  3. We strive to bring realistic gang role-play and portrayal of the "Lime Hood Pirus", within the San Andreas borders, both aesthetically and lore wise. If you're interested, PM me.
  4. The Lime Hood Piru is a street gang that originated in the city of Los Santos, San Andreas, with its roots tracing back to the late 1980s or early 1990s. Like many other Piru sets, the gang takes its name from a street within its neighborhood—Lime Street—which runs through East Ganton. The Lime Hood Piru is one of several Piru sets that make up a broader alliance within the Bloods gang structure, which itself was originally formed in the early 1970s as a unified front against the rising dominance of Crip gangs in Los Santos County. Lime Hood established its territory in East Ganton, covering the area between Grove Street and Ganton Boulevard, and stretching from Atlantic Avenue to Gibson Avenue. This part of Ganton has long been a contested and highly active gang zone. While the Lime Hood Piru have a solid presence there, they also share some of that turf with rival gangs like Ganton Varrio 70’s, which has historically led to ongoing conflicts. Culturally, Lime Hood is distinct from some of the other Piru sets due to its embrace of the color green, a nod to the "Lime" in their name. While the traditional Piru and Bloods color is burgundy or red, Lime Hood members are also known to wear green as a symbolic identifier. This unique detail has made the gang stand out both within Ganton and in the wider network of Piru affiliates. Over the years, the Lime Hood Piru have built relationships with other Piru sets, including Mob Piru, Cross Atlantic Piru, Lueders Park Piru, and Holly Hood Piru. These alliances have helped them maintain influence despite fluctuating membership numbers. However, Lime Hood Piru has also developed a long list of enemies, particularly among the Crips. They have been involved in deadly rivalries with Duccy Hood Crips, Ward Lane Crips, Kelly Park Ganton Crips, South Side Ganton Crips, Atlantic Drive Crips, and Neighborhood Ganton Crips. On top of that, they have also faced tension from Mexican-American gangs in the area, including Ganton Varrio Chicano and Varrio Locos 13. The gang is also notable for its inclusion of Samoan members, which is relatively uncommon among South Los Angeles-based sets. These Samoan members, sometimes referred to by nicknames such as “Samoan Sam” or “Pineapple,” have played a significant role in the identity and structure of the Lime Hood Piru over the years. Although the gang's numbers are reported to have diminished over time, particularly in the 2010s and beyond, Lime Hood Piru continues to maintain a presence in East Ganton. The set is a reflection of how Ganton's gang landscape evolved from the early Piru Street Boys of the 1970s into a complex network of allied and rival factions. The Lime Hood Piru, like many other sets, has both shaped and been shaped by the violent social dynamics of Ganton's streets over the last three decades.
