  7. Who We Are Los Santos Capital Group was born from the strategic merger of Roux Capital Group and Terra Group Incorporated, previously helmed by Jack Roux and Oscar Richter, respectively. After Terra Group dissolved, Richter transitioned into Roux Capital Group but soon realized that their legacy business models and core values struggled to find traction in the rapidly shifting economic landscape of modern Los Santos. Faced with diminishing relevance and market disconnect, both executives took a step back, reassessing their approaches and the need for something more adaptable and forward-thinking. Out of this reevaluation came the decision to combine forces and create a unified entity where each held an equal 50% stake. Los Santos Capital Group represents not just a merger of companies but a fusion of philosophies, blending Roux's financial acumen with Richter’s strategic vision. With this renewed partnership, they aim to reshape how business is done in Los Santos, offering tailored solutions, investments, and services that align with the city's evolving demands and the sophisticated expectations of its clients. Our Vision The vision of Los Santos Capital Group is to preserve timeless business principles while adapting them to the demands of a modern market. We strive to be more than just a financial firm—we aim to be your partner in growth, helping you navigate the complexities of the financial world with confidence. Our Leadership The merger of Terra Group Incorporated and Roux Capital Group brings together a leadership duo with deep experience and a proven track record of success. By combining their strengths, they forge a partnership that draws on both their past triumphs and lessons learned from prior challenges. This fusion of expertise transforms their accumulated knowledge into a formidable asset, enabling them to navigate future opportunities with precision and confidence. Business Portfolio Los Santos Forum The Los Santos Forum, built in the late 1970s, was once the epicenter of sports and entertainment in Los Santos, hosting legendary events that attracted crowds from across San Andreas. Known for its massive structure and state-of-the-art facilities, it stood as a symbol of the city's vibrant culture and ambition. However, economic challenges and shifting interests led to its decline by the early 2000s, leaving it in disrepair—a shadow of its former glory. Recently, the Los Santos Forum caught the eye of business mogul Jack Roux and has been added to the business portfolio of Los Santos Capital Group. Today, the Forum has been revitalized as an underground racing track, embraced by the city's thriving street racing community. The once-iconic arena now serves as a gritty reminder of Los Santos' resilience, where the echoes of its past blend with the roar of engines, keeping the Forum a vital, if unconventional, part of the city’s evolving identity. 9. Well I think I'll say my piece too now. I joined LSRP last year, around August-September I think, on the V platform just to take part in Bellomo's new stint. The server fell apart a couple months later but I had already lost interest after 2 weeks. Script was basically non-existent, the administration was also non-existent because no matter what you needed, you had to wait, and wait, and wait. Fast forward to a year later, I get told LSRP decided to relaunch on SAMP, big playerbase and all that. So I thought things might be better here as probably the staff was working behind the scenes for this relaunch and I gave the benefit of the doubt to the terrible run of the V server. Sadly, nothing has changed at all and it's probably evident that we (our faction) struggle with motivation to even log in. You can simply tell from our page count on our faction thread but we are doing our best to stay on track, given our real life commitments and all. There's only a very few of us coming IG and the rest can't be bothered because even if they log IG every now and then, the place doesn't cut it for them. The mentality and culture of the staff team has not changed since last year on V and some people say it's been like that even before, despite whatever excuse is brought up by the administration/management on this thread. That much I don't know, if I didn't see it I can't comment. So I gotta give it the benefit of the doubt and only comment on what I've seen so far myself. We as a faction have been passed on everything, drug scheme, strawmen scheme, melee scheme, we have a faction complex PENDING from July and when our faction leader confronted them, clearly fed up with the hold up time of 3 months, he's got told by a member of the management to "Get off his high horse". Yet the Nakahara-Kai or other factions got it months ago. Latest is a forum report I made with solid and incriminating evidence where the admin has to just say "He did fail to RP/He didn't fail to RP" by watching the videos in the evidence....That report is left there, locked, it was posted 13 days ago. On any other community you see reports handled in 3 days top. We've been harassed for months by another faction and it took 3-4 months to take action on that. Now we got passed on a business application as well, and no offence to anyone else who posted their application, Bruce Laterza's was much more well written than others and there was definitely more effort into that one than the others we've seen. And that is laughable when considering that on our illegal scheme applications (strawmen, drugs, melee) when we got passed on we were told "there were better applications out there". So speaking for myself and/or my faction here if I may: How are players going to be motivated to join with this setting of things? The answer is probably: There ain't a way at the moment. Just log in, enjoy the nostalgia project but don't have expectations. Is this ^ acceptable? I don't think so. We can all sit here and complain and say there needs to be a culture change, a mentality change to help this community to improve but unfortunately the problem is way too much radicated into the staff team. You'd have to probably remove 90% of the staff team and hire new people but then again I'm sure some of them will retain that mentality because the direction is dictated by the management and the new ones will probably become complacent. An example? Admins who are in a RP scene cannot handle their own situation if they witness a clear rulebreaking and have to make a forum report. The issue here is that the workload is so high on the admins that most of them perhaps can't even be bothered to handle small things and there's an encouragement to be lazy this way and they feel ENTITLED to it. Clearly, this directive ain't even stopping or preventing any bias, going back on the applications subject. I've been on different communities, I've been an admin myself on many platforms/communities, on SAMP I've been for years on TrueRoleplay as an admin, the server didn't have the same playerbase as LSRP, but had a steady amount of players on and it was never dropping down like it's happening on LSRP, the script was superb and interesting and the administration was swift in handling requests. This is what make people feel as if they matter and are considered as an active part of the community. I've also been on Red County RP, where I have been banned for something I never did and they knew it, but they had their agenda so that's ok. The admin team over there wasn't the best either, but some were fair, you'd get answered quick enough and the script was alright. LSRP lacks both things. The script is incredibly basic, the playerbase is dropping fast and the admin team isn't the best either, granted there are SOME who actually do their work but majority of the requests are left on read and/or pending for way too long. I have no doubt you're all great people outside of the game, but this position isn't suited for some of you if you take so long for small/petty requests and then even have the audacity to tell people to get off their high horse when they're fed up of waiting. Yeah, sure, we all have our own lives and I do understand real life comes first, but if you got the time to log in and don't want to do your admin work and prioritize your duty but just want to log in and have fun? Then being an administrator ain't for you, because you should be doing your admin work first THEN chill and have fun. Again, speaking about entitlement. If you want the culture on LSRP to change it has to change from the foundations of the community, which is the staff team. Enable the staff to have more freedom within their boundaries, remove all the useless council and assign each department to each administrator (can also have 2 on the same department and remove this rule they gotta check it up with the other before approving something, at the end of each month the management reviews their performance and their decisions and if their rating falls below 6 on a scale of 1 to 10 you remove them from the team or demote/promote them on performance, not seniority) to ease up the workload and if that doesn't change then look for new members of your administration, continue to release the script updates you've been releasing which have been good so far, make things fun and interesting for people. Give them a reason to say "I'll go IG and have some fun" rather than "Ah I can't be bothered to log in, boring/Ah can't be bothered to go IG and be unable to RP what I want to RP because what I need is being put on hold or disregarded and God knows when I'll see it." The mistake that is made is to think that the administration here needs to be venerated and begged somehow because they have a tiny bit of fame on a dying community and if we need something we don't gotta sit on our high horse after waiting for months. No, you WORK for the community, not the other way around. If you don't change that mindset, you won't have a community to moderate for much longer because people will get tired. Heavy RP server?....Where??? The only heavy RP you can encounter on this server comes from Valenti, period. You go to Verona mall on the Market strip or Idlewood, where's the heavy RP? I don't know how many times I drove past Idlewood or Verona mall and the RP was incredibly sub-par, not to mention the general OOC messages admins make IG sometimes, saying that the mass DM/trolling in Idlewood has to stop or punishment will follow. And let's not forget people breaking into your car every 5 minutes looking for guns. In what realistic world do you break into 200 hundred cars to look for guns? That's Metagame and an abuse if anything and it's becoming so annoying that perhaps if you want to contrast that, you'd have to remove the ability for players not owning a vehicle to /check and /takegun, exception made for LEOs. Do you think anybody takes any of this even seriously though? If you commit an heavy offence you get 25 minutes jail. You kick people for "Not here to RP" sometimes. We had to make 10+ reports to have some people rightfully punished when clear-cut evidence was passed on with warnings. People don't take this serious no more because you're afraid to lose people and they know it. But by doing so, you retain rulebreakers and sub-par RPers at the expenses of the good RPers who will eventually leave because the standards are not what they're meant to be. And on top of that the admins are not fulfilling their duties when they should and leave things on hold for weeks if not months. More importantly, ENABLE your community members to get where they want to be by helping them with their requests, because the moment you ignore them, you leave them on hold or you tell them to get off their high horse, you lose them. Do it once, twice....do it 100 times, what you're gonna be left with? Surely not a community to moderate, so perhaps the ones who should get off their high horses ain't the players but the moderators. Help your community to grow stronger by assisting your players with their requests. If you don't do that, you don't help them grow and you're consequently limiting your community and server growth and neither you will find it fun no more. I was excited to join LSRP SAMP tbh, get the chance to check this server out because I knew some people from other communities who always said it was heavy RP but I never got the chance to because of me being an admin elsewhere and didn't really have time for it. Needless to say that I am disappointed so far. The only thing that lived up to its name so far was Valenti. And btw I wanna say one last thing. Me and him are not friends, we've been at eachother's neck in the past but that wasn't because of me having a problem with him, at all. I've known him since 2012, however I feel I have to say something in his defence. Silencing tracksuithitman wasn't the best move @Mmartin. You can have all the reasons you want on earth, but you don't take action before checking facts and instead go on to claim it's false rumor spreading lies. Check evidence first, THEN after checking the evidence you make your decision, like on reports. To ban him before any of that was impulsive and people can perceve it as a cover-up attempt after he claimed the administration is corrupt. You're the face of LSRP and you can't afford that with the state of things right now. When you do that you push your community to believe their opinion and voice don't matter. I've read your ping-pong on here with Tracksuithitman and despite all of your reasons, you've acted on impulse, not on evidence and that is discouraging for people to see. This is what I mean with culture and mentality change. I wish I could've banned Vesci's that quick when they kept on harassing us rather than wait 4 months. Do we have to think that what transpired is that you guys are admins and if it doesn't suit you then it's ok to act immediately, but if something doesn't suit us we're forgotten and got to wait and nag to get something done? Do you see what's wrong here? Granted if the evidence he provided wasn't good you'd be in the rightful position to say "You're presenting me with false facts and have done nothing but spread rumors in LSRP at the expense of our administration. You had an agenda? Fine, this place however is not for you any longer". But to ban him before even checking what he had to back up his claims? Whether he withheld the evidence or not, he finally decided to come forth and confess on the incriminating stuff he claims he's got. You owe him at least the benefit of the doubt, considering how many times the community has granted the administraiton the benefit of the doubt. This whole thread is an appeal to you to hear us out and work with us to change things, don't let our words fall on deaf ears. Set the tone for the community and the community will then shape to it.
