We surveyed our newest players to try and find out how they came to know LS-RP, and why they joined. Almost every response was YouTube!
Many of our new players find out about us through the great Content Creators in our community, and it's time for us to give something back.
This content creator program is our first step towards building a proper relationship between LS-RP, and content creators. By joining this program you will receive various benefits to help you create better content and stand out in the community.
The Content Creator Program consists of 4 levels, the highest tier being an official LS-RP partner. Each level unlocks new benefits as our trust and relationship with you grows.
Upon joining the official Content Creator Program, you will immediately have access to level 1 perks.
To improve your content creator level, you must post content regularly, as well as keeping a good admin record. The LS-RP Content Creator management team will regularly view your content and consider you for a level increase.
The goal of this program is to bring new players to LS-RP, content that is likely to teach people about LS-RP will be favoured, although this doesn't stop other content benefiting your creator level.
Content Creator Levels & Benefits:
Level 1
✅ Content Creator role & name colour in the LS-RP Discord.
✅ Content Creator role, name colour, and banner on the LS-RP forums.
✅ Content Creator profile badge
✅ Crown Discord icon
Level 2
✅ Includes all of the above perks.
✅ Ability to submit content to be posted on the official LS-RP Instagram & TikTok.
✅ Ability to post in the LS-RP Content Creators discord channel.
✅ Access to the exclusive Content Creator's requests section - Allowing you to make unique requests directly to LS-RP staff specifically to help with your content creation ideas.
✅ Access to the Content Creator Bounties section - Where you will see a list of video bounties up for grabs, complete a bounty to earn credits.
✅ Access to direct communication with LS-RP staff to make custom requests that help with your content creation.
Level 3
✅ Includes all of the above perks.
✅ Unlimited FREE LS-RP Premium.
✅ Access to the LS-RP test server, you may record and showcase upcoming features to the community.
✅ Advanced knowledge of upcoming features.
✅ Access to any new insider programs.
Level 4 - Official LS-RP Partner
(This would be rare to hand out, only for those that clearly have very high quality engaging content with good views)
✅ Includes all of the above perks.
✅ Official LS-RP Content Partner role & name colour in the LS-RP Discord.
✅ Official LS-RP Content Partner role, name colour, and banner on the LS-RP forums.

How to Join the Program:
To join the program and instantly gain access to level 1 perks, you must have at least 3 LS-RP related videos posted on any platform that are of fair quality. You must also have a reasonable admin record, this will be judged at the discretion of the Content Creator Management Team.

I'm not getting involved with the drama posted here before me. My reply is to the topic's original title: "Can we bring back the old playerbase count?".
Do you remember when first joined LS-RP, reader? It was exciting being thrown into a world with loads of people living their own virtual lives, you were meeting new people, joining new groups, you were having fun and learning more about the community. Everything was new and you were impressed by the big factions and businesses.
We still get a lot of new players here, and this is still the experience that they have when they join the server for the first time.
I'm in the unique position to be running such a big company in game, I speak to a lot of new players, probably more than almost anybody in this community, my company receives about 3-5 applications a day, a majority of them being from new players. We give them a chance to learn how to rp and get to know them. I often ask these new players how they found out about LS-RP, what they like, what they don't like, and how they feel about things overall. I hear positive feedback from nearly 100% of the new players I speak to.
Unfortunately when asking old players the same questions you will receive negative feedback from most people. The new car smell has worn off.
My point in saying this is because one of my main goals as a new lead admin is to create a strategy to bring in new players and improve the player count.
New players that end up sticking around are generally some of the nicest and most motivated people that I get to talk to.
With the way things are setup right now, LS-RP is not user friendly for new people, we don't have an up to date tutorial, the news paper is gone, it's complicated for new people to join factions or jobs, the /help system is outdated, our website does not have a clear home page, etc etc. These are all things that will be worked on with urgency after the 14.0.0 update, which is coming very soon.
When asking new players how they found LS-RP, an overwhelming majority of them say that they found us via YouTube. With this information in hand, I have recently been in discussions with a couple of prominent content creators in our area of roleplay, such as Userone, in order to gain feedback on how we can work with them to make the content-creation experience better for those looking to do so in LS-RP. In the coming days we will be launching a content creator program where people can earn credits, additional support, and recognition for their videos from the staff team.
Making LS-RP user friendly to new people and creating a better platform for content creators, hopefully we can bring in new players and retain them, upping the overall player count. We also have plans to have our server back on the server browser.
You can also help with upping the player count by being more open to new players, you were a new player once and people probably helped you, you might even still remember those great people from back when you first joined. A lot of people are extremely dismissive to new players.

Thank you for being the best team imaginable. This wasn't just me, and I can't take the credit for it. Roze Enterprise was ultimately run by the community, for the community. Every person that has come through our doors over the past 7 years has impressed me, I have never seen a project like ours take off so well, and do so much. I have even gotten messages from people who have joined other rp servers, just to tell me that they have copied our model because it works so well.
I wish there was something I could do to give back to everyone who put in so much effort, you all are the real winners ❤️
