We don't want this to lean towards being a generic faction so we will have our own personal twist. If you've found the thread interesting and want to participate and join us on this journey then we expect you to know that you will have to develop a character and focus on bringing out the realism aspect in the environment. Any information regarding sending CK permission, the faction rules, backstory & more can be found inside the Discord channel which you can join by clicking the link below. DISCORD2 points

This week Los Santos Logistic Activity so far- We opened up our second vehicle parking spot, and moved some vehicle over to the new parking spot. We also rearrange our vehicle parking to make it more organized and empty up more space for future expansion! Reorganized vehicle fleet with more empty space in our Parking 1. Move some of the big vehicles into the parking 2. We recruit 1 new OTR driver and 1 new company mechanic, we give them simple educated before work start. We bring the new employee to look around our parking, and bring them to buy safety vest in the mall.1 point

Discussions like this popping up mark the first step of a RP server taking its last breaths. The drama mongering, accusations and management's refusal to acknowledge certain things and take accountability for them is going to set off a chain reaction of people stomping their feet and leaving just because their friends did, like we've seen with GTAC and more recently RCRP (which fell from 100 players to 10 players in the matter of a week) A majority of this thread got buried under drama about exploitative admins. Genuinely who gives a fuck? 99% of the time this happens you're seeing an exploitative person, whining about exploitative people, to an audience of yet more exploitative people; unless you live in a world where everyone has each other's best interests in mind, to which I envy you. Management needs to focus on actual points and get real loud with addressing them. Roadmaps, updates (hopefully the last one sets a precedent for future ones, because it's genuinely really nice.), anything to drown out the "SAMP is dead" screeching and all this drama that would've probably been better off kept in a private circlejerk gc. "Corrupt management" discussions mean nothing to the 60% of the playerbase that doesn't even have a forum account with more than 20 posts on it and giving the people perpetuating them all this exposure is the equivalent of giving needles to drug addicts.1 point

I know there's frustration with the staff team, but I do think they deserve alot of props for todays update. If we can work together as a community the future for LSRP is bright.1 point

Trentino hit the crux of the issue here, and also landed the nail on the head. We are a small server with a dedicated population that is only here for a very, very minute host of reasons. In my case, it is that I am unwilling to run GTA: V and have no interest in moving to another server, nor will I. We are a gasping-breath dying breed, granted, but that doesn't mean we should go out in geriatric fumbling for our oxygen tanks and wondering what went wrong or if we could have salvaged this opportunity. We may not attract the array of new roleplayers that LS-RP used to, but we can lock down the old and those willing to take the plunge into something serious and, in my opinion, wholly awesome. Though our playerbase is low in comparison to past eras, it has cultivated a symbiotic criminal and faction-based ecosystem that I, as a roleplayer, have been chasing for over a decade now. I have been on the same account since LS-RP reopened and have used that time to cultivate IC relationships with a host of factions and independent roleplayers, that encompass the legal and illegal worlds and those that blur the lines between the two. The venture-specific, based-on-criminal-merit-and-modus-operandi archetype is something that has never entered the realm of IC materialization as well as it has right now. I am experiencing some of the best roleplay I've had on the server since 2008 at this exact moment. Each and every character that exists on LS-RP right now serves a purpose, or is working towards doing so. Every niche, no matter how small it may be, is a niche that deserves to be filled. The administration have done a great job of removing trolls that are not working towards this goal. To personify this, I have not been robbed in-game by those that aren't here to roleplay in the manner of past eras in months. To continue to foster this ecosystem, the importance of managing factions is of utmost importance. This does not constitute micromanagement of factions, but instead should consist of supporting factions that present good ideas and good roleplay and, thus, allowing them the space to succeed in their endeavors, or in their failure attempting to do so in-game. The reality of this quagmire is that we need to cater to our current playerbase. We do not need 700 factions, but instead a world where 700 micro-factions exist built off the backing of existing factions and their connections to these factions paving the way to success. There is no good way to encourage players to only join factions instead of creating their own, but it is not necessary, regardless, as it can never be feasibly attained. The illegal faction base is one of the strongest I've seen to date and I count myself as one of the lucky players to have helped so many long-standing official factions of the past to success, and still, we are looking better than ever in my eyes. Kudos to our current administration on making this a reality. You all deserve more thanks than you will ever receive, but you can count me amongst the utmost thankful in your creating this environment wherein roleplayers like me are able to succeed and develop characters in the manner we have been allowed to by good management. To the rest of you hanging off the fence, asking if you should leave, hop off my nuts and go. Hang from them, because they sag low at my age. Sharif Reynolds said it best. If you're asking if I'm arsed, I'm not, but you're negatively impacting a server that should be allowed to succeed with every factor already existing against it without your comments. We don't need your "dead LS-RP" comments, but instead constructive collaboration on how we can make a run of this server until it can't run any further. When this server dies, so, too, do a lot of good roleplayers. I have nothing but the utmost confidence in this server and all that it's brought to the table. This era of administration has the whole world before them to be the best I've ever seen and are actively working towards this goal before our very eyes.1 point

Drug dealing/trafficking Guide for STREET GANGS Drug dealing and trafficking is one of the most popular things to get involved in when you're doing gang roleplay, but the issue begins at this specific point where people force people into drug dealing to prove themselves and treat their gang factions like its an entire Drug Trafficking Organization (DTO) which is somewhat unrealistic in that sense as not everyone involved in gang politics in Los Angeles are also involved in the drug game. In fact you'd be quite surprised, a lot people want to stay away from the drug game due to the bullshit it brings with it and instead a lot of gang members resort to fraud, robberies, burglaries, etc. Now, there's a difference, in what I said as well... people normally stay away from large scaled drug ops in gangs but a pretty hefty number of people probably deal drugs on low scales such as dimebags, eighths, halves, etc. Main issue is when it comes to selling bricks and stuff, and since LS-RP has always worked with ounces; we'll use 3 or more ounces as a starter point for this then. Normally when people get involved in drugs inside of street gangs, it's selling petty amounts but deep inside normally lies a secondary foundation of big time drug dealers and trafficking (depending on the connections) within that gang. The reason I'm emphasizing this is important, because the moment you're brought into that side of the drug game a simple fuck up can land you six feet deep. Street gangs are already cutthroat to the bone as it already is, but when you involve yourself with big time drug dealers and potentially traffickers within your set then you're accepting an offer from the devil in plain sight. The reason I'm bringing this up, is because a lot of people who do large scaled drug ops inside of street gangs, tend to act like it's either the entire street gang doing it and operate like a full DTO or they ignore the realistic tensions that'd come with it. It's normally a clique inside of a gang with very few people that actually 100% know what's going on when it comes to large drug ops inside of gangs, because of how cutthroat it is and the lack of trust for people. The petty drug amounts that little homies are trapping with, probably come from big homies involved deep in the drug game and it's normally the best drug dealers that sell petty amounts that normally end up being brought inside of the gang's inner circle when it comes down to large scaled drug ops. Now I do want to say this, the drug game inside of street gangs is completely different to actual DTOs or OCGs, and tends to be a lot more grimey. Depending on if it's a Southsider gang or a African-American gang, there might not be any structure inside of the gang and the one with connections to the plugs might be the one that's "influential" at that specific time n place. This is important to remember, because if your gang has no structure and goes off of a generation structure instead of a hierarchy structure, then you could even roleplay having paranoia and trust issues with people because people can get knocked off over a female or some shit in gangs, so when it comes down to drugs it's twice if not thrice as bad as the before example. This guide might not look like your average guide, and might remind you of a mini book or something but I purposely wrote it like this so it's easier to take in everything at once.
