    Roleplay Summary — It's late at night and Melanie planned to smoke before bed, but the munchies took over and delayed her from going to sleep. Luckily a local spot called La Taqueria is still open for a little while. She quickly gets dressed and steps out, choosing not to take the main road since there are rumors about 38ST getting into it with a rival gang. She would rather not walk into anything by accident, even though she isn’t involved. Gangway / Local Food / Abuela’s Protection. Murals / The Daughters of Aztlán. Next Day / Leño Smoking. Being Pressured / Going Back Home.

    Recruitment for the faction is done in-character, and you will be expected to follow the server rules while associating yourself with our image. Be respectful to those around you and dedicate yourself to your characters development within the faction. The aim of 38th Street is to create a realistic sureño environment in El Corona.     Hard to talk without examples but I generally don't agree. Doing illegal exchanges in your own business is better, and certainly more realistic than the Breaking Bad-style deals where people meet in the middle of nowhere to pass a bag. If law enforcement factions were to start surveillance on those (apparently not hard to find) criminal hotspots, you'd see them shut down quick - an IC risk that people take in exchange for the comfort of dealing in familiar territory. It's not an issue of realism, rather a lack of LEO commitment to deal with a growing IC problem. As for the original post, business roleplay has tanked alongside the recent dip in playerbase. A real shame, but one thing I'm happy about is that there isn't a behemoth like ROZE staffing themselves with every john and jane while not allowing any other company to grow.
