Why are there not more active businesses?

The server badly needs more active and open businesses. I am very confused as to why in the world you would have the option to apply for leasing a business as closed at this point when speaking of playerbase retention?

 

By no means would I suggest to let just anybody lease any sort of business. Enforce that you process and allow a variety of businesses to be leased of course, but grant people the option to apply and commit time and effort to allow more businesses to be opened up on the server. Obviously we do not need 10 night clubs, or 10 bars, or 10 restaurants - but this isn't SA-MP where you could go from Idlewood to Vinewood within a minute.

 

There needs to be businesses open nightly on a map such as GTA V where people can seek out roleplay, not just one bar or two bars. I'm sure many players and faction owners are eager to start up quality businesses at this stage of the server, anyway.

They're slowly starting up and the latest update shows open businesses as a green blip on the map.

 

New businesses are sprouting but it takes time to implement them through schemes and such.

Businesses are slowly starting to open up, but there isn't much variety. Not exactly sure why business applications have been closed so early, especially when there seemingly aren't that many active businesses.

Active business applications more or less will be opening tomorrow - we understand the shortage of the businesses at the moment but we’ve been working behind the schemes to get things running to help support these businesses and we’ve been working on removing the inactive lot to being in a fresh set of businesses. So keep your eyes peeled

There's literally 30 companies in the works atm. People just ain't setup. Licenses, interiors.

This basically!

 

When people get a business, they need to pay for licenses, prepare staff, and furnish it - Furnishing it takes the longest and people are getting used to the new system

 

There are actually quite a lot of businesses, but yeah... They just need to get started

 

@Dos Santos has been doing a very good job at encouraging people and with apps opening back up hopefully we'll get more too
