Anthony Solari's gone Benjamin Button on the Butcher's vampire blood

My point was that EHC set a high standard that most other gang factions do not adhere to. Law enforcement factions have always responded to the present standard of illegal RP and the reason EHC and the few other respectable gang factions are being crushed under their heavy hand is because most of them can't behave. When DTOs were huge on the server, we had Gang and Narcotics roleplaying and interacting with that aspect of criminality. When we had several huge crime families on the server, we had detective bureaus working around the clock to provide a realistic counter. Now we have spastics spawning in with M4s and rolling through Idlewood four deep with the sole purpose of putting somebody on a t-shirt. The policing standards adapted accordingly.

How dare law enforcement officers enforce the law. There are some legitimate concerns but the contrast between the high quality gang factions like EHC (which has several prominent and long-term IFT members in it) and the lower quality factions (calling out being shot for posing a threat to the public as unfair) is maddening. Kane might be a trolling, deathmatching hick but you guys have entire factions whose thread's sole purpose is to catch your opps in a death screen and the mountains of high-powered weaponry you drop millions on per week just proves that point. If you want this to stop being a "cops and robbers" server then take the first step and stop roleplaying robbers and start roleplaying characters.

I'm an illegal RPer through and through but the same guys that decry DM, inter-faction drama, and OOC power brokerage on my side of the fence are the same ones that help to perpetuate it. All this holier-than-thou blame shifting is pathetic.

Probably the most popular screenshot upload site has been blocked in the UK thanks to the government's continued war against joy. If you want to... Recover your old screenshots and other uploads from Imgur You can submit a data request from Imgur's Help Centre via a ticket. View embedded screenshots from Imgur Add ProtonVPN's extension to your browser and activate a free account. The Imgur site itself will still refuse to load via most VPNs. Thanks to @GhostOfProtocol for the tip. Continue to use Imgur for your screenshots You'll probably need a paid VPN, or at least one that isn't detected by the site's proxy block. Alternatively, use a different service like imgBB.

In addition, folks are bored of the status quo and are looking for someone to blame. There are no stakes on LS-RP anymore. Get cut off by a faction for moving too heavy? Just hit some friend of a friend up on Discord and he'll supply drop you 20 fresh M4s. Got a problem with another faction? Just close ranks with your buddies and sit on their hood with nametag hacks until they log in. Faction strike? No problem, just close down and make a new thread lifted straight from ChatGPT/Wikipedia. On the LEO side, the only stakes have been the ones upheld by the leadership. PD/SD members sinking to the new "standard" of DM instead of trying to rise above it and power through it should be treated accordingly. They're the only type of faction on the server with no incentives against causing havoc beyond the slim possibility of accumulating enough punishments to be unignorably toxic players.

I'm not the biggest fan of bureaucracy but if you've put in the effort to set up and promote a business that requires door staff but come up short when it's time to open, that's an oversight on your part. You wouldn't /openbiz a bar without somebody to serve drinks. Do these club bouncers have to be the best roleplayers in the world? No, but they can really heighten the experience of your business if you mingle with the right crowd. In the Killeen Mob, we were a bunch of street-level toughs and would recruit muscle for our club out of our nearby gym. Like actual nightclubs, the door staff would usually give female characters a free pass on the ID check just to fill the dancefloor, taking the risk of letting in patrons that weren't yet old enough to drink legally. For Sova on Star Street, the bouncers are sourced from the local Armenian Power gang members. Without the presence of CEB, we'd probably still have hired bouncers but the fact they actively enforce gives the RP a dimension of risk. A degree of corruption / fallibility should be allowed to make CEB more interesting to roleplay with though. Right now it feels too caught up in the robocop mentality the law enforcement factions have been battling since time immemorial and OOC faction rules are only going to hinder any movement away from that. You're supposed to be characters first and foremost, not some homogenous hivemind of iPad drones.

This faction is worth scores more than any popularity contest and I look forward to witnessing its continued ascent into the annals of LS-RP history solely under the merit of the narrative geniuses herein.
