Does the game make a difference between an apartment and house? Like if I own an apartment inside a complex, do I still get the penalty when buying a house?
-
How does owning multiple properties work again? With the second property market price multiplying or something.

I agree with this. Now I understand that some people supposedly have lives outside of this game. I appreciate that there’s people who volunteered to do staff work during their free time without getting anything in return. However, for a server that is actively trying to be an alternative and retain players, I think that we could definitely improve this aspect. The forum paperwork, whether it’s business or faction related, deserves more attention. 72h in my opinion, is an acceptable delay to deal with any application, especially since we’re in the early stages of the server. I’ve had applications taking over a week to get just get a yes or a no. I know that staff analyze and talk over applications to share input, but the reality is that there are players and factions who end up being penalized. Some players are going to go somewhere else if they are not provided with activity whether it’s business openings, company apps or anything drug/weapon related for the illegal side of the server. I remember how W:LC went from 500 players to dying because of lack of player-owned businesses or an illegal trade market. We can only do passive roleplay so much. At some point, most players will get bored, especially with this new generation affected by short-span attention. Once you bring interest into new players, everything has to be made to retain some as much as possible. Give them activity and things to do so they don’t go back to where they came from. Mapping is also another issue that can affect any server. A lot of players have great ideas but struggle to either find a mapper or pay for them. We all know nobody takes a business with a SA default interior seriously. I suggested that we implement a company-based paycheck system for employees, where players can get paid a certain amount per week, after 15-20 hours of activity. This system works on the other server and I believe this can majorly boost legal/civilian roleplay. We can’t all be criminals, there must be regular people as well to have a proper balance. Ex. terrorized people who will spend in security to be safe. @Mmartin

Elevating the LS-RP GTA V Experience
TheCed replied to For All The Dogs's topic in General Discussions
LS-RP:V has potential to be the top server on RAGE only if established SA-MP players are allowed to bring some of their assets to RAGE. Something else that is controversial but that I explained with more details here; would be allowing players from the other server, who might be looking for an alternative, to bring some of their assets to LS-RP:V as well. In my opinion, those are the only ways that LS-RP:V can become real competition and a proper alternative. The map is the same and nobody wants to grind and farm jobs again. Money ends up becoming an OOC currency that'll only allow you to invest in businesses to provide the community with more roleplay opportunities, and your personal assets. -
Personally, it's been tough for me to find a proper interior designer.

Doesn't seem to work anymore. The link mentioned doesn't exist in the website.

@Mmartin I appreciate that you and the other members of the staff listen to community, and that things are seemingly going in the right direction. I trust that the decision you’ll take, will be in the interest of the players and the server environment, hoping it will only lead to a healthier and funnier experience.

I gotta thank staff for reacting quickly to player demands when it comes to this subject. This is a first step.

I completely agree with the concerns raised. The influx of players who don't take the server seriously is very noticeable, and the most definitely come from the other RAGE server just to cause chaos. I've been robbed twice in just three days. It's become nearly impossible to roleplay outdoors because some players are simply looking for action. It seems like many of these players don't even roleplay the preparation for the robbery—they're likely coordinating on Discord, which breaks immersion. The rewards for these robberies are minimal, usually just 5k and the chance to find drugs or weapons. It feels like the primary motivation is to humiliate other players out of boredom. Carrying a gun has become pointless because you can't use it if someone already has a gun on you, and you'll get ajailed for failing to roleplay fear properly. Some players are just here to cause chaos and bring toxicity, starting conflicts and then reporting you if they start losing. They even take the time to upload videos just to win reports. The level of toxicity now is far worse than it was on LS-RP back in the day, which used to be a lot more fun. While the /rob command is a good idea, I think requiring admin approval for a robbery could be even more effective. Players would need to show that they have properly prepared for the robbery, with a 24-hour cooldown to prevent spree robbing. No one in real life would go on a robbing spree like that due to the high risks involved. Most robberies happen at night in rough areas. I lived in Guatemala, and I never heard of robberies happening in crowded commercial areas—most occur at night in residential areas, particularly low income ones. Expanding "safe zones" could also help. Limiting robberies to the southern part of Los Santos could emphasize the dangers of gang activity and living in rough areas. Implementing a 24-hour cooldown on robberies would ensure it doesn't turn into a robbery fest. This approach would add realism to the server and improve the overall roleplaying experience.
