The person who is affected by it, can appeal. But the same person decided to go on DM sprees like a little immature kid, proving the action worthy. Idk why they need lawyers. -

You talk about homophobic, half assed, hateful and racist comments? That's bright. -

You expect professionalism and quick reactions from the staff, but you're stuck saying the same things over and over again. If you don't want to be replied the way you talk, don't post then. In other words, don't talk the talk if you can't walk the walk. You post hate, get warned and you just talk about censorship. Sometimes, you really should watch in the mirror. Staff is already doing it's part, as I said, things don't happen in 5 minute span from your hate post. -

You seem to misunderstand stating your opinion publicly and being a human being. Chill boys. I'm pretty sure you can properly set up a discussion instead of talking about 40 y/o homosexuals and just recycling how you disagree with management, and expect a change within 5 minutes from your massive post of saying how bad staff is. Look at yourself in the mirror sometime. -

I fully feel you Michael. And discussions are there to make things better. I just hope more people read through them to educate instead of thinking it's a few people yapping on a "dead game" or fuck all lsrp cause some people in the past were idiots. -

I get your idea, I agree with you. The dismissive and superior attitude that you'd do everything much better is what makes me want to defend it, but it's easy to just judge, and also makes the distance bigger. So I won't. All I can do is pretty much take your opinion and use it in the future if it happens, maybe share the mindset as much as I can. Although it'll change nothing, to be honest. Because again, there will be one thing that someone won't like and complain again, point a finger to the staff and the hiatus between them and on and on. -

But this is just a specific case. You are nitpicking. I can stream you my playtime and show you that there are countless situations where we do exactly what you're saying. We just don't walk around to tell you we did it. -

Oh so your problem is the reporting party and not the reported party. And the reported party wasn't even bothered by it. You are. You want us to bring back the report and punish the reporting party, without an actual report on them, then? -

I didn't read your first post that you are trying to backup, because I'm not home right now. But since you decide to go case by case, I'll answer to you the same way, in hope that you won't think I'm going aggressive on you, but to give you the server administration side of things. N0de states clearly in his first sentence "Given your clean admin record, I'll just be issuing you a warning.". And then he proceeds to explain the player what he did wrong and voided the scene. Not every situation must be concluded with an ajail, a kick or a ban. Admins take under consideration the players record, demeanor throughout a report and at some cases how long it was since their last admin punishment. Also in cases, we add those warnings as notes to players whereas an admin later on can see that the player has been warned. In the case of the report you try to somewhat bash the current Staff, the player is brand new, and they were corrected without a punishment this time around. Don't take me wrong, but not giving someone a chance to keep their admin record clean is as unfair as the way you are using this "amazing example", which in my eyes is good administration move from n0de. However, there are cases where players been around messing around for way too long and left unpunished. This is not something that is going lightly anymore, at least from the admins I know around. -
Congratulations to all the winners! Nice to see, more to come!

However, I understand what you're saying, but there's no actual solution at hand I can just pull out of my pocket to be frank with you, as a Game Admin. All I can do is take your word and at the first chance I get, provide it to a discussion where Staff is needed to put their input. My job is merely to push your word into our Management & try to point them at the direction our community shows. Which I actually appreciate, especially when the way you reply is actually not "fuck you all, this is the right way". I understand that the problem here is the line between Management → Players Feedback. Maybe at this point, some of us from the staff team are at fault too, because Management has tried to get our opinion for areas of improvement, but I don't think anyone has asked you an open question like that from our side here. All I can tell is not a promise, but the fact that our leadership seems to be trying to provide what the community wants. Maybe attempt to get back some factions too, or players who lost their faith. I have also been through a moment where I lost my faith towards the leadership, but to be honest, the server is based on its players and not the leadership per se. That's a very bad attempt to distract and derail the discussion I'm trying to provide here. Two admins who got banned is history, it happened - you can move on instead of recycling the story, it provides nothing but negativity. As for the Senior Admin allegations, as far as I'm aware it's a thing under investigation. The reason this thread got active again is because there's few of us actually trying to get feedback so we can push it to the appropriate channels. Passive aggressive comments like the one you made, are immature and provide literally nothing but negativity & you try to catch a reaction so you can point your finger again. His first statement was vague, his second attempt was on point. I listed some of the current leadership, who might even need to read this. I will agree with the structure, plan and priorities. Which is something they are trying to fix, I hope not when it's already super late. What many players do not understand, is that we are on the same boat. We're all people who want the server to keep having players in for us to play. We're all people who want factions to have interactions with. It's not that some people sit in a hollow mountain, conspiring how to make things worse and hard. Regardless if your forum name is white, green or whatever, we all play on LSRP in the end of the day. -

That's also another vague statement, I'm afraid. "Bad Management"? You're literally calling out @jack, @izumi, @Dos Santos, @bobster, @Helius & @badhbh, who have been delivering almost everything that was requested by the community. What I'm aware and I've stated in countless discussions, is that LSRP has a problem in delivering solutions fast. Which is a big flaw. Unless by "bad management" you want to point the finger to someone specific. If communicated properly, I think no one will feel threatened by your statement to bring things in a better face. Waving the hand of "there's no coming back", brings no solutions. And you are the thread holder of an Official Illegal Faction, which is also active. It's concerning if you make such comments publicly, and I'm willing to listen. -
Can we bring back the old playerbase count?

This server has been around for way too long to "not deserve" something, and many people have devoted a lot of their time, including factions, individual players & staff. Because there were bad apples, you can't really put the whole group in the same sack, it's really unfair. I'm pretty sure LSRP is aware that huge mistakes were made in the past, but right now (ever since SAMP returned) working to get this back. If factions feel, they are always welcome to return and continue what they were doing. The server has enough room, both script-wise and map-wise to hold as many factions as they want to. And communication is a key, if factions should return, they should do so by properly communicating their problems. I'm willing to really help anyone with that and work as their guide back to adapt. Just give the needs and we'll do our best. -

Yep, we're saying pretty much the same thing. Of course I do not mean that Legal Factions should have the full power to just do those things. Legal Factions however should be encouraged to chase down illegal entities. Build casefiles and once they feel it's ready to be executed, forward that casefile to a selective few Judges, who can be Faction Management members & interested players. A group of people, who will impartially take the decision whether the casefile is clean or not to be executed. If not, it should be pushed back and rejected IC by the DA. The casefile to be completed, must have the final signatures & approvals by: (From lower to higher) Lead Detective → Detective Unit Director → Sheriff / Chief of Police (Depending the agency) → DAs (IFC) & Governor of LS (A Lead Admin or a player who earned this spot) If one of them find something foul, casefile should undergo evaluation and go all over. What I state above, is a very simplified filter, to avoid all the problems you called out for. The point is to choose people who have no gain out of it, other than giving a clean answer. You cannot trust IFC at this point to take an impartial conclusion, with all due respect, but we're all human beings. Two out of the three IFC members are leaders of official illegal factions. I won't have spectre or Klag to evaluate the casefile I'll build on their faction. Imagine if you actually have cops on your ass - on a proper way. Imagine if you're scared to do reckless stuff and how many things will be fixed on our quality. Having competitive PD / SD Detective & Crime Suppression units brings competition with the illegal side. Competition brings commitment. Commitment brings quality. Quality brings better RP. Better RP brings a good community renewal. And I say again @Michael_Dippolito, we're saying the same thing, I do not contest your opinion. On the other hand, I appreciate that you brought it up so I can also clear up my side. I never meant that PD / SD should have the power on their own to shut down factions. But give them the opportunity to do something, and if the illegal faction is reckless enough or if the case is going for 2-3 years of constant updates, the legal faction to create suppressive stakeouts & takedowns. For example a business closure, a shotcaller arrest (if they have enough evidence) - which could also bring great prison RP as they should go there and run their group from the prison, a crew takedown etc etc. Imagine if you had to use realism to your actions, because there are repercussions if you're seen by a cop or a bystander who reports you to the Police. That will increase our quality & activity as a whole! @Beda What you stated is tackled by correct administration and transparency between teams. It also is fixed by both legal & illegal sides accepting an L. 🙂 -

I've read through the comments... Do you realize that all these rules just ruin the fun? You can avoid situations like D'Aquila if IFM properly goes through the acquired evidence. What are we? 10 year olds? Having cops actually being able to act on illegal factions, brings competition. Competition brings commitment and commitment brings activity and PB. I ran an illegal MC for 6 years. An official faction. And I had no pressure from cops at ALL. I could do anything I wanted, literally. No repercussions. That's what you want? I find it petty if you give me as an excuse that an incompetent IFM allowed some insufficient evidence to shut down D'Aquila as a reason that organized crime detectives can't build casefiles in 2024. -

That's a problem of how the server at some point became very sensitive on how they treat illegal factions & groups on the perspective of policing the server. When rules started coming out of "playing fair" and "giving the other side a chance", police RPers who used to RP in the Detective division, lost their motivation & their will to play. Why? Because everytime they managed to get themselves a nice case, with solid proof evidence of reckless gangs / LCNs / MCs, they'd be faced with the "OH GIVE THEM A CHANCE TO PLAY, NO NEED TO WIN EVERY SITUATION". That kicked a chain reaction. The chain reaction is that you have illegal factions literally sitting around with AKs & M4s, doing hits that make no sense - because they know there's no Detective to hunt them down and put them in prison / get them shut down, so basically there's no risk. LS-RP put things on auto pilot, trusting entirely that the illegal factions will act sensible and respect common sense. Why? Because the IFM back then was a circle jerk of illegal RPers who just wanted to protect their factions, fuel the server with countless weapons and protect their RP bubble. I believe this is not the case now in LS-RP, thus why I keep having faith in it. This is proven to be wrong. Illegal Factions are super reckless, they kill cops broad daylight, they perform bad deals & proceed with literally dealing large amounts of guns & drugs in Idlewood Pizza Stacks, leading to a more "cops and robbers" server, than a heavy RP server which criminals face the consequences of what they do wrong. Cops became incompetent and they are right now just a punching bag for criminals who roam around with M4s & AKs in cars 4-deep. How to fix the chain reaction? Give Detective Units the power to shut down factions again, using proper evidence & procedure. That will push illegal factions to deal smaller arms, carefully and precisely doing risky things out of the blue just to do it. That will push illegal factions to not sell to random trolls or casual DMers who most likely got cops on their asses, because if they're caught selling to them - they will be targeted by the respective Gangs or Organized Crime division, kickstarting a case which might lead to the closure of their faction. Have LSPD's Gangs unit doing Task Forces down on Idlewood / Jefferson / Ganton areas, suppressing the low-budget criminals who deal guns for 100k, which makes no sense at all. Meanwhile, create a team within LSRP's Staff, which should regulate roleplay quality, and monitor these interactions. Make cop RP competitive again. -

I have cleaned up some of the senseless comments. I really feel saddened that I see people from official factions are participating in these talks. This comes in addition to what Eren stated about warnings. FYI: Comments like these get threads like this one derailed & locked most of the times. Not staff that wants to censor you. -
The Neglect of Mapping for the Illegal Roleplay Community
JesterJr replied to Dinero.'s topic in General Discussions Archive
I remember before FBMC closed, meaning before Klag got to his position as he mentions, that IFC already approached us for mapping. We did forward a mapping request back then but went unnoticed. I'm pretty sure current IFC is active enough to follow up requests and get them done. I'd suggest factions to forward them. Look at what Barons got themselves into. Back in the day, you would NEVER get such thing for your faction (mind you, they were unofficial back then). And I'm pretty sure @drumj and people with his talent are up to help. He actually has helped me a few times with ideas about mapping and decorating. All you gotta do is ask nowadays, to be honest. But I really understand where this thread comes from since I'm too old in here to know how bad it was few years ago. -

I'll just put down my two cents when it comes to talking about staff members not replying to you the way you feel is just, remember that as you are grown man(mostly likely), there's also a grown man on the other side of the screen reading your comment. Maybe if your comment isn't hostile and given properly, you can get a proper answer back without making your discussion partner feel threatened. If your comment is "fix this cause it looks like shit", you will get a shitty reply back, and that's common sense IRL. If you are an adult as you state, I don't know how you expect someone to be so professional and well mannered for something they are not getting paid for. Hell, sometimes even when you're at work and someone talks to you shitty, you might reply back aggressively. Imagine for a gaming community. Each day isn't the same, someone might have a hard day at work and come back to do your mapping or scripting so they chill and get away from things. Imagine if that person comes on the forums after their work is shown to the community and the feedback is like the ones I read before, to a mapping that it reads with RED LETTERS on top that "It isn't final work". You really need to take a chill and think that someone, whoever that was, who took time from their day to make it - probably isn't in the mood to read your negative feedback in the way you state it, which is 80% of the times impolite and very harsh. I don't say that for something specific said over here right now, but I saw again the "some staff take things defensively". There's two sides of the coin, you just gotta put your ego away. And I hold Staff accountable for that too (including myself).
