• Reviewing the Driving Test. The amount of players that have complained about the driving test was pretty big when the server first launched.   • Q. Seek individuals with social networks outside LSRP to diversify the player base.

  • Q. Temporarily alter rules (i.e lower the robbery level to encourage roleplay.)

• What Can Be Repaired:

  • Q. Encourage players to bring new faces to the server to combat clan warfare ideology.

  • Q. Address the decline of the Western player base and its impact on server standards.

  • Q. Promote character-driven conflicts over OOC disputes and improve combat roleplay.

• Random Thoughts:

  • Q. Despite features, there's enough to enjoy on the server.

A social media can definitely help. I think there was some incident where the developers who made it leaked/stalked OOC females using the data they collected due to which ls-rp management isn't accepting any 3rd party devs anymore to do similar things. Yes and no.

 

 There isn't an over abundance of bar. The bars that are open regularly are Pitstop, Hangman's pub, Tavern, recently Corner. That's it.

Where are  you going to  earn the money to rotate them if they are not going to come from the business? Without businesses, we will be reverting back to grinding to earn money to afford a gun where now you can simply RP a waiter or something and earn the money while having fun. The entry fee has been revolutionary in that aspect, it has stopped the server from being grindy and become RP focused. Also, I've never seen someone "simply sitting" to earn money. They have been RPing earing the money and have been justly rewarded. 

 

Having said that, what I will agree with is that the entry fees need to be re-looked into it. People are being paid way too much and it's the sole reason for fucking up the economy already.

You do have a point, however, other factors were key in people deciding to stop playing on the server. I’m all for bringing back the players that left rather than having to educate new players on how the system works with a text heavy roleplay game. I simply don’t see other people taking a liking to this specific genre of gameplay. There’s only a handful of people who enjoy servers like these, and they’ve either quit, gone inactive, or hopped onto other games/servers.

gta rp is bigger than its ever been man people didnt outgrow the game they outgrew lsrp lol. i mean look at management theyve pretty much abandoned the project after a few setbacks. the only reasonable way i see this server succeeding is if they take it down and add some grandiose wow factor feature that actually separates it from gtaw 

 

sad coz the scripts they have now are of such high quality

GTA 5 is stopping me from logging in, the character mechanics are garbage, the fist fights are absolute trash, the shootouts; kind of decent, but still trash. 

The amount of rubber banding police officers have in chase, the FIELD OF VIEW is GARBAGE even at MAX SETTINGS. The only reason GTAW exists is because of the vast amount of ERP that goes on there; we obviously play LSRP for the gangs, police and passive city roleplay, GTAW doesn't really have any of that.

 

Return to SAMP, there are countless videos that just show; so much more fun in gameplay than GTA5 RP ever will.

Are the LS-RP golden days over? Are players over with roleplaying in general? Still not sure. I'm faithful though.

i believe the new generation is up for more arcade fun so to be precisely more killing, more shooting
this should not become a dm fest honestly this is what many people enjoy

I really doubt the new generation would not enjoy LSRP. I feel like if it's done right it should be more appealing than any other GTA V server especially to young people. GTA V Roleplay has a lot of potential in terms of what roleplay it allows. What needs to be done I am less qualified to say.

Also this does not have to become a dm fest or lose it's core for it to be great.
