  1. While it's possible that the faction leader was unaware of the war's conclusion, the more pressing matter is his impulsiveness. It's alarming that a leader would personally seek out and target rivals by himself without apparent strategy or forethought. This really proves to me how eager players are to kill each other without putting any effort into roleplay.

EazyyyE would not be allowed to lead another faction.

  2. The opposing party was unable to comment on the report. Therefore, I'm sharing the PM I received from the faction leader to ensure transparency in this report.

"I'm unable to respond directly to the report for some reason. However, as evident in the videos provided, they initiated the conflict. Despite not completing their intended action, Nigel & Co informed us about the incident, prompting us to retaliate. I'm surprised that this overt 'play-to-win' attitude is being entertained. This individual has consistently caused issues for our faction, both in-character and out-of-character, since its inception. He previously established a 'crip' faction, confronted us on our own turf, and then reported us for reacting realistically. Now, he's simply rebranded and is attempting to target us out-of-character through the forums because he can't confront us in-character. This is a clear 'play-to-win' mindset. Just look at their thread; it's filled with violent incidents condensed into just two pages. I'm exhausted from addressing these tedious reports from individuals who can't accept their in-game outcomes."

From the evidence provided, it's evident that the Forum Drive Mobb initiated the first shot. Thus, the retaliation at Pit Stop is justified, and the 6-hour cooldown rule isn't applicable here. Since the shots were fired from a vehicle, the preceding roleplay isn't visible. However, I believe that the necessary roleplay actions, like drawing weapons, were performed. If the individuals had been on foot and didn't roleplay drawing significant weapons (like UZIs, shotguns, rifles, etc.), the situation would be different. It's crucial to ensure that actions, especially those leading up to significant events like drive-bys, are roleplayed appropriately.

That said, I have concerns about the quality of roleplay from both factions. The roleplay exhibited by Forum Drive Mobb and Southside Mob Piru is subpar, placing both factions on precarious ground. It's your duty to ensure that the roleplay standards are maintained and that your faction threads reflect quality roleplay.

I urge both factions to reflect on this feedback and elevate the quality of your roleplay. If improvements aren't observed, the Faction Management may have no choice but to disband the factions with immediate effect.

The Uncontrolled Faction War between your factions will be stopped with immediate effect, I want you both to focus on contributing good quality roleplay and refrain from all kind of shooting for a while.

  3. I agree with what you're saying; there are no real consequences. We've observed criminals escaping prison time easy. Even when they're severely injured, all they need to do is type "/me reaches for the gun," and they'll be executed by the PD/SD. We're all familiar with the reasons behind this.

Let me highlight a few scenarios from SAMP LS:RP that I believe were implemented during shootouts:

If a player with a PF license is shot during a confrontation with PD/SD, their license will be revoked. To be frank, I don't know how it works today, but I believe there are no real consequences.
Players couldn't use the /respawnme command until the PD/SD gave the green light. This allowed for roleplaying around the deceased character(s).
In certain situations, the PD/SD might instruct their players involved in the shootout to survive, if the gunshot wounds weren't fatal. An administrator could enforce this if necessary. Consequently, these players would face in-character consequences, such as imprisonment.

However, we currently need to hold back on implementing in-character consequences until the player base increases. At the moment, introducing these sanctions wouldn't be logical. Prisons needs to be picked up as the first thing.

  4. I understand where you're coming from, filled with good memories; nostalgia. We'll never find the same roleplay vibe anywhere else. I'm very familiar with the golden days of LS:RP, but those times will never return, which is why reviving the SAMP server would not help at all.

    - Slow development. Server updates are becoming even more rarer as the time goes, and so far these updates are minor and small. I don't know if it's because the developers busy or perhaps they are working on several big projects to release them all at once. I hope it's the second option.

    - Communication. Ever since Sal went on LOA, communication has been down a lot. No more staff meetings, no more news from the management. Again, I really hope this is silence before something big from their side. But players don't like silence.

    This.

I have always said that LSRP's biggest threat is not other communities, but its own management. A community needs active management that consistently makes an effort to keep the server running, whether it's development or something else.

We need weekly updates. @ImperiumXVII is diligently working to roll out updates, but we want more than just minor updates. Don't misunderstand me; we deeply appreciate every bit of effort, but we also yearn for more significant updates.

Expanding the staff, adjusting the development team, rules regulations, modifying gun prices, or introducing new updates won't make a difference if the core management remains inactive. This is simply the truth. A faction could be situated in the best location, having a decent amount of members, but if the leader isn't active or doesn't display genuine concern for the faction, it will gradually diminish.

Many of us remain loyal to this community and want it to thrive. All we ask in return is for some attention from those in higher positions. If they cannot provide this, then perhaps they should pass the ball to someone who genuinely cares about the community and has the capability to lead it effectively.

If you rarely log onto the forum, then I'm unsure how it's going to remain active.

The stricter penalties for poor driving need to be across the board. That includes those in legal factions who drive recklessly because who's going to pull them over?

As far as vehicle seizures, peep the penal code - you can impound if they're used in certain crimes.

As for people doing /me's of shooting to get finished off, this was still an issue at the start of 2020 on SAMP when I was an admin.

Death bills are not the answer. Those were annoying on SAMP when we had more money, losing out on money because someone shot you for something that may not be your fault isn't a good answer.

    Thanks for the reply!

Indeed, but impounding is not the same as having your vehicle confiscate completely. There will be no chance of getting the vehicle back. It belongs to the state who may sell it at auction. As I stated above, I believe that the confiscation of a vehicle should only happen if the owner has accumulated a significant number of warnings. I think losing a vehicle will be a hard lesson, and next time they purchase a vehicle, they will likely be more cautious.

Of course, impouding should be the first solutions, but if the owner continues to drive recklessly despite of having the vehicle impounded, the last resort should be to confiscate it.

This applies for every civilian of Los Santos

    The Problem:
There's very little consequences to being an absolute moron and subsequently providing sub-par role play / just engaging in "poor portrayal". People do all kinds of stupid shit and often get away with nothing more than a PK. They don't lose money on a PK, they don't lose all of their items, and they obviously don't lose their characters. They just get PKed, respawn and are right back to doing dumb shit and being unrealistic characters all over again. Yeah, I know, they lose guns and drugs. You lose a pistol costing less than $1,000 which you can make by less than a day of AFK-ing in-game. Big deal. There are no consequences.

I've been roleplaying on the server for about two weeks now, nearly every day. Honestly, I'm quite shocked by the quality of the roleplay I'm experiencing from most of the players. This is not the LS:RP I remember, and I suspect that many of these players don't really care about the server.

One instance that surprised me involved a shootout between us (PD) and other players, which resulted in the shooters entering the "injured" mode, or whatever it may be called. In order to avoid being incarcerated, the injured shooters would just use /me commands like "reaches for gun" or "aims gun at officers", prompting some of the officers at the scene to fatally shoot the suspects. In my opinion, this is a problem, as it allows them to avoid prison time, which is ridiculous. Then they simply respawn, acquire a new gun, and repeat the same actions with no real consequences other than losing some money and a weapon. Serious consequences should follow such criminal activities. I understand that if you're dead, you're dead. However, I have yet to see a single suspect who was injured in a shootout with the PD end up in prison.

Let's not even mention the driving... It's entirely out of control. There needs to be stricter penalties for poor driving. A simple ticket or warning isn't sufficient. If their driving is completely reckless or they've accumulated too many warnings, we (PD) should be authorized to seize their vehicle, meaning they will never be able to retrieve it. This is a proposal I intend to make. We need harsher penalties to demonstrate to players that this sort of in-character behavior will have consequences.

Unfortunately, the amount of out-of-character chat, poor roleplay quality, and trolling is exceedingly high on the server currently. This is not the LS:RP I'm familiar with. I hope that immediate action will be taken to address this issue. It's reaching a point where roleplaying isn't even enjoyable anymore.

I'm not against using a  PF license gun to commit crimes and robberies but something HAS to be done.  It feels a lot like a cops and robbers down in Davis/Rancho/Strawberry.

The amount of toxicity OOC from these street gangs is a joke right now. So, I feel like something has to be put in place to maybe limit the shootouts a bit, and my solution would be with prison. First off, switch to a days system instead of 10 hours for a murder. You get caught killing or with a felony, well I'm sorry but your guy is in prison for the next 7 days. And it goes down offline. That would promote the future DOC and maybe slow down the rampages. And bring a 3 strike system. 3 bad felonies like murder and violent crimes and your character is now in perma prison forever. Enough is enough, it's not role-play but dm out there.

    I couldn't agree more. That's exactly what I've experienced.

Stricter in-character sanctions are needed. For instance, if a player drives recklessly or has accumulates a significant number of warnings or tickets, their vehicle should be confiscated.
Prison sentences should increase if a player commits numerous felonies within a short period of time.
Furthermore, a larger sum of money should be lost whenever a player dies.

Would be nice if we could have some input from the management about the current situation. We all want the best in the end.

EDIT: I’d like to tag @Fiendfyre for her opinion about the confiscation

  8. I understand where you're coming from, but no matter how much we yearn for the 'golden days', those time are in the past.

The older generation had a great time with SAMP, but the newer generation or new players would probably never play with SAMP graphics.

The server is new and still undergoing heavy development. We should give it some time to grow.
