Force CKs when people have a pay2win mentality, in terms of prison sentences, it's upto the people if they want to do a long stretch or not. Forcing it won't improve the quality of the roleplay, if anything it'll decrease it.

I'm against forced CK's because not everyone has a /good/ reason to kill to begin with and a lot of times it can be considered petty which would cause a lot of arguments and reports and this would only benefit toxic "dmers" that would purposely find reasons to gun you down just to ruin your character. I think the CK rules should be the same from LSRP SAMP, CK's can be enforced through factions etc as long as all members agree and understand the agreement of possibly being ck'd at any given time and that it's a risk while running with that certain faction before participating.

I'm against players being forced to stay in-game for their prison sentences, mind you while in-game your prison sentence should go faster 2x or something that way players are still motivated to role-play in prison and are "rewarded" for rping in-game for a faster release.

For example a 10 hour prison sentence will go 1/2 speed while offline therefore lowering your sentence just at a slower pace, but if you are online during your prison sentence it'll speed up it's process at a normal hourly rate for motivation to keep playing during that period.

I think currently GTAW finds itself in the shoes LSRP were once in. By that I mean that they have a monopoly over the genre simply because there is no alternative, similarly to our community on SA:MP. Players stuck around because there was nowhere else to go. On GTAW what you've got is a server and community tailored around legal roleplayers, ran by legal roleplayers and heavily influenced by legal roleplayers. One sticking point that comes up time and time again is their IFM's lack of engagement, transparency and knowledge and this is the driving force behind the bulk of our roleplayers leaving their server. Now, a lot of people use this a basis to promote their roleplay but the fact of the matter is that it's the truth, their lack of regard for their illegal community is what will offer LSRP a way in.

Over the course of the last few months it's been more evident than ever and their management's obliviousness to the fact is what adds insult to injury. For this server to hit the ground running what you have to do is capitalize on the shortcomings of the aforementioned server and strike while the iron's hot. Transparency will be a key factor in attracting these players. Deliverance will be what keeps them and the expectations and promises need to be fulfilled in order for this to come to fruition at all. Illegal roleplay shouldn't be prioritized by any means but it should be treated with the same amount of respect as legal roleplay and given the same opportunity of prosperity. Illegal roleplay has always been the foundation of LSRP but what made LSRP so consistent was its honesty, its openness and its lucidity. Transparency was always there one way or another.

One look at their faction's forum and you realize that their faction management team are driving people into LSRP's arms and for years it's gone unnoticed and unaddressed because their has been no alternative. You can forget about servers like LCRP making a wave because they're not battled tested like LSRP is and don't have the following LSRP do, coupled with the fact that their management are as corrupt as the day is long. All these make-shift beliefs and idealisms are used to lure people in but it's nothing more than a false pretense and a power grab. In other words, in certain communities if you don't agree with somebody's modus operandi, they will find a way to ban you, silence you or misinterpret you. On LSRP I believe that the number one priority should be to put the power in the player's hands. For this to overtake its competitors and scratch the surface it's got to recognize the flaws of communities that don't work.

LSRP is genuinely the last hope for those interested in illegal roleplay. We need to do as much as we can to emphasize that and promote the fact that the community and management are receptive to that or we're back to square one. It's in all of our interests if we're on the same wave length.

All old community politics should be disregarded and the slate should be wiped clean. This will only work if we're all on the same page.

    Make LSRP great again.

I agree with all of this honestly and I've had direct experience with their management and it was unreal, they bashed LSRP every chance they got when fighting with me so it's great you made this post because it's true. Overall I have really high hopes for LSRP V, I'm sure it's going to be really good for illegal and legal players to enjoy and my experience from LSRP from 2014 until 2020 or so was amazing, I loved it.

  4. I support custom hoods or overhauls to make it more trashy or making it look better in general for basic RP. I liked the: " New Grove Street Hood " video for example, I think something like that would be nice, but even nice little touch-ups would be good to include like little hangout corners with ghetto couches, tables with alcohol on it and a little fire bin. Little pieces of furniture spread around like that for hangout spots would be a nice touch in my opinion.

  5. I'm against this mostly as it'd just feel like a chore especially when owning multiple vehicles and having to run to a garage every so often. Imagine having like 500 to 1,000 players experiencing this. The garages would be constantly full, players would have to wait in line and depending on the script the mechanic shop would need to have employees running it to do upgrades for vehicles etc, elsewise you're screwed and if they are open then you'd wait 30minutes to an hour for it to be finished.  So if you're playing during a horrible timezone and there's no mechanic shops open well then I guess you're screwed. But who knows how mechanic shops will operate to begin with at server launch.

    - Multiple vehicles = Multiple fixes every so often

    - Line ups since every player from ( 500 - 1000 ) would be experiencing this.

    - No mechanics, no service. Not playing in a good timezone? Well too bad. (Depends on server script, not sure how it'll work.)

    - You have to get a ride from the mechanic shop and then have to go pick it up. (Multiple cars, or well players from 500 to 1000 doing this each time. )

I'm okay with a simple oil change though, but it should take months. It shouldn't be a huge hassle/annoyance for the player and that's all I'm saying. And if any of this does get implemented make sure there's plenty of mechanic shops to handle these type of requests because in a game it's very limited, it might even be a chore to find a mechanic shop to begin with, we'll have to see. And also, without any of this I think mechanic shops are going to be crazy busy as everyone will always be buying new cars and upgrading them, you probably won't even need any of this. You'd do something like this if you had no business or people coming in to make rp. I think it'll be too much to chew at once. You'll need a bunch of auto shops.

I'm not here to play mechanic simulator, but if the service is fluent and can be properly handled then sure.

  6. Having a real stock market script would simply be too complex for an RP server compared to the real world in my opinion. Essentially how the stock market/investing in a company worked on samp was you'd simply loan money out to an individual who owned something of value and provided money/profits who would then pay you a percentage of your investment value of the total worth of their business. About 80 to 90 percent of the time you were getting scammed/robbed when attempting to do this sort of RP and if you ever actually made any money out of your investments, it was rather easy for manipulation. There's no real solid way to keep track of what is bought for what money and what is sold for what money, it's way to easy to screw investors.  And also, the company could just claim bankruptcy and well all the investors would lose their investments and start a new business. You'd need a solid court system to handle requests and defend contracts etc, it's as easy as a name change.

But maybe there's a way you can make a stock market with company related businesses, just giving my opinion. I'm all in for new concepts and scripts that make the server unique for sure.

  7. This already existed on LSRP for samp, you had to apply for a company and then the administration would set you up with company vehicles and everything else that made sense for your specific company. If you look on discord for LSRP, you can see an image in the snippets section that relates to employee payments. Mind you it'd be nice if they made an easier system for company owners to manage their vehicles etc, which I think they are already trying to do with GTA V such as "Employee of the month" which will be great!

  8. It doesn't matter that DE looks bad or whatever, the system would still be somewhat the same in terms of skins and limitations. GTA 5 allows for customization of characters and skin usage which is well, 100 times better then what DE would be able to ever offer to players. If GTA 5 didn't exist and this was released then yes, it would've been amazing but it's no match to GTA 5 and the opportunities it gives to players and development teams.

Pretty sure the rules we had regarding that on SAMP will carry over to this version, meaning Covid isn't a existing thing and cannot be roleplayed whatsoever.

Ya, that's a good thing in my opinion! I'm fine with real-life events to an extent. But Covid-19 was a little extreme to bring in game and well everyone was and is still getting effected by it everyday in terms of work, normal life, listening to it on the news 24/7 etc. The last thing we need is to hear it in game as well when we're just trying to play and then being forced into it to " wear masks ic " etc. The George Floyd issue mentioned in the above comments is fine for example, because you weren't necessarily affected icly by the situation if you didn't want to participate in it with the riots etc, but to RP a lockdown during a lockdown or something is ridiculous in my opinion as you're most likely trying to get away from that situation irl, hence playing a game. LSRP isn't supposed to drag worldwide panic like covid stress in game with you lol, a lot of people play to avoid irl issues I'm sure.

Now regarding like "end of the world" type scenario's, made up ones like the meteor "disaster" from 2014 was okay and more so for memories like when everyone hid inside the tunnel in SF for safety. It was creative, mapping was done to show roads were broken etc. It was something neat and we got to see it once which was worth it and it lasted like a day or so. It was more of a fun event for everyone to enjoy, something different.

just put them in your signature like everyone has for the past 10 years?

I was aiming for more of a dedicated spot for additional information on player profiles for when someone views them rather then spamming them just in your signature. Was just a suggestion though.

What about High Schools? Like 2013 Samp LSRP.  It will attract a lot of people.

I remember being let into the high-school and shown around before it ever even opened. I forget which administrator created it but credits to them of course. But it was really neat and the aspect of it seemed fun for people to experience but over-all it didn't last very long. I'm sure a high-school could be done way better in GTA V with what it has to offer to the development team and that this should be attempted once again for players to experience. I'm very fond of all sorts of role-play and it's what makes role-play fun!

  13. I think it'd be neat to have a certain area for character stories and having it linked to your profile on the forums. When someone views your profile, people should be able to easily view the characters you have and what they might be about, listed along the side of your profile kind of like the (About) ( Follower ) boxes on the side of your profile, but one separately for character selection to read about if wanted.

OR have a box where we can separately add our own links inside of the box for people to select from, which you have interest in or shares information related to your character from other posts/topics like SAN NEWS writing an article about your character or something ic, perhaps you'd link that on your profile page?

    I don't know, just an idea. ❤️

  14. I'd love to see wild-life on the server, including pets like cats & dogs.

I wouldn't mind it being behind a ONE TIME payment, not a monthly payment. If I could dish out $15 to keep my poodle forever, then well I'd be happy with that. That way the server gets supported and I can keep my puppy or kitten.

Also, I'd be fine with each animal being sold separately which then would be added to your account or character. So I could spend $15 for a poodle, $15 for a bulldog and $15 for a kitty. That's $45 for you to keep 3 different animals permanently on your account. That's a great way to handle pets in my opinion and the server could add more pets with server mods.

It would make no sense for your pets to randomly disappear because you didn't pay ooc money for one month and would disrupt RP because of money paywalls.
