Hey all, long time no speak. I used to play on LS:RP from ~2011-2016, got to IG Lead Admin, LT-II in PD, made lots of friends and memories here. I was actually introduced to LS:RP by my IRL school friend @Cashew. Unfortunately, last weekend, Cashew, or Callum, passed away suddenly. I'm happy to provide proof of this to any admin over DM's. Cashew joined LS:RP way back, likely 15+ years ago. As seen by his YouTube https://www.youtube.com/@CashewLSRP, he had a pretty good run with multiple different characters. I personally remember joining him during the Glen Park Crips era, before following him into DoC when he RP'd as Amy Johnston. We also joined up with DaMaZ, Drilla, and others to make some other gangs through different eras of LS:RP. Cashew finally found his place RPing in SD as Robert Sampson or racing through the streets of LS as Wang Chui. I left LS:RP in late 2016, but Cashew did continue, and it seems he made some good friends here through his time as a tester, admin and developer. He always spoke so highly of the server and community, and contributed so much of his time and effort into LS:RP, so its only right that I share the news in the hopes that maybe some of his current friends are informed and are not kept in the dark. If you have any fond memories of Cashew, or just want to pay respects, feel free to drop a message here and if I have the opportunity in the future, I'll share it with his family. He left behind a fiancé, and young son. RIP Brother.

Moving on forward, we closed the SA-MP server a couple months ago, and we've moved on, I would like the Management team to be transparent & talk to us about their plans with the RAGEMP server. I.e how will they plan on advertising, what are the plans to bring players to the server? The current state of the server player wise, is without a doubt more or less in the most respectful way, worse than what we had on SA-MP. Comment your thoughts, opinions, suggestions and please be respectful. Thanks.

No bashing, just my opinion! Staff fumbled this from the jump imho. This is what they did wrong according to me and some of my friends. 1) Instead of "we're opening the server in "February" " management should've came out loud and clear with a date. You have no idea how many friends of mine did not know about the opening date. Because you can simply not revive a PB with guesswork, you do it with CLEAR direction and incentives. If we knew that the date would be 28th of February, I would have reached out to more friends and have them join the server. 2) About the illegal scene and IFM : Realistically, when you have something like 25 factions in the server, 12 gun schemes, 13 drug schemes, the applications should have been opened, some sort of guaranteed placement during this period. Should've given people reason to actually log in and build something, everyone should've gotten a foothold first, then tighten the rules after After all that, yes, you're more than welcome to enforce full formalities and standards, but atleast you have kickstarted activity instead of suffocating it, right now there is no push and no reward, no clear structure, just a server expecting RP to magically appear, unfortunately that is not how it works, but hopefully it is not too late and the staff reflects.

I would not be surprised if IFM/management close our thread and delete our post because we gave a dissenting opinion on the state of this server. I’ll leave that to them to make that decision. Those who witnessed the madness of a corrupt IFM and lackluster management team have seen why this server failed the first time, and why history will most likely repeat itself. When you ignore your players, choose favoritism over valued service and feedback, and attempt to compensate for lack of leadership and a path forward with delayed responses, no care for solutions to fix the state of your server and this absolutely ignorant mindset that LSRP will hold itself together and thrive simply because of the brand and it’s reputation (or lack thereof nowadays), this is what you will get. Feel free to close this thread. To those who rocked with us, I salute you. To my faction members, you guys made it worth it for me. They never deserved us anyways.

I'm at a loss for words. Me and Cashew joined PD together at the start of 2020 and that was my first LEO roleplay experience and he made it fun for me from when we patrolled together. I'm genuinely sad now that I received the news of his passing because I had a lot of fun with this dude. Oh my gosh. This news was so unexpected. My condolences to all of his friends, his beautiful fiancée, and handsome little man. We have shared a lot of memories together, some good and bad but overall, he was a good person. We were just talking the other day. 😭 I remember when we first started talking and he showed me pictures of the engagement ring for his fiancée. And when he'd update me about his son, then he'd ask me for updates once I gave birth to one of my own. Oh man. 🙁 May he rest in peace.
