Just to make it clear, when I posted this thread it was not aimed at SD at all, I've had nothing but fun interactions with them involving well role-played scenes. This is directed directly at PD. Another thing I will add is Kane needs to just either CK on Colt or go patrol the suburbs. He's died multiple times and returns within the hour like nothing has happened repeating the same "Can I see your bulge" line. It's boring & this is a person who is meant to be setting examples for his PD colleagues & the server, given his position in the staff team. Meri is also following close behind in his footsteps with the trash Robocop RP. This thread also isn't to have a tit for tat about gangs and how they portray themselves, make another thread for that. It's to discuss the current state of PD and that only, I believe all the serious responses from the LS-RP community should be looked into and taken into consideration. If there's a problem with illegal factions we should open a separate discussion to combat that.

I'll chime in this discussion as the last thread I posted on has since been archived. Speaking on behalf of SD leadership, we're striving to give the community the very best representation and a genuine LEO experience on the server. We've made endless changes to ensure we strike the balance right, and are able to account for our actions at any time. We welcome any feedback, whether positive or negative and you have our commitment that we will get back to you every time. I've personally removed ample people from the SD who do not conform to our standards, and we're committed to continuing this way. It really is about quality over quantity. If anyone wants to reach out to me about anything at all my discord is open for all. However with that said, everyone has an equal responsibility to improve the current state. This isn't one faction vs the other, this isn't illegal vs legal, everyone has a part to play.

How dare law enforcement officers enforce the law. There are some legitimate concerns but the contrast between the high quality gang factions like EHC (which has several prominent and long-term IFT members in it) and the lower quality factions (calling out being shot for posing a threat to the public as unfair) is maddening. Kane might be a trolling, deathmatching hick but you guys have entire factions whose thread's sole purpose is to catch your opps in a death screen and the mountains of high-powered weaponry you drop millions on per week just proves that point. If you want this to stop being a "cops and robbers" server then take the first step and stop roleplaying robbers and start roleplaying characters.

I was very vocal about the state of cops and robbers for years. I was happy to see people like Scumpy try their hand at doing something different to counter the mentality transpiring these days. As for the illegal side; there seems to be an extreme level of hyper DM mentality lately. Reading some of the player reports, it is honestly astonishing the lengths people go through to form over exaggerated reasons to rain bullets on oppositions over spilled milk. There’s a report up right now where a group of people are justifying murdering people over minor fender benders. I just believe this sort of mentality hinders the server from growing. Not every interaction has to lead to guns being drawn and bodies being dropped in the middle of broad daylight.

Bad Influence Gangster Crips - History Coming from East Los Santos, Los Colinas, It's known to be a very quiet and reserved area. Due to its naturally secluded environment, this had caused a group of friends in the early 1990s to form a tagging group, The Bad Influence Gangsters (B.I.G), a predominantly African American street gang as a way to shine light on Los Colinas and put it on the map. Although, the Bad Influence Gangsters would soon pick up the 3X Gangster Crips card in 1995, this being when they'd begin gaining traction. Within the years of 2003 and 2004, LSPD Gang Enforcement Units had made their very first contact with few members, labeling B.I.G's primary criminal acts being narcotic possessions for sale, robbery, felony weapon possession, attempted murder and vandalism. One of the more recent cases would be in June 2008, Keion Ruffin a/k/a T-Fade#2 would be convicted of attempted murder after shooting at a rival gang member, Modern Day As of modern day, the area would begin to see a mix of both Mexican and African American residents. The Bad Influence Gangster Crips are smaller than what they were in the 90s, although many of the current generation affiliates are known to be off-springs of previous generation affiliates.

I wish i could say he is, but he sadly isn’t. Thats what I’m trying to convey here, LEO factions are met with terrible standards of role play majority of the time and most of the time you have no idea of what happens to us everyday in game. Your concerns are understandable and valid and LSSD in particular has been trying to provide as much roleplay ad possible but it’s inevitable for faults to occur thanks to the overwhelming number of players on this server that proudly fly the “I’d rather shoot than go to jail” attitude with zero fear of LEO consequence at all. It all boils down to the fact that there were no punishments put down. I’d like to quote my original reply from the original topic as well to make it known and obvious that the definition of “poor reason to kill” is unfortunately very subjective as we have been indulged in several “suicide by cop” and “poor reason to kill” situations that were ruled out justifiable by this very current admin team. When LEOs dont find proper outcomes of reports its inevitable they’ll adapt and eventually stoop down to the level they see and meet everyday. I hope this sheds light on why we are in this situation now.

Said all that needs to he said. Slamming blame on LEOs while not looking into the fact that 80% of the playerbase would rather “shoot it out because they don’t wanna go to jail” is absurd to me. I’m only speaking on this since multiple comments mentioned the entire concerns about the entire downhill par of rp of the LEO scene as a whole, I’ll be speaking from an SD standpoint considering it is the faction a belong to. SD has been giving out the best that could be done to most factions regardless of the constant breakage of server policies and rules and the absurd mentality and attitude glooming over the server as a whole Multiple comments showed evident that the complaints keep hovering around the fact that the community is upset that they get caught after publicly display long guns and heavy weapons. Instead of throwing the blame entirely on LEOs with having zero idea of the amount of sub-par rp we are faced with on a daily basis thanks to the downgrading and crazy spiraling down par of rp for the entire server is not it. No LEO factions randomly starts going ham, I’d advise you lot see for yourselves the way you react with law enforcement considering majority you all would rather “shoot my way out than go to jail” which is an unhealthy mentality that glooms over the entire server. Be the change you want to see. You can not expect something from LEOs when the entirety of the server had a downhill mindset and par of rp, yes some factions are indeed flourishing and have very great and high level roleplay, but expecting LEOs to just suddenly stop and treat you differently just because while the whole server would rather “shoot and kill cops for dm montages & not go to jail” There are several groups that go in game with the soul purpose of killing cops, no wonder LEO levels would drop thanks to this messed up attitude. LEOs, primarily SD as this is the faction I belong to and am able to speak about, are not here to police your server, yes, but you do have to expect to he caught after pulling stunts like drive by shootings in the middle of the city in broad daylight with several patrol cars around and multiple detectives to investigate. It’s not about “winning” we get absolutely nothing from confiscating your weapons or arresting you, we just want to provide and RECEIVE proper role play and enjoy our time on the server, thats it. I’ve said it once and i’ll say it again. Harsher punishments is a must for both parties, we wouldn’t be here if there were genuine punishments applied to clear and absurd behavior instead of a “slap on the hand” or “It will be better on Rage”.

And All I’m getting is that all PD want to do is log in and hunt for guns and drugs with ur /me looks for bulges roleplay 🤣🤣🤣

Instead of just having this be another thread that will blow over or die out I'm going to be sporadically replying to those who I believe bring up genuine concerns. I can't promise to fix every problem as I don't preside over all people with a gun and badge, nor do I think there aren't issues on the illegal roleplay side too but I'll do my best to be approachable here. Those who I don't directly address can feel free to PM me with their concerns too, provided they are with faction members of the LSPD. (LSPD wears black/dark blue uniforms, LSSD wears tan/green uniforms) If you're unsure which faction they belong to you can forward it to the Head of Legal Factions or myself and we can point you in the right direction. Solution can be only one, cops like they are forced to be voice chat it's time for them to be forced to record their gameplay. END. All the hustles could be solved, when a party thinks he got targeted unfairly or with DM intentions, a simple report, cop provide the clip to handling admin and no more drama. Can also be given IC same as radio with voicechat, the camera is mainstream in 2025 But forgot like that they can't abuse helicopter+ nametags+ freecam to find you from the other side of the map.

Doesn't it get old for you? We don't mind losing guns and drugs, but ya'll are just robotic about it. Feels like I'm on a cops & robbers server lately, there's 0 RP coming from PD. It's gotten to the point where we can't even take a drive out of our hood without a police car htiting an U-Turn and pulling us over. And it's not roleplay, atp it's deliberate targeting. Just shooting people down without RPing, ramming bikes to avoid a chase, switching between MP5s and Deagle's mid shoot out like this is CS:GO, list goes on. If PD is allowed to be a DM faction, EHC will follow suit. Then we will all just hop in game and shoot shit out with LSPD. EDIT: Just noticed @badhbh shut down the last thread citing "it has served it's purprose", literally the same day that thread was opened. It's not like it was a dead discussion. That seems to be management's stance on things, because obviously they do not see a problem with the way LSPD does things, so this thread is also useless.

Wouldn't respond but I will since the person above me did. A PD officer called ten cruisers on e perfect driving Burrito which had insurance and all, because he SAW the passenger hold a gun(tec9). When we asked he admitted he saw it in /b, went ahead and reported since the windows were closed. He used a modification that gave him advantage. He should have been banned. END. Yet the person above me didn't even give him a warning or a punishment, just voided the scene. Shows a lot how LEO get treated from admins, and why they come and have the attitude to chase someone. No one does road blocks for checks at night. They don't want to RP they just want the easy "legal" DM spree.
