For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?

Upon recent years the San Andreas law enforcement agencies both city and state wide have been made aware of the presence of organized crime within their borders. Both old and new organizations have come forth and others trickled from existence into obscurity; from hood and varrio street gangs, to paramilitary mobs, all the way to police ran criminal entities have leveled their streets with violence, crime and corruption alike. In 2016, the influence of America's now defunct Italian American criminal society dubbed by the US government as "The American Mafia" seemed to be on it's dying breaths after the rigorous crusade against criminal organizations nationwide. While it is no secret that the once powerful "Cosa Nostra" is on it's last legs even to this day, city officials continue to acknowledge it's presence. In the City of Los Santos, LSPD Vice Division officer Dominic McClane was murdered in a hail of bullets by what witnesses say were two members of the Sinaloa Cartel. Only a very peculiar fact stood out after they publicized the officer's murder. Officer Dominic McClane was not investigating the Sinaloa Cartel in Los Santos. McClane was assigned to a very recent organization made in connection to the Genovese Crime Family in Liberty City. This organization arose after the release of an old "Soldier" said to be related to the upper echilon of the Genovese Crime family's alleged ranks. Arnold Bellomo, a Bronx native and a convicted felon from the Eastern Seaboard region had been released from Liberty State Correctional in 2014. His crimes were violent, his sentence was long and his reputation was maintained through the government's several failed attempts to get him to turn statements against his co-conspirators. LCPD detectives have described Bellomo as a thug and a brute before and after his seventeen year stint in Liberty State Penitentiary. They have said that he is an unreasonable, irrational, and unconventional criminal in comparison to mobsters before his time and even in his own time. They have suggested that the active members of the Genovese Crime Family only respected him for not being an informant, and having a reputation for being fanatically loyal to his mentor "Gene" Borsellino, who had a stellar reputation for being a great earner, even from behind bars. Borsellino was given life in prison for his involvement in a street war between crews in the 1970's, where it is said, that Bellomo was his most useful and most ruthless enforcer. As one might assume the Genovese Crime Family moved on without Borsellino and Bellomo. Once he was released from Liberty State in 2014, Bellomo was sent out to the West Coast by his superiors. It is claimed that they gave him the blessing to start his own family in order to establish business between the two coasts, but most informants and law enforcement officials say "they just wanted to distance themselves from him." As his release became public and his migration to the West Coast raised some eyebrows in the law enforcement community, investigations began immediately. In a press conference by the LSPD's commissioner in 2014, he made a public statement in regards to Bellomo and his newly forming group of associates without mentioning him by name or implying direct involvement in criminal activity. After the distamantling of the longstanding Valenti family's administration, the commissioner said: "Just because we put one group out of commission for now doesn't mean there's no more of these guys walking around. We know these guys are out there, we see them coming from all over; Vice City, Liberty City, but we're not done here. Our work is not done. We're not dealing with the Genovese Crime Family or the Valenti Crime Family, who at least had the common decency to operate in the shadows, we're dealing with a completely different animal and we need not remind them what happens to soulless, remorseless criminals who terrorize our cities and corrupt our judicial processes. You will not oppress this city the way you've oppressed the cities on the Eastern Seaboard, and if any one of you are watching this press conference right now, consider yourselves on notice." As the Bellomo Crime Family quickly rose in the face of law enforcement , their involvement in the gun trade, the drug trade, and a plethora of other rackets had become solidified irreparably. Their reputation for quick violence under Bellomo's leadership had become synonymous with unlawfulness, immorality, and barbarism. Names like Aroldo Bianco, Vincent Cassesso and Walter Funicello have become a staple in the underground criminal world in association with the organization. Upon a number of unnecessary murders, the Bellomo Crime Family's two year reign was brought to an abrupt halt by the Vice Division of the LSPD after the murder of Dominic McClane, nearly destroying the organization. Many of Bellomo's criminal associates had been arrested and presented charges with violations of the RICO act in connection with Arnold Bellomo, though most cases were dropped through lack of evidence. The investingation towards McClanes death has not uncovered evidence to connecting Arnold's involvement in the brazen murder are in fact still underway he remains on the lam. In just two short years Bellomo had managed to terrorize Los Santos to a point where the LSPD had to make an example out of him. McClane was not investigating the Sinaloa Cartel, but he became well aware of Bellomo's personal connection with them the moment they approached him to meet his demise on the street in broad daylight. His partner survived with critical wounds. While this was not done by his men, this had Arnold Bellomo written all over it. Not a shock to law enforcement officials for his actions but to consider the audacity of one man. From actions taken by the LSPD the Bellomo Crime family's administration ,post McClane, younger generations have developed through the ranks. Bellomo’s organization stands among a number of other rivaling families in Los Santos; the D'Aquila Crime Family, the Bellantonio Crime Family, and the Valenti Crime Family. After establishing their presence in the city they have remained active throughout the State during last decade. Bellomo is nowhere to be found within the abilities of the local law enforcement agencies. He remains on the lam and believed to be in a nursing home under a false name near Lake Tahoe. Federal law enforcement are currently working on an operation to detain the now ailing seventy year old menace and they do not plan on cutting him any slack for his personal endeavors. Informants say that a deterioration in health has effected his ability to function in any coherent manner let alone continuing to serve as a Patriarch to the family due to health and age complications. His senior administration have taken a less hostile approach towards the organizations future practices. Bellomo himself is done in Los Santos but his members still maintain active operations within the confines of the city, tight lipped about their connection with Bellomo and his successors. With new names on the bulliten board and Arnold Bellomo crumpled into obscuirty by pressure of law enforcement, members who have been labelled in association with the Bellomo circle are said to have went more corporate. Bellomo's era was the very last of a violent wave of Los Santos mobsters, promised the LSPD. Bellomo came in, cracked heads with his people, and his successors have been reportedly ordering their men to calm down and abandon the violent ways that the family had become infamous for in two short years. However, a recent civil war within their ranks had taken place between two known and active crews. Recently promoted captain, Donald Vigioletti, had expressed his disdain for the new leadership with Bellomo gone made the attempt to shift power by eliminating the only other standing crew in 2023. Dean Cracchiolo, Bellomo family loyalist and protige of Jonathan Accardo, had taken action against the Viglioletti crew after losing one of his trusted associates. Having presented the perceived threat towards his crew Cracchiolo was ordered to stand down upon his accusations without proof. After spotting four members of the Viglioletti crew outside of one of his businesses that was recently vandalized he had received the green light to kidnap a sponsored associate with Viglioletti, Charles Boscolo. Upon learning of their plans, Dean had received the blessing from the current Boss to eliminate the Viglioletti crew. Rumors say that the Serbian Paramilitary Group "Zivanovic Grupa" are responsible for a triple murder against Cracchiolo's rivals within the Bellomo ranks, as the Cracchiolo crew remains responsible for the murder of two Viglioletti defectors. Donald Viglioletti and his only man left, Raymond Basso, have been said to have fled the city because of the internal conflict and have lost their stripes as a result. They are no longer recognized as valid members of LCN. Through his actions in protecting the organization Cracchiolo is now suspected to be within the upper echelon of the Bellomo organization under the new administration with sightings of other up and comers such as Jack Marrese. Wiretaps have picked him up saying to an unknown assailant "No more of this shit, ever again. Anyone ever opens their mouth the way they did, you handle it and you handle it quietly before its too late." The Bellomo family has reforged their ranks and are continuing their operations; expanding to regain their power vaccum. The existing members between the senior administration and newcomers have brought together a newly solidified comradery for the sake of continuity and heightened business etiquette for modern times. The current families spread across the nation still give merit to the Bellomo Family's legitimacy.
