chronic gang mentality that he's free of. PRESENT DAY Mario Arias, 17 gave up on his dreams of becoming a pro skateboarder and his graffiti crew PTU (Paint The Ugly) failing horrendously, Mario fell victim like mostly everyone else in his neighborhood, he started to hang out with the killers and thieves he always stood away from, yet he didn't change anything about himself, he still kept trying to make people laugh and trying to fit in, ultimately not realizing no one really fits into a gang. He stood out of the gangway most of the time yet still kept being pressured into their way of living. With the release of Amethyst "Sleepy" Sagrario, Mario saw a new potential, instead of falling into one of the 2 cliques, he chose to join the gang in his own terms, that being the revival of the currently inactive clique Parkside Dukes (PDKS.) Mario knew he may not get people to join PTU, but he can surely get people in Dukes, the glorification of gang banging in his neighborhood completely clouded his judgement, not even realizing he's no longer looking for fellow artists to join his graffiti crew to get up with, rather groom people exactly like he was groomed to become another gang member, another statistic. Especially with the life he took from a rival gang member on the seventh of november, 2025, which made him feel like there really is no turning back and this is the life he must live now, his future. All the potential he once had now fell short as do many people in the hood.

Hi everyone, With October over, and Halloween finally wrapped up, we have no doubt that within a blink of an eye it will soon be the "C" word (Christmas) and we're already preparing for our festive activities. The most notable event of the month was the Halloween event which was put together at the Dirty Lake and attended by our players. Without further ado, here's our October Community Update: Development Team With the upcoming re-launch of the RageMP server, we want to reiterate our commitment to SA-MP, we have a dedicated team of developers that span both universes and that isn't going to change. Since the last major game update to 14.0, the development team has been hard at work pushing out incremental updates with a bunch of new features, fixes and quality of life improvements. These are always announced on Discord in #game-changelog, but sometimes people miss these, so here's a round up of some of the key changes: - Adds the possibility to burn corpses - Adds messages when you take damage (it can be disabled with: /togdamage) - Adds /sendlocation, send your location to your phone contacts - Adds Romano Pizza mapping in Market - Adds Carson Haul and Wrench company mapping in Fort Carson - Adds "Platinum Cars" mapping in Santa Maria - Adds black coffee, clipboard, popcorn, white coffee custom objects to /hold - Adds 2 red solo cup variants and 8 vape variants to /hold - Adds fireworks - Adds furnishing to business employee powers, grant employees /furniture access - Adds /togglesafezone, business and some select property owners can choose if their business/property is a safezone - Adds /pmd (Prevent My Death) - if you're under 15 health, you can use it to go to 15 hp to prevent death from SAMP physics - Adds quick search to /samaps command without dialog e.g. /samaps 2478 Ganton Bl - Fixes an issue with non-packaged vehicle weapons disappearing - Fixes vehicle weapons turning in to Fists - Fixes an issue with talking animations - Fixes taxi fares calculating incorrectly I know a lot of people are eagerly awaiting more information on the upcoming re-launch of the RageMP server; as much as we’d love to share details with you, we don’t want to give a date and then let people down if we can’t meet it for whatever reason - although internally we're right on track, working away in the background. This server is a laughing stock now and on a one way cruise to closure. You have idiots in the staff team who just became staff when the server was dying who take they're job wayyyy too seriously. Putting themselves in situations and only looking at it one-sided, lack of roleplay quality and general understanding about illegal faction scenarios, mallrat mentality-- I can go on and on. I'm suprised this thread even made it this far because normally transparent threads like this that consists of other players keeping it real are quick to get shutdown, I remember back on the old forums around this time I wanna say in 2019 somebody made a thread like this and it was all type of people commenting dropping they're 2 cents, even ex & current staff members. I feel like shouldn't no bans be issued unless it's for hacks. When you're losing a player or three everyday on average and peaking at any number besides 100 are the bare minimum you shouldn't have the luxury to ban mfs and make them wait an appeal out-- especially on this old ass game. LSRP is not the same LSRP it once was. DMers are the main reason this server is alive and even thought about. The faction scene specifically on the illegal side is a joke aswell. Gang roleplay been watered down on here by turkish and islamic pakistans stealing old threads and saying " Chea' " , " Bluh' " & " Cuh" nonstop on top of having run on sentences in they're screenshots and standing on the block lined up like statues. Characters coming out the woodworks with no development , Unrealistic RP, no build up of anything and most people on the server with an exception of a few don't even know how to create roleplay for themselves.. instead they just wait around and piggy back off someone who know's how to create RP. What really did it was when everyone account's got wiped if they didn't login back in July or August-- whcihever date that was. You have the owner of the server himself going on " leave " & having people sit in his section of the ban appeal waiting weeks , months maybe a full year before getting a response out of him. people who choose to wait that long are the potential players who /might/ keep the server alive. LSRP V also a fail. They should just pull the plug on everthing ATP. Cops and Staff makeup for pretty much half the server when it's peak time. I can't stress this enough this enough that the staff team is the reason this server is declining. When Damien , Surreal & Ben was still in the management on top of Westside holding down IFC the server still had some potential. Don't know what they got going on now.

Our faction's main objective is to depict an authentic one-percenter motorcycle club, with a strong focus on individual character growth and fostering rich, immersive lore. We expect our members to maintain a high standard of roleplay and to familiarize themselves with the one-percenter culture before joining. If reliable resources are difficult to find, we’re more than happy to assist with character creation and provide materials to help players accurately portray a motorcycle club member. We recognize that real-life responsibilities such as work and family always take precedence over roleplay. While some may not fully grasp this, rest assured that joining our faction does not require you to be active every night of the week. Once you enter the prospecting phase, we reserve the right to issue a character kill if there is valid justification. However, this is always considered a last resort rather than a first option.
