  1. Since I contributed to some negativity on this forum about a week ago during my first impressions of playing this game I feel like I want to set the record straight by admitting that this shit is a lot more fun than I expected it to be. The initial shock of realising of how slow monetary progression is was definitely a turnoff in the beginning but honestly that feeling eventually faded by the roleplay I had with people on the server, mostly around businesses and with people in my faction but unfortunately this wasn't often since there's a disappointingly low number of businesses that offer a spot to hangout and meet other roleplayers during peak hours. With the coming window for business lease applications (which I hope is soon<3) I'm sure this matter will be adressed to some extent. Even so, I've come to the happy realization that this server is a lot better than it may look on paper and that most of the economic issues aren't that bad if you just play actively. To add, now that we get social security checks past lvl 3, we're able to focus on solely roleplaying, as just passively stacking levels will be more than enough to pay for rent + a feasible car. Not being forced to be a pro lawn-mower or sports fisherman feels really nice. . This server is honestly fortunate to have the base of loyal enthusiasts and roleplayers that it has, second to no other community in terms of quality and understanding for heavy text based roleplay. Playing here is a vibe that is hard to find somewhere else and luckily that's the biggest selling point for and old sa-mp veteran like me to stick on this server. For this reason I want to commend the admins for listening to our initial complaints and working quickly to adress issues within a reasonable timeframe. There's still a lot more to be done which the admins know about more than me but I have high hopes that they will make good on their responsibilites and perhaps even then some <3. Peace

  2. Yeah those changes are great and will make a good difference, the only thing left I would do if I were you guys was the "Don't pay or we'll take it away" for vehicle loans and future mortgages. Maybe have a system that doesn't allow you to spawn the vehicle until the payments balance is paid. So that way you don't lose the money spent on a car loan or mortgage. Let's say you missed 1 week of payments and you couldn't play that week. Well if you make more money you could be able to just pay the amount due and then avoid losing your vehicle/property because of IRL reasons that forced you not to play that week. But yeah overall it's a great step and I'm happy with these changes. The social check you get is decent enough to allow you to play and rp and still avoid grinding. Good job Roze

  3. The role playing quality is comparable. The script is obviously 7 years behind, BUT. The difference maker has been the staff, honestly. The staff is approachable, listens and actually gets shit done without taking 28 business days to do so. Props to you all. Amidst all the critique, you guys deserve some flowers, too.

  4. ABOUT The Hell Runners Motorcycle Club or the HRMC is a 1% Motorcycle Club originally coming from the Tri-State Region (New York (NY), New Jersey (NJ) and Connecticut (CT)) that was founded by Kevin Portillo and James Deckert in 1984 as a group for motorcycle passionates. The club later got involved in multiple illegal actions such as racketeering, drug and arms dealing, prostitution and arson which got them under the radar of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). The New Jersey chapter was considered to be the original one, with the 5 founding members coming from that area; usually all-charter churches were held in Lakehurst, New Jersey being considered one of the more iconic landmarks for the club, with most of the members calling it the mother-chapter. At the moment, the US Department of Justice declares that there are over 500 sworn-members over the 50 states in America, being considered one of the most dangerous gangs in the US. The club is not officially a racially segregated organization, although no afro-american members are apart of the HRMC. ORGANIZATION Each Hell Runners chapter in the United States is organized in a rank structure, consisting of a President, a Vice-President, a Secretary/Treasurer, multiple Sergeant-At-Arms, Road Captains and Enforcers. Each of the existing chapters has autonomy over their members/rankings and can make local-impact decisions on their own, without permission or summoning a church at the mother-chapter's location. ((OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION)) This faction is aiming to portray a realistic 1% MC, inspiring ourselves from existing motorcycle clubs from the United States. Gaining membership in the faction is done strictly IC (In Character) and we do not condone any type of favoritism but we encourage you to bring your friends along in our faction. We strive to follow all of the rules of LS-RP and enforce them at all times within the faction. If you have any questions or concerns about our faction, you can reach out to me (@danut) or @trickster.

  5. A quartered shield bearing the stars and stripes, a five cornered star and a grizzly bear - a tribute to the short-lived San Andreas Republic. A golden eagle like the kind depicted on the 19th century Mexican Coat of Arms, standing on a cactus while holding a rattlesnake in its beak, the old Alta City Hall and a lion rampant. The Los Santos City Government is one of the largest municipal organizations within the United States, and the largest in San Andreas, providing services to over three million constituents who reside both in the City of Los Santos and the County of Los Santos following a decision in 1992 to consolidate both the City and County of Los Santos into one large entity. The municipal organization is led by a City-County Mayor, who oversees all operations of the government and is responsible for the delivery and accessibility of services. Los Santos is home to people from all walks of life, of all cultures and backgrounds, located on the southern part of San Andreas. What started as a colonial settlement in 1781 under the Spanish Empire, saw rapid expansion ever since its establishment and quickly turned into a major colonial hub. While not much is known about the city during the Spanish rule, it is known that the territory was later on taken over by Mexico in the 1800s, and then rebelled under the short-lived San Andreas Republic in 1846 over land-purchasing rights. At the beginning of the revolt, flags bearing a five cornered star and a grizzly bear were raised by the mutineer soldiers, replacing the Mexican ones. On July 5, 1846 - the United States flag was raised throughout government buildings and militia bases, marking the end of the Republic and the annexation of the land by the United States. --------------------------------------------------------------- TIMOTHY KNIGHT MAYOR Welcome to Los Santos, It is my pleasure to present you with a warm welcome to Los Santos, our little pearl in the West Coast. 7. Hi there, Firstly let me introduce myself. So I'm currently running the Company Team alongside some other capable members within the staff team and hoping to make it what it is today. We have had countless suggestions since launching and each suggestion that has been presented to us we have tried to implement. I know a lot of you have had some doubts that there's no businesses open this sort of thing, but we're trying our best to accommodate this and the main reason for the active businesses being closed before-hand was to work out who was active and who wasn't so I could single them out and get rid of the in-active which has been done already hence the applications being open. Before responding to the thread - if you check the Active Company Scheme and the Passive Roleplay scheme that's currently in place to help out the company owners - and employees. We would like to get some feedback, and what we can do to improve the company team overall as the community's voice is important, and we care and want to take any feedback, and try get it implemented to benefit LS-RP.

  9. The main reason why I did not want to leave the businesses leasing open germanely was mainly down to the fact that I wanted to have players have the options of working for these businesses and becoming managers and employees, that's why I closed them down to try and get people to actually roleplay with businesses and getting businesses. But I'll see what I can do about keeping them up all the time.

  10. @30PiecesOfSilver how do you feel about things now since first making this post? Since then we have incorporated the universal income, more support for businesses, faction scenario schemes etc, are things moving in the right direction?

  11. I thought the plan was to delay the server until it was feature rich so you had a comparative advantage against your major competitor? 1.5 years later and you release a barebones server anyway, that looks like it needs another 1.5 years of dev. Frankly, I think you guys severely underestimated the market for text-based GTA 5 RP. Some of you probably still think there are hundreds of players out there waiting to discover or move over to LSRP. There isn't. It's a limited subset of a community that's largely focused on voice RP, and the market isn't growing. It also doesn't help that there's now a 3rd player entering the market soon that will likely take a chunk out of your share of the pie too... This is a masterclass on how to fuck up a server launch. Your best bet was to offer something different from everyone else; instead, you open a server with a meta that came straight out of 2013 SAMP. No one wants to grind 40 hours of fishing just so they can RP what they actually want. You guys have done nothing innovative or interesting with this concept despite some of you having more than a decade of experience in GTA RP, and it's really disappointing. It's like you were banking on riding the wave of SAMP nostalgia and GTA W hate to establish your community. Now you're stuck trying to make a PB of 150 W rejects and ban evaders somehow "work". Judging from mmartin's sarcastic responses and constant deflection, it doesn't sound like you guys are smart enough to take the criticism to heart. Good luck.

  12. Hi, I'm ZiiM. I usually work with ReactJS/NextJS and Chakra UI or Mantinefor front end. I also enjoy working with other languages such as Java, lua and a tiny bit of C#. Below you will find bunch of projects I've done. Most are uncomplete, but most have the fundamentals started. You can the rest of my work at Github or on Figma ZiiMForge its supposed to be a custom wow addon installer, not complete. https://github.com/ZiiMs/ziimforge
