  1. Most likely fake. The only real leak that is confirmed to be real were those leaked development footage videos.
  2. I have to say, I gained a lot more confidence after the meeting today. Some really good ideas where thrown around to attempt to solve this issue and I like it. Keep it up!
  3. I appreciate this! This is why I said what I said above. It's not to complain or rant, but rather to give feedback that I know you guys are looking for. I'm aware that this is just the start and I have no doubt things will improve. Over the years I have been involved in a few RP server startups and its important to get the first impression to a newcoming player just right so that they will stick around and tell their friends to participate. After all, recommendations from people you know is the best form of advertising. As I've mentioned on another thread. The server itself works really well and the script is really stable surprisingly so I'm really excited on what's to come.
  4. I agree with this thread. There's a difference between realism and a system that is fun and works on an rp server. If we want realism let's remove all the benefits rp servers have. If your character dies it will be an automated CK. Got injured or shot? Let's charge the player 250k and have it be in debt for eternity. It just doesn't work. Last night during the community the following was said: "We don't want to make it feel like you have to grind 7 hours to afford a basic car" "We want the economy to be as realistic as possible" First of all, there IS no economy right now. People literally have to grind 7 hours to be able to afford rent. This is supposed to be an rp server but I fail to find the rp aspect in having to grind a scripted job. It literally pays more to just afk somewhere and farm the hourly benefit paychecks. New players should be provided with some basic assets so that they're able to start RPing. 5k should be a fair enough start for rent and a down payment for a car or to be able to rent a car for some time. Last night it was also mentioned that the scripted jobs will be busy and overloaded during the first weeks of the server's opening. The reaction for that was that players will just "have to wait longer to be able to do a scripted job". Where is the fun in that and I really fail to see where the support for new players is coming from. It just doesn't motivate new players from sticking araround. Theres no rp to be found if we are forced to just grind a scripted job.
  5. I've played around for a bit and here are my thoughts. - The script works great. The phone is well done ans so are the rest of the features. It's stable and gives me trust that it will be capable for lots more to come. Even the job missions are well done and thought out. - I'd be nice to spawn back at the same location I left at. Saves us from having to run back to the place we were. - The wage/payment system is honestly a big joke. Around $200 per paycheck as a beginner and don't even get me started on the jobs. I've done trucking and mowing and both deliver between $5 and $30 per completed job. Mind you that it takes a bit of effort and time to finish a job. How are people supposed to be able to afford a vehicle, housing and some other items with wages from 1899? Players will be forced to grind, grind and grind their way up to a basic scooter or bicycle. It honestly demoted me to even log back on. The $500 you have to invest in a commercial license is a big waste because it does not earn that much more than the mowing job does. All of my starter money was wasted after trying to get sorted at the DMV so I'm left with nothing. - Vehicle pricing. Some vehicles have weird pricing. The Carbonizarre is around 20K but a Stinger GT is 20 mil?
  6. The DMV test definitely needs a revamp. It feels like it's written by someone who actually never has driven a car irl. It also confuses me sometimes because I'm not from the US. Make the knowledge available on the wiki or some other place. It just feels like a big moneypit right now and definitely takes a way any of the fun having to do it over and over.
